[SPUTNIKNEWS] The warning comes on the heels of US accusations that Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... was behind the attacks on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman on 13 June - just one month after a similar incident near Fujairah was likewise blamed on the Islamic Theocratic Republic.
The Iranian mission to the United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... has urged the United States and its allies in the Middle East to "stop warmongering" and false flag operations in the region following attacks on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman on 13 June that were blamed on Tehran.
"Neither fabrications and disinformation campaigns nor shamelessly blaming others can change the realities. The US and its regional allies must stop warmongering and put an end to mischievous plots as well as false flag operations in the region. Warning, once again, about all of the US coercion, intimidation, and malign behavior, Iran expresses concern over suspicious incidents for the oil tankers that occurred today", the statement issued on Thursday read.
The mission has also "categorically" rejected Washington's accusations of Tehran being responsible for the oil tanker incidents as unfounded.
"The inflammatory remarks by the US representative against Iran at the UN Security Council on 13 June 2019 was another Iranophobic campaign", it added.
In a separate development, the country's foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif took to Twitter to stress that the US accusations were part of "sabotage diplomacy" to cover up what he has repeatedly described as "economic terrorism" against Iran:

[AmericanThinker] "A republic, if you can keep it" was Ben Franklin's famous reply to the breathless folks waiting outside Independence Hall in 1787 who had asked him, "Well, doctor, what have we got ‐ a republic or a monarchy?"
If you can keep it? Let's just say it's not looking good. And that isn't good. For America ‐ or the world at large.
The Left never gives in, never tires, never wavers, always presses on.
...When a society loses faith in itself, something must fill the void. Bizarrely, we have lost faith in what demonstrably works and brings the most freedom, prosperity, and happiness to the largest number of people‐ a mix of free-market capitalism and Judeo-Christian values ‐ and are now supplanting that faith with "faith" in what demonstrably doesn't work ‐ socialism, an economic and governing philosophy that has brought only death, tyranny, poverty, and despair to all who have lived under it. The federal government has usurped states' roles and rights. And now Democrats want to dispense with the Electoral College.
...Sadly, Dr. Franklin, it does not appear that we will be able to keep the republic you and your contemporaries bequeathed to us after all. Thanks for trying.

Well, deTocqueville said that the "American experiment" would last only up to the point that the citizens discovered they could vote themselves largess from the public treasure.
With the kleptocracy in full flower we may be there.....

Do humans, homo sapiens that is, have a hard-wired tendency to break down into smaller, more stable social groups? This makes far larger social groups such as "Republics" or "Empires" inherently unstable. Look at the USSR, for example, it was supposedly communist when in reality it quickly converted into a bureaucratic swamp of oligarchies fighting over the spoils. Dunbar's Number: In 1992,[1] Dunbar used the correlation observed for non-human primates to predict a social group size for humans. Using a regression equation on data for 38 primate genera, Dunbar predicted a human "mean group size" of 148 (casually rounded to 150), a result he considered exploratory due to the large error measure (a 95% confidence interval of 100 to 230).[1]

^^Large social groups only work as long as their is a general 'Trust' that the 'Rules' are being adhered to. Once this breaks down it is a down hill rush for each petty group to establish and defend their turf against all comers.

Entropy is at work, and the more complex and unequal the perception of government behavior, the faster it fractures the system...we have tipped I fear, and the coming societal velocity to violence is visible now.
#13
I suspect group size is a scaling problem that comes from the fact that we spent most of our history as roving bands of hunter-gatherers.
(Scaling is *one* reason why socialism doesn't work. Don't get me started on the others)
One of the greatest accomplishment of the American Experiment is that we managed to unite people from all over the world under one idea - America. Not blood, not soil, but the set of beliefs laid out in our Constitution. E Pluribus Unum, baby!
I fear the current obsession with identity politics is shattering the whole idea of America. Whether it can be put back together remains to be seen.
[Babylon Bee] Shortly after Joe Biden promised to cure cancer if he is elected president, presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren attempted to one-up her opponent, promising to cure smallpox as one of her first actions upon taking office.
"We will fend off the smallpox attacks of the white man," she said while sipping "fire water" in a live video posted to her social media accounts. "If I am elected, I will find a way to end this scourge on our people and send the white devils back across the great sea where they came from."
Warren also vowed to support housing construction by funding new low-cost wigwams, longhouses, and teepees across the land.
Her policies would also address hunger. "I promise a buffalo over every fire!" she said, before giving off a war cry that she had found on Google and carefully rehearsed ahead of time.
"A vote against me is a vote for the smallpox blankets the white man used to oppress our people!" she concluded.

[Times Free Press] The vote, 833 against the union to 776 for the UAW, was closer than the 2014 effort but still fell short.
Some 51.8% of workers voted against the union, while 48.2% supported the UAW. In the 2014 election, the margin was 53.2% against the union and 46.8% for the UAW.
Anti-union workers had said they didn't need the Detroit-based UAW to speak for them when they already have a voice at the plant. They criticized the UAW for the ongoing federal corruption probe of the union in Michigan and for what they felt were unfair attacks by the UAW and its supporters against the automaker.
Mary Morrison, an eight-year employee in quality control, said the union simply wasn't needed and that "I don't want it in the door."
Pro-union VW workers had eyed the opportunity to bargain with the company over issues such as health and safety, working conditions, paid time off, and the bolstering of retirement plans.
The result comes after an onslaught of TV, radio, print and digital advertising that flooded the area over the past few weeks. The array of ads sought to gain the support of the some 1,700 VW production and skilled trades workers eligible to vote in the election.

A group of hackers that shut down a Saudi Arabian oil and natural gas facility in 2017 is now targeting electric utilities, according to the cybersecurity company Dragos Inc.
The group, Xenotime, has been probing utilities in the U.S. and Asia-Pacific regions since late 2018, Hanover, Maryland-based Dragos said in a blog post Friday. They’ve focused mostly on electronic control systems that manage the operations at industrial sites, Dragos said.
U.S. officials have long warned grids are acutely vulnerable to cyber attacks. Disrupting a region’s electrical infrastructure could cause widespread chaos, triggering blackouts and crippling financial markets, transportation systems and more.
"While none of the electric utility targeting events has resulted in a known, successful intrusion into victim organizations to date, the persistent attempts, and expansion in scope is cause for definite concern," Dragos said in its post.
The blog said the attackers appear to be probing for weaknesses in the U.S power systems -- a step to be considered far less serious than an actual attack -- and there is so far no evidence of "a known, successful intrusion."
Xenotime gained notice after a 2017 malware attack on a Saudi Arabian petrochemical facility, Dragos said. The attackers targeted safety systems to cause "loss of life or physical damage," according to the blog post.
[RT] Bitcoin evangelist John McAfee has threatened to "bury" the US government if they keep harassing him over unpaid taxes, promising to leak a huge trove of files proving corruption throughout Washington and its allies. And everyone would be just so surprised!
"I’ve collected files on corruption in governments. For the first time, I’m naming names and specifics," McAfee warned in a string of tweets stretching back to Sunday. Vowing to release over 31 terabytes of "incriminating data" to the press if arrested or otherwise "disappeared," he posted the names of a "corrupt CIA agent and two Bahamian officials" along with claims they’d taken bribes and been involved with drug trafficking, apparently to show he was not bluffing.
For my followers: my recent tweets are less for you than they are fir my pursuers. They are shots across the bow - leave me the fuck alone, or go down with the corruption you have embraced, because I will fucking bury you if you continue. Doubt me at your own fucking risk.
‐ John McAfee (@officialmcafee) June 9, 2019
He also promised to release the names of "25 Congressmen and 5 Senators, from both Parties, who are coming up for re-election in 2020, and who MUST be recalled, and if that fails, booted out of office on election day" on Friday.
I am not implying that our entire Government is corrupt. I am saying that it is corrupt to the point that no-one is untouched by it. pic.twitter.com/q4IGdBKTGz
‐ John McAfee (@officialmcafee) June 10, 2019
Claiming the Department of Justice was cooking up murder, racketeering and money-laundering charges against him in the hope of extraditing him from the Bahamas and locking him up for tax evasion, McAfee pointed out that the last attempt at framing him ‐ when authorities in Belize raided his home and charged him with running a drug operation ‐ failed. He's lost his mind

McAfee, a colorful character. He has been on the run from IRS and Belize authorities. Is he going after whistleblower status and immunity?
"25 Congressmen and 5 Senators, from both Parties" Not a surprise. Is that all?
Going to name names? What evidence/proof does he have of criminality? How did he obtain it? Maybe Barr will be interested in this cause although he most likely has a plate full.

