The Uber-Underclass
America's political system is coming apart. Cities are once again burning because of the plight of what an older class of liberals used to call the underclass. They don't use that term anymore, and not just because lefties have to refresh their terminology to keep the educated class they have wrapped around their media outlets from realizing that the ideology they treat as progressive is older than the telegraph, but because the underclass consists of ghetto kids making nothing and NBA players.

When the star of an HBO series is out there protesting on the front lines, when the sons and daughters of millionaires go to war with cops who couldn't afford to buy their shoes with a week's salary, when Black Lives Matter, an organization backed by the Ford Foundation, one of the country's wealthiest institutions, organizes the burning and looting of family shops, the underclass is a laughable term.

The uber-underclass acts as if social mobility doesn't exist when it's been the beneficiary of the single greatest effort at subsidized social mobility in human history. There's hardly an institution, corporation, or government agency that hasn't put diversity in its mission statement. Contractors and colleges move minority applicants to the front of the line in this oppressive racist nation of ours.

Those predatory corporations who, in the lefty narrative, are grinding the bones of the underclass, are out front cheering on the very people who are looting their stores. "Smash us," cry the capitalists.

The uber-underclass cries that it's being oppressed, but who, besides the occasional police officer, who has undergone more diversity training than most college graduates, has body cams welded to every part of his uniform, and knows that one single smartphone video clip can destroy his life, is oppressing anyone? The government, the corporations, the media, academia, Bueller, Bueller?

Is there a single institution in modern American life that isn't obsessively cheering on the rioters? The best evidence of that is that there's nobody standing between them and anything they want to take except the occasional exhausted officer nervously holding a shield in front of his face while facing a mob howling for his blood. The only form of oppression that still exists is one of those overworked public servants making chump change in exchange for risking his life to protect everyone else.

...We want to be good people. Not really in the biblical sense or any traditional American sense. We want to be the heroes of a Hollywood movie. We want to be the guys who sit in the balcony cheering for the underdog, not the smug fat rednecks or the capitalists in top hats who like things the way they are. We want to fight for change, and a better world, and all those things that fit so well on bumper stickers. Even the best of us is often quite stupid that way. We can't help it. It's our culture.

US appeals court skeptical of bid by ex-Trump adviser to end criminal case
[YNet] - A U.S. appeals court on Friday appeared skeptical of the Justice Department's unprecedented effort to drop a criminal case against President Donald Trump's former adviser Michael Flynn, signaling no quick end to the politically charged prosecution.

U.S. Circuit Judge Karen Henderson, an appointee of President George H.W. Bush, said the lower-court judge overseeing the case was not a "rubber stamp" and there was nothing wrong with U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan hearing arguments about whether to let the Justice Department drop the case.

Flynn twice pleaded guilty to the charge the Justice Department is now trying to drop.

#4  The appeals court has said it will return a decision on December 9. Seems like they are delaying things past election time to keep Flynn quiet prior to the election. What's the make-up of this court? In my non-lawyer mind, the case seems like a slam dunk no brainer. It also seems like they are trying to protect Sullivan rather than render justice to Flynn.

#1  I'd love to own one of these or a SIG MPX. Problem is the new cartridge scene is moving so fast buying a 9mm carbine may get you left in the dust. Yes, 9mm is cheap and universally available, but if I had my druthers right now, I'd want an AR pistol that shoots 22 TCM. Imagine that with AP or Glaser Safety Slugs coming out at 2800 FPS. Especially now that buffer tubes are no longer necessary.

Dems Reach Out To Blacks With Solemn Performance Of The Cha-Cha Slide
[Babylon Bee] WASHINGTON, D.C.—The world is hurting right now, and everyone knows the only way to heal the wound is for politicians to pander awkwardly to various demographics.

To that end, the Democrats said they wanted to show their blackness by performing the "Cha-Cha Slide," a popular song among white people wanting to show their blackness.

As the music started playing and horrified reporters looked on, Pelosi introduced the song and dance: "We want black people to know we see them and we understand them -- so now, we're going to get funky! Everybody clap your hands!"

All the Democrats clapped their hands but not a single one clapped on the right beat.

"Slide to the left!" shouted Nancy Pelosi along with the music. "Now slide to the right!" Most of the Democrats refused to go to the right, only going as far left as possible, making some of them run into each other and topple over like elderly, brittle bowling pins.

Democrat leaders ran into further problems when Mr. C The Slide Man told everyone to "go down low" and they had trouble getting back up.

After the song was over, Pelosi began rapping the theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to everyone's horror.

The Queen reveals her all-time favourite horses to H & H
[Horse & Hound] Following last week’s wonderful pictures of The Queen riding one of her beloved Fell ponies for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown was imposed — H&H brings readers an exclusive insight into Her Majesty’s relationship with her horses.

This week’s (11 June) edition of H&H is a royal special, featuring both The Queen and her granddaughter Zara Tindall, released to coincide with Her Majesty’s official birthday, and available to buy online and in shops.

