-Lurid Crime Tales-
This ‘Cryptoqueen' scammed investors out of $4 billion, the FBI says. Then she boarded a plane and disappeared
[CNN] Ruja Ignatova strode onto the stage in a flowing burgundy ball gown adorned with black sparkles. Beams of light flashed, fireballs erupted and Alicia Keys’ "Girl on Fire" blared through the speakers.

"Looks like a girl, but she’s a flame. So bright, she can burn your eyes — better look the other way," the song crooned as a beaming Ignatova thanked the cheering crowd at London’s Wembley Arena.

That was in June 2016, when cryptocurrency was an emerging buzzword and investors were scrambling to cash in. Ignatova called herself the "Cryptoqueen" and touted her company, OneCoin, as a lucrative rival to Bitcoin in the growing cryptocurrency market.

"In two years, nobody will speak about Bitcoin anymore," she said, as investors applauded and whistled.

Sixteen months later, Ignatova boarded a plane in Sofia, Bulgaria, and vanished. She hasn’t been seen since.

Authorities say OneCoin was a pyramid scheme that defrauded people out of more than $4 billion as Ignatova convinced investors in the US and around the globe to throw fistfuls of cash at her company. Federal prosecutors describe OneCoin as one of the largest international fraud schemes ever perpetrated.

She is now one of the FBI’s 10 most-wanted fugitives, alongside accused gang leaders and murderers, and is the only woman currently on that list. Of the 529 fugitives on the FBI’s list since it launched in 1950, she’s one of just 11 women.

Ignatova and her partners "conned unsuspecting victims out of billions of dollars, claiming that OneCoin would be the ’Bitcoin killer,’" US Attorney Damian Williams, New York’s top prosecutor, said in a statement last month.

"In fact, OneCoins were entirely worthless ... (Their) lies were designed with one goal, to get everyday people all over the world to part with their hard-earned money."

Yet Another Stash Of Classified Documents Discovered During Biden's Colonoscopy
[Bee] The White House is on edge this morning after investigators revealed a fourth stash of classified documents from Biden's tenure as Vice President was found deep in his colon.

"This morning a routine colonoscopy revealed hundreds, possibly thousands of partially chewed top-secret documents crammed in the President's digestive tract," said White House physician Kevin O'Connor. "It seems many of them were eaten, while hundreds of others were inserted rectally by an unknown party or Biden himself. We have handed over all partially-digested documents to the Special Counsel in charge of the investigation. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I need a shower."

Officials are at this point unclear whether the documents were ingested on purpose or swallowed inadvertently, as sources say President Biden has always had a folksy, endearing habit of putting random things in his mouth and swallowing them.

At publishing time, doctors had confirmed the colonoscopy also turned up another hard drive linked to Hunter Biden.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Jim Webb on Echoes of Vietnam, 50 Years Later
[WSJ] Arlington, Va.

When I was a teenager in the 1980s, popular culture had basically one message on the Vietnam War: that it was conceived in American arrogance, was perpetrated by American savages, and accomplished little but psychological devastation and national disgrace. Francis Ford Coppola’s "Apocalypse Now" (1979), Oliver Stone’s "Platoon" (1986) and "Born on the Fourth of July" (1989), Stanley Kubrick’s "Full Metal Jacket" (1987), Brian De Palma’s "Casualties of War" (1989)—these and a thousand other productions, documentaries and articles told my generation that the war had been a gigantic fiasco that turned those who fought it into war criminals and frowning, guilt-ridden drug addicts.

The war ended officially on Jan. 27, 1973, with the signing of the Paris Peace Accords. That’s 50 years ago next Friday—an anniversary that will likely occasion a round of retrospective think pieces and cable-TV segments on the war’s legacy. More will follow in 2025 to mark the final American pullout from Saigon in 1975.

The country has moved on since the ’80s. The Vietnam War no longer elicits the sort of ostentatious regret it did a generation ago. To confine the discussion to Hollywood, "We Were Soldiers" (2002) was one of the first major films to portray the average American soldier in Vietnam as decent and valorous; more recently "The Last Full Measure" (2018), though indulging in the usual antiwar pieties, acknowledges the bravery and decency of American soldiers. We’ve moved on in politics, too. The great scourge of supposed American war crimes in Vietnam, John Kerry—the man who averred in 1971 that American soldiers serving in Vietnam perpetrated war crimes "in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan"—was the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee in 2004. He felt obliged to refashion himself as a war hero, and he lost.
"Swiftboating" meant telling the truth about that lying POS

9 Fail to Survive Los Angeles Lunar New Year festivities
MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (AP) — Nine people were killed in a mass shooting late Saturday in a city east of Los Angeles following a Lunar New Year celebration that attracted thousands, police said.

Sgt. Bob Boese of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the shooting was reported at 10:22 p.m. and occurred at a business on Garvey Ave. in Monterey Park. The shooter is a male, Boese said early Sunday.

Officials provided no information for several hours after dozens of police officers had responded to reports of the shooting.

Monterey Park is a city of about 60,000 people with a large Asian population that’s about 10 miles (16 kilometers) from downtown Los Angeles.

Seung Won Choi, who owns the Clam House seafood barbecue restaurant across the street from where the shooting happened, told the Los Angles Times that three people rushed into his business and told him to lock the door.

Nancy Pelosi reportedly summons priests to exorcise home of evil spirits
[NY Post] Given her abortion fanaticism, I don't think they'll be able to pray the ghey away
The power of Nancy compels you!

Former House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi summoned priests to rid her luxe San Francisco home of evil spirits after a man allegedly attacked her hubby there with a hammer.

"I think that weighed really heavy on her soul. I think she felt really guilty," said Pelosi’s daughter Alexandra, the New York Times reported Saturday.

"I think that really broke her. Over Thanksgiving, she had priests coming, trying to have an exorcism of the house and having prayer services," she added.

Fr. Arturo Albano, the pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Pelosi’s local parish, insisted his staff was not involved in such a rite.

"As far as I know, no exorcism or priest services were performed at her home," Albano told The Post.

But Pelosi may have gone outside her local church hierarchy for holy help.

San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone banned the Democrat from receiving Holy Communion in May, "until such time as you publically repudiate your advocacy for the legitimacy of abortion," he wrote at the time. The archdiocese did not return a request for comment.
Pelosi has long referred to herself as a devout Catholic, despite her vociferous pro-abortion advocacy in opposition to church teaching.

Critics all but climbed the walls in reaction to the head-spinning news.

"Will she also be coordinating one for the speaker’s office?" wondered Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.).

"Hopefully Nancy doesn’t vanish after the exorcism," tweeted Terry Mann.

Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, urged Pelosi to get "help" — from a psychiatrist.

"The woman is positively conflicted. She wears her Catholicism on her sleeve while basically sticking her middle finger at the Catholic Church every opportunity she has."
"If it’s genuine, she needs psychiatric help," Donohue continues. "And if not, it’s another example of Nancy Pelosi exploiting the Catholic Church for her own personal gain."

But Fr. Vincent Lampert, exorcist for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis, said exorcism could indeed be appropriate to combat "demonic infestation," and the presence of evil that may linger in a place where violent crime has occurred.

"It would be the recitation of a particular prayer, inviting the presence of God back into the house, casting out any presence of evil that may be there," Lampert said. "Then the house would be blessed with holy water, reminding us of our new life in Christ, and the fact that we need not fear any evil, because recognizing that Christ is dwelling with us."

"I would say I get thousands of those requests every year," he added.

Pelosi’s home was the site of a brutal hammer attack on Paul Pelosi October 29, when conspiracy theorist David DePape allegedly barged his way into the residence in search of the then-Speaker of the House.

DePape, 42, allegedly bludgeoned Paul Pelosi, 82, with a hammer, fracturing his skull and seriously injuring his right arm and hands, which required surgery, authorities said.

#6  Exorcism of a location is uncommon but there is a standard ritual outlined for it in a book that regular folks cannot buy. As abortion clinics are shut down and converted to legitimate purposes, I would highly recommend that type of exorcism. The normal exorcist for a Catholic diocese is the bishop. Usually they deputize someone else to perform that function. Because of that, I am surprised to see one approved for Nancy’s house. To me it seems appropriate but premature.

FBI Reluctantly Offers $25k for Source Information on Vandalism To Pro-Life Centers
[Breitbart] After several months, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) offered $25,000 rewards on Thursday to anyone who can provide information leading to arrest and conviction of suspects in several attacks against pro-life pregnancy resource centers across the country.

"Today’s announcement reflects the FBI’s commitment to vigorously pursue investigations into crimes against pregnancy resource centers, faith-based organizations, and reproductive health clinics across the country," said FBI Director Christopher Wray. "We will continue to work closely with our national, state, and local law enforcement partners to hold responsible anyone who uses extremist views to justify their criminal actions."

Twin blasts in Jammu; 9 injured

Nine people suffered multiple wounds in the twin blasts that rocked Transport Nagar in Narwal area of Jammu district on Saturday following which a security alert was sounded across Jammu.

The Transport Nagar is a busy place where a number of workshops, service stations, shops of mechanics, painters, and vehicle spare parts are located.

The twin blasts took place within a span of 20 minutes in two vehicles in the Yard Number 7 in Transport Nagar while the business there was as usual.

ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh along with DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Shakti Pathak and SSP Jammu, Chandan Kohli rushed to the earth-shattering kaboom site and reviewed the situation.

Giving an account of the earth-shattering kabooms, initially ADGP Singh confirmed that six people suffered injuries in the twin blasts.

"Around 11 am, a kaboom took place in an already parked old Bolero vehicle in which five people standing nearby were maimed. All the injured are out of danger and have been hospitalised," the ADGP said. "Following the first explosion, the area was being vacated. While the process was still on, a second explosion took place 50 meters away from the first explosion site in which one person suffered a minor injury."

He said: "We have shifted the injured to the hospital. The investigation into the earth-shattering kabooms has been started."

Later, the Police confirmed injuries to three more persons who reached the hospital for treatment.

The injured have been identified as Sohail, 35, son of Muhammad Iqbal of Ustad Mohalla Jammu, Sushil Kumar, 26, son of Ramesh Kumar of Prem Nagar, Doda, Vishap Partap, 25, son of Babu Singh of Kanachak Jammu, Vinod Kumar, 52, son of Kaku Ram of Chak Bakhtawar in R S Pura, Arun Kumar of Qasim Nagar Bawe, Amit Kumar, 40, son of Gulshan Kumar of Bahu Fort Jammu, Rajesh Kumar, 35, son of Darshan Lal of Bawe Jammu, Abhishek Kumar, son of Darshan Lal of R S Pura and Aneesh, son of Mansa Ram of Bahu Fort.

Meanwhile,
...back at the railroad tracks, Little Nell tried to kick her bound feet and scream post the snotty handkerchief Scarface Al had stuff into her mouth...
some people claimed that the second explosion allegedly in a sedan was powerful.

Fortunately, no life was lost in the earth-shattering kabooms.

All the shops were also closed on the request of Police.

"The shops were closed and most of the people had left the area before the search operation. Army contingents, bomb disposal squads, forensic teams, sniffer dogs, and paramilitary personnel also reached the earth-shattering kaboom sites," a Police officer said.

The security forces before the start of Cordon And Search Operation (CASO) blocked entire Transport Nagar’s entry and exit points.

Islamabad’s Jamia Hafsa students back on streets after police operation
Lal Masjid students erupt regularly, running mad through the streets imposing Sharia law on all who catch their attention. They’re as bad as university students in medieval Paris.
[Dawn] Hundreds of Jamia Hafsa
... the Islamic nunnery maintained by Lal Masjid....
students on Saturday staged sit-ins at two places following a clash with police after the latter demolished an under-construction structure on Friday night at the old site of the seminary adjacent to Lal Masjid
...literally the Red Mosque, located in Islamabad and frequented by all sorts of high govt officials. The proprietors, Ghazi Abdul Rasheed and Maulana Abdul Aziz Ghazi, unleashed their Islamic storm troopers on the city, shutting down whorehouses and beating people up who weren't devout enough. The Musharraf govt put an end to the nonsense by besieging the place. Abdul Aziz Ghazi was nabbed while he was trying to escape dressed up like a girl. BBC reported that the corpse count at 173, but other claims, usually hysterical, say there were up to 1000 titzup. Among their number was Abdul Rashid Ghazi. Everyone then said tut-tut and what a nice guy he had been...
Till filing of this report at about 10pm, the students were present inside Lal Masjid and the road adjacent to Jamia Hafsa at G-7.

