[Breitbart] Nineteen people were shot, five fatally, Friday into Sunday morning across Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.
ABC 7 / Chicago Sun-Times reports the first fatality occurred at 10:15 p.m. Friday night, when a 31-year-old man was shot multiple times. He “was standing in a gangway between two buildings in the first block of North Menard Avenue” when the shots rang out.
The 31-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second fatality occurred around 9:30 p.m. Saturday “in Humboldt Park on the Northwest Side.” The deceased victim was a 14-year-old boy.
WGN-TV notes the boy was “discovered shot in the abdomen in the 10-100 block of South Springfield Avenue,” and could not tell police any details about the shooting itself. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
The third fatality of the weekend occurred about 10 p.m. “in the 600 block of North Homan Avenue,” when a 36-year-old man was shot numerous times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fourth fatality was that of a 23-year-old man who was shot and killed at 10:25 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to the hospital by a friend after receiving a gunshot wound to the chest. He pronounced dead at the hospital.
The fifth fatality of the weekend occurred Sunday morning just before 4:30 a.m., when a 27-year-old was shot while sitting in a vehicle “in the 1200 block of West 13th Street.” The 27-year-old was shot multiple times after refusing to hand money over to an alleged robber. He died at the hospital.
Breitbart News pointed out 45 people were shot last weekend in Mayor Lightfoot’s Chicago, and five of those shooting victims succumbed to their wounds.

[NYDAILYNEWS] The gunman who fired a barrage of rounds into crowded Times Square was trying to kill his brother but wound up wounding three innocent bystanders — including a 4-year-old girl, police sources said Sunday.
The suspect, identified by sources as 31-year-old Farrakhan Muhammad,
...an interesting name, under the circumstances...
was still on the run Sunday after turning Manhattan’s tourist hub into a shooting gallery, the sources said.
Muhammad, who peddles bootleg CDs at the Crossroads of the World, had gotten into an argument before he pulled out a pistol and started shooting wildly, sources said.
One stray bullet struck 4-year-old Skye Martinez of Gravesend, Brooklyn, who was standing in line to buy new toys at the Line Friends store.
"It didn’t hit any important bones because they did the X-rays to check. But they did a full cleaning to make sure she doesn’t get any infection or anything like that," said the aunt of Skye Martinez, who asked not to be named. "There’s no bullet fragment. They didn’t see anything left. It didn’t break, it just entered and then exited."
Wendy Magrinat, 23, a tourist celebrating Mother’s Day with her family, was struck in the leg while standing just inches from her 2-year-old daughter.
"I was literally screaming on the floor, ’I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die, I have a 2 year old,’" Magrinat told the Daily News Sunday. "When I got shot I told my husband to run because he had my baby girl."
The third victim, 43-year-old Marcela Aldana of New Jersey, was struck in the foot.

"My vow to this community and to the families who have lost someone today, is that this department will do everything we can to find you the answers you deserve and be here for you with an unwavering support,". Hey don't bother- The shooter was a vengeful psychopath. Anymore questions?

[PJ] Democrat cities have allowed hundreds of homeless encampments to pop up along the West Coast.
Homelessness isn’t new to places like San Francisco, L.A., Seattle, Sacramento, and so on. I was in Portland 12 years ago for a comedy gig. The park in front of the club looked like a scene from Michael Jackson’s Thriller video. Today it looks like the Walking Dead.
Homeless camps are popping up all over the West Coast and bringing violence, drugs, weapons, and defecation with them. When I was a kid, camping meant fishing and catching toads, not getting shot and stepping in people poop.
Los Angeles has seen a 50% increase in homelessness over the last five years. LA’s Venice Beach homeless encampment recently had an explosion and a shooting. The question city officials are asking: where did they find the ammo?
A local barbershop owner was attacked by a homeless man and his pit bull. The victim, Kevin Buttress, was knocked unconscious by a skateboard. Before you know it we will see a swarm of recalcitrant, shaggy-bearded homeless dudes riding Segues through crowds on the boardwalk. The skateboard-swinging attacker was arrested but was returned to the Venice Beach boardwalk within days because of jailhouse Covid restrictions. Buttress said shootings, stabbings, and violent crime are now common on the boardwalk of one of Los Angele’s most famous beaches. The Venice boardwalk is known for restaurants, shops, street performers, and now 200+ tents of "mostly peaceful" bomb-tossing bums.
Shop keepers used to clear a tent or two away from their businesses every morning pre-Covid. Now the homeless have had a year to multiply and barnacle themselves in place. There are hundreds of homeless people and they ain’t going anywhere.
Crime stats provided by the LAPD to the city council indicate a 177% rise in violent crime and a 162% climb in assault with a deadly weapon by a homeless person. With what they spend on guns, skateboards, and dog food you’d think they could get an apartment. There were at least two major fires from the encampment. One spread from a tent and destroyed an entire building. A dog named Togo was burned to death when a homeless person threw an accelerant into Togo’s home.