The Queen reveals through Horse & Hound her favourite horses of all time; those she has ridden and those she has watched succeed in the show ring, on the racecourse and in eventing.

Her Majesty was pictured on Monday 1 June in Windsor Home Park, riding 14-year-old Fell Balmoral Fern. Fells and Highlands are among those revealed as her favourites of a lifetime spent with horses, in a selection that also covers a European Championship-winning eventer, a dual Classic winner, and a stallion whose stable name was The Monster.

North Korea joins Democrats in seeing no point in maintaining Pres. Trump ties
[Aljazeera] North Korea sees little use in maintaining a personal relationship between leader Kim Jong Un and United States President Donald Trump if Washington sticks to hostile policies, state media reported on Friday - two years after the two men held their first summit.

Policies from the US prove Washington remains a long-term threat to the North Korean state, and its people and North Korea will develop more reliable military forces to counter that threat, Foreign Minister Ri Son Gwon said in a statement carried by state news agency KCNA.

U.S. intel viewed Steele dossier as ‘highly politically sensitive' and mostly uncorroborated
[Just the News] Declassified memo show intelligence community's assessment in December 2016, two months after FBI had already used dossier to support FISA warrant.

Two months after the FBI used Christopher Steele’s dossier to support a warrant targeting the Trump campaign, U.S. intelligence officially declared his evidence was "highly politically sensitive," minimally corroborated and not worthy of including in its analysis of Russian election interference, a newly declassified document shows.

The so-called Annex A of the official Russian election interference Intelligence Community Assessment was declassified this week by Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, providing the most definitive proof to date that the U.S. intelligence in December 2016 as President Obama was leaving office was wary of a dossier that was essential to the FBI probe into now-disproven Trump-Russia collusion.

"An FBI source, using both identified and unidentified sub sources, volunteered highly politically sensitive information from the summer to the fall of 2016 on Russian influence efforts aimed at the US presidential election. We have only limited corroboration of the source reporting in this case and did not use it to reach the analytic conclusions of the CIA/FBI/NSA assessment," the appendix stated.

The intelligence community assessment also warned that Steele appeared to have leaked his information to the media just before Trump was elected Nov. 8, 2016.

"The source’s reporting appears to have been acquired by multiple western press organizations starting in October," the annex stated.

The annex confirms Republicans’ long-held suspicions that the intelligence community saw the Steele dossier as suspect even as the FBI portrayed its allegations as verified to a FISA court starting in October 2016.

Hezbollah money launderer dead under murky circumstances
[Jpost] Top-ranking Hezbollah commander Hassan Mahmoud Farhat was reported dead under circumstances that are not clear at the time of this writing, KAN tweeted on Thursday evening.

Sources close to Hezbollah report that Farhat was killed in accident in his village in southeast Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...

#2  June 2019: Paraguayan authorities extradited Nader Mohamad Farhat yesterday to Miami, where he faces criminal charges of money laundering. Farhat’s case should reveal the magnitude of $ laundering in the Tri-Border Area of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay, including the role played by Lebanese Hezbollah.
A Miami federal court will decide whether Farhat will be tried there or in New York where he faces charges as an alleged co-conspirator involving another Paraguayan national of Lebanese origin, Mahmoud Ali Barakat. He and three others are accused of assisting in laundering drug monies inside the U.S.
Court documents refer to Farhat as a “known money launderer for narcotics organizations and other illicit organizations,” while media reports allege a possible connection to Hezbollah.

Defund police? Democrats lead list of those taking cash from police unions
[FoxNews] Numbers published by Open Secrets, which is run by the watchdog Center for Responsive Politics, shows that among current members of the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, a handful of Democrats have received more campaign donations from police groups since 1994 than any other current members by a significant margin.

The top two recipients of contributions from police groups in the Senate are Sens. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. The top two in the House are Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., D-N.J., and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md.

The numbers come as Democrats in Congress are working to advance the Justice in Policing Act, a bill that would ban police from using chokeholds; pare back "qualified immunity," a doctrine that limits officers liability when they use force on the job; set up a federal task force to prosecute police misconduct cases and more.

Joe and Bernie stand with the police, more or less, and against their party, which should prove amusing.

Let Seattle stew in its own excrement
[American Thinker] - The news out of Seattle is that Antifa has captured a seven-block area in central Seattle that they've dubbed the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ for short.

Given the protests (read: riots) across the country over the past two weeks and the feckless (at best) handling of said riots by leftist mayors and governors, that Seattle permitted this to occur is not surprising.

Seattle's Mayor, Jenny Durkan all-but encouraged the takeover of her city

... it's not about justice. It's about rubbing raw the sores of discontent, as Saul Alinsky asserted in Rules for Radicals. Rubbing these sores, as their tactic goes, energizes the most radical elements of the movement.

Seattle suburbanites have been tacitly down with the struggle, as they have wanted to present their "wokeness" bona fides to their more radical leftist brethren. These woke suburbanites need to be exposed.

Let Antifa have as much land mass as it can acquire through the weekend, invite as many of its brethren to enter the autonomous zone as it wishes, then cordon off their booty and blockade any and all raw materials and supplies from entering the, ahem, zone.