A policeman identified as constable Waqas was injured when some of the students pelted the police with stones.

A police officer told Dawn that Special Branch had informed the officers concerned about the ongoing construction work at a greenbelt adjacent to Lal Masjid and presence of construction material there.

The site was covered with tin sheets to hide the ongoing construction work, he added.

In response, officials from the capital police, administration and the CDA raided the site and demolished the structure, he said, adding the police also seized the construction material and removed them from the site.

Shortly afterwards, Umme Hasaan, wife of Maulana Abdul Aziz
...nutball holy man who runs the Lal Masjid in the heart of Pakistain's capital. After instigating a rebellion against the state in 2007, he was caught trying to sneak away dressed in a burka. He rejects democracy as un-Islamic, which it probably is...
, along with 250 to 300 students reached Lal Masjid and staged a sit-in, the officer said.

The sit-in led to a standoff between the students and the police. The students rolled their eyes, jumped up and down, and hollered poorly rhymed slogans real loud against the police and pelted the personnel with stones.

As a result, the constable sustained an injury to his head, he added.

In the afternoon, Maulana Aziz
...incidentally, Maulana Aziz and his brother were in regular contact with Al Qaeda big turbans, having inherited the connection from their dad along with the Red Mosque...
also reached Lal Masjid and joined the sit-in in front of the mosque.

A mufti came out from the mosque and told the police and the administration officials that he would take the holy man and the students inside if the police force was moved to one side, said the officer.

The request was accepted by a magistrate.

Later, Maulana Aziz came out from the mosque and asked the students to cover the construction site with tents and went back inside the mosque.

Till filing of this report, the students were present at the entrance to the mosque near the weekly bazaar. Some students were also staging a sit-in at a street near Jamia Hafsa in G-7.

Police, including Anti-Riot Unit, were deployed around Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa to maintain peace, the officer added.

Afghanistan
Daily Evacuation Brief January 22, 2023
[AfghanDigest] LAST 24 HOURS
  • PASSPORT OFFICES REOPEN BUT RUMORS PERSIST THAT ONLY TALIBAN FAITHFUL BEING SERVED – While the Taliban regime seemed proud to announce that the Passport Directorate had overcome several ‘technical difficulties’ to finally reopen, those who have long waited for their passports to be processed say the offices are focused primarily on serving Taliban security forces personnel and other Taliban supporters. Sources provided photos of personnel stationed inside two passport offices are rumored to depict special personnel who have been placed in the offices to assist in filling in the forms for those among the Taliban who can neither read nor write. An unconfirmed report suggesting that European countries would not issue Schengen visas to Afghan citizens may be in response to the rumors.

  • IRANIAN VISA PROGRAM SUSPENDED IN HERAT – Residents of Herat and surrounding communities are clamoring for the Iranian Consulate to recommence issuing medical, student, and tourist visas. The Consulate had ceased issuing all but business visas nearly two months ago. The stoppage was reportedly in response to a Taliban decision to close an agency that assisted people to get their visas. Sources had suggested at the time the facility was closed after Iran asked the Taliban to implement policies to slow the flood of refugees to Iran. Currently, local Taliban officials are meeting with the Consul General of Iran in Herat to reopen the process.

  • RUSSIAN ENVOY TO AFGHANISTAN AGAIN IMPLICATES THE US IN SUPPORT FOR DAESH, CLAIMS AFGHANISTAN RESERVES ARE BEING HELD AS BLACKMAIL – Zamir Kabulov, the Russian Presidential envoy for Afghanistan, has again tried to tie the United States to ISIS-K activities in Afghanistan and claims Russia has proof of US involvement. Kabulov, who has been described as being one of the ‘bluntest knives’ in Putin’s diplomatic drawer made several fantastic claims to media officials leveled at the US. A source within the Ministry of the Interior said that most of the Taliban leadership does not believe such claims privately but will not contradict Russia as it suits their needs at the moment.

  • 2 ADDITIONAL ISIS-K MEMBERS REPUTEDLY ARRESTED IN POLICE DISTRICT 9 – A source said that, after the clash between Taliban and ISIS-K forces in Police District 6, evidence collected near the scene led Ministry of the Interior agents to an apartment in Police District 9. Local eyewitnesses say 3 Taliban security vehicles pulled up to the apartment and ‘men’ (presumably GDI agents) led 2 unidentified people out of the building and into the vehicles. The source said that more intelligence was gained from this arrest and that counter-terrorism officials believe that 2 operational cells are currently in Kabul with a total of approximately 13 ISIS-K members.

NEXT 24 HOURS
ISIS-K SECURITY OPERATIONS TO CONTINUE – After two successful security operations provided critical intelligence to the Taliban, further confrontations are expected in Kabul. While sources could not provide information on locations that were to be the focus of surveillance operations, they were confident that at least 2 ISIS-K cells are in the city and that Ministry of the Interior agents had narrowed their searches down to three unnamed Police Districts.

US military kills 30 Al-Shabaab militants in self-defense strike
[ShabelleMedia] At the request of the Federal Government of Somalia and in support of Somali National Army engagements against al-Shabaab
...... the personification of Somali state failure...
, U.S. Africa Command conducted a collective self-defense strike on Jan. 20, 2023.

The strike occurred approximately 260 km northeast of Mogadishu near Galcad, Somalia where Somalia National Army forces were engaged in heavy fighting following a complex, extended, intense attack by more than 100 al-Shabaab fighters.

The combined actions by partner forces on the ground and the collective self-defense strike are estimated to have resulted in three destroyed vehicles and approximately thirty al-Shabaab Lions of Islam killed.

Given the remote location of the fighting, the command assesses that no civilians were maimed or killed.

The U.S. is one of several countries providing support to the Federal Government of Somalia in its ongoing campaign to disrupt, degrade and defeat terrorist groups. Rooting out extremism ultimately requires intervention beyond traditional military means, leveraging U.S. and partner efforts to support effective governance, promote stabilization and economic development, and resolve ongoing conflicts.

U.S. Africa Command is the defense arm of the U.S. whole-of-government approach with African partners — diplomacy, development, and defense. This three-pronged, or "3D" approach aims to increase cooperation and support for "partner-led, U.S.-enabled" solutions to shared security challenges, including violent mostly peaceful extremism or terrorism. All kinetic operations conducted and supported by U.S. Africa Command are done in coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia.

Somalia remains central to stability and security in all of East Africa. U.S. Africa Command’s forces will continue training, advising, and equipping partner forces to help give them the tools they need to defeat al-Shabaab, the largest and most deadly al-Qaeda network in the world.
The US Africa Command has confirmed eliminating over 30 Al-Shabaab militants in the latest confrontation, a figure which corroborates data given by the Somali National Army [SNA] following the deadly ambush at Gal'ad town on Friday morning which targeted an army base.

The Somali government confirmed the attack shortly after the incident in Gal'ad town, noting that over 30 militants were killed and 5 armoured vehicles used by the terrorists recovered. The government also announced the death of Major Hassan Osman Mohamed alias Hassan Tuure, who was the deputy commander of the Danab Special forces.

Seven other soldiers were killed during the raid which was activated moments after the Al-Shabaab had technically pulled out of the town, paving way for the entry of the soldiers, who announced a takeover of the strategic town along with Haradhere, which were major income earners for Al-Shabaab.

In a statement, the US Africa Command said the army managed to kill over 30 militants after they waged the attack at Gal'ad town, noting that three vehicles were destroyed in a new “collective self-defense airstrike” conducted on January 20 following the militant group’s complex attack on Somali forces.

Al-Shabaab’s complex, extended, intense attack on Galcad was carried out by more than 100 al-Shabaab fighters, the US military reported. It’s unclear how many Somali soldiers were at the base at the time of the attack. The Somali government confirmed that 7 soldiers were killed in the attack, adding that Al-Shabaab lost over 100 fighters.

The Al-Shabaab militants separately claimed they managed to kill over 156 Somali National Army soldiers, adding that 45 armoured vehicles were confiscated from the government troops. The militants went to display the confiscated vehicles at a location that was not immediately disclosed.

In most instances, the US Africa Command works closely with the Danab Special forces, who are trained and equipped by the Americans. Danab Special Forces have been working closely with the US Africa Command, and have been conducting operations in the last five months within central Somalia and parts of southern Somalia.

Lockdown Tsar Chris Hipkins to Become Next New Zealand Prime Minister
[Breitbart] Education Minister Chris Hipkins is set to become New Zealand’s next prime minister after he was the only candidate to enter the contest Saturday to replace Jacinda Ardern.

Hipkins, 44, must still garner an endorsement Sunday from his Labour Party colleagues, but that is just a formality now. An official transfer of power will come in the days to follow.

Ardern shocked the nation of 5 million people on Thursday when she announced she was resigning after five-and-a-half years in the top role.

The lack of other candidates indicated party lawmakers had rallied behind Hipkins to avoid a drawn-out contest and any sign of disunity following Ardern’s departure.

Hipkins will have only a little more than eight months in the role before contesting a general election. Opinion polls have indicated that Labour is trailing its main opponent, the conservative National Party.

Hipkins rose to public prominence during the coronavirus pandemic, when he took on a kind of crisis management role. But he and other liberals have long been in the shadow of Ardern, who became a global icon of the left and exemplified a new style of leadership.

Biden Admin Reports Record 250K Migrant Encounters Along Southwest Border in December
[Breitbart] The Biden Administration announced another record-setting month for migrant encounters along the U.S.-Mexico border. The report of nearly 252,000 migrant encounters came in a Friday-night after-hours news dump. This represents the largest single-month report in U.S. history.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released the December Southwest Land Border Encounters Report early Friday evening. The report revealed that U.S. Border Patrol agents and CBP officers encountered 251,487 migrants in the month of December 2022.

While the December report sets yet another record for the Biden administration, it represents the tenth-straight month of reports exceeding 200,000 migrant encounters.

Former border security officials from the Obama and Trump administrations were quick to criticize the Biden administration for the skyrocketing numbers.

“Joe Biden is the first president in my lifetime to intentionally un-secure the border,” former acting ICE Director and Heritage Foundation visiting fellow Tom Homan said in a written statement on Friday. “By way of more than 90 executive orders, he undid the successful Trump-era policies that brought illegal immigration to a 40-year low and gave us the most secure border of our lifetimes.”

“This president and his team were warned what would happen if they got rid of those policies,” Homan stated. “They did it anyway, and you’re looking at the consequences.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart Texas shortly after President Biden took office, former CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan reported on the warnings given to the Biden administration during the transition.

“Look, I know what our team said to the transition team,” the former commissioner said at the time. “I know the facts and data and analysis that was provided.”

On Friday, Morgan, also a Heritage Foundation visiting fellow, brought the impact of Biden’s changes in border security and immigration into focus.

“What’s been happening at the border the last two years continues to be a catastrophic crisis, and the White House, Secretary Mayorkas, and the open-borders advocates on the left continue to lie about it,” Morgan stated. “Under the last Democratic president, 25,000 encounters was a borderline crisis—for the Biden administration, 10 times that number is simply business as usual.”

“Secretary Mayorkas has been in his post for two years. He has presided over all this chaos and destruction, willfully implementing every single one of his boss’ open-borders policies,” the former CBP commissioner added. “Those policies have abjectly failed, yet he continues to absurdly claim the opposite, even to the point of lying under oath before Congress. No sane person could look at the border and claim we’re on the right course.”

