In as much as it's time to cut the pc crap that allows Hamza and the like to prosper from our liberalism. I think we have a hard fight on our hands to keep Britain a civil place in which to live. The UKIP may even get my vote...

I think Sassoon's stanza there sums up the stark need for societal prioritisation as much as any length of argument, polemic and rationalisation. We Westerners can only really afford worry about life's indulgences after we've dealt with the existential stuff.