Setup a checkpoint, à la East Berlin, and require any and all those wishing to return to America to pledge allegiance to our Constitution and our flag. Those unwilling to re-enter civil society can remain in the autonomous zone until they come to their senses or perish.

Seattle suburbanites need to be made to suffer for the consequences of their choices at the ballot box. You want to subvert our Constitution, attempt to run roughshod over civil society? Pay the price.

Anyone who leaves must be thoroughly vetted and if participated in this insurrection, charged to the full extent of the law. Give them what they want, good and hard, and sell tickets to the resulting circus.

Magpie,

As I understand it, it's a combination of several things - unending deployments, micromanaging, mandatory fun, charity, and volunteer work, and essentially seven day a week work schedules for a lot of the maintainers. Got out 22 years ago, and it was starting to go south then - we ran the guys who won Desert Storm out in the Great Drawdowns, and what was left was all too often MASH's Major Burns with actual authority.

Europe
European Court of Human Rights Faults France over Israel Boycott Convictions
On the other side.
[AnNahar] Europe's top rights court ruled Thursday that French judges were wrong to convict activists who staged a "boycott Israel" demonstration at a supermarket, saying the protest could not be considered an incitement to discrimination.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ordered French authorities to pay each of the applicants 7,380 euros in damages, and a further 20,000 euros to jointly cover legal expenses.

Eleven members of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement in La Belle France, known as "Collectif Palestine 68," were charged after displaying Israeli-origin products and urging clients not to buy them at a store near Mulhouse, eastern La Belle France, on two occasions in 2009 and 2010.

The protests, which came a few months after a flare-up in fighting between Israeli forces and Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, murderous Moslems in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
, echoed longstanding calls by NGOs to denounce Israel's policies, including its settlements in Paleostinian territories.

The Israeli government has denounced the boycott movement as an attempt to undermine its legitimacy, and has banned entry to foreigners who support the calls.

Though the activists were initially cleared of charges after arguing it was a case of free speech, an appeals court overturned the ruling and found them guilty of inciting people to discriminate against products from Israel.

They were ordered to pay a joint fine of 1,000 euros ($1,140) to three civil parties, including the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism (LICRA).

But the Strasbourg-ECHR said the French judges should have taken into account the fact that "the applicants had not been convicted of making racist or antisemitic remarks or of inciting hatred or violence."

Political speech is by nature controversial, the court said in its ruling, but remains a legitimate public interest, "provided that it did not cross the line and turn into a call for violence, hatred or intolerance."

Amnesia Amnesty International, which in 2018 saw one of its US employees denied access to the West Bank over its support of the boycott, hailed the European court's ruling.

"Today's landmark decision sets a significant precedent that should stop the misuse of anti-discrimination laws to target activists campaigning against human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
violations perpetrated by Israel against Paleostinians," Marco Perolini of Amnesty La Belle France said in a statement.

About 10 dead in jihadist attack on Ivory Coast border post
[AlAhram] Suspected jihadists attacked a frontier post on Ivory Coast's border with Burkina Faso
...The country in west Africa that they put where Upper Volta used to be. Its capital is Oogadooga, or something like that. Its president is currently Blaise Compaoré, who took office in 1987 and will leave office feet first, one way or the other...
overnight, killing around 10 people, security sources said Thursday.

It is the first jihadist assault on Ivorian soil since March 2016, when a raid on the southeastern beach resort of Grand-Bassam left 19 people dead.

The raid "targeted an Ivorian frontier post at Kafolo," where an anti-jihadist operation had just ended, one Ivorian source said, in an account confirmed by a Burkinabe source.

An Ivorian source said 12 people were killed -- 11 soldiers and a gendarme -- while six people were maimed and two were listed as missing.

Another Ivorian source put the toll at nine dead, while a Burkinabe source said 10 troops, a gendarme and an assailant had been killed, and two people were missing.

Security analysts have long worried that a jihadist revolt in the Sahel that began in Mali in 2012 is spreading towards coastal states on the Gulf of Guinea.

Ivory Coast shares a 550-kilometre (340-mile) border with Burkina Faso, where jihadist violence has claimed nearly 1,000 lives and forced 860,000 people from their homes over the past five years.

The latest attack began at around 3 am, and took place in the same zone of northeast Ivory Coast where the two countries last month launched a ground-breaking joint operation to flush out jihadists.

"Operation Comoe," named after a river that flows through the two countries, led to the death of eight suspected jihadists, the capture of 38 others and the destruction of a "terrorist base" at Alidougou in Burkina Faso, the Ivory Coast army said on May 24.

The operation was launched after jihadists were spotted last year to the north of Ivory Coast's Comoe national park.

Security sources say they are jihadists operating in Burkina Faso who hole up in Ivory Coast.

The Grand-Bassam attack four years ago was claimed by al-Qaeda's North African affiliate, al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).
The Jerusalem Post adds:
Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso launched a joint military operation last month to the tackle expanding threat from Islamist jihadists linked to al Qaeda and the Islamic State in the Sahel region.