To me, the scariest part of this is that I don't know whether to believe him or not. 15 years ago I would have come down on the conspiracy theory whack-a-doodle side pretty quickly.
After all that's come out about Obozo and company, and the never Trumpers I'm waiting for the evidence. He may just be right.

I am going with Mr. McAfee. Crazy or not, I really want to see his cards. Does anyone doubt there are corrupt US officials? Does anyone doubt the CIA is a looney bin? Look at the dog vomit the FBI has shown itself to be. NSA? DIA? Nests of seditionists.

[Orange County Register] The state of California has made no secret that it wants to let as many people out of prison as possible.
From the early release of inmates through AB 109, to filling parole boards with felon friendly commissioners, to decriminalizing a litany of felonies and drug offenses with Props 47 and 57, Sacramento lawmakers are bending over backwards to dramatically reduce the state’s inmate population.
Despite all of these efforts, the number of inmates hasn’t dropped dramatically enough to satisfy the state’s ruling Democrats, so they’re kicking tires on a new approach ‐ rigging the jury system so no one gets convicted in the first place.
This most recent push is Senate Bill 310, authored by state Sen. Nancy Skinner, D-Berkeley, and would allow Californians who have prior felony convictions to serve on juries.
In a press release promoting the proposal, Skinner wrote, "SB310 will help ensure that California juries represent a fair cross-section of our communities...People with felony records have the right to vote in California. There is no legitimate reason why they should be barred from serving on a jury."
VATICAN CITY, June 14 (Reuters) - Pope Francis said on Friday that carbon pricing is "essential" to stem global warming - his clearest statement yet in support of penalising polluters - and appealed to climate change deniers to listen to science. Putting "Dead" to the issue of Papal Infallibality
In an address to energy executives at the end of a two-day meeting, he also called for "open, transparent, science-based and standardised" reporting of climate risk and a "radical energy transition" away from carbon to save the planet.
Carbon pricing, via taxes or emissions trading schemes, is used by many governments to make energy consumers pay for the costs of using the fossil fuels that contribute to global warming, and to spur investment in low-carbon technology.
The Vatican said attendees of the closed-door meeting at its Academy of Sciences, a follow-up to one a year ago, included the CEOs of Royal Dutch Shell, Eni, BP, Repsol, Conoco Phillips, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and executives of investment funds.
"Collectively, these leaders will influence the planet's future, perhaps more than any in the world," said Father John Jenkins, president of the U.S. University of Notre Dame, which organised the meeting.
A small group of demonstrators gathered outside a Vatican gate. One held a sign reading "Dear Oil CEOs - Think of Your Children".
Francis, who has made many calls for environmental protection and has clashed over climate change with leaders such as U.S. President Donald Trump, said the ecological crisis "threatens the very future of the human family".

And this relates to spreading the gospel of Christ how? This tool should stick to religion and leave everything else to others...oh wait...for Green SJW this IS a religion.

Then let the Vatican pay for every lit candle and the censers and lamps that are part of it's ritual mongering conglomerate. That's a lot of carbon !
[Sky News] A Chinese-owned company is making circuit boards for the top-secret next generation F-35 warplanes flown by Britain and the United States, Sky News can reveal. Possibly one of the dumbest things I've read lately
Exception PCB, a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer in Gloucestershire, south west England, produces circuit boards that "control many of the F-35's core capabilities", according to publicity material produced by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).
This includes "its engines, lighting, fuel and navigation systems", it said.
When asked about the firm's Chinese ownership, the MoD said Exception PCB is an established manufacturer of circuit boards to the defence industry and presents "no risk" to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter supply chain.
A director from the company said there are "clear firewalls in place" between Exception PCB and its Chinese parent company Shenzhen Fastprint.
[City Journal] By latest count, some 109,089 men and women are sleeping on the streets of major cities in California, Oregon, and Washington. The homelessness crisis in these cities has generated headlines and speculation about "root causes." Progressive political activists allege that tech companies have inflated housing costs and forced middle-class people onto the streets. Declaring that "no two people living on Skid Row . . . ended up there for the same reasons," Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti, for his part, blames a housing shortage, stagnant wages, cuts to mental health services, domestic and sexual abuse, shortcomings in criminal justice, and a lack of resources for veterans. These factors may all have played a role, but the most pervasive cause of West Coast homelessness is clear: heroin, fentanyl, and synthetic opioids.
Homelessness is an addiction crisis disguised as a housing crisis. In Seattle, prosecutors and law enforcement recently estimated that the majority of the region’s homeless population is hooked on opioids, including heroin and fentanyl. If this figure holds constant throughout the West Coast, then at least 11,000 homeless opioid addicts live in Washington, 7,000 live in Oregon, and 65,000 live in California (concentrated mostly in San Francisco and Los Angeles). For the unsheltered population inhabiting tents, cars, and RVs, the opioid-addiction percentages are even higher‐the City of Seattle’s homeless-outreach team estimates that 80 percent of the unsheltered population has a substance-abuse disorder. Officers must clean up used needles in almost all the homeless encampments.
For drug cartels and low-level street dealers, the business of supplying homeless addicts with heroin, fentanyl, and other synthetic opioids is extremely lucrative. According to the Office of National Drug Control Policy, the average heavy-opioid user consumes $1,834 in drugs per month. Holding rates constant, we can project that the total business of supplying heroin and other opioids to the West Coast’s homeless population is more than $1.8 billion per year. In effect, Mexican cartels, Chinese fentanyl suppliers, and local criminal networks profit off the misery of the homeless and offload the consequences onto local governments struggling to get people off the streets.
West Coast cities are seeing a crime spike associated with homeless opioid addicts. In Seattle, police busted two sophisticated criminal rings engaged in "predatory drug dealing" in homeless encampments (they were found in possession of $20,000 in cash, heroin, firearms, knives, machetes, and a sword). Police believe that "apartments were serving as a base of operations that supplied drugs to the streets, and facilitated the collection and resale of stolen property." In other words, drug dealers were exploiting homeless addicts and using the city’s maze of illegal encampments as distribution centers. In my own Fremont neighborhood, where property crime has surged 57 percent over the past two years, local business owners have formed a group to monitor a network of RVs that circulate around the area to deal heroin, fentanyl, and methamphetamines. Dealers have become brazen‐one recently hung up a spray-painted sign on the side of his RV with the message: "Buy Drugs Here!"

