#1 Yes. Long ago movies and TV shows used to have plot, character development, wit, humor, and good music. That was why we watched them. When all that went away, we stopped watching.

#6 Being 'woke' puts ideological blinkers on the creative process. Do you remember "Jonesy" (Courtney B. Vance) from the Hunt For Red October(1990)? Tom Clancy as an author had no mental image of the minor character " Petty Officer Jones, Sonar operator of USS Dallas," but after Vance's bravura acting the character was his alone.

In Woke Universe™ such things don't happen because every character must fit some pedagogical stereotype....
