Sen Cotton Blasts Retraining the Military
[Epoch Times] Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) told Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on June 10 that "hundreds" of military whistleblowers have reported being forced to receive "anti-American indoctrination" training, including critical race theory (CRT).

In a Senate hearing with Austin, Cotton claimed that within the military, there’s "plummeting morale, growing mistrust between races and sexes where none existed just six months ago and unexpected retirements and separations based on these trainings alone."
Just purging the Trumpers.
In the hearing, Austin told Cotton that some training is designed to make sure that the armed forces are "welcoming to everyone who can qualify and who is fit to serve."

"We ought to look like the America we support and defend, and senior leadership should look like what's in the ranks," Austin said.

But Cotton suggested that claims the military is attempting to foster diversity with such training are incorrect.

"[It's] about a very specific kind of anti-American indoctrination that is seeping into some parts of our military, based on the whistleblower complaints we have received," he said.

One whistleblower, Cotton alleged, said that military history training was replaced with training about police brutality, "systemic racism," and "white privilege." Another said that his unit had to read "White Fragility" by feminist author and critical theory proponent Robin DiAngelo, according to the senator.

#2  "welcoming to everyone who can qualify and who is fit to serve."

The enemy doesn't give a crap about "fitting in". The enemy only wants to kill you as efficiently and effectively as possible. That is the very basics of who you recruit and train. If you don't, it won't matter cause you are not going to be around or in charge of anything.

The History of Kamala Harris
[CarolMsBlog] For your knowledge about Biden’s VP

Here is a timely editorial that exposes the hidden background of Kamala Harris from the Combat Veterans for Congress Political Action Committee that is posted here with permission of the author. CVFC PAC supports the election of US military combat veterans to the US Senate and House of Representatives. The editorial begins:

Kamala Harris' father was an avowed Marxist professor in the Economics Department at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Both of Harris' parents were active in the Berkeley based Afro-American Association; Fidel Castro and Che Guevara were the heroes of the Afro-American Association.

'It's a new Cultural Revolution': Mom who survived Maoist China's purges rages against woke Loudoun County School Board for pushing 'neo-racism' and teacher warns against 'indoctrination camps' in classrooms
  • Loudoun County School Board held a meeting on Wednesday night, where concerned teachers and parents spoke out against Critical Race Theory
  • Loudoun County officials say they are not officially using CRT, but have pledged to push for 'equity' and have begun using many CRT 'buzzwords and concepts'
  • Parent Xi Van Fleet told the Board that the push is 'heartbreaking' because it reminds her of her time living in Maoist China
  • Van Fleet says she experienced 'freedom' after moving to the US, but believes it is now being eroded because people are fearful of speaking out against CRT
  • Educator Lilit Vanetsyan urged scared parents and students to stand up against the push to implement the theory into lesson plans
  • 'Do not allow anybody to tell you that you cannot accomplish anything because of your skin color,' she implored

US Budget Deficit for Current Year Hits Record $2.1 Trillion
[SHAFAQ] The U.S. budget deficit hit a record $2.06 trillion through the first eight months of this budget year as coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
relief programs drove spending to all-time highs.

The shortfall this year is 9.7% higher than the $1.88 trillion deficit run up over the same period a year ago, the Treasury Department said Thursday in its monthly budget report.

The report showed that spending from October through May totaled a record $4.67 trillion, up 19.7% from the same period a year ago. Government tax revenue was up 29.1% to $2.61 trillion, compared to the same period a year ago.

those who apply themselves too closely to little things often become incapable of great things...
this year's figure was bolstered by tax payments made in May, a month later than the normal April deadline but a month earlier than last year's June deadline.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020 pushing 22 million people out of work, the government has responded even more forcefully with trillions of dollars in increased spending.

That support has included three rounds of direct payments to individuals, with the last payments authorized in the $1.9 trillion relief package that President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass....
pushed through Congress in March.

Other support programs provided billions of dollars in emergency unemployment benefits and forgivable loans.

The deficit for the budget year that ended Sept. 30 totaled a record $3.1 trillion. Biden, who released his first budget earlier this month, is projecting that this year's deficit will total $3.67 trillion and will remain above $1 trillion every year over the next decade, reflecting his ambitious plans to boost spending on infrastructure and American families.

The annual federal deficit first topped $1 trillion in 2009 and remained above that level for four years as a deep recession triggered by the 2008 financial crisis depressed tax revenues and led to increased government spending to fight the downturn.

The deficit in May totaled $132 billion, compared to a deficit in May 2020 of $398.8 billion that heavy spending on the initial pandemic relief programs and the delay of the tax deadline.

Fifth Column
Muslim activist running for office in Washington state previously boarded a school bus full of children and made a bomb threat

An employee of Seattle, who has been called a "social justice warrior" and is now a progressive candidate for the King County Council threatened to blow up a school bus, then called middle school students cowards as they fled.

According to court documents obtained by The Post Millennial, Ubax Gardheere boarded the Highline School District bus on Jan. 12, 2010 as it travelled on its morning route. Once aboard the bus, which was heading to Chinook Middle School, Gardheere demanded the driver tell his dispatcher "that a national security incident was going on."

#2  Funny, her campaign site doesn't mention that:
Currently, Ubax is the Equitable Development Division Director in the City of Seattle Office of Planning and Community Development. She currently oversees the Equitable Development Initiative (EDI) program, investing in community-based organizations working on anti-displacement strategies and economic development opportunities.

