18-year-old Mt. Morris man charged with attacking Macy's store manager
More on that Macy's attack from a week and half ago. Punchable smirky face
[ABC12] Charges were filed Friday in the attack of a Macy's employee at the Genesee Valley Center in Flint Township last week.

Video of the incident circulated social media for nearly two weeks.

Friday afternoon, the Genesee County Prosecutor charged 18-year-old Damire Palmer with assault to do great bodily harm less than murder, a 10-year felony.

Flint Township Police have been looking for Palmer and his brother in connection to the case since it happened June 15th.

Investigators still have not been able to question the brothers.

But Friday afternoon the Genesee County Prosecutor moved forward with charges against one of them.

Why is only Damire Palmer charged?

Leyton explained he received the case just this week on Tuesday, after looking at video on Wednesday and talking to additional witnesses, he said the evidence so far only points to assault and there's only enough evidence to charge one person.

Leyton said the 18-year-old is the attacker in the 18-second clip seen across the country on social media.

"This was an unprovoked attack," he explained. "The internal video for Macy's shows the suspect approaching from behind the victim. The store manager appears unaware that he's even there."

As you can see in the video, Leyton said, Palmer sucker punched the store manager and knocked him to the floor. He can be heard repeatedly calling the manager the n-word and pushing him down as the manager asks him to stop.

"He's shook up and he's emotionally upset, as well as physically upset," Leyton said. "But, he's emotionally upset to think that, you know, anybody would think he said the alleged vile, racial, provoking slur; because he says he didn't say it, and his history suggests he didn't say it."

Leyton added the two did talk minutes prior to the attack.

"The assailant said to the store manager -- ’Does this jacket fit?’ And the store manager said to him, ’No, it's too small,’" Leyton explained.

The store manager was on the phone at the time with a coworker out of state. Leyton said he finished his conversation while walking to a different part of the store.

"This was a cell phone to cell phone call, there is no recording of it. And the out of state witness who we interviewed said that he did not hear any such alleged provocation," Leyton explained.

Leyton added that the only person to mention the manager said anything inappropriate to Palmer was his brother who posted the video to social media. The prosecutor said that is not evidence.

"Even if there were verbal provocation, which we have no evidence of, violent retaliation is not permitted by the law," he said.

The prosecutor has already met with members of the community in transparency, letting them know why he reached this decision.

#5  Why is only Damire Palmer charged?

The cameraman just happened to be there with the camera phone on and pointed in that direction. Them fleeing together is just another coincidence and a point of Black Privilege.

As you can see in the video, Leyton said, Palmer sucker punched the store manager and knocked him to the floor. He can be heard repeatedly calling the manager the n-word and pushing him down as the manager asks him to stop.

No hate crime there because it is another point of Black Privilege to ambush Whitey/Yellowy/Browny, beat/kill them and call them niggers. Now sanctioned by the Government.

Top government expert Anthony Fauci warned Friday the United States is facing a "serious problem" from a resurgent coronavirus, as Texas and Florida ordered bars to stop serving alcohol amid a record-breaking spike in their Covid-19 cases.

The two populous southern states, home to some 50 million people, were spared the worst of the outbreak in spring but are now being battered.

With close to 125,000 deaths, the United States is by far the hardest-hit country in the world.

Navy's two aircraft carriers do not have enough supply ships to keep them stocked with food and ammunition, experts warn
[Daily Mail] The Royal Navy's two £6.4billion aircraft carriers do not have enough supply ships to keep them stocked with ammunition and food, the Whitehall spending watchdog has warned.

The Navy has just one vessel that can supply its biggest ever warships – the Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales – on operations, the National Audit Office said.

Three supply ships are 'crucial' in order for the force to operate, the damning report found.

FBI Director Wray says over 2,000 active investigations tied to China
[WashingtonExaminer] FBI Director Christopher Wray said the bureau is conducting more than 2,000 active investigations connected to the Chinese Communist Party.

The disgraced, except in his own mind, former head of the FBI...
, told Bret Baier of Special Report on Fox News that China is the greatest threat to the U.S. economy and its democratic principles, warning about the dangers posed by Chinese trade theft and espionage.

"There’s no country that presents a broader, more comprehensive threat to America’s innovation, to our economic security, and to our democratic ideas than China does," Wray said in an interview that aired Wednesday.