Just a matter of time before the homeless start rioting among themselves, similar to the myth of Cadmus sowing dragon's teeth. In that myth there were some survivors who went on to build bigger & better. I doubt that will be the outcome of the upcoming Bum Wars.

Once a territory is lost to violence, lawlessness, and accepted by a government, great will and unified effort is required to bring peace back to the area...for now on think of America's West Coast, Washington, Oregon, California as Afghanistan West. Marijuana vice Poppy as its major crop and corruption its major product...
[ZH] According to newly leaked employee training manuals, the Walt Disney Company has been pushing "Critical Race Theory" (CRT) on its employees, including lectures on race and white privilege, and how America was 'founded on systemic racism.'
The core of Disney’s racial program is a series of training modules on "antiracism." In one, called "Allyship for Race Consciousness," the company tells employees that they must "take ownership of educating [themselves] about structural anti-Black racism" and that they should "not rely on [their] Black colleagues to educate [them]," because it is "emotionally taxing." The United States, the document claims, has a "long history of systemic racism and transphobia," and white employees, in particular, must "work through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed." Disney recommends that employees atone by "challeng[ing] colorblind ideologies and rhetoric" such as "All Lives Matter" and "I don’t see color"; they must "listen with empathy [to] Black colleagues" and must "not question or debate Black colleagues’ lived experience."

[Fox] Melinda Gates was supposedly concerned with her soon-to-be ex-husband Bill Gates’ relationship with disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the years leading up to their high-profile divorce last week, according to a Sunday report.
People familiar with the couple’s divorce proceedings and a former employee of their charity, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, told The Wall Street Journal that Melinda’s concerns about Epstein went back as far as 2013.

[Free Beacon] Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee are calling on Secretary of State Antony Blinken to declassify official documents that could show whether the coronavirus originated in a Chinese lab.
Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R., Wash.), the top Republican on the committee, submitted a letter with two other GOP committee members to Blinken on Thursday. The lawmakers seek records about a State Department assessment that the Chinese military worked on "secret projects" at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a lab located near where the first cases of coronavirus emerged in late 2019.
The debate over the origins of the coronavirus has proved a hot-button geopolitical issue. Chinese authorities insist that the virus spread to humans naturally from an animal species, a claim the World Health Organization endorsed in March. But a growing number of scientists, journalists, and government officials have questioned China’s claim, citing a lack of transparency from Chinese officials regarding the origins of the virus.
The State Department released a fact sheet on Jan. 15 that said the Wuhan lab has conducted classified experiments on behalf of the Chinese military since at least 2017. Some of those experiments involved animals. The WHO said in March that it is highly unlikely the virus originated from a lab leak.
But Chinese authorities refused to grant WHO investigators full access to data about early cases of the virus. Peter Daszak, an American scientist on the WHO team, told 60 Minutes that Chinese government officials oversaw all of their interviews with scientists from the Wuhan lab.
The Biden administration has also cast doubt on China’s claims and called on Beijing to cooperate with outside investigators.

The origins of COVID, the Biden laptop, the Clinton home brew servers, the murder of Seth Rich, the bridge to nowhere Robert Mueller probe, the death of Jeffrey Epstein, the Durham indictments, the 6 January White House "insurrection" and the shooting death of Ashli Babbitt, the Dominion election, all very, very strange. All headed down the memory hole.

Will never happen. Would prove Trump was right about something. The whole "it didn't come from a lab and we'll censor you for disagreement" started because they couldn't stand that Trump be right.
[Al Jazeera] Chad’s military has claimed victory in its weeks-long battle with northern rebels that led to the death of President Idriss Deby on the front line.
The rebel group Front for Change and Concord in Chad (FACT) did not respond to a request for comment on the military’s claim on Sunday. The transitional military authorities have previously said they have defeated the rebels only for fighting to continue.
The fighting and broader political instability are being closely watched. Chad is a key power in central Africa and a longtime Western ally against rebel fighters across the Sahel region ... North Africa's answer to the Pak tribal areas... Crowds in the capital N’Djamena cheered on Sunday as soldiers returned from the front line in a column of tanks and armoured vehicles.
"The triumphant return of the army to the barracks today heralds the end of operations and Chad’s victory," the army’s Chief of the General Staff Abakar Abdelkerim Daoud told news hounds.
At an army base in N’Djamena, dozens of captured rebels sat in the dirt, on display for the assembled press.
On Saturday, security forces fired tear gas to disperse a protest against the ruling military council. Led by Deby’s son Mahamat Idriss Itno, the council seized power after the former’s death, promising to oversee an 18-month transition to elections.
Opposition politicians and civil society have denounced the takeover as a coup and called for supporters to take to the streets. At least five people were killed during a protest on April 27.
French President Emmanuel Macron had signalled strong backing of the military during Deby’s funeral which he attended, sitting next to Deby’s son Mahamat. But the French government has since shifted, calling for a civilian national unity government.
People had planned a further protest on Sunday, but postponed it out of fear the authorities planned to suppress it violent mostly peacefully, Mahamat Nour Ibedou, a prominent human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... activist, told Rooters news agency.
The military council had given permission for a protest on Sunday.

