[FoxNews] Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Thursday signed off on an independent commission's recommendations to remove from U.S. military facilities, "all names, symbols, displays, monuments, and paraphernalia that honor or commemorate the Confederacy."
"The installations and facilities that our Department operates are more than vital national security assets. They are also powerful public symbols of our military, and of course, they are the places where our Service members and their families work and live." Austin wrote in a memo to senior officials on Friday. "The names of these installations and facilities should inspire all those who call them home, fully reflect the history and the values of the United States, and commemorate the best of the republic that we are all sworn to protect."
Beginning on Dec. 18, 2022, the Department of Defense will begin renaming assets across the country, including hundreds of streets, buildings and other assets.
Among the changes is the renaming of nine Army posts: Forts Benning and Gordon in Georgia; Forts Lee, A.P Hill and Pickett in Virginia; Fort Bragg in North Carolina, Fort Rucker in Alabama, Fort Polk in Louisiana and Fort Hood in Texas.
According to the commission’s report, Fort Benning will be named Fort Moore; Fort Polk will be renamed Fort Johnson; Fort Bragg will become Fort Liberty; Fort Gordon will become Fort Eisenhower; Fort Hood will become Fort Cavazos; Fort Lee will become Fort Gregg-Adams; Fort Pickett will become Fort Barfoot; Fort Rucker will be renamed to Fort Novosel.
Navy ships USS Chancellorsville and USNS Maury will also be renamed. Carlos Del Toro, the secretary of the Navy, will decide on the new names.
The federally mandated Naming Committee estimated the undertaking to cost as much as $62.5 million, according to Stars and Stripes.

Congratulations! Pentagon just removed much of the south from the recruiting pool. Which is probably the plan with the not-so-closeted Marxists in power.

"all names, symbols, displays, monuments, and paraphernalia that honor or commemorate the Confederacy people in our history we hate." Fixed it for you!
Do they just want to reawaken the spirit of Nathan Bedford Forrest to actually create the thing they claim already exists?

So… is the USS Shiloh going to be renamed the George Floyd?
Will the Chancellorsville become the USS Spencer Rapone?
OK ya-who.....
Will you update several MILLION Military Brat Birth Certificates and then waste few $100 million changing signs, address labels, Stationary, etc etc etc...also?

[FoxNews] Montgomery Village Police Department Chief Paul Arteta and Montgomery Village Mayor Steve Brescia say the community is 'upset' over the White House's migrant flight to the rural city in New York State.
Unaccompanied migrant children arrived on flights to a rural New York community and local officials said Friday they were given no advance notice by the Biden administration.
Montgomery police chief Paul Arteta and Mayor Steve Brescia joined "Fox & Friends First" to explain what happened when the flights arrived at Orange County Airport from Texas, carrying minors between 13-18 years old.
"I've never seen anything like this before," said Brescia, whose town is located in the Hudson Valley, about 75 miles north of New York City.
Arteta said officials don't know where the parents are, but the children continued on to other areas of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Brescia said he wished he had received some alert before the flights arrived.
"They thought that the village or town knew about it, and we knew nothing. And there wasn't much we could do about it, unfortunately. But just a little forewarning or little information would have helped us considerably," he told Carley Shimkus.
Brescia said the leaders in his community were worried about the safety of the children and did not have answers to provide to residents. He said the town would have had to handle the response if, "God forbid," the bus that picked up the migrants at the airport had been involved in an accident.
Arteta said after "dozens of phone calls" to local officials, they were able to verify that the flight had been sanctioned by the Office of Refugee Resettlement within the federal Department of Health and Human Services.
Officials in small NY town say migrant teens arrived on flights Video
Arteta said officers had been alerted by a resident who had called to report "suspicious" activity.
"It astounds me," Brescia told Brian Kilmeade on "Fox & Friends" on Friday.
"We're being dumped on and, we're not going to put up with it. We hope there's no more flights coming into the airport, because we can't handle it. There's not enough security there. There's not enough resources in our community. The taxpayers cannot absorb what they did to us," he said.
Meantime, New York Governor Kathy Hochul is tapping the National Guard to help with New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ migrant tent city, Fox News Digital has confirmed.
The development comes after Adams announced Monday night that the city was relocating its first humanitarian emergency response and relief center for asylum seekers from Orchard Beach, which was condemned for being flood prone and far from public transportation to Randall's Island.
In the past several months, New York City has seen an influx of more than 16,000 asylum seekers, Adams' office said Monday. But according to figures from Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s office Friday, the southern border state has bused just over 2,900 migrants to New York City since Aug. 5.