"heroin, fentanyl, and synthetic opioids". This plaque is anywhere and everywhere in this country. I have concluded that a die off is the only solution. The World health organization has stated there are too many people in the world. So drugs and abortions accommodate that thought.Socialism also.
[PJ] One sometimes hears of politicians enjoying a "honeymoon" period in the early days after taking office. During these honeymoons, political differences are for the moment put aside so the newly installed officeholder can put his administration in place unperturbed by petty squabbles. In Chicago, where Mayor Lori Lightfoot was elected in April and sworn in on May 20, the honeymoon is already over.
Regular readers will recall I have a special fondness for Chicago, where I first visited more than 30 years ago and made friendships that have lasted to this day. So it saddens me to watch from afar as the city’s reputation for culture, architecture, and professional sports is overshadowed by its reputation for corruption and crime. To cite just one of the latest examples of corruption, Alderman Ed Burke, who has served on the city council for 50 years, is facing federal racketeering and bribery charges after being secretly recorded by Alderman Daniel Solis, who, facing corruption allegations of his own, cooperated with the FBI and wore a wire for at least two years during meetings with Burke and other city officials.

The blogger Paul Kersey refers to what's happening as the arrival of black-run America. The gist is black politicians think everything will be just fine if black criminals are left to their own devices without interference from law enforcement. This obviously has implications for anyone who isn't interested in being the victim of a black criminal.

[Washington Examiner] The Army on Friday announced its new Expert Soldier Badge to commemorate its 244th birthday, the latest in a series of efforts to improve the combat effectiveness of its troops.
The new badge, which features a frag grenade and combat knife inlaid on a silver bar, will be awarded to soldiers who pass a rigorous test that examines their physical fitness, marksmanship, and other soldier-related tasks. The Army has aimed to improve the readiness of its soldiers in recent years, after nearly two decades of constant deployments across two wars took a toll on the force.
"The ESB will be an important component of increasing Soldier lethality and overall readiness to help achieve the vision for the Army of 2028," said Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel A. Dailey in a statement.
The Army's vision for 2028 involves preparing the force to take on near-peer threats like China and Russia, in addition to the unconventional threats it has faced for nearly 20 years. The new badge will be the equivalent of the Expert Infantry Badge and Expert Field Medical Badge, which are awarded only to infantry and medical personnel. The Expert Soldier Badge will be open to soldiers outside the infantry, special forces, and medical career fields. Most Army soldiers do not serve in these fields, and were therefore previously ineligible for an expert badge.
"The EIB and EFMB have supported the Infantry and medical fields with distinction, ensuring Soldiers maintain critical skills, while recognizing the very best among them," said Dailey. "The ESB will achieve the same for the rest of the Army."

Apentathlon is a contest featuring five events. The name is derived from Greek: combining the words pente (five) and -athlon (competition) (Greek: πένταθλον). The first pentathlon was documented in Ancient Greece and was part of the Ancient Olympic Games. Five events were contested over one day for the Ancient Olympic pentathlon, starting with the long jump, javelin throwing, and discus throwing, followed by the stadion (a short foot race) and wrestling. Pentathletes were considered to be among the most skilled athletes, and their training was often part of military service—each of the five events in the pentathlon was thought to be useful in war or battle.
The modern version is said to require tasks of a 19th century military courier.
[Hot Air] Good question, and Lindsey Graham makes sure to frame it as a value applicable to all parties. "No party should be hiring foreign agents to look at their opponents," Graham told reporters this morning, "and we shouldn’t be taking meetings" with them, either.
For Democrats setting their hair on fire over Donald Trump’s comments this morning, the Senate Judiciary chair advises, they should first remember that Hillary Clinton and the DNC did exactly that in 2016 too. "I’m hoping that some of my Democratic colleagues will take more seriously," Graham argued, "that Christopher Steele was a foreign agent paid for by the Democratic Party to gather dirt on Trump."

[The Hill] The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday released a legal opinion backing up the Treasury Department's decision to reject a request by congressional Democrats for six years of President Trump's tax returns.
"While the Executive Branch should accord due deference and respect to congressional requests, Treasury was not obliged to accept the Committee’s stated purpose without question, and based on all the facts and circumstances, we agreed that the Committee lacked a legitimate legislative purpose for its request," Steven Engel, an assistant attorney general in DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel, said in the 33-page opinion.
The opinion comes after Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin last month rejected a subpoena from House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal (D-Mass.) demanding Trump's personal and business tax returns from 2013 through 2018.
When Mnuchin rejected Neal's request, he said he did so upon the advice of DOJ, and that the Justice Department would publish a legal opinion with its advice.
Both Mnuchin and Neal have said they expect the tax return issue to end up in the courts.

[FOXNEWS] A Massachusetts judge accused of helping an undocumented Democrat evade ICE has had $127,000 in legal fees paid by taxpayers, according to a report.
In addition, a court officer who was indicted along with the judge has benefitted from $2,500 in legal fees paid by the public, the report said.
Newton District Court Judge Shelley M. Richmond Joseph, 51, pleaded not guilty "Wudn't me." in April when she was arraigned in a Boston courtroom on obstruction-of-justice charges stemming from an incident that allegedly took place April 2, 2018.
Prosecutors claimed in court documents in April that Joseph, along with Court Officer Wesley MacGregor, 56, helped Jose Medina-Perez, a twice-deported undocumented Democrat with a runaway warrant for drunken driving in Pennsylvania, sneak out a back door ‐ eluding agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement -- after he appeared in court to be arraigned on drug charges, according to MassLive.com.
District Court Judge Shelley M. Richmond Joseph departs federal court, April 25, 2019, in Boston after facing obstruction of justice charges for allegedly helping a man in the country illegally evade immigration officials as he left her Newton, Mass., courthouse after a hearing in 2018. (News Agency that Dare Not be Named)
Medina-Perez, who had been barred from entering the U.S. until 2027, was caught by immigration officials about a month after the hearing. He is currently involved in deportation proceedings after previously being deported in 2003 and 2007, the Boston Herald reported.
After her indictment, Joseph was suspended without pay but filed an appeal to have her salary of $184,600 reinstated, the Boston Herald reported. MacGregor was being paid $83,344 a year but recently retired, the report said.
A crowdfunding site, meanwhile, shows that donors have pledged more than $60,000 to help Joseph pay legal bills, according to the Herald.
Taxpayers ceased picking up the tab for the judge when she was indicted, a court official told the newspaper. She faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

[BREITBART] The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on Thursday subpoenaed retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and former Trump Deputy Campaign Manager Rick Gates for documents and testimony.
Rep. Adam Schiff ...Showboating U.S. Representative for Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,'s 28th congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, Schiff has served in Congress since 2001. He currently serves as the chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. In a manner reminiscent of Joe McCarthy, on March 22, 2017, in a interview with Chuck Todd on MSNBC Schiff claimed there was “more than circumstantial evidence now” that Donald Trump's campaign colluded with Russia." Todd followed up by asking if he had seen direct evidence of collusion and Schiff responded that there was "evidence that is not circumstantial and is very much worthy of investigation.",.. (D-CA), the panel’s chairman, claims the pair have been uncooperative in Congress’s "oversight" investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
"As part of our oversight work, the House Intelligence Committee is continuing to examine the deep counterintelligence concerns raised in Special Counsel Mueller’s report, and that requires speaking directly with the fact witnesses," Schiff said in a statement. "Both Michael Flynn and Rick Gates were critical witnesses for Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation, but so far have refused to cooperate fully with Congress."
The Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Democrat continued: "That’s simply unacceptable. The American people, and the Congress, deserve to hear directly from these two critical witnesses. We hope these witnesses come to recognize their cooperation as being with the United States, not merely the Department of Justice."
Flynn and Gates are to turn over documents to the committee by June 26th and sit for an interview, under oath, on July 10th, the subpoena states.
Flynn admitted to making false statements to the FBI regarding conversations he shared with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in 2017, while Gates pleaded guilty to false statements and conspiracy charges related to political consulting efforts he and onetime Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort undertook for Ukraine. The trio was charged as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into now-debunked collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia.