Exploited Again – Financial Contributions to Black Lives Matter are Being Funneled to Biden Campaign
[The Conservative Treehouse] Some smart sleuthing by Raheem Kassam and Natalie Winters at The National Pulse shows the donations made to Black Lives Matter actually go to ActBlue. From there ActBlue takes those contributions and sends them forward to the Joe Biden Campaign.

After reaching the BLM homepage, which features a "Defund The Police" petition front and center, if a user chooses to donate, they’re rerouted to a site hosted by ActBlue and prompted with the message: "We appreciate your support of the movement and our ongoing fight to end state-sanctioned violence, liberate Black people, and end white supremacy forever."

Joe Biden is the top beneficiary of the ActBlue’s fundraising efforts.

This means donations to Black Lives Matter are actually the primary funding mechanism for Joe Biden 2020; and that explains why national democrats (Pelosi) and the DNC have changed their position on BLM as an activist organization, and now embrace them openly.

The financial arrangement also further solidifies the purpose for BLM (Obama/Holder) to align with the AME Church network (Clyburn, Sharpton, et al) which facilitates the DNC agenda (Biden, Perez, et al).

The 2020 financial problem that was being faced by the Democrat National Committee was solved through the use of Black Lives Matter as a funding mechanism for the 2020 election. The more money the resistance movement can push into their BLM advocacy, the more money that actually flows into the DNC for 2020.

As of May 21st, ActBlue has donated $119,253,857 to the "Biden for President" effort.

It’s a smart workaround and provides a back-door for all of the Hollywood and social influence crowd to use. By supporting donations to Black Lives Matter, the leftist movement writ large is essentially funding the DNC. The BLM movement is simply a vessel for them to use and exploit.

DOJ reveals striking details of riot arrests, including helicopter laser strikes and precinct arson
[FoxNews] The Justice Department revealed Wednesday it has filed dozens of charges for riot-related federal offenses in the aftermath of George Floyd's in-custody death -- including for aiming a green laser pointer at an FBI aircraft overhead in Milwaukee, torching the Third Precinct police station in Minneapolis, and impersonating a U.S. Marshal in Orlando.

The crackdown comes as President Trump has repeatedly demanded a return to "LAW & ORDER" in the country. Attorney General Bill Barr exclusively told Fox News this week that "focused" investigations of the left-wing Antifa are underway, as well as a review of the role of right-wing groups.
So much for the memo from FBI Director Wray.

3 Charged in Arson at Minnesota Store During Rioting
[NTD] Three people were charged in connection with a fire at a St. Paul store during rioting in the wake of George Floyd’s death. Samuel Elliott Frey, Bailey Marie Baldus, and McKenzy Dunn, all 19, were charged with conspiracy to commit arson. All three were described as white in the criminal complaints.

On May 28 a fire was started at a health and nutrition store in St. Paul, which forms the Twin Cities with Minneapolis, causing damage to the store. Investigators with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) obtained video surveillance of people inside the store that night and, with the help of the public, were able to identify the teenagers.

The ATF and FBI recently released images of others accused of arson in the Twin Cities in late May into early June, asking members of the public to share tips.

A 23-year-old man was also charged this week in connection with an arson on May 28. Two others were charged with arson and possession of Molotov cocktails for allegedly setting fire to the Dakota County Western Service Center in Apple Valley, Minnesota, while an Illinois man was charged earlier this month for civil disorder, carrying on a riot, and possession of unregistered destructive devices for allegedly being involved in the mayhem in Minneapolis.

In Dallas, Trump sticks up for ‘decent Americans' being labeled as racists or bigots
[Texas Tribune] President Donald Trump returned to George Floyd’s home state for the first time since he was killed, calling what happened in Minneapolis to Floyd a "disgrace" and pledging to push for reforms to policing nationwide while also slamming efforts to defund police departments.

Trump said at a meeting at the Gateway Church in Dallas that the "radical efforts to defund, dismantle and disband the police" are the wrong way to go and he’ll push in the opposite direction.

"We must invest more energy and resources in police training," Trump said. "We have to respect our police and take care of our police. They’re protecting us, and if they’re allowed to do their job, they’ll do a great job."
Too late for some cops.
Trump said he knows there are some "bad apples" in any line of work, but "I can tell you there are not too many of them in the police." Trump said he’s working on an executive order that would set standards for the use of force by police, including an emphasis on de-escalation tactics.

"We are going to make sure our police are well trained, perfectly trained, have the best equipment," Trump said.

But in his first trip to Texas since the coronavirus outbreak, Trump's message went beyond law enforcement. The White House billed the hour-long meeting as a discussion on how to help minority communities and improve opportunities for all Americans.
A real divider we got here!
Trump insisted he's been working on programs to help what he called the "forgotten men and women" of America since he took office. He pointed to criminal justice reforms he signed last year, increased funding for historically black colleges and universities under his administration and record low unemployment among black communities before COVID-19 hit the U.S.