In the last five years, Ubax and her team directly moved over $35 million to Seattle’s most marginalized communities, and are poised to move another $16 million in 2021. At the same time, these communities have leveraged over $200 million in additional investments from other City departments and funders. The biggest success here is not the dollar amount, but how communities are shifting government and funder practices: away from a charity-based model that overlooks the inherent dignity and agency within communities, and towards a collaborative model that builds better together, in relationship.

Mayor Frey will use $28 million in pandemic relief money for housing in Minneapolis
[STARTRIBUNE] Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey
...The inept and ineffective (but I repeat myself) Dem class president mayor of Minneapolis during the George Floyd race riots. Frey issued the order for police to evacuate the Third Precinct so it could safely be burned to the ground, and has since dithered, waffled, and obfuscated on a near daily basis. The city is a Dem stronghold, so he'll probably be reelected...
wants to use $28 million of American Rescue Plan money for affordable housing, including rental assistance to low-income tenants, pathways out of homelessness and new homeownership opportunities, particularly for Black and Indigenous people and people of color.
So, flushing it down Dem drains
At a news conference at the Elliot Twins public housing complex Thursday, Frey said his plan will help keep people in their homes as the city anticipates a wave of evictions after a statewide ban is lifted. The federal government is expected to end its eviction moratorium on June 30.

Pro-Trump Republicans are flocking to site of partisan Arizona ballot audit
[MSN] Republican lawmakers and officials from at least seven states have toured or plan to tour the site of the ongoing partisan ballot review in Arizona as former President Donald Trump continues to spread the lie that his loss was the result of fraud.

The Republicans who have made the trip are among the most pro-Trump in their states, and the visits come as far-right media personalities and lawmakers have joined in the former president's call to expand such reviews to locales outside of Maricopa County.

On Thursday, a Washington Post reporter spotted Colorado state Rep. Ron Hanks taking a tour of Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, where the Republican-backed review of Maricopa County's election results has slogged on for more than a month. Virginia state Sen. Amanda Chase, who just lost her bid to be the GOP gubernatorial nominee in her state, toured the facilities on Thursday, as well.

Liberals Have Epic Meltdown On Twitter After Feinstein Defends The Filibuster
[TRENDINGPOLITICS] When the Democrats took over the House, the Senate and the Presidency after the fraudulent 2020 election, the left was ecstatic. They were primed and ready to stack the Supreme Court
...the political football known as The Highest Court in the Land, home of penumbrae and emanations...
, end the filibuster, skew voting laws in their favor, and add 2 new liberal Senators by making Washington DC the 51st state.

Sadly (for Biden), Joe Manchin
...Dem senator-for-life from West Virginia. Manchin is one of the approximately one Dem senators who exhibits more integrity than Jello, often even representing his constituents...
and other Democrat Senators have been a thorn in their side, promising to never vote to end the filibuster.

Now, Dianne Feinstein
...Dem Senator-for-Life from Caliphornica. She has been a politician since about the time she was weaned. Feinstein was the author of the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban, and tried it a second time in 2012. Feinstein has chaired the Select Committee on Intelligence since 2009. At age 87.88952, Feinstein is the oldest currently serving United States Senator...
appears to be joining his ranks.

"If democracy were in jeopardy, I would want to protect it. But I don’t see it being in jeopardy right now," Feinstein said when asked about ending the filibuster.

The field of mathematical statistics was invented by Dutch guys who rolled cubes with dots on them, and lots of modern, credentialed magic numbers practitioners could both learn and become more humble by reading this book. Scarne's wry introduction to roulexxe - "Many people have asked me to describe a winning system for playing roulexxe. My advice is 'play some other game.'"

#1  Used to be I'd say "mis-spending your money." But now they're spending MMT output that never was created wealth. On the backend, the debt will behave exactly like debt. The millennials that voted for it deserve it, good and hard.

#2  Look for the rest of the world to abandon the US dollar as a currency standard. It's paper and ink and that's all it is.

Disarm the police? Maya Wiley's team is forced to deny she wants to take guns AWAY from the NYPD after AOC-backed candidate refused to commit to keeping them during mayoral debate
Used to be, not all police were armed except for nightsticks. It also used to be that most criminals weren't armed.

The Squad goes to war with Nancy over Ilhan Omar: Rashida Tlaib says 'freedom of speech doesn't exist for Muslim women in Congress' after Pelosi urged Rep. to 'clarify' comments comparing US and Israel to terrorists
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Rep. Rashida Tlaib blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic leadership for a statement they put out Thursday about Rep. Ilhan Omar

  • 'Freedom of speech doesn't exist for Muslim women in Congress. The benefit of the doubt doesn't exist for Muslim women in Congress,' Tlaib tweeted

  • Pelosi and top Democrats said Omar was fomenting 'prejudice' by drawing false equivalence between democracies like Israel and terrorist groups like Hamas

  • Omar accused her critics within the Democratic Party of whipping up 'Islamic hate against her'

  • Beyond support from her fellow 'Squad' member, the Congressional Progressive Caucus also came out in defense of Omar

  • 'We cannot ignore a right-wing media echo chamber that has deliberately and routinely attacked a Black, Muslim woman in Congress,' a statement said

#2  Its not likely any of the squad member will walk across the aisle, but it will only take about 10 'old school' pols to do so and Nancy is out of a job.

#10  Back in the day, the solution to bad ideas was exposure in "the marketplace of ideas." Not entirely perfect. Nazism and Communism killed a couple hundred million before it was generally - but no where near widely enough - agreed they were bad ideas. Now, most of the worst ideas are politically protected and discussion is verboten. That's going to have to change. Probably in an unsettling way.

#11  Self-segregation's the best / least bloody and still viable option.