Not just Germany, of course, as the article reveals. Canary-in-the-coal-mine style, it can be assumed that where attacks on Jews are downplayed, attacks on Christians are ignored altogether. So reset your calculations accordingly, dear Reader.
[Jpost] The annual al-Quds Day march in Berlin is often cited as a prime example of the rise of so-called new antisemitism in Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... : hatred of Jews in connection with Israel, often by people from Moslem societies.
Despite attempts by organizers in recent years to suppress some expressions of antisemitism, the march by hundreds of participants features frequent calls about killing Israelis, Zionist conspiracies and chants of "free Paleostine from the river to the sea." Flags of terrorist groups like Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", and Hezbollah are on display, and imams regularly preach anti-Semitic verses from the Koran to the crowd in Farsi and Arabic.

[RADIOSHABELLE] Four al-Shabaab ...... the personification of Somali state failure... snuffies were killed after an improvised bomb (IED) they were setting up apparently detonated prematurely in Kenya’s coastal Lamu region early Thursday, the police confirmed.
A number of snuffies were also injured in the 3 a.m. incident near a bridge in Lamu East, said Lamu security operation director Joseph Kanyiri.
"I can confirm that four of the snuffies died from an IED kaboom," he said. "It seems the device went off before they were done setting it up, killing three snuffies on the spot while another died a few minutes later. "Perhaps their mothers will miss them,...but I doubt it"
"Three badly charred bodies were recovered on the scene while another was picked up a few meters away. It seems he was trying to get away but succumbed to injuries," Kanyiri added.
The area falls within the infamous Boni forest where a security operation, dubbed Linda Boni, has been underway since 2015 to flush out snuffies there.
The snuffies have been using the forest to stage attacks on local civilians and security personnel.
Kanyiri said three loaded AK-47 magazines, 12 loose rounds of ammunition and a magazine pouch were also recovered at the scene.
The tourism resort region of the coast has been a target of terror attacks in the past, often staged by al-Shabaab bully boyz who waged a war against Kenya soon after it deployed its military to war-ravaged Somalia in October 2011.
Kenyan police believe al-Shabaab remains a major threat in the border areas, noting that the terror group’s targets include security personnel and establishments along the border as well as commuter vehicles plying routes along the border and coastal regions.

[DAWN] ISLAMABAD: A teenage girl was found dead under unexplained circumstances and the police have registered a murder case on suspicion. I love these stories that tell us absolutely nothing. I think of it as the "Nic Robertson" school of journalism.
The family of the girl brought the body of the 18-year-old girl to a hospital and told the staff that she had did away with herself. Poor thing hanged herself, did she? Or jumped off a tall building? Guzzled rat poison? Ate a suspicious cheese?
The hospital staff informed the police who reached the spot and inquired the matter and found it suspicious, said the police. The victim had three bullet injuries to her head and chest. A corpse with three bullet wounds to her head and chest? An obvious suicide. Us brilliant criminal investigators see that sort of stuff all the time.
The police took the body into custody for legal action after the family members, including the mother and a sister of the dear departed, failed to give satisfactory answers to the police queries. "How did she shoot herself three times in the head and/or chest, madame? Usually they stop after only one!"
"She was a very determined girl, Inspector Legume. Ask any of the neighbors!"
The police later visited the house of the victim and conducted a preliminary investigation. The incident took place in a locality where water buffaloes were being kept. Damn those water buffaloes! Every time you turn around, they're going on killing sprees!
A search was conducted for the weapon but it was not found at the spot or its surrounding. It also transpired that the family did not own or keep any weapon. "Nope. Got nothin' but the family pistol, and we loaned that to uncle Mahmoud a few days ago."
The family of the dear departed told the police that they heard sounds of gunshots and found the girl injured. "So of course we thought she done away with herself and then hid the gun. They do that all the time, you know!"
After an autopsy, the body was handed over to the family for burial. "What do you think, Doctor Quincy?"
"I think she's dead, Sam, but I'm not sure the deceased identified as a girl!"
The police said the father of the girl lived in Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... in connection with his job. So he's probably not a suspect.

I at first t thought the probing mainly consist of poking the dead girl with a stick to make sure she really was dead.
I'll be very surprised if anything actually came of this.
[DAWN] Sudan's ruling military has acknowledged that security forces committed violations when they moved in to disperse a protest sit-in camp outside the military headquarters in Khartoum last week. "Our bad"
The front man of the ruling military council, Gen Shams Eddin Kabashi, told news hounds at a news conference late Thursday that an investigation was underway and that several military officers were held in jug for alleged "deviation" from the action plan set by military leaders. "They were put on paid leave and R&R"
Kabashi did not elaborate on the violations beyond describing them as "painful and outrageous".
Over 100 people were killed in the capital and across Sudan in a sweeping crackdown last week, according to protest organisers. Protesters also said more than 40 bodies were pulled from the Nile River in Khartoum and taken away by security forces.
"We feel sorry for what happened," said Kabashi. "We will show no leniency and we will hold accountable anyone, regardless of their rank, if proven to have committed violations."

Subsequently, he was known as one of the most brutal supporters of the government of General Bashir. Quite simply, he is never to be trusted.

[DAWN] The United Arab Emirates said Friday that twin attacks on tankers in the Sea of Oman just weeks after four ships were damaged off the UAE marked a "dangerous escalation".
"The attack against the tankers in the Gulf of Oman is a worrying development and a dangerous escalation," the UAE minister of state for foreign affairs, Anwar Gargash, tweeted after Thursday's blasts.
Gargash also condemned a Yemeni rebel missile attack which maimed 26 civilians at an airport in southwestern Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. He said the "blatant attack on civilians" was only the latest in a spate of rebel assaults "undermining the UN's political work and sending a message of continuing violence and hostility".

[REUTERS] Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who represented porn star Stormy Daniels in lawsuits against U.S. President Donald Trump ...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election... , has been sued by a paraplegic former client who accused him of siphoning away a $4 million settlement he had won.
Geoffrey Johnson is seeking at least $9.5 million, plus punitive damages, from Avenatti and several former colleagues in his civil lawsuit filed with the Orange County Superior Court in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,.
"I never thought I would get victimized by my own attorney," Johnson, who uses a wheelchair, said at a presser on Thursday. "I wish he had just given me my money."
Johnson’s claims are also part of federal prosecutors’ criminal case against Avenatti, who has pleaded not guilty "Wudn't me." to wire fraud, bank fraud, extortion and other charges, including defrauding other clients, in California and New York.
"Mr. Johnson’s claims are categorically false and frivolous, and his case will be thrown out of court," Avenatti said in an email.