The CBP Southwest Land Border Encounters Report reveals that since February 1, 2021, President Biden’s first full month in office, and December 31, 2022, Border Patrol agents and CBP officers encountered more than 4.5 million migrants along the southwest border with Mexico.

In November, Azerbaijan’s parliament approved a plan to open an embassy in Israel, a milestone in the flourishing bilateral relationship. Weeks later, Baku named its deputy education minister as the country’s first ambassador to Israel. US will support supply of F-16 fighter jets by allies to Ukraine - US Ambassador to OSCE
[Espreso UA] Is this an official or personal policy statement?
The US Ambassador to the OSCE has confirmed that Washington would agree to the idea of partners to transfer American-made F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine

This is stated in an interview with Michael Carpenter for Delfi.

"We have long believed that what our allies supply is their business. And we support the countless contributions that our allies have made to Ukraine... And so I expect there will be broad support in the United States for our allies to continue to increase their contributions," the US Ambassador to the OSCE said.

When asked if the above statement was about F-16 fighters, the ambassador confirmed.

As a reminder, the Dutch Cabinet of Ministers will consider supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets and paying for Leopard 2 tanks.

Putin orders 21 mobile crematoriums to ‘hide scale of losses in Ukraine'
[Metro News UK] Vladimir Putin has ordered 21 mobile crematoriums from China in anticipation of even more losses in Ukraine, reports say.

It’s believed they will be used on the frontline to hide the true scale of deaths among the mobilised troops.

Russia has already lost an estimated 100,000 soldiers since the invasion started last February, but there are rumours Moscow is preparing for the death toll to more than double to 220,000 by May.

Telegram channel General SVR claims Putin ’is not embarrassed by the colossal losses’ from the war he inflicted on Europe, but the scale would be ’disturbing’ to the public.

’As a result, according to the president, the losses must be "smeared over time", and the crematoriums have been ordered for this,’ they added.

’Putin has been informed that the order is ready and will be delivered to Russia via third countries in the near future.’

Moldova mulls joining NATO
[Yahoo] "Now, there is a serious discussion ... about our capacity to defend ourselves, whether we can do it ourselves, or whether we should be part of a larger alliance," Sandu said.

"And if we come, at some point, to the conclusion as a nation that we need to change neutrality, this should happen through a democratic process."

Sandu stressed that Chisinau’s strengthening of its own defense, contrary to Russia's claims, is not a provocation against anyone, including against the unrecognized Transnistria — a region of Moldova which hosts a Russian military base.
Early in the war, Lukashenka (clumsily or shrewdly, hard to tell with this guy) revealed a battle plan map showing the Russians taking a left into Moldova after taking Odessa.
"Moldova is a peaceful country," she said.

"It’s not Moldova that started a war against its neighbors. Russian propaganda managed to convince part of our population that neutrality means you don’t have to invest in your defense sector, that neutrality means you do nothing and you have no capacity to defend yourself, which is wrong."

-Haqqani regime. The UN mission in Afghanistan has long been the target of charges of mismanagement of money, and corruption in its own ranks and in its relations with corrupt Afghans. The latest charge by Afghans is that the $40,000,000 in cash that has been arriving quite regularly for many months is ending up in the terror regime’s hands and not reaching those in dire need. It does not help the UN’s case that when the Taliban-Haqqani controlled bank shows photos of pallets of cash every time it arrives and claims it has access to the money.

Gaetz suggests Biden's documents scandal is an inside job
[WND] There already had been comments made that the scandal over Joe Biden's decision to keep classified government documents from years ago, during his time as vice president, in unsecured storage areas at a vacant office and at his Delaware home was an inside job.

That would be scheming on the part of Democrats to create an obvious reason for him to end his career with this term, to not seek another four years in the White House.

Now a report from Trending Politics explains that Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., has openly suggested that is the case.

"There’s an element to this that feels like the Democrats are taking out Joe Biden," he explained this week. "I don’t know that that’s the case, but I don’t know that it’s not."

But he pointed out the scandal erupted — after weeks in which Biden and his cronies allegedly tried to keep it secret — "Just as Joe Biden is hardening the cement around his decision to run for president again, they start looking for what classified documents might have been tucked away eight years ago."

The documents have been found at the Penn Biden Center and at Biden's Wilmington home where son Hunter Biden, while on some of his drug-induced episodes, lived while he was making deals with Chinese interests.

CNN reported the documents included those from Joe Biden's time as vice president, and that they were not secured as required by law. Nor did Joe Biden, as VP, have the authority to declassify them.

#5  We are letting Biden and the Democrats make our children's future one of great poverty and crime be giving away their birthrights to an invasion.

Worst case numbers say something North of SIX Million new illegals admitted in 2 years, and volume is increasing. The net cost of each illegal after they pay any taxes is estimated conservatively at $6,940. $6,940 x new entry in last two years is 6,000,000 = $41.6 billion more, and $1.7 billion a month more in new cost at Biden's current rate of admission, per the latest CPB estimates of monthly entry encounters. So $135 billion plus the new $41 billion = $176 billion/ per year, so far. This is INSANITY!

"All told, the nearly $135 billion paid out by federal and state and local taxpayers to cover the cost of the presence of 12.5 million illegal aliens and their 4.2 million citizen children amounts to approximately $8,075 per illegal alien and citizen child prior to taxes paid, or $6,940 per person after taxes are paid."

Attrition: Expanding the Shrinking Russian Army
A taste — because Rantburg is part of Strategy Page’s raw data feed, we are restricted to the bare minimum when posting links to their articles. Go read the rest at the link, dear Reader.
See also Gen. Milley on Russian losses here.
[Strategy Page] The Russian government increased the legal maximum number of its active-duty military personnel from 1,013,628 to 1,150,628 personnel. It is unlikely that this number will ever be reached. Right now that means the heavy Russian losses since the invasion began, and failure to mobilize many replacements, reduced the army to about 250,000 personnel.

Mobilizations of new conscripts and men who had served the one year of conscript service failed to replace all the losses, in part because the mobilized men knew that the war in Ukraine was not going well and most men sent there had little training, equipment or leadership. Most of the junior officers were killed or disabled during the first months of the war and replacements take months to train.

Ukraine had 250,000 active-duty troops in early 2022 and within months had half a million more in form of volunteers and conscripts. Normally Ukrainian troops receive a lot more training than their Russian counterparts but in the first months of the war planet of untrained Ukrainians were used to halt the invasion. Since then, Ukrainian troops get more training and are led by officers and NCOs in combat. Ukrainian troops don’t suffer from supply shortages and suffer relatively few casualties than the Russians.

This British infantry rifle is one of the quietest rifles ever made
[WATM] In 1943, at the height of World War II in Europe and beyond, two men met at a building overlooking the River Thames in the Westminster area of London. One of the men was Air Ministry engineer William Godfray de Lisle and the other was an officer of the British Combined Operations Department, Maj. Sir Malcolm Campbell. Campbell’s office oversaw raids on German positions throughout the European theater. De Lisle was there to show the officer a new weapon he’d designed. It was a .22-caliber rifle designed with an internal suppressor, supposedly one of the quietest weapons ever made. The men decided the best way to test its volume would be to fire it over the heads of the Londoners below and into the river.

No one heard a single shot. Campbell ordered De Lisle to create a 9-millimeter version, and later a .45-caliber version of the same weapon. The .45 would be just as quiet and even produced no visible muzzle flash. At 50 yards, no one would hear the weapon’s discharge. It seemed to be the perfect clandestine weapon.

Its firing test revealed a decibel range that topped out at 85.5, the same volume of a truck passing by. Without any kind of suppression, a normal handgun will create upwards of 168 decibels. Most suppressed firearms will only be slightly lower, between 117 and 140 decibels, which is the same volume as many firecrackers. Not exactly the level of noise a secret operation might prefer. The bolt action of the De Lisle weapons was actually louder than the shot it fired.

Ex-adviser to DR Congo President taken to prison following hearing
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A former presidential adviser in DR Congo who was removed from the cabinet and detained last week has been transferred to the main prison in Kinshasa after a six-hour hearing with prosecutors, according to state media.

"Fortunat Biselele, an influential ex-private adviser to President Felix Tshisekedi was transferred on Friday night to the central prison of Makala" following the marathon hearing, government news agency ACP reported.

Two videos released by the agency showed Biselele, escorted by soldiers, climbing the steps to the prosecutor's office early Friday evening.

A substantial police presence was also visible at the entrance to the office, according to an AFP journalist.

Later that night, a witness told AFP he had seen Biselele getting into a vehicle under police escort.

Biselele was removed from the presidential cabinet on January 14 and taken into custody, but the official reasons for his detention remain unknown.

An article published by the newsletter Africa Intelligence, however, said he was "suspected of collusion" with the government of Rwandan President Paul Kagame.

The outlet reported that Biselele had tried to "bring Kinshasa and Kigali closer together at the start of Tshisekedi’s mandate."

Relations between the two governments have since hit rock bottom, with the DRC accusing Rwanda of supporting M23 rebels who have taken territory in the DRC’s east.

The United States, several European countries and United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
experts agree that Rwanda is assisting the M23.

Kigali, however, has denied the allegations.
No, no! Certainly not!
while accusing the DRC’s military of colluding with a rebel group descended from the perpetrators of the Rwandan genocide in 1994.

On Thursday, it accused Kinshasa of abandoning a deal aimed at bringing peace to DR Congo’s volatile east as tensions spiral.

An insane number of Ukrainian brigades, though many partially depleted, were concentrated on that 50 kilometer long front. This left other sectors nearly empty of Ukrainian troops.

On the southern and northern sectors of the battle-line the Ukrainian forces have been thinned out and are only able to defend against minor forces.

The Ukrainian forces in the north and south are in the same position Russian troops had been in when the Ukrainian army last year launched a blitz attack in the Kharkiv region. The Russian screening force of some 2,000 boarder guards and federal police retreated and used its artillery to destroy the oncoming Ukrainian forces. The attack ran out of power and came to a halt after progressing some 70 kilometers on a rather large front. But Ukraine no longer has, unlike the Russians at that time, the artillery that is need to stop a larger thrust.

The big Ukrainian concentration in Bakhmut is now in an operational encirclement. The Russian forces have progressed north and south of the city and their artillery can easily control the western exit roads of Bakhmut. This a Verdun like situation. Russian artillery is by far numerical superior and can slaughter the Ukrainian troops at will. Even the U.S. military is now suggesting that Ukraine should give up on that city. Should the government in Kiev agree to that it will be a retreat under fire with likely high casualties. Not retreating though will make things even worse.

#1  Below the snip shown - the Ukrainians have 3 Territorial Defense brigades covering a 100 click front with no artillery brigade in sector and thus minimal counter battery fire options. Nil mobile armor reserve. The 56th Mech brigade reinforced 6 days ago but equipped with a smogasbord of western equipment with commensurate resupply / repair issues. Russian forces seem to be the 58th Army - full TO&E - not Wagner, Chechen or Donbas militia. Per the title - beaucoup disinformation in this affray so stand by for further developments

Senate Dems support full investigation into Biden document scandal: 'Irresponsible and disturbing'; DOJ secrtly got Biden permission to do search; classified docs Biden took when U.S. Senator found in new search
[FoxNews] Pressure is continuing to build on President Biden and his administration as some Senate Democrats are now saying they support a full investigation into his mishandling of the classified documents found at his home and former office disclosed earlier this month.

"The reports about President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents are extremely irresponsible and disturbing. These allegations should be investigated fully," Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., told Fox News Digital on Friday.
Senator Manchin is apparently not nearly as popular back home as he’s accustomed to being...
Fox also spoke with Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., who echoed Manchin's concern.

"This news raises serious questions and the appointment of an unbiased special prosecutor to investigate the matter is the right step," Kaine said.

Manchin and Kaine joined a noticeably small list of Democrats who have spoken out about the Biden document scandal, while most, especially those up for re-election in 2024, have been reluctant to address the situation.

