[NYPOST] Progressive Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon is facing mounting efforts to be ousted amid outrage that his "reckless" policies left a violent mostly peaceful gangbanger free to gun down two cops.
The woke prosecutor — already facing recall efforts — was blamed for cop-killer Justin Flores, 35, being free when he shot full of holes El Monte Police Cpl. Michael Paredes and Officer Joseph Santana on Tuesday.
The felon — who had his gang allegiance tattooed on his face — was free even though he was accused of breaking his probation for illegally carrying a gun.
Sen. Ted Cruz; ...US Senator from Texas. Republican contender for president in 2016, his stiff and abrasive manner earned him the title most hated man in the Senate. After a close win over Beto O'Rourke, who tried to out-Lastino him, he grew a beard and let his biting wit shine through. Cruz's comments have been known to leave life-threatening wounds at better than forty feet... was among those slamming Gascon after the DA issued a statement offering "heartfelt condolences" to the slain cops’ grieving loved ones.
"Officers Paredes and Santana gave their lives in the service of their fellow citizens," Cruz tweeted late Wednesday.
"It is outrageous the murderer was not in jail due to the reckless actions of George Gascon, a radical, soft-on-crime, Soros-backed DA," the Texas senator wrote.
Kurt Schlichter, an army veteran and lawyer with more than 450,000 followers on Twitter, went even further.
"Gascon flat out murdered those guys," he tweeted angrily. "Recall this piece of garbage."
Jennifer Van Laar, the managing editor of conservative outlet Red State, said she was "heartbroken and mad as hell."
"George Gascon, you are getting coppers — and lots of other people — murdered. TIME TO GO," she tweeted.

Dear FBI: THIS is what real terrorism looks like. Not parents who have the audacity to speak up at a school board meeting.

Given abortion advocates, have reached the immoral level of abortion up and during birth. When you boil it down, the Left is basically protesting for the right to kill the baby right up it popping out?
What a bunch of mentally ill, sick $hits for a future generation we are looking at.

These places really should be posting up guards on the roof to shoot the perps, with camera rolling. That will do more to stop it than the Federal Bureau of Idiots.

Not just the pregnancy centers. On Monday, Andrew Barkas (pro life Repub, Olympia WA) had his office fire bombed. The memo went out when those 2 NY commie lawyers who firebombed an occupied police car were let off with a slap on the wrist. It's indeed Open Season.

Attacking a PP office will bring the full force of the DOJ, FBI, CIA, and a Dorothea federal agencies down upon you. That is the ultimate hate crime.

[SHAFAQ] A rare U.S. military ground raid in northwestern Syria has captured a top ISIS leader, according to the U.S.-led anti-ISIS coalition.
A U.S. defense official said there were no injuries to U.S. military personnel and no damage to aircraft involved in the raid.
"Coalition forces detained a senior ISIS leader during an operation in Syria June 16," Operation Inherent Resolve said in a statement. "The detained individual was assessed to be an experienced bomb maker and controller who became one of the group’s top leaders in Syria."
A U.S. official told ABC News the name of the ISIS leader captured in the raid is Hani Ahmed al-Kurdi and described him as actively planning ISIS operations.
"Though degraded, ISIS remains a threat. We remain dedicated to its defeat. Last night’s operation, which took a senior ISIS operator off the battlefield, demonstrates our commitment to the security of the Middle East and to the enduring defeat of ISIS," said Gen. Erik Kurilla, the commander of U.S. Central Command, in a statement provided to ABC News.
Saudi-based al-Arabiya tv quoted sources saying that al-Kurdi was transferred to Iraq later.
U.S. military ground raids into northwestern Syria are risky because they are carried out far west from U.S. bases in eastern Syria in areas that are controlled either by snuffies or Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Oppressor of the Syrians and the Lebs... ’s government.
"The mission was meticulously planned to minimize the risk of collateral damage, particularly any potential harm to civilians," OIR said. "There were no civilians harmed during the operation nor any damage to Coalition aircraft or assets."
U.S. military ground operations in northwestern Syria have targeted top ISIS leaders, most notably Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who killed himself during an October 2019 raid near the border with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... that was carried out by the elite Delta Force.
His successor, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, let 'er rip with a kaboom during a similar raid in February this year.
"Coalition forces will continue to work with our partners, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Iraqi Security Forces, including the Peshmerga, to hunt the remnants of ISIS wherever they hide to ensure ISIS’s enduring defeat," Operation Inherent Resolve added. ISIS is another name used to describe ISIS.
U.S. coalition forces said they captured a senior Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group bomb maker in an airborne operation before dawn Thursday in northern Syria. A war monitor and AFP correspondents said helicopters touched down for only a few minutes in a village in an area controlled by Ottoman Turkish-backed rebel groups.
"The captured individual is an experienced bomb maker and operational controller who became one of the top leaders of ISIS's Syrian branch," it said, using another name for IS.
Such operations by U.S. forces are rare in areas of northwestern Syria that are under the control of Ottoman Turkish-backed rebels and non-IS jihadist groups.
The latest previously was a raid in early February that led to the death of the group's leader Abu Ibrahim al-Qurashi, who detonated a bomb vest to avoid capture.
Observatory head Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP that two helicopters landed in Hmeirah
...also spelt Al-Humaira...
and took off seven minutes later, adding that only a few shots were fired during the operation.
"The U.S. operation was quick and smooth," he said. "It took place in the village of Hmeirah, northeast of the city of Aleppo and four kilometres (2.5 miles) from the Ottoman Turkish border."