"The FBI has over 2,000 active investigations that trace back to the government in China," Wray said, noting that they represent "about a 1300% increase in terms of economic espionage investigations with a Chinese nexus from about a decade ago."

Wray also claimed the bureau is "opening a new counterintelligence investigation that ties back to China every 10 hours."

The Justice Department has increased its scrutiny of China’s activities recently, starting the China Initiative in 2018 and prosecuting Chinese nationals in espionage cases, cracking down on hacking schemes, prosecuting efforts to steal trade secrets, and going after the Thousand Talents Program, including Harvard professor Charles Lieber.

Turkish court sentences 121 people to life in failed coup trial
[France24] A Turkish court on Friday handed down life sentences to 121 people for taking part in the 2016 attempted overthrow of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, state media reported.

The court in Ankara sentenced 86 suspects to "aggravated" life imprisonment for "attempting to violate the constitution" while 35 individuals were given life sentences for the same crime, the official Anadolu news agency said.

An aggravated life sentence has tougher terms of detention. It was brought in to replace the death penalty which Turkey abolished in 2004 as part of its drive to join the EU.

A total of 245 suspects were on trial in the case related to events at the Gendarmerie General Command on the night of July 15, 2016 in the Turkish capital.

Another suspect, former colonel Erkan Oktem, was given nine aggravated life sentences for "wilful murder", Anadolu reported.

The failed coup left 248 people dead, excluding 24 putschists killed that night.

[MAIL] The United Nations has said it is 'shocked and deeply disturbed' by a video clip which appears to show two of its workers 'having sex' in an official UN vehicle in Tel Aviv.
Gay? No, but I am certainly enjoying the assignment --->
In the 18-second video which was posted on Twitter, a man in the back seat of a white car marked with the UN letters is seen being straddled by a woman in a red dress who is moving up and down.

The man is just wearing a t-shirt and shorts and another male passenger in the front of the car appears to be asleep. The vehicle is then driven further down the road.

The UN said all of the car's occupants are believed to be workers from the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO), a peacekeeping force based in Jerusalem.

Texas realtors will refer to 'master bedrooms' as 'primary' in home sale listings because of the old terminology's references to slavery
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • The Houston Association of Realtors has quietly decided to drop the use of the word 'master' from its sales listings and to replace it with 'primary'

  • The change came after members complained of the word master's references to slavery when used to describe a property's main bedroom or bath

  • The association made the change to its Multiple Listing Service on June 15, after an advisory group received nine requests for the change

  • Realtors still can go back to using the word master as deemed appropriate in marketing materials and for public speaking, the association says.

#3  The term 'Master' is also a title given in various crafts to denote mastery of the craft. As in 'Master Builder', 'Master Plumber', Master Fisherman, Master of the Arts (but not Master Baiter). Master Degree's are racist now.

All those films where the student refers to the teacher as 'Master'. So long 'Master Yoda' you racist!

#8  Every little bit of ground we concede, even something as trivial as "master" bedrooms, is just going to lead to another demand. There's no point in trying to use the "correct" language because correctness changes every day.

L’Oreal to drop words such as ‘whitening’ from skin products
[NYPOST] L’Oreal, the world’s biggest cosmetics company, will remove words referencing "white", "fair" and "light" from its skin-evening products, a spokeswoman said on Friday, a day after Unilever made a similar announcement in the face of growing social media criticism.

Unilever and L’Oreal are two big players in the global market for skin whitening creams used in many Asian, African and Caribbean countries where fair skin is often considered desirable.

Unilever, in particular, came under fire for its "Fair & Lovely" brand at a time of worldwide focus on racial injustice following weeks of protests sparked by the May death of George Floyd, a black man, in police custody in the United States.

Well, sure. There is a demand for these products in brown-skinned populations, African and Asian. I have no idea why lighter is skin is associated with higher status, but it is not just an American thing and has been that way for a long time.

#6  I have no idea why lighter is skin is associated with higher status, but it is not just an American thing and has been that way for a long time.

In traditional economies, suntanned skin results from working outside in the fields. Only the rich can afford to lounge about inside, bossing around those who must do physical labour, and so the distinguishing mark of success is paleness. In the developed world, by contrast, the labouring classes for the most part toil indoors, in offices and factories. The small number who work outside develop farmer tans because they respect nudity taboos while working. Only the moneyed class can afford vacations to sunny spots where they can spend hours laying out in the sun in tiny bathing suits.