Rep. Katie Porter, D-Calif., who announced earlier this month that she would be seeking Sen. Dianne Feinstein's, D-Calif., Senate seat even though Feinstein has yet to announce her retirement, told Fox after a Tuesday town hall event that lawmakers "definitely" wanted "to get answers from the White House" concerning the documents.

"Classified documents belong in classified settings, and I think you heard me say oversight is not a partisan thing. Good oversight means you're willing to hold any rule breaker to account," she added. "We should be asking for answers in a respectful way, and we should be expecting to get honest ones."

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., who announced she would not be running for re-election next year, acknowledged it was a bad look for Biden to be caught having classified information after condemning former President Donald Trump for a similar situation.

Fox News Digital reached out to every Senate Democrat who has yet to make a statement on the Biden documents and whose term ends in 2024, but all except Manchin and Kaine didn't respond.
*Snicker* Snark level: Troll.
Those who didn't respond include Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn.; Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii; Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.; Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont.; Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev.; Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J.; Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M.; Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio; Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa.; Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash.; Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.; Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I.; Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del.; and Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis.

Report: DOJ Secretly Asked Biden to Search His Residence for Classified Docs

DOJ seizes more classified docs from Biden's Wilmington home after 12-hour search

[FoxNews] The Justice Department seized additional classified records from President Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home after an FBI search on Friday, Fox News has learned.

"On Jan. 20, 2023, the FBI executed a planned, consensual search of the President's residence in Wilmington, Delaware," Joseph D. Fitzpatrick, an assistant U.S. attorney to U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, told Fox News Saturday.

Lausch was the DOJ official running the investigation into Biden's improper retention of classified records ahead of the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Hur. Fox News has learned Lausch is still playing an integral role in the probe as Hur gets up to speed.

The FBI search began Friday morning at 9:45 a.m. and concluded Friday night around 10:30 p.m.

Biden's personal attorney Bob Bauer said Saturday evening the search covered "all working, living and storage spaces in the home."
Bauer is married to lizard Maoist Anita Dunn, who recommended not disclosing the discovery of the documents
DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate.
Bauer said that by agreement with the Justice Department, representatives of both Biden's personal legal team and the White House Counsel’s Office were present for the search. Neither the president nor the first lady were present during the search.

"DOJ had full access to the President’s home, including personally handwritten notes, files, papers, binders, memorabilia, to-do lists, schedules, and reminders going back decades," Bauer continued.

"DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President," Bauer said. "DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years."

Biden left the U.S. Senate in 2008 to serve as vice president to former President Barack Obama.

The search comes a week after Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate the president’s possible unauthorized removal and improper retention of classified documents and records discovered at the Penn Biden Center in Washington D.C., and in his private residence in Wilmington, Delaware.

Classified records were found inside the Washington, D.C., offices of the Penn Biden Center think tank on Nov. 2, 2022, but only disclosed to the public last week.

A second stash of classified documents was also found inside the garage of the president’s home in Wilmington. Last weekend, additional classified documents were found in the president’s home.

The White House has repeatedly declined to comment on the contents of the classified records, as well as the levels of the classification, saying instead that the records "have been turned over to proper authorities and will be part of the ongoing investigation."

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Expert points out the main drawback of the Leopard 2 tanks
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] The "Ramstein meeting" has not yet become the final point in the supply of NATO tanks to Kyiv. However, experts believe that sooner or later the supporters of such supplies will achieve their goal and Ukraine will receive these tanks. How will they perform on the battlefield?

On Friday, January 20, a meeting dedicated to the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine was held at the Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. It was expected that the meeting would approve a delivery schedule for German Leopard 2 tanks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but this did not happen.

As German Defense Minister Oscar Pistorius stated following the meeting, the partners failed to reach a consensus on this matter. At the same time, Germany stated that it does not mind if Ukrainian crews begin training on Leopard tanks in other countries.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov said that the training of tankers in European countries will begin in the near future.

Experts note that the issue of supplying tanks to Ukraine will be resolved one way or another in the near future. Especially since Poland and Great Britain have already agreed to supply armored vehicles. The authorities of Finland have already declared their readiness to supply tanks, while the Czech Republic and Slovakia intend to refuse the supply of tanks from Germany in favor of Ukraine.

As Alexander Mikhailovsk , a reserve officer of tank troops, noted in a conversation with IA REGNUM , in the case of Poland, we are talking about Leopard 2A4 tanks, which will have a number of advantages during the Ukrainian conflict.

"In the Ukrainian conflict, tanks are usually used to fire at dispersed manpower and manpower in cover. This applies to almost all models of tanks and both sides of the conflict. If we are talking about Leopard 2 tanks, then they are unified in terms of weapons with all NATO tanks, including those made in the USA. There are multi-purpose programmable high-explosive fragmentation munitions with ready-made submunitions DM 11. These projectiles in the conditions of the Ukrainian conflict will be dangerous for manpower, since they are equipped with a programmable fuse and can provide detonation on the trajectory with subsequent hitting the target both from below the projectile (shrapnel the projectile itself and high-explosive impact), and in the direction of flight of the projectile with a beam of ready-made submunitions (shrapnel)"- said the expert.

The tanks available to European countries were produced at different times and differ greatly depending on the modification. The most modern Leopard 2A7 models are only available to the Bundeswehr, and in very small quantities. So it is extremely unlikely that they will be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The most massive modifications are Leopard 2A4 and 2A5. So deliveries can be made using machines of this model, which are in service with Finland, Poland, Norway, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Spain and Greece.

Modifications differ significantly in their "stuffing": the presence of modern equipment, including fire controls. But, according to Alexander Mikhailovsky, tanks of the Leopard 2 family have one common advantage, which is extremely important when conducting a maneuvering battle.

"If we are talking about the battle of two tanks, then in the context of Ukraine, two circumstances matter: maneuverability and maneuverability. As the experience of recent battles shows, the one who moves faster survives. If you delay with this, then the enemy will have time to direct artillery. The modern transmission allows the Leopard 2A4 to reach speeds of 75 km/h.

"The specific pressure on the ground corresponds to the same for the T-90A tanks, slightly exceeds the T-90M in this indicator and is slightly inferior to the T-72B3. This parameter is responsible for the cross-country ability, therefore, when conducting an oncoming tank battle, the Leopard 2 will not be inferior to domestic vehicles in soft ground conditions. As you know, constant rains turn Ukrainian black soil into viscous mud, in which both our and Ukrainian equipment stalls. Therefore, the Leopards will have an advantage here," - said Alexander Mikhailovsky.

However, with all the advantages, German-made armored vehicles were predicted to have a short life in the conditions of the war in Ukraine. The only experience of using Leopard 2A4 tanks in the conditions of modern military operations showed their vulnerability to manual anti-tank weapons.

We are talking about the tanks of the Turkish army, used during the battles for the city of Al-Bab in northern Syria. Then at least three tanks were destroyed by militants with only hand weapons.

"In a word, Leopard 2, even in the A4 modification, is good for its time, but with the modern saturation of the battlefield with anti-tank weapons, survivability drops dramatically. I don’t presume to name the exact timings, but it’s obvious that when they get to the front, these cars, with all the pluses described above, will not live long," the expert sums up.

#1  O please. The Turkisk models were the older unmodified ones. The Candians brought over the A4 and the A6 Can to Afganistan with no losses and the Taliban had lots of anti tank munitions. Funny how the experts don't say the same for the various T72 models eventhough there's 30+ years of flying turrets while exploding

Africa North
The West is losing in the fight for Africa
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Petr Akopov

[RIA] In the war with Russia, the West has no forgotten fronts - everywhere you need to be on the alert. Work is underway on all continents - and Africa occupies a special place among them.

Not because there are 54 countries and their votes are important for obtaining a majority in the UN voting on resolutions condemning "aggressive Russia." These are all trifles, although the fact that last March the majority of African countries refused to vote together with the West, for some reason, was surprising for the "golden billion." But the point is not in symbolic resolutions, but in an absolutely concrete struggle for the future world order.

In which today's Africa (in terms of population rapidly catching up with China and India ) will no longer be just an object of foreign manipulations, but will also try to seriously defend its own interests. Therefore, it is so important who will become a strategic partner for Africa in the coming decades - the West or the East: the USA and Europeor China and Russia. There is, of course, a third force in the struggle for Africa - the Islamic world (which includes a large part of the Black Continent), but he himself is increasingly leaning from the West to the East.

It is not surprising that the upcoming joint Russian-Chinese-South African naval exercises off the coast of South Africa in a month are causing great displeasure in the West. After all, if, as South African Defense Minister Tandi Modise recently stated, the Americans "threaten Africa because of everything that smells of Russia," then what can we say about Russian warships at the southern tip of the continent.

Joint exercises were already held in 2019, and all three countries are members of the BRICS, but the West seems to be discovering a new reality for itself for the first time: the non-Western world is increasingly not only establishing multilateral ties in various fields, but is also building a parallel architecture of a new world order.

In trade, transport corridors, the financial system, arms trade and defense, raw materials, information security - and the initiators of the process are Russia and China. Moreover, despite the interconnectedness of their economies with the Western one, Moscow and Beijing have long since embarked on a course to reduce the dependence of their relations with the third world on global, that is, Anglo-Saxon, rules and mechanisms. And after the West tried to cut Russia out of the world economy, and threatened China with grave consequences if it followed Russia's path, the process of separating the East from the West accelerated.

Africa, which at the same time needs huge help and is the last region with unlimited potential for growth (demographic and economic), and therefore appears as a welcome ally for everyone, sees in the showdown between West and East a chance to strengthen its own weight and gain true independence. But at the same time, it would be wrong to reduce the entire African position simply to the desire to benefit from "courtship", that is, to accept investments from both sides.

After all, most African countries (if you do not take North Africa with its separate history) already have more than sixty years of independence experience - and it showed how and with whom one can deal. Despite the insolvency of a significant part of African states, the processes of formation of national elites are still going on there - and there is also an understanding of the need for integration.

Both regional and continental (within the African Union) integration has, of course, its side effects - this process can turn into the creation of a new form of neo-colonial control by the West (for example, through the EU-African Union). Financial, personnel, ideological and other forms of Western control have been preserved almost everywhere in Africa, and all attempts to build independent African integration have always been very severely suppressed (as was the case, for example, with Muammar Gaddafi , who was almost overthrown by the discontent of the West his pan-African integration efforts).

However, most African countries understand that alone they will remain puppets of external forces, and by joining forces they will get a chance for both internal development and global play.

Russia offers Africa not only economic projects, but just help in gaining real independence from Western control. That is why in France they are so dissatisfied with the penetration of the Russian PMC "Wagner" into Francophone Africa - first into the Central African Republic, then into Mali and Burkina Faso . If the local elites see that with the help of Russians (primarily instructors) it is possible not only to restore order in the country (by pinning down all sorts of separatist and rebel groups), but also to get rid of dependence on Paris, this will seriously undermine French influence in West and Central Africa.

But Russia can help not only in preparing the army and supplying weapons, but also in training personnel, building infrastructure projects, exploration and development of natural resources - many African countries remember all this from the 60s, from the time of the first Soviet campaign in Africa.

In addition, there is China (the main trading partner and creditor, with huge investments and large infrastructure projects on the continent), and the Persian Gulf monarchies (with gigantic financial opportunities). That is, with the right combination of relations with non-Western players, Africa can really "leave the West" and move forward along the path of gaining subjectivity.

This is well understood in the West as well, and they are trying to use the Ukrainian situation to put pressure on Africa. They accuse Russia of threatening the world order, of rising prices for raw materials and food - calling on the countries of the Black Continent to join Western sanctions in order to "stop the aggressor." Last week, two European - German and French - foreign ministers flew to Addis Ababa , where the headquarters of the African Union is located: Annalena Burbock and Catherine Colonna . The ladies convinced the hosts that "the African Union and Europe must stick together" because it is necessary to "stand shoulder to shoulder" against Putin, because the AU and the EU have common values, and "Europe and Africa are neighbors not only geographically,

With arguments about common values with Europe, Africans can agree only in the sense that British, French and German museums are really full of African values taken away in the course of colonial plunder. And, of course, African countries are not going to join the sanctions - moreover, Western pressure only strengthens their understanding of the importance of relations with Russia. Just during the trip of Burbock and Colonna to Ethiopia , it was announced that the second Russia-Africa summit would be held at the end of July in St. Petersburg . The first, held in Sochi in the fall of 2019 , was a major step towards Russia's return to Africa, and the second will demonstrate the desire of the Black Continent for a new, post-Western world order.