Excessive Gov't borrowing and spending cannot be the cause of inflation. The Russian default has worked well in the past. Let's just go with what works.

The wise thing to do would be to reach out to such hackers and incentivize them to work for your interests. You're sending billions into bottomless shitholes and contracting skimmers and bullshit specialists all year round anyway for heaven's sake.

With that attitude the Biteme Administration is not competent enough to prevent hackers from taking over airliners full of people and crashing them if immediate ransom is not paid.

Is it me, Natasha is looking hotter as the years go by... Needs a new hair style and those eyebrows, well they need a little something... hey, how about a redux based upon the look of that teacher that was caught sucking a nipple on live cam the other day, Natasha would look smashing with that make over... Yeah, that's the ticket. She needs to 86 Boris, and get out and about...
As for Boris, he looks like that NJ RINO former Governor Chris Christy, only with a moustache... no hope for him, really... but he would fit right in with the Biden Admin, same mental capacity and attitude... 'nothing to worry about here just sit back and take the madness that surrounds you'....

As if the Chinese don't have an entire division of the PLA devoted to hacking. Joe knows this...at least he or whoever is pulling his strings should know. I've said it before, we should put both countries and Ukraine as well into a firewall that blocks them from accessing any computers anywhere in the United States. When they complain about it, tell 'em to FOAD.
Of course, we all know Biden would never do any such thing.

^-- yeah having hundreds of exhausted, sleeping drivers hauling gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and other refined petroleum products is perfectly safe.
From the blog of Sebastian Rushworth M.D.
Back in January I wrote an article about four randomized controlled trials of ivermectin as a treatment for covid-19 that had at that time released their results to the public. Each of those four trials had promising results, but each was also too small individually to show any meaningful impact on the hard outcomes we really care about, like death. When I meta-analyzed them together however, the results suddenly appeared very impressive. Here’s what that meta-analysis looked like...
...It showed a massive 78% reduction in mortality in patients treated with covid-19. Mortality is the hardest of hard end points, which means it’s the hardest for researchers to manipulate and therefore the least open to bias. Either someone’s dead, or they’re alive. End of story.
You would have thought that this strong overall signal of benefit in the midst of a pandemic would have mobilized the powers that be to arrange multiple large randomized trials to confirm these results as quickly as possible, and that the major medical journals would be falling over each other to be the first to publish these studies.
That hasn’t happened.
Rather the opposite, in fact. South Africa has even gone so far as to ban doctors from using ivermectin on covid-19 patients. And as far as I can tell, most of the discussion about ivermectin in mainstream media (and in the medical press) has centred not around its relative merits, but more around how its proponents are clearly deluded tin foil hat wearing crazies who are using social media to manipulate the masses.
In spite of this, trial results have continued to appear. That means we should now be able to conclude with even greater certainty whether or not ivermectin is effective against covid-19. Since there are so many of these trials popping up now, I’ve decided to limit the discussion here only to the ones I’ve been able to find that had at least 150 participants, and that compared ivermectin to placebo (although I’ll add even the smaller trials I’ve found in to the updated meta-analysis at the end). rtwt

There has never much doubt that a lot of viable Convid-19 treatments and solutions are being hidden and the medical establishment is in constant contradiction with itself.
Then add to it the Print, Social and E-Media wanting to hype the problem and/or extend the duration on it for Click-AD-$$$$ & their owners Political Agendas.

If there is a cheap and effective treatment available then people won't be afraid, and if they aren't afraid they won't support unfettered spending, lockdowns, mask mandates and vaccination.
[Breitbart] An Iranian man caught fire while trying to burn an Israeli flag during annual anti-Israel demonstrations on Friday, as reported by Al Arabiya.
The flag-burning was part of "Quds Day" demonstrations, which are encouraged by the Iranian regime toward the end of Ramadan. Iran has also sponsored similar demonstrations in other parts of the world. ("Quds" is the Arabic word for "Jerusalem.")
Anti-Israel demonstrations in Iran are often accompanied (as in the photo above) by anti-American demonstrations. Footprints were painted on an American flag, and participants were encouraged to walk on it.
However, the Jerusalem Post noted, there is evidence that ordinary Iranians are increasingly refusing to comply with the regime’s instructions to walk on, or burn, Israeli or American flags.

This type of burning is usually reserved for our institutions of higher learning and diversity/inclusiveness crowd. The usual folks stick to burning the American flag.