[DAWN] Insurance costs for ships sailing through the Middle East have increased by at least 10% after attacks on two tankers in the Gulf of Oman on Thursday, with the potential for costs to rise further as regional tensions escalate, ship insurers said. 10% = "soaring"? Ten percent since Thursday is.
The attacks have already stoked concerns about reduced flows of crude oil on one of the world's key shipping routes, pushing up oil prices by as much as 4.5%.
Some tanker companies have already suspended new bookings to the Middle East Gulf.
Freight rates for supertankers transporting oil from the Middle East Gulf to Asia were already close to a two-month high on Thursday at nearly $13,000 a day, up nearly $2,000 from Wednesday.
Every ship needs various forms of insurance, including annual war-risk cover as well as an additional 'breach' premium when entering high-risk areas. These separate premiums are calculated according to the value of the ship, or hull, for a seven-day period.
Ship insurers say the biggest vessels sailing through the Gulf area face additional costs of up to $200,000 for a single seven-day voyage, roughly twice as expensive as earlier this week

Advice for Wardens
If Gaza heats up and its attitude hardens,
Just crank up the gas and add more Dorot Gardens;
When its crazies sit down at the table like Jordan's,
Then dole out more cholent and loosen the cordons.
Not a product I use (sadly, I'm more about paying for INconvenience), but I've always admired (and envied) its creators, not so much for the idea as for the solid, stolid execution), and it's fun to recommend it to "cooking and politics are impossibly complicated and difficult" types. Anyone know offhand if the Walmart stuff's all Israeli? Shoot, I might buy a pile just to be an asshole on principle.
[ALMASDARNEWS] Ottoman Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Friday Ankara would take retaliatory moves against Washington should it introduce sanctions over the acquisition of Russian air defense systems S-400.
"If the United States begins to take negative steps, we have retaliatory moves. America has made a number of decisions, but we are not going to stay silent. If we see a negative attitude to us, we will respond proportionately," Cavusoglu said at a meeting with editors of the Anadolu news agency. "We will restrict the export of curly-toed shoes and moustache wax!"
He added that Ankara was strongly minded on the issue of acquiring S-400 and had no intention to backtrack.
The first reports Russia-The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... were in talks over an S-400 contract emerged in November 2016. Russia confirmed the conclusion of the contract on September 12, 2017. Ottoman Turkish Defense Minister Hulisi Akar said the S-400 will begin to be deployed in October 2019. The CEO of Russia’s corporation Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, said the value of the S-400 contract with Turkey stood at $2.5 million.
The United States has been taking active steps trying to upset the deal. Washington earlier warned Ankara should it purchase such weapon systems the United States might refuse to sell to Turkey its F-35 fighters.
S-400 Triumf is Russia’s medium and long-range air defense system meant to provide protection from attack and reconnaissance means and other air targets amid intensive fire and radio-electronic resistance.

[DAWN] A second person infected with the Ebola virus has died in Uganda, the health ministry said on Thursday, after a family exposed to the disease quietly crossed the border from Congo.
The first cross-border cases in this Ebola outbreak, the second-deadliest in history, have prompted a World Health Organisation expert committee to meet on Friday to discuss whether to declare a global health emergency. Such declarations almost always boost attention and donor funding.
Uganda health ministry front man Emmanuel Ainebyoona confirmed the death of the 50-year-old woman overnight. Her five-year-old grandson was the first confirmed death from Ebola in Uganda on Wednesday. The boy’s three-year-old brother also is infected.
Uganda’s health ministry said all members of the Congolese-Ugandan family, including a six-month-old baby, have been sent to Congo for monitoring and experimental treatments as part of clinical trials. There is no treatment as such for the virus which can spread quickly via close contact with bodily fluids of those infected and can be fatal in up to 90 per cent of cases.
More than 1,400 people have died in this outbreak declared in August in eastern Congo.
[Jpost] A World Health Organisation (WHO) advisory panel decided on Friday not to declare an international public health emergency over the Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda, saying that the criteria had not been met.
But in a statement, the independent panel urged neighboring "at risk" countries to improve their preparedness for detecting and managing exported cases, "as Uganda has done."
Authorities in Uganda, where two members of the same family died this week from the disease, have drawn up a list of 98 contacts, or contacts of contacts, potentially exposed to the Ebola virus, but only 10 are considered "high risk," WHO expert Dr Mike Ryan told a news conference at WHO headquarters in Geneva. The previous figure was 27 on Thursday.

We ignore this at our own risk. We can't effectively screen for this. Fever is present in only 50% of cases. How many from the Congo were dropped off inside our border?
[CNN] In the hours before the attack on the two tankers in the Gulf of Oman on Thursday, the Iranians spotted a US drone flying overhead and launched a surface-to-air missile at the unmanned aircraft, a US official told CNN.
The missile missed the drone and fell into the water, the official said.
Prior to taking fire, the American MQ-9 drone observed Iranian vessels closing in on the tankers, the official added, though the source did not say whether the unmanned aircraft saw the boats conducting an actual attack.
Still, it is the first claim that the US has information of Iranian movements prior to the attack.
The same official also said in the days prior to the attack, a US reaper drone was shot down in the Red Sea by what is believed to be an Iranian missile fired by Houthi rebels.
The Pentagon had tough words for Iran on Friday as the US continues to assert its claim that Tehran was responsible for the attack on the two oil tankers in international waters after releasing video footage its says shows an Iranian patrol boat removing an unexploded mine from one of the vessels' hulls.
"We're making sure that General McKenzie and the central command has the resources and the support that they need to conduct their missions," acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan said, adding that the US continues to work on building an international consensus that Iran was behind the attack.
The United Kingdom released a statement Friday saying it is "almost certain" that a branch of the Iranian military -- the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) -- attacked two tankers
The IRGC is an elite wing of the Iranian military that was established in the aftermath of the country's revolution in 1979. In April 2019, the US officially designated it as a foreign terrorist organization, a move which was rejected by authorities in Tehran.
No other state or non-state actor "could plausibly have been responsible," the statement added.

[DAILYCALLER] The Montgomery County Council faced backlash after a flag honoring America’s missing soldiers was replaced with a rainbow gay pride flag to celebrate LGBT Pride Month.
Led by the county’s first ever LGBT council member Evan Glass, the POW/MIA flag was removed from its flagstaff outside the Maryland county’s executive office building Monday morning, reported NBC Washington. The move drew immediate criticism.
"When I was in Vietnam, I was there six days before two guys were missing in action, and they still haven’t found their bodies," John "Bill" Williams, a Vietnam veteran, said to the television station.
The POW/MIA flag is officially recognized by the U.S. Congress "as the symbol of our Nation’s concern and commitment to resolving as fully as possible the fates of Americans still prisoner, missing and unaccounted for in Southeast Asia, thus ending the uncertainty for their families and the Nation." It consists of a silhouette of a prisoner of war (POW) with the words "You Are Not Forgotten."
"I wasn’t happy about it at all because the park is supposed to be a veterans park," he continued. "People died. Now they took it down and put another flag up."

I was to give a talk at a college recently. We got to talking about the whole LGBT thing in India. There was some pride thing organized by the media to unite parents and their gay offspring. I simply said in crude terms, "Pride. What pride ? A parent can be proud if the son is a soldier fighting for the nation. A man or woman, or even a eunuch can proudly rest in the fact if they have achieved something tangible, consequential in life. Or if you've contributed even one thing to the universe. But what are these parents proud of ? Proud that their sons like it up the ass ?" My language was even cruder.

[Dhaka Tribune] A rickshaw puller has been killed falling under the wheels of a bus after his rickshaw was knocked over by a CNG-run 3-wheeler.
The accident took place at Dhaka's Tejgaon area on Friday.
The dear departed was identified as Darog Ali, 40, hailing from Nokla upazila of Sherpur.
Confirming the matter, Tejgaon cop shoppe Sub-Inspector Sumit Kumar Shah said: "The incident took place near Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in Khamarbari area around 3pm.
Citing locals, the police official said the rickshaw was heading towards Farmgate area from Khamarbari when a CNG-run 3-wheeler knocked over his rickshaw. The rickshaw puller fell on the ground and was run over by a bus.
Police also detained the bus driver and seized his vehicle. However, there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened... the CNG-run 3-wheeler expeditiously departed at a goodly pace.

