#1 Would a T shirt with a picture of Jessie Jackson with the words 'International Terrorist' under it receive the same protection?

Would the ACLU sue to protect the bearer?

Didn't think so....

#2 How about a picture on a t-shirt with either Jesse Jackson, Sharpe, Maxwell, or fat boy Kennedy and the caption "Race Baiter"???? Or how about Afarat "International Terrorists"

This is just the beginning of a bad trend as I see it, there's a general lack of respect throughout American society these days. I bet someone beats the S**T out of that kid sooner or later. The ACLU has done more to undermine American values than any Democrat ever did.

#3 What a complete nimrod that kid must be.

#4 Anyone have his address and a picture of him?

Would like to send him a shirt with his own face on it and the word: ASSHAT (or Nimrod) under it.

#5 I don't have a problem with the tee-shirt but I was hoping that we could convince the kid to get his slogan tattooed across his forehead. I want to make sure that future employers are treated to "truth in advertising type protection."

#6 How about a picture on a t-shirt with either Jesse Jackson, Sharpe, Maxwell, or fat boy Kennedy and the caption "Race Baiter"???? Or how about Afarat "International Terrorists"

Well sooner or later someone will do that. The question is, what will be the response then?

#7 If somebody came to me seeking employment wearing that shirt, I'd show them the door, if I let them in it in the first place.

Children in school should be prepared for the great wide world. That includes academics, dress, speech and deportment. Children who have brains and want to do something with their lives will have to take years to unlearn some of the garbage being stuffed into their brains at school, in the name of individual freedom.

Children are not little adults. They are adults in training.

#8 Fred - you are right and this is one reason I will probably send my (yet unborn) son to a private school if I can afford it. Public schools - under the National Education Association - suck. I want my son to be able to think and not just recite what has been crammed into his brain in the name of Political Correctness or Diversity.

Bomb - The response would be 'RACIST! RACIST!'. After all look what happened to Limbaugh.

#9 Grew up near Dearborn and lived there for 2 years. Same town with the 3 Al Qaeda cell in it (not but about 3 miles from the high school) but it helps paint the picture. And the simple delights of Arab Voice of Detroit airing 24/7. Always nice to see the OBL photos touchingly airbrushed flashed up on the screen. I bet he wore the T-shirt just to avoid getting the snot knocked out of him thrice daily.

#10 this kid is clearly a douche-bag. My question is where and who are his parents? That's what it boils down to imho. A lot of parents I've seen are a bunch of mamby-pamby dish rags. They placate their children vice teaching and nurturing them. A lot do not even take charge or accountability of their kids. This is probably the case here. My kid would get a combat boot (literally) shoved up his ass for doing something this stupid. Bomb-a-rama makes a good counter point about the race baiters...now that would be funny. F^ck the aclu.

#11 Or how about Afarat "International Terrorists"

That would get the ACLU's underwear in a Gordian knot^2.

#12 I've put three kids through most of a high school education (can't say a full one - my oldest completed it, but part of that was in South Carolina, and most of what she learned there wasn't "education". My middle son has some severe mental restrictions, but got a high school diploma. My youngest is about to graduate in January.). I've been battling school systems for 35 years. I can't claim victory, even minor ones.

Education in the United States - true, public-school education in preparation for life - is dead. I got a better education in the early 1960's at a rural southern school in Louisiana than any of my three children have received. At least my youngest understands, and has learned how to educate herself. She's still flunking classes, but she knows more than half the students that pass. She's also fighting a SEVERE dyslexia problem (she didn't learn to read until she was 10), and is ADHD - medically proven by a panel of three doctors, not just by some psychologist tapping her with their magic wand. She's also allergic to just about everything she comes in contact with. That's what forced her to learn to teach herself - it's not fun learning you're allergic to a candy bar because one of the prime ingredients is high-fructose corn syrup, when the learning comes through barfing your breakfast in the middle of the high school gymnasium.

I pity the children going through school today. They are being robbed both of their childhood and their right to a place in this world. I personally place all members of the NEA (and most other school 'unions') high on my list of people for whom a post-partum abortion would be justified.
