#1 Latest: 6 dead, 59 injured (YLE).The death toll could yet rise since several injured are in critical condition.According to local TV, some witnesses thought that gas bottle(-s) used by a clown (a local celebrity) to fill balloons for kids exploded, but this has not been confirmed.

#2 Uhhhh, Helium isn't explosive.

And if he was filling kiddies balloons with Hydrogen then he's a real clown.

#4 Somehow, I just can't see a clown's helium bottle taking out 3000 square feet of shopping center...

#5 Oughtta be able to tell from the shrapnel in the victims - most helium bottles don't come filled with bolts and nails

#6 I work in an industrial environment which uses welding gasses, and hear safety talks about them almost all the time. Gas bottles usually break at the base (via corrosion) or at the neck (from falling over). There is SOME shrapnel, but the cylinder then becomes a missile that can fly more than a couple of miles if it was full. It can go through walls. I've never heard of a bottle shattering into pieces, unless it was wearing an explosive belt at the time...