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desart.[d] Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

China-Japan-Koreas
WSJ: Many Chinese-built Infrastructure Projects Failing Worldwide
[Via Newsmax] By Solange Reyner
China is asshole. Now their clients know, too. In other words, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Many infrastructure projects worldwide funded by China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) are plagued with construction flaws, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal, adding more costs to a program criticized for its lending practices.

In Ecuador and Pakistan, officials have discovered cracks in a pair of hydroelectric plants. Uganda identified defects in the Chinese-built Isimba Hydro Power Plant and construction of a hydropower plant further down the Nile has been delayed because of various construction defects, including faulty cables, switches and a fire extinguishing system that needs to be replaced.

Locals at a social housing project in Angola are complaining about cracked walls, moldy ceilings, and poor construction.

Still, China is receiving payments from countries that borrowed money to build the projects as part of Beijing's BRI, a massive infrastructure project launched in 2013 by Chinese President Xi Jinping that aims to stretch from East Asia to Europe in a bid to boost global trade.

China has spent nearly $1 trillion in the last decade building those structures from east Asia to Europe. But some development experts say China is burdening countries with unsustainable debt as it asks for repayment.

"We know that China is very opaque about the terms of its assistance," Samantha Custer, the lead report author at AidData, a research lab at William & Mary University, told NPR. "They will include in lending contracts explicit non-disclosure clauses prohibiting the lender from saying how much was borrowed and under what terms."

The $2.7 billion Coca Codo Sinclair hydroelectric plant in Ecuador could break down quickly because of the defects.

"We could lose everything," Fabricio Yépez, an engineer at the University of San Francisco in Quito, who has closely tracked the project's problems, told the Journal. "And we don't know if it could be tomorrow or in six months."

"We are suffering today because of the bad quality of equipment and parts" in Chinese-built projects, said René Ortiz, Ecuador's former energy minister and ex-secretary general of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries.

Beijing last year reportedly revamped its troubled BRI, and Xi in 2021 noted that the international environment for BRI was becoming "increasingly complex," stressing the need to expand cooperation and strengthen risk controls.

#4  In a related scheme, when the Transcontinental Railroad was being built, both companies were throwing down anything basically they could get their hands on, as the gov’t paid them as well as signed over vast land tracts for each mile of track laid. In many cases, cottonwood ties didn’t last a year. And the gov’t was aware of this practice. As well as making circuitous routings for completing even more miles. Once the check cleared, so to speak, crews went in and did a realignment as well as replacing crappy bits.

Aruna Miller takes oath on Bhagwad Gita and radicals in US are unhappy
[OneIndia] Aruna Miller, a 58-year old Indian-American bevame the first Indian-American to be elected as the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Maryland, United States.

Aruna who took her oath of office on the Bhagwad Gita, a sacred Hindu scripture.

This has however not gone down well with radical Islamist groups such as the Indian American Moslem Council.
Known until 2010 as the Indian Muslim Council - USA, they claim to be the biggest organization of Indian Muslims in the U.S., committed to promoting peace, pluralism and social justice for all. But this is their first entry in our archives under either name. The founder of the IAMC, Sheik Ubaid, and member Abdul Malik Mujahid — appearing once in our archives as Iman Malik Mujahid, whoch I suspect contains a typo — have been heads of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) which is the US front of Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami. ICNA also has links to Lashkar-e-Tayiba.
@iamwesmoore and Lt. Governor @arunamiller. The protestors are demanding that Lt. Gov. Miller apologise for her ties to Hindutva and donate the Hindutva money received during the campaign to charities, IAMC said in a tweet.

Aruna Miller's open acceptance of the Hindu faith also did not go down too well with other radical Islamists.

Europe
Top ISIS Security Chief Masquerading As An Asylum-Seeker Arrested In The Netherlands
Useful background related to this story from last week.
[ZH] The Syrian national, who has not been identified, faces allegations he led the terror group’s security services before fleeing to Europe to claim refuge...

A Syrian asylum seeker was arrested in the Netherlands on Tuesday on suspicion of acting as one of the Islamic State’s top security chiefs during the terror cell’s infamous rise to power in the Middle East.

The 37-year-old man was arrested in the village of Arkel, approximately 40 kilometers east of Rotterdam, where he had resided since entering the Netherlands and claiming asylum back in 2019.

The suspect is believed to have been in a senior position in the security services of both the Islamic State and, prior to this, Jabhat al-Nusra, another proscribed Salafist jihadist terror group, according to the Dutch Public Prosecution Service (OM).

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf highlighted two other examples of jihadi leaders slipping into the country among the many thousands of Syrian refugees, highlighting Europe’s incredibly lax screening processes overwhelmed by the numbers who have and are still arriving from the Middle East.

One example the newspaper cites is that of Aziz al-H., known as “Balie jihadi” who entered the Netherlands in September 2017 under false papers and lived the high life in Amsterdam for over a year. Fellow Syrians recognized him as a terrorist ringleader once he started turning up at a debate center in Amsterdam, and Aziz was subsequently arrested by authorities. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

Another example involved a Syrian national arrested in Kapelle, Zeeland, in 2019. He had been leading an inconspicuous life as a bus driver before evidence was presented to authorities showing his personal involvement in the execution of a Syrian colonel on the banks of the Euphrates River. He was sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iran Guards warn EU terror label would be 'mistake'
[An Nahar] Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Saturday warned the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
against making a "mistake" by listing it as a terror group, after the bloc's parliament called for the measure.
Thereby confirming the diagnosis.
Members of the European Parliament voted on Wednesday to include the IRGC on the 27-nation bloc's terror list in "light of its terrorist activity, the repression of protesters and its supplying of drones to Russia".

The vote is non-binding but comes with EU foreign ministers already due to discuss tightening sanctions on the Islamic republic next week.

"If the Europeans make a mistake, they must accept the consequences," IRGC chief Major General Hossein Salami said, according to the Guards' Sepah News website, in his first remarks on the EU move.

The European Union "thinks that with such statements it can shake this huge army," Salami said.

"We are never worried about such threats or even acting on them, because as much as our enemies give us a chance to act, we act stronger," he added.

The Guards oversee the volunteer Basij paramilitary force, which has been deployed against protests since mid-September triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini, 22, after her arrest for allegedly violating Iran's dress code for women.

Authorities in Iran
...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979...
say hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed and thousands arrested in the unrest.

The Guards, formed shortly after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, answer to Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
and boast their own ground, naval and air forces.

The United States has already placed both the IRGC and its foreign arm, the Quds Force, on its list of "foreign terrorist organizations."

Salami's comments came as he received Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, a former commander of the Guards air force.

"We in the parliament are ready to deal firmly with any action that tries to harm the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and distort the truth," Ghalibaf was quoted as saying by Sepah News.

Boy, 6, who shot teacher at Virginia school 'previously threatened to burn and kill another teacher, barricaded doors and threw furniture - but elementary school dismissed complaints

  • Other teachers complained to Richneck Elementary that he was violent

  • He sent one a note saying he hated her and wanted to watch her 'burn and die'

The family claimed in a statement released to the press via an attorney that he has an 'acute disability' which means he is requires him to be accompanied in the classroom by a parent.

On the day in question, he had been allowed to attend school alone, taking with him a 9mm handgun that his family legally owns.

Executive Order 13526
[Archives.gov] There has been a lot said about whether the VP has authority to declassify material, given the docs found in Biden's houses and offices. The link is the the 2009 executive order on this. Unfortunately, the only Congressional action, namely 18 USC 1924 doesn't really cover the issue of who may classify and who may declassify.

Thus the executive has been in control of this.

EO 13526 is an extensive piece, complicated and yet, not entirely clear.

It is clear on the fact that the V-POTUS has the same power to classify as the POTUS, but it is not clear on whether that extends to declassification especially given that there are so many classification standards and levels.

1. The 'declassification' process is not completely clear. Can the POTUS say, "I'm unclassifying this" and it is done or does the POTUS have to sign something and does the 'something' have to specify what is being declassified and if so, how specific.

2. Anything the WH does and says at this point tends to destroy the entire case against Trump. So they want to minimize what they do and say.

Israeli settler kills Palestinian at West Bank farm
[An Nahar] An Israeli settler rubbed out a Paleostinian Saturday at a settler farm in the occupied West Bank after an attempted stabbing, the military said, the latest incident as violence surges in the territory.

An assailant tried to knife an Israeli settler during the "attempted stabbing attack" at Sde Efraim farm northwest of Ramallah, it said.

"The terrorist was neutralized," the army added, confirming to AFP that a settler rubbed out the Paleostinian.
Efficiently done, without even involving the IDF or the police.
No one else was maimed in the incident, the army statement said.

An AFP photographer saw Israeli forces preventing a Paleostinian ambulance from accessing the site.
The knifeman should have killed a Palestinian if he wanted ambulance service. Let that be a lesson to all others who harbour similar ambitions — the live ones, anyway. Once they’re dead they aren’t likely to be nearly as concerned.
The Paleostinian health ministry said 42-year-old Tariq Maali was killed "after the occupation (Israel) opened fire on him"
What — all of it?
near the Paleostinian village of Kafr Nama.

According to Israeli anti-settlement movement Peace Now,
...more properly understood as straightforwardly anti-Israel...
the farm is known as a wildcat settlement, an outpost not recognised by Israel.

All settlements are deemed illegal under international law, which Israel disputes.
The Palestinians and their supporters keep saying that, as if repetition will make it correct.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to pursue a policy of increased settlement expansion in the West Bank, and ultra-Orthodox Jewish parties in his coalition advocate the annexation of some of the territory.
You know, if the Palestinians were to quickly sign a peace treaty with Israel, like Egypt, Jordan, and the Abraham Accord countries have done, they could include a clause requiring Israel to move back behind the border. Then this kind of problem will go away completely. Unfortunately for the Palestinians and their misunderstanding of international law, the Palestinians refuse to even start seriously negotiate the thing.
The shooting brings to 18 the number of Paleostinians killed so far this month in the West Bank, according to an AFP tally which includes Death Eaters and civilians.

The inauguration in December of the most right-wing government in Israel's history, led by Netanyahu, has sparked fears of a military escalation in the Paleostinian territory occupied by Israel since the 1967 Six-Day War.
If they’re that concerned, they ought to quickly stop doing things to provoke the new prime minister to escalate.
The majority of the 18 Paleostinians killed this year were rubbed out by Israeli forces.

The qualifications and sanity of doctors and employees of the military enlistment office are also under a big question.

TSA 'no fly' list leaked after being found on unsecured airline server
[FoxBusinessNews] 'No Fly' list leaked by hacker reportedly contains 1.5 million entries and includes notable names linked to terrorist activities.

A foreign hacker obtained an old copy of the U.S. government's Terrorist Screening Database and "no fly" list from an unsecured server belonging to a commercial airline.

The Swiss hacker known as "maia arson crimew" blogged Thursday that she discovered the Transportation Security Administration "no fly" list from 2019 and a trove of data belonging to CommuteAir on an unsecured Amazon Web Services cloud server used by the airline.
Wasn’t there something about the DoD using them? I seem to recall Amazon staff being very upset at the idea.
The hacker told The Daily Dot the list appeared to have more than 1.5 million entries. The data reportedly included names and birthdates of various individuals who have been barred from air travel by the government due to suspected or known ties to terrorist organizations. The Daily Dot reported that the list contains multiple aliases, so the number of unique individuals on the list is far less at 1.5 million.