It's David Brock w/ dark money funding. Did the same thing in 2020. Probably 2018, 2016 ...
[Breitbart] Investor advocates and White House officials are lamenting the latest legal defeat of President Barack Obama’s 2012 DACA amnesty, and are calling on Congress to pass a formal amnesty by Christmas.
“Congress absolutely has to act this year,” claimed Todd Schulte, head of the FWD.us lobby group for wealthy West Coast investors, after the federal court announced the decision on October 5.
“Our businesses will lose critical employees,” said a press statement from a business coalition organized by Schulte’s billionaires. “We once again urge Congress to swiftly pass legislation this year that will help Dreamers, American businesses, and our country,” said the Coalition for the American Dream.
“It is long past time for Congress to provide Dreamers [DACA illegals] with the ability to live and work … they’re valued employees at the businesses where they work,” said a statement from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The FWD.us investor group backs migration because it boosts their businesses with more wage-cutting workers, more consumers, and more renters. The founders include Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt, and Mark and Priscilla Zuckerberg. It was created in 2013 to help pass the 2013 “Gang of Eight” cheap labor and amnesty bill.
“There is a *lot* of confusion but this is a big step forward to the courts terminating DACA,” Schulte said in an October 5 tweet.
“Judges are saying it’s dead but trying to hide it to play Biden admin & Dems for a bit,” he said in another tweet.
Schulte and other pro-migration advocates hoped to gain from a political backlash if the court fast-tracked the end of DACA before the midterm elections.
“That Federal judges who are throwing the lives of nearly 700k DACA recipients and another 1.5M family members in their households into chaos don’t understand basics on the law is VERY troubling,” he tweeted on October 5.
But the court deflated that possibility by saying that DACA’s work permits for roughly 700,000 illegal migrants can remain valid until a lower court responds to recent legal claims by the Biden administration. The court barred any expansion of the program.
The White House also complained: “It is long past time for Congress to pass permanent protections for Dreamers, including a pathway to citizenship … This challenge to DACA is just another example of the extreme agenda being pushed by MAGA-Republican officials,” said a White House statement.
FWD.us is working with other amnesty groups to sneak legislation through Congress in the lame-duck session before Christmas. For example, the groups have inserted language in the draft Pentagon spending bill that would open up white-collar jobs to an unlimited flow of foreign graduates
The business groups work closely with progressive groups who oppose national borders.
For example, pro-migration, Indian-born Rep. Pramila Jayapal (R-WA)
...actually (D-WA), chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and co-chair of the Transgender Equality Task Force...
also raged at the court’s decision, which concluded that presidents cannot hand out wage-cutting work permits to foreigners without approval from Congress