"Americans are good and virtuous people," Trump said. "We have to work together to confront bigotry and prejudice wherever they appear, but we'll make no progress and heal no wounds by falsely labeling tens of millions of decent Americans as racists or bigots."

#1  Madkhali was not a term familiar to me, so I did a search. From the Economist last November:

FOR MONTHS General Khalifa Haftar, Libya’s most powerful warlord, has besieged Tripoli, struggling to wrest control of the capital from the UN-backed “government of national accord” (GNA). More than 1,000 people have been killed. Mr Haftar is aided by Emirati and Egyptian air strikes. But the lines hardly move. A little-known group of Salafists (ultra-conservative Muslims) called the Madkhalists may yet tip the balance.

Under orders from their leader, an octogenarian Saudi preacher named Rabee al-Madkhali, the Madkhalists outside the capital have joined Mr Haftar’s ranks, while those inside encourage fighters to give up. “Put down your weapons, go home, pray and read the Koran,” says Fahmy Naas, a follower in Tripoli. War is fitna (strife or sedition), he insists.

International Policy Digest was alarmed by them at some length in 2017. BLUF: The Madkhali are anti-democratic Salafists who armed themselves to fight for the cause of the political strong man— Khalifa Hafter in the case of Libya, as governmental heir to Khadaffy, whom they supported in 2011 — who would take care of all that nasty political stuff as Allah intends, so they can live Salafist lives in piece. They are a significant force in Tripoli and Misrata, the latter being where the all-Madkhali 604th Battalion was based.

Joe Biden says military would intervene if Trump refused to leave White House
[NYPOST] Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids....
said he was "absolutely convinced" that the US military would intervene to remove President Trump from the White House if he lost his re-election bid and refused to leave.

Speaking during an interview on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" Wednesday night, the former vice president made the comment after being asked if he had ever considered the possibility of Trump refusing to concede the election and vacate the White House if he lost.

"Yes I have," Biden told Noah before the interview appeared to be edited and cut off.

The next frame shown in the Comedy Central appearance was of the Democrat remarking about the "many" senior military officers who had spoken out about the commander-in-chief in recent weeks, specifically the Trump administration’s response to the protests over the death of George Floyd.

"I’m promise you, I’m absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch," Biden said, arguing that the military would step in if necessary to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition of power.

Biden also warned of his "single greatest concern," that "the president is going to try to steal this election."

That concern is not new for Biden.

In April, Biden warned donors during a virtual fundraiser that he believed the commander-in-chief was going to try to put off the November election despite having no legal authority to do so.

"This president, mark my words, I think he’s going to try to kick back the election somehow, come up with a rationale why it can’t be held," Biden told donors during an online fundraiser.

YPJ riot squads raid al-Hol camp to root out ISIS women
[RUDAW.NET] Security forces are continuing an inspection campaign in al-Hol camp aimed at preventing further chaos inside the camp being chronically stirred up by women loyal to the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS).

Dozens of armed riot police led by the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) combed through hundreds of crowded tents as camp authorities began a campaign yesterday to register camp residents’ biometric data, reported local media Hawar News Agency (ANHA), which is tied to the People’s Protection Units (YPG).

The sweep campaign is targeting al-Hol’s "immigrant section" — designated for foreign ISIS families — in efforts to root out secret ISIS cells that have been created by women within the camp and have been spreading chaos for its residents. ANHA reported on Thursday that YPJ anti-terrorist squads and riot control units are overseeing the sweep of the camp.

Al-Hol camp has witnessed multiple attack in recent months, in which women who adhere to the radical ideology of the jihadist group have rioted in the camp, attacking guards of the camp, or burning down tents of women who they see as violating their strict rules by talking to men, or removing their veils.

Sheikhmous Ahmed, who oversees all displacement camps in Rojava, told Rudaw English late Wednesday that they aim to put an end to the "chaos" created by ISIS women in the camp. "There have been escape attempts, arson, attempted murder, and attacks on camp officials," Ahmed said.

He also said that some of the camp residents have refused to reveal their real identities, even to international organizations who work in the camp in coordination with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (NES).

Thousands of women and kiddies of suspected ISIS fighters at al-Hol camp will be officially registered in a bid to boost security and "improve living conditions" in the camp, NES officials said Wednesday.

Assad dismisses prime minister
[THEBAGHDADPOST] Syrian President Bashar al Assad issued a decree on Thursday dismissing prime minister Imad Khamis from the post he has occupied since 2016, state media said.

Assad designated engineer Hussein Arnous as his replacement. State media did not give a reason for the sudden move but the country has been in the throes of a deep economic crisis, with the currency plunging to record lows in recent days, aggravating hardships for ordinary Syrians.

Pay our packages of $60,000 or face rebellion, say former governors
[Sudan Tribune] South Sudan’s national unity government is under pressure from the former governors and commissioners of the defunct 32 states who demanded be paid compensation as they were relieved when the country reverted to 10 states.