Noteworthy individuals reported to be on the list include Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, who was recently freed by the Biden administration in exchange for WNBA star Brittney Griner, and suspected members of the IRA and others, according to The Daily Dot.

"It’s just crazy to me how big that terrorism screening database is, and yet there is still very clear trends towards almost exclusively Arabic and Russian sounding names throughout the million entries," crimew told the outlet.
Imagine that...
Reached for comment, a TSA spokesman said the agency is "aware of a potential cybersecurity incident, and we are investigating in coordination with our federal partners."

In a statement to FOX Business, CommuteAir confirmed the legitimacy of the hacked "no fly" list and data that contained private information about the company's employees.

"CommuteAir was notified by a member of the security research community who identified a misconfigured development server," said Erik Kane, corporate communications manager for CommuteAir. "The researcher accessed files, including an outdated 2019 version of the federal no-fly list that included first and last name and date of birth. Additionally, through information found on the server, the researcher discovered access to a database containing personal identifiable information of CommuteAir employees.

"Based on our initial investigation, no customer data was exposed," Kane added. Special Interests Intervene in South Dakota in Attempt to Slow Noem's Proposal Restricting Chinese Land Purchases
Another 'cooperative'.
South Dakota Association of Cooperatives

[Breitbart] A coalition of special interests and industry representatives has emerged to try to stop South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem from passing a measure that would restrict the ability of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or other foreign entities to purchase land in her state, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

Noem’s proposal, introduced last month ahead of this year’s legislative session, would create a state-level version of the federal Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Titled CFIUS-South Dakota, Noem’s vision is to create a board that can review and then block any foreign entity’s proposal to purchase land in South Dakota. The measure has support in both the state House and the state Senate, and is likely to be considered this legislative session, which has a short window between now and the beginning of March, when the South Dakota legislature has its regular session.

As the measure has gained support, given the wide-scale popularity of any push to block China from buying American farmland, her idea has taken off nationwide as other governors in other states consider similar measures. Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott, for instance, has said he would sign a similar idea into law after a lawmaker in the statehouse introduced a proposal to that effect. Former President Donald Trump, meanwhile, has as part of his early 2024 presidential campaign policy videos rolled out a federal proposal to block China from buying American farmland.

But in South Dakota, special interest groups are racing to slow Noem’s rollout in South Dakota, with a consortium of special interests expressing concerns with her proposed legislation. An email sent by Brenda Forman of the South Dakota Association of Cooperatives to Noem’s legal team in mid-January, obtained by Breitbart News, notes that “agricultural groups” have reviewed an updated version of Noem’s bill and “are deeply concerned about the legality and constitutionality of the proposal.”

“We remain interested in identifying what is not working with our current law,” Forman adds, without providing any specifics about any legal or constitutional concerns these groups her organization represents have.

Forman has not replied to a request for comment for details on any specific concerns, and has also not answered if any of the organizations her umbrella group is representing have any pending or possible looming sales of land to Chinese or other foreign interests.

But the email ends with a list of the groups Forman says are concerned about the Noem proposal, including SD Farm Bureau, SD Farmer Union, SD AgriBusiness Association, SD Cattlemen’s Association, SD Corn Grower Association, SD Dairy Producers, SD Pork Producers, SD Soybean Association, SD Stockgrowers Association, SD Wheat Growers Association, and the SD Association of Conservation Districts, in addition to her SD Association of Cooperatives.

What all of this signals is an uncertain future for this proposal from Noem in the legislature as this session proceeds—these special interests have enormous sway over lawmakers in a state like South Dakota—and possibly an uncertain legal future if the proposal does make it into law. Even so, Noem’s novel effort—which as noted is an idea that is gaining traction nationally—is sure to catch on as quickly as did a previous anti-China push to ban the use of TikTok on state devices that she led. Noem was first out of the gate on that, and it caught fire nationally with dozens of governors engaging in similar efforts and even the U.S. Congress late last year adopting a proposal from Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) to do it at the federal level.

“With this new process, we will be able to prevent nations who hate us – like Communist China – from buying up our state’s agriculture land,” Noem said in her release on Dec. 13 announcing the legislation creating CFIUS-SD. “We cannot allow the Chinese Communist Party to continue to buy up our nation’s food supply, so South Dakota will lead the charge on this vital national security issue.”

White House: Raising U.S. debt ceiling 'not negotiable'
[UPI] President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter, close friend of an imaginary negro named Corn Pop. He blames Trump for losing Afghanistan....
"looks forward" to meeting with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy
...the GOP house majority whip. He replaces Eric Cantor, who got whupped because his politix are like Kevin McCarthy's...
to discuss a range of issues but will not negotiate on raising the U.S. debt ceiling, the White House says.
“Don’t call my bluff.”
House Republicans led by McCarthy have indicated they will seek deep spending cuts before agreeing to raise the debt ceiling, a procedural move which is needed for the federal government to meet its existing debt obligations.

The United States hit its national debt limit of $31.4 trillion Thursday and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen notified congressional leaders that she is implementing "extraordinary measures" to meet those payments.
Pushing off paying bills and playing money games to maximize returns on cash, stopping spending on a lengthening list of optional spending... there are lots of things the federal government can do while the money temporarily stops coming in.
McCarthy in a Tweet posted Friday said he is willing to meet with Bident to "discuss a responsible debt ceiling increase to address irresponsible government spending," but White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre afterwards reiterated there would be "no negotiations" on whether or not to raise the debt ceiling.

Russia has 'significantly' more than 100,000 casualties in Ukraine: US Gen. Milley
See also Strategy Page analysis here.
[NYPOST] Russian forces have incurred "significantly well over 100,000" casualties and endured "a huge amount" of suffering since Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine began nearly 11 months ago, the top US general said Friday.

"The numbers of casualties in war are always suspect," Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley told news hounds in Germany. "But I would tell you that the Russian casualties, the last time I reported out publicly [in November] I said it was well over 100,000. I would say it’s significantly well over 100,000 now."

Milley did not estimate Ukraine’s military losses, but in November he suggested that Ukraine had lost roughly the same amount of forces as Russia.

On Tuesday, Ukraine’s armed forces released a tally stating that 116,950 Russian troops had been "eliminated." If true, that would mean more Russian forces have died in combat in Ukraine than the number of American forces who died of all causes during World War I.

Milley also predicted Friday that Europe’s largest conflict since the Second World War would end in mediation as both sides struggle to come to grips with manpower losses.

"This is a very, very bloody war, and there’s significant casualties on both sides," he said. "This is why I say that I think that sooner or later this is going to have to get to the negotiating table at some point in order to bring this to a conclusion."

Report: Gay Couple Accused of Pimping Adopted Sons to Local Pedophiles
[Breitbart] Details have emerged about the gay couple in Georgia who allegedly sodomized their adopted sons and used them to make child porn, according to an investigation.

Townhall reported Tuesday:

Not only did the married men allegedly rape the two boys who were adopted through a Christian special-needs adoption agency, they were pimping out their children to nearby pedophiles in Atlanta-area suburbs, Townhall’s follow-up investigation discovered.

…The adoptive fathers, 33-year-old government worker William Dale Zulock Jr. and 35-year-old banker Zachary “Zack” Jacoby Zulock—who was previously accused of raping a child—from Oxford, Georgia, have been indicted by a grand jury on charges of incest, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, felony sexual exploitation of children, and felony prostitution of a minor.

Both men have reportedly pleaded not guilty in the case.

The adoptive parents are accused of performing oral sex on the boys, forcing them to give them oral sex, and anally raping the children.

The outlet noted that in one instance, anal rape injured the older child who is 11 years old.

During a midnight bust in July at their home, authorities tackled Zachary to the ground and dragged William, who was naked, outside, according to the report.

The Walton County’s Division of Family and Child Services was alerted to the situation and the need to protect the children, Local 12 reported August 7, adding the children were placed in custody and safe at the time.

Townhall cited a criminal affidavit that said Zachary filmed the child sexual abuse of the 11 year old.

“The indictment also charges the Zulock co-defendants with soliciting two other men, through the use of popular social media platforms, in the Greater Atlanta metropolitan region to ‘perform an act of prostitution’ with their child that suffered physical injuries from being brutally raped,” the outlet continued.

The alleged members of the pedophile ring are Loganville residents identified as Hunter Clay Lawless, 27, and Luis Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, 25.

After the couple was taken into custody, their assets were seized, and their mansion was deemed property of the state, according to the couple’s criminal defense attorney, John E. Haldi.

According to a family member, the home, decorated with LGBTQ themed items, has multiple surveillance cameras and a windowless room behind a moveable bookcase. The family apparently used another windowless room as a home theater.

Video footage from August shows the outside of the home with a sign on the door that reads, “Do not enter. Property of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. Do not enter.”

During a recent interview, Townhall reporter Mia Cathell said, “As family observed, their lavish lifestyle just materialized out of the blue about a year after they adopted these boys.”

Cathell added the next installment of her investigation will reveal more details about the adoption agency involved and “how a same-sex couple was able to receive services from them.”

Poland is getting used to the idea of the defeat of the Kyiv regime
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] Until recently, Polish politicians, experts and journalists "radiated" confidence in the "defeat" of Moscow. Now more and more voices are being heard that "Ukraine has no chance of winning on the battlefield." So what has changed?

New winds have blown in Poland. At first, the former commander of the Polish Ground Forces, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, admitted in an interview with the pro-government portal wPolityce that “Ukraine has no chance of winning on the battlefield," anti-Russian sanctions are ineffective, since “Russia is rebuilding its army."

Following him, the superiority of Russia in economic, human and military resources in an interview with the government Polish Press Agency was recognized by the current Chief of the General Staff of Poland, General Raimund Andrzejczak.

Finally, speaking to reporters in Davos, Polish President Andrzej Duda stated that Russia "is simply crushing the Ukrainian defense". But until recently, Polish politicians, experts and journalists "radiated" confidence in the "defeat" of Moscow.

So what has changed?

Outwardly, it might seem that Warsaw is playing a simple two-move game on the eve of the meeting of the contact group on Ukraine scheduled for January 20-21 at the US base in Ramstein, trying to put pressure on Berlin, which is required to transfer heavy German Leopard tanks to the Kyiv regime and allow 15 countries to do the same who have them in service. However, there were certain inconsistencies here. Firstly, the information campaign itself, linking the fate of the Kyiv regime with German tanks, looked hypertrophied.

After all, the main supplier of weapons, Washington has already announced the allocation of new military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $2.5 billion, which also includes the dispatch of armored vehicles. At the same time, the United States refuses to transfer its Abrams tanks to Ukraine, considering this an excessive measure. If, in the opinion of Warsaw, this is not enough,

Apparently, it's something else.

The political component of the intrigue with Leopard was hinted at by Duda, who admitted that Warsaw promised to introduce German tanks into the game at the request of Kyiv. At least for those Leopards owned by the Polish army.

"And the Ukrainian prime minister turned to our prime minister, and President Zelensky turned directly to me a week ago during a meeting in Lviv, so that these tanks would be handed over and such an action would be started," Duda said.

"We promised to fulfill this request and we did." However, after the stubbornness of Berlin, unwilling to raise the stakes in the Ukrainian conflict, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczakno longer talks about the Polish Leopard, announcing the shipment to the Kyiv regime of the last remaining Soviet tanks T-72 (30–40 units) and BMP-1 (80–100 units) left by the Poles. It seems that Warsaw is not sure that the United States will be able to break through the resistance of Germany, since, according to the newspaper Rzeczpospolita, Berlin intends to "remain in the shadows" in order to be ready for negotiations with Moscow at any time, since "wars do not end on the battlefield."

The Polish president also agrees with the last thesis. No one can currently predict when the "war in Ukraine" will end, Duda says, and no one knows what the "final outcome" will be. For Warsaw, this is one of the key questions, how it will get out of the Ukrainian conflict and with what.