It's under the bus that you gew,
And there wasn't much fuss

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Russian Air Force bombed a jihadist high command meeting in the Idlib Governorate this week, the Arabic language service of the Sputnik News Agency reported.
According to the Sputnik report, the Russian Air Force, along with their Syrian partners, bombed Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State... ’s high command as they were meeting in the Idlib Governorate town of Taftanaz.
In particular, the Russian Air Force bombed the jihadist commanders inside the Taftanaz Airport, which was captured by the jihadist rebels in 2013.
On Thursday, a military source in the Hama Governorate said the Russian Air Force was given coordinates of a jihadist site by their Ottoman Turkish partners.
Sputnik did not specify if this was the bombing; however, it is very likely that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... notified the Russian Air Force of this Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham meeting.
Despite their disagreements about the Idlib operation, Turkey and Russia still share intel on the movements of certain terrorist groups operating in northwestern Syria.

Obviously a hillbilly plot to sap and impurify our precious bodily essences. That's why I drink only grain alcohol and distilled water. And tequila.
[IsraelTimes] More than 200 of the accounts originating in Iran ’directly engaged with discussions related to Israel,’ social network says.
Twitter said Thursday it had deleted nearly 4,800 suspect accounts linked to Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... that the company says secretly pushed that government’s agenda. "Including @ValerieJarrett"
Twitter is adding those accounts and their tweets to a public database it launched last year to track its battle against government-linked misinformation. It is also adding a smaller number of deleted accounts linked to Russia, Venezuela and the Catalonia region of Spain.
The social media giant removed 4,779 accounts "we believe all are associated with ‐ or directly backed by ‐ the Iranian government," a company statement said. Twitter said the removals are meant to prevent election interference while preserving valid political speech.
Social media firms like Twitter, Google and Facebook have been accused of allowing political propagandists to use their platforms to hijack elections, poison online debate and smear their opponents. But Twitter, in a blog post by its head of site integrity Yoel Roth, said "transparency is core to our mission" and vowed to fight "misleading, deceptive, and spammy behaviour."
The company confirmed last month it had removed about 2,800 of the Iranian accounts that were using fake personas.
Twitter launched the database in October. Anyone can download the datasets, which has some information redacted. Researchers can request access to get the unredacted documents.
Thursday’s release was the firm’s third such archive, representing more than 30 million tweets and a terabyte of media data from the just under 5,000 suspected accounts.
Most of the Iranian accounts were found to be spreading news stories angled to support Iranian geopolitical interests or to be fake user profiles designed to manipulate online debate.
A smaller sub-group, originating in Iran, exclusively "engaged with discussions related to Israel."

[DW] One of the main suspects behind the Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka has been extradited to the country. More than 250 people were killed in a string of attacks at churches and hotels across the island.
A man accused of being one of the ringleaders behind the Easter Sunday kabooms that killed more than 250 people in Sri Lanka on April 21 has been arrested, Interpol said Friday.
Hayathu Mohammed Ahmed Milhan, a 29-year-old Sri Lankan national, was arrested in the Middle East and has been extradited to Sri Lanka.
Interpol said he and four other men connected to the bombings were en route from Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... to the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo.
"The arrest and extradition of one of the key suspects in the Sri Lanka kabooms is an important step in the ongoing investigation, and one which Interpol is proud to have supported," Secretary General Jurgen Stock said.
No details were given as to where exactly in the Middle East the men were arrested.
SUSPECT AN INFLUENTIAL MEMBER OF LOCAL ISLAMIST GROUP
In the attacks, nine jacket wallahs targeted three churches, three luxury hotels and two other locations. Most of the victims were Catholic.
In the immediate aftermath, ethnic tensions flared in Sri Lanka, pitting majority Sinhala residents against the country's Moslem minority. At least one person was killed in the resulting festivities.
Though "Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... " (IS) grabbed credit for the attacks, the Sri Lankan government blamed local Islamist groups. The 29-year-old that was arrested is said to have been in line to take control of one of those groups, the National Thawheedh Jamaath (NJT).
The NJT, which draws on ultraconservative Wahhabi tenets associated with Saudi Arabia, was founded in 2014 by the radical preacher Mohammed Zaharan. Authorities say Zaharan was one of the suicide bombers in the coordinated attack.
Sri Lankan authorities have arrested some 2,000 people in connection with the attacks, 634 of whom are still in jug, while the rest have been released on bail.
'IS' SEEKING A FOOTHOLD IN INDIA
On Wednesday, Indian authorities announced that they had seized electronic devices and arrested seven men during raids on seven homes in the southern city of Coimbatore. Police suspect the men are part of an Islamist cell in the area.
In recent months, India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also arrested more than a dozen individuals thought to be planning attacks in New Delhi.
Last month, after festivities between Indian security forces and jihadis in Kashmire, "IS" claimed that it had established a "province" in India. The group has been seeking to establish a presence on the Indian subcontinent since being driven out of Iraq and Syria.
Relatedly, I highly recommend Dron66046’s comments on the subjects of radical Muslims and Jamaat organizations from a few days ago.

Hayathu Mohamed Milhan (30) alias Abu Seelan, the successor of Thowhid Jammat's leader Zahran Hashim, along with four of his associates - Mohamed Marsook (34,)Mohideen Sabri(47),Mohammed Ismail(29) and Aboosally Abubakar(37) were arrested and extradited from Jeddah to Colombo and reached this morning at 4 am (IST). The entire operation was possible only due to timely intervention by interpol and their coordination with Saudi police. According to Srilankan National Security officials, with the arrest of the Milhan’s group, the total number of suspects in their custody are 106 including 25 held by the Terrorist Investigations Division.
Also, vigilante groups have carried out their own 'cleanse' on certain known islamism prone areas and neighborhoods. A total of 12 people, including family members of the Easter conspirators have been lynched and numerous shops and businesses destroyed. The tamil and moor muslim community has had to leave many neighborhoods and ultimately the 'division' of society that politicians try to protect against by appeasing these people is complete.
Proves that the division always exists, whether you choose to see it or not. If you won't segregate and profile them, they will have you do it anyway, but at greater cost.
[DBSJEYARAJ] The police have begun questioning five persons, including Hayathu Mohamed Milhan, who had alleged links with the Easter Sunday suicide bombers.
The suspects arrested in the Middle East, following the April 21 attacks, were extradited yesterday.
They were the first Easter Sunday suspects to be extradited since the high profile investigation began. Police headquarters said that all suspects were hardcore members of the group responsible for the Easter attacks.
Police Superintendent attorney-at-law Ruwan Gunasekera said that a team of officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) brought the group of suspects from Jeddah.
The plane carrying them touched down at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at 4 am, Friday, SP Gunasekera said.
Police described Milhan as a key leader, who had been closely involved with Zahran Hashim, widely believed to be the leader of the now proscribed National Thowheed Jamaat (NTJ).
The police said that 30-year-old Milhan had been responsible for the killing of two police constables at Vavnativu, Batticaloa in Nov 2018. The suspect from Kattankudy had been one of Zahran’s closest associates and knew what was happening on the ground. Earlier police arrested two others, including Zahran’s driver over their involvement in Vavunativu killings. Since then, the police have recovered two weapons taken by Milhan from the murdered police officers.
Initially, the police blamed ex-LTTE cadres for Vavnativu killings. One ex- LTTE suspect arrested in connection with the double murder was recently released on a magisterial directive after the police informed Batticaloa court of the latest developments.
Police identified Milhan’s associates as 34-year-old Mohamed Marsook (Maradamunai), Mohideen Sabri (47) of Wellampitiya, Mohamed Ismail (29) of Kattankudy and Aboosally Abubakar (37) of Kebitigollewa.
The police said that with the arrest of the Milhan’s group, the total number of suspects in the custody of the CID was 77 whereas there were 25 held by the Terrorist Investigations Division.
The nom de jihad Abu Seelan, however, was much more fruitful.