President Salva Kiir briefs state governors in Juba, December 20, 2019 (PPU photo)South Sudan’s Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning was instructed three months ago and promised to pay some amount in a lump sum to each and every post holder who was removed following the return to the 10 state system.

This money would serve as compensation for them, according to the presidential order.

On Wednesday, a high profile official from former Maiwut state said that the committee that was formed to follow the issue was undermined by Presidential Adviser Tut Gatluak Manime and former Minster of Presidential affairs, Mayik Deng who was relieved recently.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a former commissioner of Jerome county said that the government must pay the money or face rebellion if there would be no compromise reached.

Turkish aircraft intercepted near Misrata
[ALMASDARNEWS] A Libyan military source told RT Arabic on Thursday that a Ottoman Turkish cargo plane was intercepted along the coast of Misrata and forced to return home.

The Egyptian and Libyan media had reported that 3 Ottoman Turkish cargo planes were heading towards the western region of Libya when they were spotted by the Libyan National Army (LNA).

No further details were released about the cargo plane; however, if true, this would be an important move for the Libyan National Army, as they have been trying to prevent the Ottoman Turkish Ministry of Defense’s deliveries to the North African nation.

This news comes just a day after the Greek Navy reportedly intercepted a Ottoman Turkish fat merchantman that was en route to Libya.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
has not commented on these allegations.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch clutched at his other shoulder......
the festivities in the western part of the countryside intensified between the Government of National Accord and Libyan National Army on Thursday, with the former achieving new advances.

Liberal Groups Endorse Plan to Expand Supreme Court to 11
[BREITBART] Several prominent Red Guards liberal groups are joining the push by some Democrats to expand the Supreme Court to eleven justices, a move designed to eliminate the Court’s current 5-4 conservative majority.

An open letter signed by several organizations backs a plan to expand the Court to eleven members:

The activist conservatives who control the Supreme Court are poised to trample existing rights, from reproductive freedom to LGBTQ rights — and to block any significant progressive legislation in the future on urgent crises from climate change to health care to gun safety. The Supreme Court threatens to make it virtually impossible for progressives to enact the progressive policies supported by a clear majority of Americans. This problem won’t go away on its own.

...

The fastest, most effective way to reverse the Republican theft of the Supreme Court and make the court representative of all Americans is to enact legislation increasing the size of the Court by at least two seats, and to quickly fill those seats with justices who will safeguard our democracy.

Supreme Court justices do not merely sit on the supreme court; they also head up the US Cicuit Court system, to wit:
For the District of Columbia Circuit - John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice
For the First Circuit - Stephen Breyer, Associate Justice (Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island)
For the Second Circuit - Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Associate Justice (Connecticut, New York, Vermont)
For the Third Circuit - Samuel A. Alito, Jr., Associate Justice (Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virgin Island)
For the Fourth Circuit - John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice (Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia)
For the Fifth Circuit - Samuel A. Alito, Jr., Associate Justice (Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas)
For the Sixth Circuit - Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice (Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee)
For the Seventh Circuit - Brett M. Kavanaugh, Associate Justice (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin)
For the Eighth Circuit - Neil M. Gorsuch, Associate Justice (Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota)
For the Ninth Circuit - Elena Kagan, Associate Justice (Alaska, Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands, Washington)
For the Tenth Circuit - Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice (Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming)
For the Eleventh Circuit - Clarence Thomas, Associate Justice (Alabama, Florida, Georgia)
For the Federal Circuit - John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice.

Note that some sit in more than one circuit chair, in an attempt to divvy up the workload.

But then I'm fairly sure that screwing up all of this nationwide is not a real concern to our earstwhile political betters. Not a bug, a feature.

Iran Agent Caught Spying on Hamas
[Jpost] An espionage scandal between Iran and Hamas was recently exposed after the Gaza-based group discovered that Tehran activated agents who followed every movement and recorded phone calls made by senior Hamas member Mousa Mohammed Abu Marzook, N12 reported.

One of Marzook's staff members was recently exposed as an Iranian intelligence officer who was recruited by Tehran with Hezbollah mediation. The agent reported every movement made by Marzook during his official trips.

Marzook is a central figure regarding Hamas's foreign affairs array, and previously served as the head of its political branch.

Better look at your social media — chances are you’re next to be canceled
[NYPOST] A short list of the people, movies, TV shows, CEOs, businesspeople, writers and institutions canceled — or on the verge of cancellation — over the past few days:

"Gone with the Wind," the long-running reality show "COPS," "The Help," two major newspaper editors, Andrew Sullivan’s column for New York magazine, the editor-in-chief of Bon Appétit, four "Vanderpump Rules" castmembers, "Live PD," the Brearley School on New York’s Upper East Side, the actual police, cook Alison Roman (again), the top editor and co-founder of Refinery29, Anna Wintour, the founder and CEO of Crossfit, "The Flash" actor Hartley Sawyer, the CEO of reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...
’s famed "Second City" improv group, "Law & Order" writer Craig Gore, Corcoran realtor Joseph Swedroe and economics professor Harald Uhlig (never heard of those last two either, but it goes to show you no one is safe).

