Over 300 Former Govt Officials, Traders Returned to Country: Commission
[ToloNews] The "Commission for the Return and Communications with Former Afghan Officials and Political Figures" said that over 300 officials of the former government and traders have returned to the country within the past four months.

A front man for the commission, Ahmadullah Wasiq, acknowledged that some of the officials who returned to the country have left the country again but said that their leaving was due to personal issues.

There are reports that some of the former government officials, including Dawlat Waziri, the former Defense Ministry front man, Amanullah Ghalib, former head of the Breshna Shirkat, and Kamal Nasir Osuli, former member of the parliament, have returned to the country and then left again.

"Hundreds of them have received the forms to return to the country. I don’t think it is necessary to publicize their names before their arrival. We are in contact with them, some of them left the country for treatment or to transfer their families," Wassiq said.

However,
the way to a man's heart remains through his stomach...
some senior former government officials have returned to the country over the past several weeks.

"There is a need for more work to be done. It (Islamic Emirate) should make contact with more people and ask for cooperation from other people, other tribes in the country, thus a reconciliation path will be laid," said Amanullah Hotaki, a political analyst.

"Some certain people returned but some others have not returned and the actions of the commission have not been very noticeable in the country. There was no representative and no plan or roadmap of how the individuals can return," said Rahamatullah Bizhanpor, a political analyst.

According to Wassiq, the cases of the former government will be addressed based on the procedures of the commission and if they are accused of corruption by the former government they will be granted amnesty based on the decree of the supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate.

No Casualties Left After Grenade Explosion in Northern Afghanistan
[KhaamaPress] A grenade in Balkh province, in northern Afghanistan, thrown out of a car due to the carelessness of the driver reportedly belonging to the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
’s 209th al-Fath Corps, went kaboom! leaving no casualties, said local Taliban officials.

The hand bomb explosion, which occurred on Sunday at around 7:40 p.m. in Mazar-e-Sharif’s police district 4, occurred near Darwaza-e-Balkh according to the Taliban security officials.

According to the Taliban’s Balkh province police chief, the earth-shattering kaboom was triggered by a grenade that went kaboom! in an open area without injuring anyone.

The Taliban official Mohammad Asif Waziri, the chief of police for the Taliban police in Balkh, said that the hand grenade was thrown out of a car, and he blamed the driver’s carelessness for the earth-shattering kaboom.

According to the Taliban security official, two people in connection with the grenade explosion have been taken into police custody for further investigations.

The perpetrators of this incident, according to reports, were Taliban members working with the 209th al-Fath Corps who were detained by security officers from Mazar-e-Sharif’s police district 4.

Earlier last week, a grenade belonging to the Taliban members in the northern Afghan province "accidentally" went kaboom! killing one person and injuring 4 others including women and kiddies.

The Taliban members were reportedly riding a cycle of violence when the grenade pin mistakenly came out, leading them to throw the grenade, which resulted in fatality and injuries.

This occurs at a time when the people of Afghanistan are battling with and dying as a result of natural disasters, including earthquakes and flash floods brought on by severe rains, as well as increased crime rates, traffic accidents, and, to top it all off, the negligence of Taliban members.

‘Very Limited’ US Intelligence Capability in Afghanistan, Retired American General Says
If true, what benefit is there in saying so? If false, ditto.
[KhaamaPress] Retired General Frank McKenzie, former commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), stated that the US has limited intelligence capacity in Afghanistan.

The US has "very, very limited" intelligence capacity in Afghanistan, the former chief of US CENTCOM stated in an interview on September 11—21 years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, expressing concern.

According to McKenzie, who retired in April, he advised US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing...
to keep 2,500 troops in Afghanistan. The general claimed he was informed that such a move would be misinterpreted and send a bad signal.

The military chief was also questioned about if he agreed with the Biden administration, the guys that caused the debacle in Afghanistan
...the collection of boodlers, grifters, hangers-on, and self-proclaimed experts affiliated with the Biden Crime Family. Entrusted with an entire nation as the result of a suspicious election, they set about happily implementing stuff they absorbed in college, all of which blew up and splattered the rest of us...
’s conclusion that the US is not now under threat from ISIS or al-Qaeda. The terrorist groups, McKenzie concluded, can "regenerate" and continue to pose a threat in the future.

When referring to the US military engagement in Afghanistan after 9/11, McKenzie noted, "The cost was not cheap." Up until the US military pullout, roughly 2,400 American forces died. "We lost a lot of brave young Americans," he added.

The American General expressed concern about the ill intention of the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
, speaking about the stay of al-Qaeda leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri
...Formerly second in command of al-Qaeda, now the head cheese, occasionally described as the real brains of the outfit. Formerly the Mister Big of Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Bumped off Abdullah Azzam with a car boom in the course of one of their little disputes. Is thought to have composed bin Laden's fatwa entitled World Islamic Front Against Jews and Crusaders. Currently residing in the North Wazoo area assuming he's not dead like Mullah Omar. He lost major face when he ordered the nascent Islamic State to cease and desist and merge with the orthodox al-Qaeda spring, al-Nusra...
, who according to him, "was living in very good accommodations in downtown Kabul."