Thus, according to the Chief of the General Staff of Poland, after 70 years of existence, NATO is shifting its center of gravity. « During the Cold War, the main area of strategic attention was Germany and the Fulda Gap”, and now the “center of gravity” has moved to Warsaw.

And, let's add from ourselves, we can add the Suwalki corridor to it, connecting Poland with the Baltic states and capable of reuniting Belarus with the Kaliningrad region. Therefore, Andrzejczak focuses on the position of Minsk, assessing the likely outcome of the Ukrainian conflict in terms of security not only for Poland, but also for the so-called eastern flank of NATO in particular and the North Atlantic Alliance as a whole.

In this context, Polish military strategists can recommend to their politicians that they take into account the possibility of the collapse of the Kyiv regime in order, under this pretext, to demand in NATO to strengthen Poland as a “center of gravity” in the eastern direction, allowing for the possibility of a “drop” by the alliance of the Baltic states.

However, for Warsaw, the "Ukrainian problem" is not only external, but also internal. The presence of millions of Ukrainian refugees in Poland is a potential threat, especially if several million more migrants are added to those already available after the fall of the Kyiv regime. Polish experts fear social destabilization in the country when “ a new wave of refugees, larger than before" arrives, since "the reaction of Polish society may turn out to be completely different than it has been for the past year. In this regard, Skshipchak's initiative to create a "Ukrainian army in exile" and the forced mobilization of Ukrainians living in Poland looks curious in this regard.

In fact, the general proposes to make Poland as uncomfortable as possible for Ukrainian immigrants, to squeeze them out of the country further to the West. As a means of defusing the "Ukrainian loaded gun" - a completely acceptable solution, after which Warsaw could return with renewed vigor to its former "favorite" activity - the search for its place in Eastern and Central Europe.

The West launches Operation Barbarossa-2 against Russia
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Elena Karaeva

[RIA] Those who gathered yesterday at the US base in German Ramstein - regardless of the name of this meeting of representatives of fifty countries that are part of the anti-Russian army coalition - discussed a plan to start full-scale military operations against our country. As soon as possible.

The participants in the discussion could call themselves at least the "Consultative Group", at least the "Association of Gardeners and Gardeners" - the essence of the decisions made does not change. This is a declaration of war. And without any reservations and practically without any restrictions that could relate to the use of certain types of weapons.

To call the actions of the coalition troops (and it doesn’t matter the presence or absence of the regular military of the North Atlantic Alliance directly in the clash zone in the area of the special operation carried out by Russia) the beginning of the war is both legitimate and justified, if you look at the list of future supplies to Ukraine . There is simply no non-heavy and non-offensive weapons.

The American military-industrial complex and its helmsmen - the Pentagon and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (analogous to the General Staff) - no longer have any containment centers, alternatives, and, most importantly, no choice.

The goal is to accomplish what the Reich coalition failed to do in the 40s, what NATO failed to do after the war, unleashing an arms race to weaken the Soviet economy, to which they added a powerful propaganda cold war. And, it seemed, having destroyed the USSR , they were closer than ever to the destruction of our country, breaking it up into republics and unleashing civil strife, setting fire here and there. But they miscalculated.

New Russia managed to get out of the noose (and she was already hanging on the gallows, uttering death rattles) to wriggle out. And not just get out, but practically rebuild the country (for the umpteenth time). Bringing, albeit not as fat as those who tried to annihilate us, prosperity, stability and confidence in the future.

Ramstein's pro-sessions, who are well aware that there will be no fourth time, act as if there were no previous attempts.

The Americans, and they, of course, conduct this cotillion of petty and vindictive characters, alas, are poorly aware of both our history and the history of those battles in which the USSR won.

In Ramstein they are betting on a blitzkrieg, thinking that armored power is capable of crushing Russia. It can be almost unmistakable that this blitzkrieg will look something like this: "The main forces of the Russian ground forces must be destroyed by bold actions penetrating far into the territory of tank wedges, preventing the withdrawal of combat-ready enemy troops deep into the country.

Through the rapid advance of the troops, you need to reach the line, from - behind which the Russian Air Force will not be able to carry out raids on objects in the territory. The ultimate goal of the operation is to create a shield.<...> During this operation, the Russian <...> fleet will be quickly deprived of its bases and, accordingly, will not be able to continue to take part in hostilities. An effective intervention by the Russian Air Force must be prevented from the very beginning of the operation by powerful attacks against them."

This is (with corrections appropriate to the moment) a quote from the blitzkrieg plan developed in 1940, which became the main part of Operation Barbarossa. It reads almost like today's correspondence following consultations at the Ramstein base.

In the same directive part of the operation, a special role was assigned to tank subunits. It was on them that the leadership of those gathered in Ramstein - oh, excuse me, the command of the Wehrmacht - assigned the main role in breaking through the line of defense of Russian troops on the line of clash to provide, as they say among the military, "operational space" for the offensive.

“Push-pull” with German persuasion to supply its “Leopards” as military aid to Ukraine is not a performance for the public (until, however, a decision has been made), it’s just that without this type of weaponry, the offensive may bog down.

According to the same military doctrine more than 80 years ago, from which NATO dusted off, first light tanks are used to reconnoiter the terrain and repel possible attacks (the same AMX-10RC that Macron intends to supply to Kyiv), and then they use heavy - with powerful armor and weapons, but slow in battle.

Sounds worrying? Undoubtedly. Look scary? Exclusively for those involved in blitzkrieg planning. "Swift war" - not because they are stronger than us and outnumber us. Not at all. The West is in a hurry because the chief conductor of the current military campaign against Russia is running out of time. A few more weeks - and the United States will plunge (at first partially, and then in full) into a new election cycle, and those who make political decisions will definitely not be up to Ukraine. This is the first.

Second. A defeat in a proxy (let's keep the hypocrisy so honored on the banks of the Potomac) war with Russia, the main geopolitical adversary, will destroy all chances of the current owner of the White House for re-election. The Congress, which is already under the control of the Republicans, will begin what is usually done in America with political rivals - investigations of various levels, and there you can collect materials for impeachment.

Third. Time is running out for the contributors as well. That is, Europeans. That is, those who, we recall, were released at least twice by Russia. By chasing Napoleon all the way to the Elbe, not forgetting to visit Paris at the same time, and exterminating the brown Nazi plague, destroying Hitlerism in his lair.

In both cases, at the cost of the lives of millions. To our great sorrow.
But as a result, France lost the army and ambitions of the conquering country (wheeled tanks and self-propelled guns "Caesar" - the military maximum that Paris is able to provide today), and Germany, despite the warlike words, is unlikely to agree, knowing how such games end, send their "Leopards" to fight with Russian tankers.

Fourth. United Europe today will not be able to afford to walk around the military canteen without denying itself anything, since the canteen is no longer the same, and there is no money for it. Macron's statements about increasing defense spending by 2030 to 400 billion euros have about the same weight as a fairy tale about a promise to teach a donkey to speak. Words are good, but deeds will not follow them.

But, taking into account all these facts and factors, you need to understand that the fight will be the most severe, that the armored fist with which they are preparing to strike at us will have to be destroyed, albeit calmly, patiently, knowing that the fate of the country is being decided. No more, but no less. That the result would be a world in which our interests and our security concerns had to be paid, as always, with our own blood.

It is not known what those gathered in Ramstein thought about this, but it is safe to say that their current blitzkrieg - with Leopards and Caesars - will be broken. And not only by the strength of Russian weapons and the famous Russian military spirit, but also because we studied the science of winning not at meetings and building the Maginot Line, but on the battlefield.

This practice is not bought from the budget, especially since it is impossible to pay for it with other people's money. Those who wish to familiarize themselves with such accounting can again study the history of the defeats of our enemies. And to get acquainted with the history of our triumphs on the battlefield.

International-UN-NGOs
Medical profession implements WHO digital diagnosis code for the unvaxxed
[LeoHohmann] A set of international codes are used by the medical industry for billing purposes under Medicare-Medicaid and the private insurance companies, but it’s not just about billing.

These codes are part of the International Classification of Disease (ICD) system set forth by the United Nations World Health Organization and they’re about to get far more invasive.

This system was originally created after World War II for the purpose of tracking the diagnosis of major diseases within a population. But over the years, there have been 11 major revisions, and with each revision the data being collected on each individual has become more precise and all-inclusive.

More than 1.6 million clinical situations can now be coded, according to the WHO website.

And it’s also become more coercive, to the point where it’s become impossible for doctors to get reimbursed by insurance companies if they don’t upload all the requested data points.

According to an April 2016 article in the American Journal of Neuroradiology, "Across the years, it has become an integral part of the payment infrastructure of the U.S. healthcare system along with the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding system for medical procedures."

The ICD system really grew into an electronic data-mining beast with the passage by Congress of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) in 2012.
So many bad things trace back to that.
The digitization of healthcare records was fully implemented with the upgrade to ICD-10 after two congressional delays in 2016.

Since then, there has literally been a numeric code created for almost any diagnosis you can think of, and some you would never think of (Search "crazy ICD-10 codes" and you will see what I’m talking about).

Fast forward now to April 2022. This is when the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) announced a new code that anyone who is awake and aware of the growing medical tyranny should be concerned about. After some delays, the new code was rolled out in October 2022 and became available to nearly every medical clinic and hospital in January 2023.

What is this new code? It’s Code Number Z28.310. This is the code for a very peculiar "diagnosis" since it’s not a diagnosis at all, but an invasion of privacy and likely to be used against many people in the future. This is the code your doctor will log into the computer system that is accessed by government and private health insurers informing them of your Covid vaccine status.

#3  From the article:

“A lot of people with schizophrenia are paranoid of shots and different treatments, so his doctors were attributing him (as unvaxxed) on that basis,” the doctor said.

So it doesn’t take too much of an imagination to see how this system could be abused.

What about if you continually refuse your doctor-recommended vaccines? Could you end up being diagnosed with mental illness? The doctor I spoke with agreed that this is not far-fetched. And once you get diagnosed with a mental disorder, you can lose many of your constitutional rights. You essentially become a second-class citizen.

Britain ready to supply Ukraine with ATACMS analogues
[Espreso UA] British officials are more open to providing Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles than the US.

CNN reported the information.

On January 18, Pentagon Deputy Chief of Staff Colin Kahl said that the US adheres to the "agree to disagree" position regarding the supply of ATACMS to Ukraine.

Taking this into consideration, British officials are more open to supplying similar systems. CNN adds that these discussions are taking place "quietly" because Britain does not want to appear separate from its allies.

CNN notes that Ukrainian officials have asked London to take a more leading role in this matter.

Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: January 21st, 2023
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] 22:57 The next meeting in the Ramstein format will be held in February 2023 and will be dedicated to aviation support for Ukraine, Andriy Sibiga, Deputy Head of the President's Office, said.

21:32 Sea King helicopters from the UK have already arrived in Ukraine, Reznikov said. "This is a powerful reinforcement for the Ukrainian Navy. Our cooperation will expand," the minister added.

19:47 In the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy is trying to test the strength of the Ukrainian defense, said Yevgeny Yerin, spokesman for the Defense Forces of the Tauride direction. According to him, in some sectors of the front, small groups of invaders are trying to take shock and assault actions, but all their attempts were unsuccessful.

19:16 The Russians are conducting unsuccessful offensive operations in the Avdiivka direction, continue to attempt an offensive in the Bakhmut and Zaporozhye directions, and are increasing the intensity of the use of aviation. In other directions, the enemy is on the defensive, the General Staff reported in the evening summary.

In the Kherson region, the occupiers are strengthening control over the registration of the civilian population - in particular, they are trying to create a database of the place of residence of civilians. Threatening to cut off electricity, under the guise of implementing an "energy saving program," the so-called "authority" forces people to sign "acts confirming the actual place of residence of a citizen."

18:44 Forcing the topic of the threat of an attack on Ukraine from Belarus is a Russian information and psychological operation, said the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Andrey Yusov: "Of course, we know everything about the dictator Lukashenka, about the regime in Belarus. But there are objective things: the number of strike force, readiness forces and means and other points that allow us to assert that as of today there is no threat from Belarus of a full-scale ground operation, its participation on the side of Russia.