Abu Seelan gives us this from SL Media, among others:
The armed wing leader Mohamed Milhan alias Abu Seelan was also said to have been ready for a suicide attack.
At the time Zahran and his group carried out the Easter Sunday attacks; Milhan had been to Mecca on a pilgrimage. According to information revealed through investigations, Milhan had been prepared to carry out a second spate of attacks. He was scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka for this attack on April 30. However, although he had arrived at the Saudi Airport, he had not boarded the flight and had been at the airport.
However, after the Interpol and the International Intelligence units had alerted the Saudi officials, Milhan who was hiding at the airport was apprehended the same day. Although the Saudi law enforcement officials had said they would deport Milhan on a flight that same evening, even after a week no action had been taken to have him deported. A special team comprising CID and SIS officers had gone to Saudi Arabia to bring Milhan back but they returned without success.
The Saudi Authorities had agreed to hand over Milhan to Sri Lanka after diplomatic overtures and the special CID team had gone to Saudi Arabia on June 11 based on that agreement, according to informed sources.

There's the facebook trail he left as Milhan. In 2009, a terse little record of conversations in translated arabic with an individual known only as Asad. Possibly the recruiter. Then the account lies unused. On medical and legal records the name is Ahmed Milhan Hayathu. Then on passport and network subscription it's Hayathul Mohamed. His associates from India refer to him as Ahmed, but in video threats he wants to be known as Abu...these rats. You get the picture. Can't say more.

He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Misrata forces, who are loyal to the Government of National Accord (GNA), were filmed fighting south of the capital.
The two parties reportedly clashed at Tripoli’s airport and al-Khula area, with multiple kabooms heard in different areas.
Last week, pro-Haftar forces also announced they had shot down a GNA warplane near Misrata, killing the pilot.
Libya’s Haftar campaign to capture Tripoli from the UN-backed GNA, launched in April, was met by the resistance of local gangs’ backing the UN-recognised government.

Did they start their push in the Halls of Montezuma?
[ALMASDARNEWS] During a presser at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, Ottoman Turkish President Recep Tayyip stated that his armed forces will retaliate if the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continues its attacks on the Ottoman Turkish observation posts in Idlib.
"The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...Qatar's colony in Asia Minor... will not remain silent if the Syrian regime continues to attack observation points in Idlib," Erdogan said.
The Ottoman Turkish military currently has 12 observation points in northwestern Syria. The Syrian Arab Army has accused the Ottoman Turkish military of using these observation posts to block their advance in northwestern Syria.
In regards to the situation in Manbij, Erdogan claimed the U.S. did not fulfill its promises to expel the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) from the town; however, he said they will continue with his nation’s plans there.
"Our partner, the U.S., did not keep its promise on Manbij [...] However, Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... it doesn’t mean that we give up on the Manbij issue, we keep all our plans and we will continue to do."
Erdogan is scheduled to meet with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... in Japan later this month; they will likely discuss the ongoing situation in northwestern Syria.

[DAWN] Indian police said they have arrested a Facebook friend of the suspected criminal mastermind of the Easter Sunday kabooms in Sri Lanka for spreading the ideology of the murderous MoslemIslamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group on social media to recruit young people to participate in a terrorist attack in southern India.
A criminal case was filed against Mohammed Azarudeen after authorities raided his home in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, according to the National Investigation Agency, which oversees counterterrorism efforts.
Authorities conducted six other raids and took five other people in for questioning, it said in a statement Friday. It said Azarudeen was friends on Facebook with Zahran Hashim, the alleged leader of the suicide kabooms in Sri Lanka on Easter that killed more than 250 people.
The statement said Azarudeen and other members of his group shared "radical contents" attributed to Hashim on a Facebook page.
Hashim, who died along with six others after detonating bombs at three churches and three high-end hotels in Sri Lanka, was known for violent speeches in the Tamil language on social media that Moslem community leaders said they had flagged to authorities long before the attack.
Indians from Tamil Nadu share cultural and linguistic ties with Sri Lanka's ethnic Tamil community.
Police were investigating suspected sympathisers of the murderous Moslem Islamic State group in southern India when they stumbled onto the Easter plot. India shared intelligence about the people involved in the plan and some of the targets with officials in Sri Lanka at least three times before the April 21 attack.

One good thing about being a third world police state is, we get to go medieval on these elements. When we say 'questioning', it can imply anything from a sit down and chat, to hours of inventive assault.

I think what we need is a program like this: All self-declared "citizens of the world (AOC, Bath House, Jawn Kerry and so on) get a brand new CotW passport, a plane ticket to Brussels and a big package of high end hotel and shopping vouchers. Then they will get on a nice shiny airliner that will be flown by remote control and fueled just enough to reach the mid-Atlantic. Wash and repeat.

As I've said before, the LGBT movement probably originated in the idle minds of entrenched communists and actuated some dumb mothers into activism for their darling boys. They grafted their cause into the feminist movement, and gradually hijacked it.
Today the LGBT thing overshadows the feminist thing. Even the genuine movement for emancipation and safety of women in a man's world has been brushed aside by mamma's boys and attention seeking mentally ill narcissists. The feminists still fought with womanly grace and dignity (even if such a fight itself is pointless). They fought for a society in which sex did not decide authority or preferential treatment and where men could not treat them as unequals.
The LGBTSQSVRwhatevers fight like aggressive men for preferential treatment. Because they are basically... well, men. It's unfortunate to see so many dumb women marching rank and file into a social conflict that ultimately unfairly empowers only men in the end. Men with penises surgically altered (yeeugh!) or wearing pantyhose, women with more testosterone in them than Schwarzenegger, all weirdos but mainly men.

The comments are a gold mine of people taking the piss out of the writer for utter hypocrisy. A couple of other feminists show up and start calling everyone misogynists and get their asses handed to them by cold, rational arguments. It's hilarious. An hour well spent.

Everyone is annoyed with the ragtag remnants if the ISIS caliphate...
[Rudaw] Iraqi authorities' decision to punish the families of those people who had allegedly joined the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. (ISIS) is preventing internally displaced persons (IDPs) from returning to their homes, forcing them to accept "dire conditions" of camps, a human rights ...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you... monitor said in a report, released on Friday.
"Iraqi authorities have put in place a system that has allowed communities, security forces, and government agencies to collectively punish families whose relatives were allegedly linked to ISIS," said Belkis Wille, senior researcher for Iraq at Human Rights Watch (HRW).
"This system has put these families in a purgatory that prevents them from returning home, imprisons them in camps, and forces them to endure dire conditions that portend bleak futures for their children," she added.
HRW said that "an estimated 1.8 million people still remain displaced" as a result of the five-year conflict between Iraqi forces and ISIS. According KRG figures, last updated in April, the Kurdistan Region hosts 1.12 million IDPs.
This is not the first time HRW has accused Iraqi authorities of blocking the IDPs from returning home.
In June 2018, the organization published a report documenting alleged cases where Iraqi forces prevented IDPs from Anbar province from returning to their homes.
"It is unacceptable for soldiers to arbitrarily block residents from going home, in direct contradiction to the central government’s orders to facilitate safe and voluntary returns," said Lama Fakih, deputy Middle East director at HRW in the 2018 report.
According to a report from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), last updated on April 30, over four million IDPs have returned to their place of origin. The IOM estimates that around 1.7 million remain displaced.
Rudaw English contacted relevant Iraqi authorities for comment on HRW's report, but they were unavailable.
ISIS took control of large swathes of Iraqi territory in 2014, forcing millions of people to flee to other areas in Iraq, with many displaced to the Kurdistan Region.
The Iraqi government announced the territorial defeat of ISIS in December 2017. The liberation of the areas also led to more displacements, as civilians fled in an attempt to avoid being trapped in the battle between security forces and ISIS.
The Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... an Union (EU) announced on Friday that it was committing an additional 2 million euros to the IOM in Iraq "to make critical infrastructure improvements in camps for internally displaced persons", bringing their total contribution to IOM Iraq to 5 million euros for 2019.
In mid-May, Kurdistan Regional Government’s Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC) and the IOM held a conference in Erbil, discussing "the obstacles before the return of IDPs and finding a mechanism to establish durable solutions for those who are not able to return."
Hoshang Mohammed, director of the JCC, said in the event that all relevant partners had to work on "removing security, financial, and services-related obstacles for the return of the IDPs."
Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi and then KRG Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani, met in April to discuss improving coordination between Erbil and Baghdad for responding to the needs of IDPs.
The KRG has shouldered the lion’s share of the financial burden ‐ paying 75 percent of the $162 million monthly costs. International organizations cover the remaining 25 percent.