Frank McKenzie also stated that he still believes both al-Qaeda and ISIS will expand and "regenerate" in Afghanistan with the Taliban group sitting atop the government in Afghanistan.

Closing of Paktia Girls’ Schools After Brief Opening Sparks Outcry
[ToloNews] The closing of schools for female students beyond grade six, which had been briefly opened, sparked serious reactions inside and outside of Afghanistan.

Earlier, some girls’ schools above grade 6 in the province had been reopened due to a decision by tribal elders and local educational officials, but the schools were closed again.

On Saturday, dozens of girls took the streets in the center of Paktia to protest the closing of their schools.

The videos of the protests went viral on social media and triggered strong reactions by the Afghan public as well as famous politicians and human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
defenders.

Former Afghan President Hamid Maybe I'll join the Taliban Karzai
...A product, and probably the sole product, of the Southern Alliance...
again asked the Islamic Emirate to reopen girls' schools in the country.

"The voice of female students in Paktia is the voice of all our girls and of the Afghan nation. The voice of girls calling for the reopening of schools is the voice of dignity, progress and self-sufficiency for our beloved country," he tweeted.

"The fight of Afghan girls/women for the right to education is important for the entire humanity because gender apartheid and contraction of freedom in one country can have fallout for the rest of humanity," said Afrasiab Khattak, a former Pak senator and analyst of regional affairs.

Heather Barr, director of the Women's Rights Division at Human Rights Watch said on Twitter that the "Taliban
...Arabic for students...
just shut down girls’ schools in Paktia—after community members pushed for them to open. What will the HRC do? We want a much tougher UN action on accountability."

The founder and head of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), Mazoor Pastheen, said that Saturday's protest for educational rights by the girls in Paktia is praiseworthy.

"In the 21st century, the Afghan girls are being deprived of education by force," he said.

Nazar Mohammad Motmaeen, head of the Afghan National Olympic Committee, on Twitter criticized the closure of schools and said there has yet to be a decision about whether to close or reopen the schools for girls.

Iran nuclear talks in disarray as monitors meet on probe
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] International atomic monitors convened Monday to discuss a standoff with Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
that’s dragged efforts to revive a landmark agreement to curtail the country’s nuclear program deeper into disarray.

The ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency’s probe into Iran’s past nuclear activities has taken center stage in talks to resuscitate the 2015 deal, where success could unleash a surge in Iranian oil exports. Diplomats will discuss the issue this week in the Austrian capital, where the agency’s 35-member board of governors is meeting.

"The information gap is bigger and bigger," IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said at a press briefing in Vienna, adding he still expects Iran to cooperate in his inquiry.

Iran is demanding the IAEA investigation into suggestions of nuclear activities at undeclared sites be terminated before it starts to dismantle a program now enriching uranium just below the levels needed for weapons. The US and other world powers have offered sanctions relief if the Islamic Theocratic Republic curtails nuclear-fuel production, but they insist it’s up to the IAEA to declare an end to the investigation.

The governments of La Belle France, Germany and the UK issued a joint statement on Saturday addressing the latest demands from the Islamic Theocratic Republic.

"In light of Iran’s failure to conclude the agreement on the table, we will consult with our international partners on how best to deal with Iran’s continued nuclear escalation," the European governments said.

"There is really no reason now for Iran not to agree to these proposals," German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Monday. "But we must recognize that this is not the case and so it certainly won’t happen anytime soon, even though it appeared that would happen for a while."

As European hopes dim for an immediate return to the agreement, Iran’s leadership is focusing on the region. President Ebrahim Raisi is expected to meet his Chinese and Russian counterparts at a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization that convenes on Thursday in Uzbekistan.

Even if Iran and world power manage to clear the final hurdles toward reviving the accord, the IAEA’s Grossi warned the amount of time his inspectors will need to verify compliance has grown.

"The reality is that it is going to be extremely difficult and we will have to work very hard and Iran will have to be very transparent," he said. "There’s a lot of homework to do."

US CENTCOM urges nations to bring ISIS relatives home from al-Hole
The head of the US armed forces’ Central Command Monday urged countries from around the world to repatriate their nationals from a northeast Syrian camp housing militants’ wives and children.

Al-Hol camp holds around 56,000 people -- mostly Syrians and Iraqis, but also around 10,000 who consist largely of wives and children of ISIS fighters originating from further afield.

Many were taken to the camp during the defeat of the militant group’s self-declared caliphate by US-backed Syrian Kurdish forces in 2019.

“I encourage all of the countries that have citizens there to repatriate, rehabilitate and reintegrate” camp residents, CENTCOM’s General Michael Kurilla told reporters in Jordan’s capital Amman.

Syria’s Kurds -- who run a semi-autonomous administration in northeast Syria -- have repeatedly begged countries to repatriate their citizens.

But such calls, despite being echoed by the United Nations, have largely fallen on deaf ears, due to fears returnees might pose a security threat back home and trigger a domestic backlash.

ISIS, a Sunni extremist group, seized around a third of Iraq and swathes of war-torn Syria in 2014, recruiting foreign militants from around the world, before it was gradually ground down by US-backed forces on both sides of the border.

The foreigners at Al-Hol are detained in a secure area away from other camp residents, since many of them are still highly radicalized, posing problems for Kurdish guards and other camp residents.