This all comes as America rages over the death of George Floyd and reckons with endemic, institutionalized racism. But there’s a misguided approach here in which all offenses, be they subtle or enormous, born of ignorance or malice, result in the loss of reputations and livelihoods.

Indian State Raises Sentence for Cow Slaughter to Ten Years in Prison
No burgers for you!
[BREITBART] The Indian state of Uttar Pradesh announced on Tuesday increased penalties for crimes against cows, considered sacred by Hindus, including up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to 500,000 Indian rupees ($6,607), the Times of India (TOI) reported.

State government authorities have amended the 1955 Uttar Pradesh Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act to include stricter punishments for anyone who harms cows or endangers their lives.

People found guilty of slaughtering a cow will now face a minimum of three years in prison and a maximum sentence of ten years. Before, there was no minimum jail term for the offense, and the maximum penalty was seven years behind bars. Under a new "endangering life" category, people who endanger a cow’s life, such as by denying it food or water, or cause "injury" to cows by trying to illegally transport them, will face a prison term ranging from one to seven years.

In addition, authorities will now publicly identify offenders, placing the name and photograph of the accused in prominent places of business in his area of residence.

News of the new ordinance comes shortly after Indian police announced last month that they were investigating the latest case of a Moslem man killed by "Hindu cow vigilantes" after he slaughtered a cow in Indian-administered Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
, where the killing of cows is also banned.

Nancy Pelosi: Trump to Blame for ‘Disproportionate’ Share of Minority Coronavirus Deaths
I personally have seen the ill-favored Orange Man sneaking among minority housing with a hypodermic needle full of coronaviri, jumping out from behind the bushes and jabbing innocent black and brown buttocks!

...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons......
for the "disproportionate" number of minorities dying from the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
Pelosi lamented "people of color" experienced a "disproportionate" casualty rate in the coronavirus pandemic because the president lacks a "strategic plan" for "testing, tracing, treating," and social distancing.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported the coronavirus outbreak has especially impacted racial minorities.

Pelosi said Americans must focus on social distancing as she, surrounded by guards, appeared before a protest against the death of George Floyd.

The House leader also claimed the United States is "not even close to what we should be doing on a daily basis" in regards to coronavirus testing.

Despite Pelosi’s claim, America is one of the leading countries in daily coronavirus testing in the world.

"The White House has not responded," the Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Democrat said.

Seattle 'autonomous zone' has armed guards, local businesses being threatened with extortion
[FOXNEWS] Seattle police say they have received reports of armed guards and potential extortion in a self-declared autonomous zone that spans several blocks and includes a now-closed precinct.

"We’ve heard, anecdotally, reports of citizens and businesses being asked to pay a fee to operate within this area. This is the crime of extortion. If anyone has been subjected to this, we need them to call 911," Assistant Chief of Police Deanna Nollette said on Wednesday.

Protesters calling to defund the police and make sweeping reforms to law enforcement tactics have declared a six-block region -- spanning 13th Avenue past 11th Avenue, near Cal Anderson Park, and from East Olive Street to East Pike Street -- the "Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone" (CHAZ).

The region encompasses the SPD's East Precinct, which was abandoned by cops on Monday following days of violent festivities between law enforcement and protesters in the wake of George Floyd's death, as well as parts of Capitol Hill.

Officers retreated from the area in an effort to quell the violence-- which included multiple shootings, one that was sparked after a man rammed his vehicle into a crowd of protesters. Police officers have deployed tear gas and pepper spray to disperse large groups of people.

"We wanted to be able to facilitate and support peaceful demonstrations," Nollette said.

Demonstrations within the autonomous zone have been mostly peaceful, with no reports of violence, but police say armed guards have been surrounding the perimeter of the region and residents who live within the boundaries are "forced to show ID to prove you "belong" there," a law enforcement official told Fox News.

So equal protection for the residents of this are is essentially gone.

Property and business owners in the US will now have to assess the likelihood of their local governments ceding their neighborhood to totalitarian. extortionist militias, at least temporarily.

CHAZ itself may be small, but the signal is clear.

"There have been critics from the beginning," de Blasio said during his daily briefing Thursday when asked about concerns that he’s crediting her with the decision to shift money from cops to youth services to boost her future political career.

"I don’t know if they’re uncomfortable because she’s a woman or an African American or an African American woman," he said.

McCray, who was at the briefing trumpeting her new plan to help mom-and-pop restaurants in minority communities recover from the coronavirus pandemic, said she actually doesn’t enjoy the public platform.

"I’m not someone who thrives in the limelight. I don’t, like, need the attention of both being in front of the cameras. In fact, it’s very difficult for me," she said.

"I do what I do because I care about people. I care deeply about these brown and black communities that have been affected disproportionately by the COVID-19 virus," McCray said.

Palestinians again refuse planeload of virus aid from UAE
[IsraelTimes] The Paleostinian Authority refused Wednesday a planeload of medical supplies from the United Arab Emirates to help fight coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
since it was coordinated with Israel rather than with them.

