#1 Here's an image taken after a 'controlled burn' by the US Forest Service. See - Cerro Grande Fire [Over 400 families in the town of Los Alamos, New Mexico, lost their homes in the resulting 48,000-acre fire.]

Driving south on I25 I looked in the rear view mirror and saw this. Thought someone had 'bad ~~instant~~ day' at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Fortunately, it was the feds just burning down the place.

#2 Interestingly enough, that controlled burn at Los Alamos coincided with the onset of an investigation into Chinese spying and ongoing penetration of the facility. Oh well, nothing to see here.
