#1 Isabela is the main port city to Basilan. Very compacted and with a rapid growth in their economy, due to past Balikatans running the ASG off, the town must expand. The governor, a meth head and muzzie, has close ties to the ASG and is a plankholder in the ASG. My best guess is he see's the US effort, and money, heading to Jolo and wants to stirr up the muzzies on the island in an effort to keep him and his island the center of attention.

#2 I'm kind of amazed that every mosque on Mindanao hasn't been leveled. The hard boys of Islam do not respect life, but they do respect their Mosques. Target and fire for effect.

When you get a peace treaty let it be known that if it is broken Mosques will be destroyed. Its your best chance to get them to stick to a cease fire.
