#2 Ummm, just to be clear:

It was Galileo whose said that more or less under his breath, after publicly recanting his scientific theories to avoid punishment under the Inquisition.

The Church later came to grips with science, but that was not one of its better moments.

#4 Keep in mind that the Catholic denial of science was pretty much centuries ago (OK, some of that still around). The Muslim faith(s) have a long way to go.

#9 Dawkins is a pompous jackass -- the essence of an atheist -- because not only do they believe the earth spins, but that it spins around him/her.

At least he has the courage of his convictions to take on Islammers -- and that takes some stones --especially in UK, the land of Fruity Pebbles