Yusov promised that if the situation changes, "there will be relevant information," and assured that Ukraine is ready and has worked out all the scenarios.

18:32 In the Nikolaev region in the Vitovsky district near the village of Lyubomirovka, a civilian car was blown up by a mine: four people were injured, among them a baby aged three weeks, Anna Zamazeeva, chairman of the Nikolaev regional council, said.

17:43 Cyprus is ready to transfer T-80U tanks to Ukraine if it is supplied with Leopard 2 instead. According to Army Recognition, the country's Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulidis made such a proposal to the German Chancellor's foreign affairs and security adviser Jens Plettner. Cyprus is armed with 82 vehicles of this type. Germany has not yet responded.

16:55 The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that anti-aircraft gunners with S-300 were training in the Moscow region to repel "air attacks on important military, industrial and administrative facilities" with electronic launches.

14:57 The Foreign Ministers of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, in a joint statement, called on Germany not to delay the decision on the Leopard tanks, but right now to grant permission for their transfer to Ukraine.

13:38 Russian troops have stepped up the use of reconnaissance drones, which may indicate that they are preparing for new missile strikes, Natalya Gumenyuk, speaker of OK Pivden, said.

12:31 American intelligence estimates Russia's losses in Ukraine in killed and wounded at 188 thousand people, writes The Sun.
That’s an awful lot of men not making Russian babies...
According to the publication, this is exactly the number that was announced to the allies at a meeting in Ramstein on January 20. The Sun cites the words of the American General Mark Milley that the Russian Federation suffered huge losses, including the armed forces and a group of mercenaries from Wagner.

11:47 Ukrainian tankers will soon begin training on Challenger 2 tanks in the UK. Ukrainian Ambassador Vadym Prystaiko said it would not take long, as British instructors say the Ukrainian military is motivated and learns very quickly. According to the ambassador, the tanks are already being prepared for shipment to Ukraine.

11:26 SBU conducts counterintelligence activities on the territory of the Desnyansky district of the capital, in particular in the Lesnoy residential area and in the surrounding areas The goal is to strengthen counter-sabotage protection of critical infrastructure and increase the safety of citizens.

11:22 In the Zaporozhye region, as a result of Russian shelling, one person died in the city of Hulyaipole, two were injured as a result of the shelling of Orekhov, said the head of the OVA Alexander Starukh.

11:17 British intelligence believes that the military conflict in Ukraine has reached a dead end, but there is a real possibility of a local Russian offensive around Bakhmut.

Analysts recall that in recent days, the most fierce battles were fought in three sectors. In the northeast, near Kreminna, Ukraine probably made little progress and defended itself against a Russian counterattack. In the Bakhmut sector, Russian proxy forces and Wagner PMCs are likely to regroup in Soledar after its capture earlier in the week. In the south, in the Zaporozhye region, both sides concentrated significant forces that exchanged fire, but avoided large-scale offensive actions.

11:09 Electricity consumption in Ukraine on January 21 is predicted at the level of yesterday. The power shortage remains significant, Ukrenergo reports. Reduced consumption limits for the whole day have been brought to all oblenergos.

09:44 The tenth package of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation will be ready for the anniversary of a full-scale invasion, Reuters reports, citing senior diplomats from three EU countries.

09:32 The countries of the international coalition, which introduced the maximum price for Russian oil, have agreed to set two maximum prices for oil products from the Russian Federation, the US Treasury said. One marginal price is for petroleum products typically sold at a premium to the price of crude oil, such as diesel or gasoline, and a second marginal price is for products that are sold at a discount to the price of crude oil, such as heating oil.

09:23 In the Kherson region over the past day, four people were injured: two were blown up by a Russian mine, among them a 16-year-old guy, two more were injured due to attacks by the Russian army, among them a guy of 15 years old, said the head of the OVA Yaroslav Yanushevich.

09:20 The Russians continue shelling the border settlements of the Kupyansky, Chuguevsky and Kharkov regions. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed, four were injured, including a seven-year-old child, Oleg Sinegubov, head of the OVA, said.

09:17 In the Donetsk region over the past day, as a result of Russian shelling, three civilians were killed - two in Bakhmut and one in Zhelanny. Four more people were injured in the region, Pavel Kirilenko, head of the OVA, said.

08:49 The General Staff announced the approximate losses of the enemy as of the morning of January 21.

  • personnel - about 120,160 (+860) people liquidated,

  • tanks - 3140 (+1),

  • armored combat vehicles - 6256 (+15),

  • artillery systems - 2135 (+6),

  • MLRS - 443 (+1),

  • air defense systems - 220 (+0),

  • aircraft - 287 (+0),

  • helicopters - 277 (+0),

  • UAV operational-tactical level - 1891 (+5),

  • cruise missiles - 749 (+0),

  • ships/boats - 17 (+0),

  • automotive equipment and tankers - 4918 (+15),

  • special equipment - 193 (+3).

08:27 Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repulsed the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Novoselovskoe, Ploshchanka and Chervonopopovka of the Lugansk region and Belogorovka, Razdolovka, Vasyukovka, Krasnaya Gora, Yagodnoye, Bakhmut, Predtechino, Vodiane and Maryinka of the Donetsk region, the General Staff said in the morning report .

There are certain enemy units in the Volyn, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions in the border regions with Ukraine, but no enemy offensive groupings have been found. Forces and means of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, transferred to Belarus, are actively conducting reconnaissance of objects of neighboring states, including Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, more than 300 wounded invaders are being treated only in the surgical department of the city hospital of Starobelsk, Luhansk region. In the Kherson region, the occupiers use not only overcrowded medical facilities to treat the wounded, but also kindergartens converted into field hospitals. Also, in the central hospital of the settlement of Nizhniye Serogozy, all doctors have been replaced - now only personnel of the Russian troops are being treated there. A similar situation developed in Kalanchak, where local doctors were fired and medical personnel from Crimea were brought in to replace them. Residents are not allowed to visit the hospital.

07:23 Reznikov said in an interview with Voice of America that Ukraine has agreed to train its tank crews on German Leopard 2 tanks, although there is no decision yet on their provision: "There is a breakthrough - this is an opportunity for countries that own Leopard 2 to start training missions, courses for our tank crews. We will start with this, and then we will move on."

06:35 The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) believes that Russia is installing air defense systems in Moscow as part of preparing the population for a protracted war against Ukraine. According to analysts, air defense in the Russian capital is necessary for the authorities "for the picture" in order to frighten the population and mobilize them for war.

Also, this display of air defense systems is likely part of a nascent campaign to promote a series of analogies to World War II combat operations, when air defenses were installed throughout Moscow.

Analysts point out that the Kremlin continues to promote information campaigns to weaken support for Ukraine from Western countries, while continuing mobilization activities in parallel, despite numerous statements about the completion of mobilization.

04:02 In Japan, training of Ukrainian sappers starts on January 22, Kyodo reports. The country's authorities also decided to transfer four mine detectors made in Japan to Kyiv and instruct them in their use. In addition, the Japanese authorities intend to send their specialists to Poland over the next few months to continue training Ukrainian sappers.

From January 15 to 20, the Cambodian authorities, with the support of the Japanese government, held events in the kingdom to train eight Ukrainian demining specialists.

02:12 The United States submitted to the UN Security Council Committee on sanctions against North Korea evidence of Pyongyang's supply of weapons to the Russian PMC Wagner, which uses it in the war in Ukraine. John Kirby, spokesman for the White House National Security Council, said the November 18 satellite imagery showed five Russian railroad cars leaving Russia for North Korea. The next day, North Korea loaded these railway wagons, containers, after which the train returned to Russia.

Russia's Energy Clout Is Waning, Weakening Its Global Influence -- WSJ
Here at Rantburg we’ve been watching new oil and natural gas discoveries coming on line over the past year, and even more getting ready to go on line in the next few years, which will continue reducing the impact of both Russia and the major OPEC producers… and even the impact of President Biden choking off American production.
[BlackBullMarket] Russian President Vladimir Putin's use of energy as a weapon of financial war is increasingly backfiring, threatening the core of Russia's beleaguered economy and curtailing its geopolitical influence.

Western sanctions, falling prices for Russian fossil fuels and strategic miscalculations are hurting the country's oil-and-gas industry while the war in Ukraine is poised to stretch into a second year. Ultimately, the strain will erode Moscow's status as an energy superpower, according to analysts and former energy officials and executives.

Russia hoped cutting off natural gas would cause Europe to freeze and weaken its support for Kyiv, officials on the continent say. Warm weather and ample supplies from other producers have derailed that effort so far, sending energy prices down to prewar levels.

The Russian oil industry, meanwhile, is having trouble adapting to a European Union embargo and a U.S.-led price cap on its crude. A Kremlin threat to cut supplies in response failed to boost prices and hasn't materialized, showing Russia's weakened hand.

Russia has diverted much of the oil that went to Europe, but in doing so it has replaced an array of buyers with two big importers: China and India. Refiners there command low prices, in part because delivering farther afield raises shipping rates.

With gas, Russia needs to build huge pipelines eastward to sell all the fuel that used to head to Europe. That would take years. And in the long run, lost access to technology and Western know-how will likely undermine production potential as Soviet-era oil-and-gas fields dwindle.

All these issues will potentially be magnified when a fresh round of sanctions goes into effect next month.

Governor should have acted before hand by calling forth the militia and to bring at least 200 rounds and three days hard rations with them. Noting that the militia is not highly skilled in 'civil' affairs, but does know how to shoot.

#7  Having spoke with a close person that works a Atlanta Metro area Fire Dept.
(not stupid, ain't saying which county FD due to the Metro LSD vindictive politics of the areas)

His FD station crews and other stations Fire and EMS crews have experienced various levels of domestic terrorism, vandalism, and outright physical assaults responding to BLM / ANTI-FA set arson & crime scenes.

A few FD stations in the metro area being used by GA State SWAT teams to stage, and deploy raids against these groups using unmarked confiscated vehicles.

As we have already seen from arrest records.
A Majority of these Radicals are IMPORTS from Outside LSD states locations.

In short, they crossed multiple state lines to commit terrorist acts. Can anyone say where is the FBI Anti-terrorist Teams?

So unless these terrorists are Uber rich, then someone or some Anti-USA political interest group is funding their subversive actives.

Gov. Kemp has made it very clear.
This ends and end soon.

Something Buck-tooth Ms. Abrams surely would never have done.

#13  ^ at the same time go after the funding. I'm sure we know who's bankrolling this.. Cough Soros..snort If only we had the will to make it stop. I'm sure we could convince one of the local Cartel member gangs that this is bad for business.

I bet the nonsense would ratchet down after a few headless bodies show up.

#15  Watch the interplay of local, state and fed LE. So far, Atlanta seems to want to follow the Portland OR model but Kemp doesn't look like he's playing along.

#17  ^ No doubt, but we've seen this model before on the West Coast. Little changes - the big players move out as promised, and still nothing changes. What is left are small business with BLM signs in their windows which serve to create a false sense of solidarity when all that is really left is just fear.

#24

In case some of you missed it.

Look closely at the printed up No Cop City" signs, that the protesters are holding up" on the 11 Alive video at 2M:23 sec.. .

At the bottom of the signs it clearly states

Party for Socialism and Liberation

Which might answer the question of whom is funding these radicals.

Does the name SOROS come to mind, along with a few other groups?
Posted by: NN2N1 || 01/22/2023 13:32 Comments || Top||

#25  Party for Socialism and Liberation is a group formed about 15 years ago in San Francisco (surprise). Tied to US Communist Party, various Marxists groups, some Socialist groups.

Ran Presidential candidates in every election since 2008. The list of groups they hate is pretty long but it includes the WHO, World Bank, International Monetary Fund and some other institutions. Of course they also hate Israel, defended China's destruction of the Hong Kong independence and support North Korea.
