A fictional character. Literally a figment of Child's imagination. I guess Child had to dream Reacher up so that ~~someone~~ something would be afraid of the self important scribbler.

Full disclosure: I've never read any of his stuff.

#4 First, I have great difficulty reading anything on the DailyMail website because of all the blinking ads. But, from what I was able to read, it sounds like a writer has stumbled upon a formula that sells and, even though he doesn't like it, continues to use the formula because he likes the money. OK. I guess that's OK. But I wouldn't spend any of my money on it. Wouldn't waste my time reading it either.

#7 I've read em all. Reacher's character is formulaic, as in singular but more complex as you read on. Onion gets peeled. Methinks he wants to spur sales/interest in every subsequent novel - "Could be his last!"

#8 I've read most of them. In one forward, he mentions he purposefully made Reacher a bit unlikeable from the start, just to be different from other heroes. Child is obviously a Brit lefty, but he writes a good yarn. I buy them at thrift stores for a buck.

#9 I also buy the Reacher series books at Thrift Stores. I enjoy the series and like trying to solve the mystery and predict Reacher’s next move.