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The Biden administration has doled out more than 300,000 smartphones to illegal immigrants in an attempt to track them.
According to the Daily Wire, the exorbitant gift to the non-citizens is part of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement program called "Alternatives to Detention," which allows migrants into the United States prior to their court dates.
The smartphones, which cost $361,218.08 of American tax dollars per day, make use of facial recognition, GPS monitoring and voice identification to monitor illegal aliens.
John Feere, former senior adviser for the Department of Homeland Security, said that the program was a "costly failure," noting that thousands of illegal immigrants have disappeared despite the attempts to track them.
"And there’s no reason to think this will be any different," Feere said. "The goal should be to quickly determine whether these individuals have a valid case, and if not, to quickly deport them."
Feere said that the DHS is in the process of developing a social services program that will benefit non-governmental organizations without guaranteeing that any of those individuals would return home when ordered.
The ATD program had 91,793 illegal immigrants enrolled in 2020, and 136,026 in 2021. When President Joe Biden took office, the number of enrollments skyrocketed to 316,700 illegal immigrants.
Ron Vitiello, former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said that this program is the "sort of thing popular among the left."
"It sounds great, but the reality is that people in these programs will likely never be [deported]," Vitiello said. "There’s nothing at the end of these programs. If they don’t report in, that’s that. They’re now a fugitive."
Over two million migrants had crossed the border for the fiscal year in August, a new record for migrant encounters at America’s Southern border.
Of those encounters, an estimated 1.6 million have hearings scheduled who are not in detention, according to an internal ICE report.
[NYPOST] As prosecutors weigh charges against Hunter Biden, don’t forget the many reasons to think the Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. We get to suffer the consequences... Justice Department shouldn’t be making these calls.
The most recent evidence is the fact that sources close to the investigation felt the need to leak news that the feds have enough to bring tax- and gun-related charges. No way that happens unless people within Justice are seriously worried about even those puny charges getting squelched.
They have reason to worry: Former Hunter associate Tony Bobulinski years ago corroborated to the FBI that indeed, the laptop emails said exactly what they seemed to. I.e. that millions of dollars flowed from Hunter’s corrupt foreign dealing not only to him but his wider family, including his uncle James. And that a 10% slice of those dollars was reserved for the "big guy", plainly Hunter’s dad Joe.
The result? Agent Tim Thibault seemingly kiboshed any real inquiry into the matter and then left the building for a free-and-easy-retirement.
Then there’s the fact that the investigation — despite ample evidence already made public — has limped along for years. If that laptop had been full of incriminating emails from Eric Trump and photos of Don Jr. smoking crack, does anyone doubt they’d have been in court long ago?
One reason why FBI agents felt compelled to leak to The Washington Post that they’ve had enough evidence for a criminal case for months is that they feel that David Weiss, the US Attorney for Delaware, is sitting on a plainly prosecutable case.
Consider, too, that Weiss’ boss, US Attorney General Merrick Garland, reports directly to Hunter’s dad — a person of interest (or one who should be of interest) in this sordid affair. The whole situation screams out for a special counsel.
From start to finish, it’s sure looked like the Biden mafia’s clan interests have obstructed the functioning of the law here (just as their allies in the media and Big Tech throttled our pre-2020-election reporting on Hunter’s laptop).
Unless and until outside counsel comes on, there’s little hope justice will actually be served

Biteone will convict him and then issue his last pardon before resigning!
The only flaw I see in that totally genius plan is you need a trial for a conviction and that means depositions, evidence, publicity and a jury verdict. Easier to ignore/slow-walk the whole mess.
It is probably worth pointing out that in American government, The Department of Justice is part of the Executive branch. The head of the Executive branch is the Big Guy himself, Joseph Robinette Biden.
[NYPOST] For years, President Biden repeated the same mantra when asked about Hunter Biden’s influence peddling and alleged crimes: "My son did nothing wrong." It was always implausible — as was his denial of any knowledge of these dealings despite emails and pictures to the contrary.
So the president and the press have been shifting to a new defense. As the father recently insisted of his son, "He fought an addiction problem. He overcame it. He wrote about it."
The family and the media have been cultivating the angle for months as they anticipated possible criminal charges. Such charges would not only be an embarrassment for the president but also the media, which have been actively complicit in covering up the multimillion-dollar influence-peddling schemes of the Biden family, including Hunter and his uncle James. With the criminal conduct exposed, all that’s left is the addiction defense.
Hunter Biden’s autobiographical book laid the foundations for this final line of defense. While the book did not do particularly well in sales with the public, the media offered fawning interviews about his account of addiction. The narrative was ramped up by many of the same media outlets that buried the scandal, including articles on how the family fought "to keep him alive."

He is stupid to blame his issues on drug addiction. He should blame the brain damage from the car crash he was in as a kid. He could probably claim it gave him a predilection for drugs.
