#4 While supporters of the European Union constitution say it is a chance to entrench French influence in a bloc that now encompasses the countries of the former Soviet east, for opponents it is a sell-out to "liberal" economic forces that spells the end of France's generous social model.

The French are voting "non" for the wrong reasons. Heh. But maybe by voting "non" they are doing the right things for the wrong reasons. But what do I know? Ima justa Yank with no nuances, and besides, It's non of my bisnesses.
