#2 I really do not understand the mentality of people how oppose things like the ADS. Yeah, it makes people feel like they're on fire. Yeah, it's uncomfortable. Yeah, it is possible that a few people under a very odd set of circumstances might suffer long term problems.
However, if the alternative is opening fire with automatic weapons, that are decidedly lethal, it would seem that ADS would be preferable.

#6 I would think LRAD coupled with ADS would be the perfect psy-ops, replacing waterboarding as well as eliminating collateral damage from automatic weapons. Congress needs to see "the handwriting on the wall".

#7 They should get all the critics of ADS in one place, then give each of them the choice between being hit with ADS, or very real flame, with a flame thrower so that they can then tell the difference between non-lethal, non-damaging High Tech solutions, and messy permanent solutions.

I know which I'd prefer to be used on them. But you have to realize these people who protest non-lethal tech, what the tech is and does does not matter. They oppose any tools the government might use to control idiots like them.