[CNN] A House panel will hold a hearing next week on the topic of reparations for slavery.
The House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties is set to hold a hearing June 19 on legislation that would establish a commission to study the consequences and impacts of slavery and make recommendations for reparations proposals. The hearing is titled "H.R. 40 and the Path to Restorative Justice."
The bill is sponsored by Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee ......the clownish U.S. Representative-for-life for Texas's 18th congressional district, serving since 1995. The district includes most of inner-city Houston. She is noted for her lack of tact and intellect. She is a member of the Democratic Party, and almost its epitome...... of Texas. The bill would create a commission of 13 members who would compile a report of findings and recommendations on the issue and send it to Congress. Former Democratic Rep. John Conyers of Michigan, who served until 2017, had previously introduced legislation on reparations repeatedly over the span of multiple sessions of Congress.
For decades, reparations for slavery has mostly been an idea debated outside the mainstream of American political thought.
Writer Ta-Nehisi Coates put a spotlight on the subject with a widely-read piece, "The Case for Reparations," in 2014 in The Atlantic.
"The real issue is whether and how this nation can come to grips with the legacy of slavery that still infects current society," Jackson Lee said in a statement in January.

Since many northern soldiers gave their lives in the course of freeing the slaves call it a wash. In other words Rep. Jackson, time to shut your pie hole and forget about it. Besides, it was your side (Dems) who was perpetuating slavery at the time (and since too).
[REDSTATE] So far the media has managed to avert its eyes and studiously ignore a major story of corruption and malfeasance in Congress because to cover said story would totally destroy a narrative and expose them to allegations that they are racist.
At the epicenter of this tale is the pustulent and rather dim Elijah Cummings ...Representative-for-life from Maryland, representing half of Baltimore City, which makes his district ultra-safe, and most of Howard County, which is out-populated by the city. His shiny pate is the reason we pronounce the city name Baldymore. Cummings' politix are so liberal they're tedious, nor is he any more honest than the next seedy professional pol... from my current state of residence. Cummings is your typical product of the Maryland Democrat machine. The reek of corruption is always near him but never quite attaches to him because he is, as I said, the product of the Maryland Democrat machine and therefore bulletproof. Now all of that may be getting ready to change.
In late May, the National Legal and Policy Center filed an IRS ...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies... complaint against Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, who is the wife of Elijah Cummings.
The Complaint describes a score of apparent Internal Revenue Code violations, including prohibited private benefit and inurement of the Cummings. CGPS has received millions in grants from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and, in late 2017, was granted a million-dollar contract from the General Services Administration. The funds were purportedly provided to fight childhood obesity. The Complaint asks the IRS to investigate whether "its organizers are getting fat off the grants."
At the same time she heads CGPS, Mrs. Cummings heads a for-profit consulting firm called Global Policy Solutions, LLC, whose operations appear to have been indistinguishable from those of CGPS. The two entities have shared office space, telephones, etc., all of which are flagrant violations of the Internal Revenue Code.
With a Republican, the Washington Post would have been all over this, in this case, the Post sent out a stenographer to take down the denial:
"It appears a conservative front group and a news outlet . . . are pushing a hit piece filled with faulty research, lies and innuendo in an attempt to tarnish my personal reputation, professional work and public service as well as that of my spouse," Rockeymoore Cummings said in a statement, calling the effort a "distasteful attempt to intimidate my family into silence at such a pivotal moment in our nation’s history."
She declined to answer follow-up questions about her nonprofit’s work, donors and contracts.

[Ynet] Belgium has taken back six orphaned children of Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... members from Syria, the U.S.-backed militia which is holding thousands of hard boyz and their family members said late on Thursday.
"This must be extended to men and women in our camps and prison, not only children," Mustafa Bali, a front man for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said on Twitter, announcing Belgium's move.
The SDF controls the quarter of Syria east of the Euphrates river after driving back Islamic State in a series of advances from 2015 that culminated in March with the group's defeat at its last territorial enclave in Baghouz, near the Iraqi border.
However, we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by... it says it is unable to indefinitely hold the thousands of Islamic State fighters and members and their families who surrendered during its offensive.
The self-administration of North and East Syria [NES] detailed that the Belgian delegation had revealed they would provide direct humanitarian support more directly in the future and more swiftly.
Any help provided to the Kurdish officials is much needed. There are approximately 74,000 people in al-Hol camp. This is more than the camp can take, and thus residents are faring through very hopeless conditions.
The Belgian delegation also expressed support for growing suggestions to establish an international tribunal in Syria for ISIS members.
Belgian FM Didier Reynders told news hounds on Wednesday in Belgium that he hoped the transfer would occur "in the coming days or weeks," according to Het Laatste Nieuws (HLN), a Belgian daily newspaper.
He also noted that Belgium, in principle, has "memorandum of understanding" with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to repatriate the children, specifically mentioning the Iraqi Kurdistan Region’s capital of Erbil.
The KRG was not able to immediately confirm the agreement to Rudaw English. HLN added the deal refers to children up to 12 years old with a priority given to orphans.

Article didn't specify if she was second worst or just first loser.
[Rudaw] The Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group is targeting women from the millennial generation as it seeks new recruits after the fall of its so-called caliphate, the EU's police agency said Friday.
In a report on ISIS propaganda focused on women, Europol said that this could "pave the way" for a change in the role of female jihadists in future terror organizations.
"We are talking about especially millennials," Manuel Navarette, Head of Europol's Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... an Counter Terrorism Centre, told news hounds in The Hague as he unveiled the report.
"IS propaganda is focused on women between 16 to 25, a group more vulnerable to these activities and they have access to social media. IS has adapted to the new target".
ISIS had in particular assigned new and "more active" roles to female jihadists within the organization, while keeping its fundamentalist ideas about the position of women in society.
"They kept somehow the traditional role given to women: being supportive, taking care of men," Navarette said. "But then they start asking women to take a different role, to assist as a doctor, to assist in a different way, not only as the traditional housewife."
The Islamic State's "caliphate" in Iraq and Syria fell in March but the group remains active in several countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, as well as still inspiring jihadists through an online presence.
The international community is also torn over what to do with around 4,000 foreign women and 8,000 children linked to IS who remain stranded in Syria and Iraq.
The fear is that the targeting by ISIS of women for propaganda could pay dividends for jihadists in years to come.
"The worry is that this increase in the involvement of women could pave the way for potentially major changes in the role of jihadi women in the future," the Europol report said.
Navarette said there had been an increase in arrests of women connected to jihadism in La Belle France and Britannia in particular.
"There could be a kind of relation between the propaganda machine of IS asking, demanding, for more active of specific groups of women and kiddies to be a part of terrorism," he added.
Europol director Catherine De Bolle said that despite the findings law enforcement agencies needed to take a "gender neutral approach" looking at the reasons for radicalisation.
"It's the way to paradise, for both men and women," she added.

Women who fall for this shit are as deserving of their fate as the men. Darwin still wins.
