#3 Actually, Redneck Jim, being struck across the mouth hard often produces lacerated gums, especially if the person being struck is wincing and the striker hits the mouth with knuckles - c.f. striking her head with closed fists.

Stomping on her back is another of those small but telling indicators. His attorneys might ask that his feet be checked for bite marks, but it is quite difficult to bite a stomper's feet while on the floor, especially when face down.