The Etihad Airways flight, which landed in Israel on Tuesday, was the second airborne delivery of humanitarian cargo by the UAE that the Paleostinians say they have turned down in a month.

"We refuse to receive it because it was coordinated directly between Israel and them (the UAE)," Paleostinian civil affairs minister Hussein al-Sheikh told AFP.

"We were not part of the coordination."

The first shipment — 14 tons of medical supplies earmarked for the Paleostinians to help cope with the coronavirus pandemic — was also delayed at Ben Gurion Airport last month as UN officials worked to find a way to distribute it after the Paleostinian Authority announced it would not accept it. However,

The Grand Turk
Turkey’s actions will lead to war with Egypt and Greece: expert
[ALMASDARNEWS] ’Abdel-Latif Darwish, a professor of economics and crisis management in Egypt, said that Egypt’s agreement with Greece on the demarcation of maritime borders represents a strong blow to the agreement between Ottoman Turkish President Recep Erdogan and the Libyan Government of National Accord.

Darwish said, during a call with the Egypt’s Channel 10, that Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and the major countries should put pressure on The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
to stop the attempt to impose Ottoman Turkish influence in the Arab region and the Mediterranean waters region."

He commented on the signing of the maritime border demarcation agreement between Italia and Greece, saying: "Greece has achieved great success in striking Erdogan’s dreams of seizing the eastern Mediterranean gas."

The Italian agency, "Nova", announced on Wednesday that the Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, will visit Egypt on June 18 to resume negotiations with the Egyptian authorities on the agreement to demarcate the maritime borders between the two countries.

According to the agency, after signing an agreement to designate the exclusive economic zones between Greece and Italia, Dendias announced, in statements on Tuesday (June 9th), that he would visit Egypt to obtain a similar result.

According to the statements of the Greek Foreign Minister, the agreement reached on Tuesday between Italia and Greece to designate the economic zones "certainly angered Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
," noting that Italia fully adopted an interpretation of international law as intended by Greece.

It is noteworthy that the Foreign Ministers of Italia and Greece held a presser on Tuesday (June 8th) in Athens, after they signed an agreement to designate the economic zones between the two countries and establish an exclusive economic zone.

Jay Inslee Laughs About Antifa's Rebellion in Seattle as He Demobilizes National Guard
[PJMEDIA] As antifa bandidos murderous Moslems have taken over six blocks of Seattle’s Capitol Hill district, calling it the "Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone" or the "People’s Republic of Capitol Hill," Gov. Jay Inslee
...Governor of Washington state, failed candidate for the 2020 Dem presidential campaign, mainly because nobody outside the state and some inside had ever heard of him. He complained, complained, complained that the Trump administration wasn't doing enough to help the state, then returned an Army field hospital and 400 ventilators that didn't get used...
(D-Wash.) laughed about this open rebellion, saying he hadn’t heard about it. Inslee added that the National Guard is demobilizing, and his chief of staff suggested that even if an open rebellion had broken out on the streets of Seattle, it would be up to "local authorities" to fight it.

"Passing the buck" doesn’t even begin to cover the insanity of this "response."

A news hound asked Inslee about the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone during the governor’s presser on Wednesday, noting that the antifa bandidos murderous Moslems had shut down part of the city and were "not allowing people to come and go freely." He did not mention the fact that antifa had commandeered the Seattle Police East Precinct.

"That’s news to me. So, I’ll have to reserve any comment about it. I have not — I have not heard anything about that... from any credible source," Inslee said, with a chuckle. "Not that you’re not credible, it’s just before I espouse and opinion I should know of which I speak." He laughed again after giving this response.

If the governor of Washington has not heard about the open revolt taking place in the state’s largest city — in the Capitol Hill district, no less! — then he is utterly incompetent. But his next response proved equally insane.

The news hound responded with a follow-up question, asking whether or not Inslee would bring in the National Guard to open up the city when "protesters" had erected barricades to block streets.

"You know, that’s a hypothetical. Look, we’ve got to have safety. I’m sure that people will find a way to have public safety everywhere in the state, I’m confident of that," Inslee said. "The National Guard is demobilizing, over two-thirds of them are demobilized as of yesterday."

In other words, *wink* *nod* "I have no idea what’s happening." *cough* *cough* "I’m sure everyone will work it out.”

No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. It’s time for Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi to take charge in Libya: official
[ALMASDARNEWS] The political official in the "Libyan Struggle Front", Ahmed Qaddaf al-Dam, said on Wednesday that Saif al-Islam Qadaffy, son of the late Libyan leader Muammar Qadaffy
...The late megalomaniac dictator of Libya, admired everywhere for his garish costumes, funny hats, harem of cutie bodyguards, and incoherent ravings. As far as is known, he is the only person who's ever declared jihad on Switzerland...
, is popular in Libya, and he should not stand idly by about what is happening in Libya today.

He said, in an intervention on al-Mayadeen channel, that the Libyan al-Wefaq government was not legitimate and expired and had not been authorized by Parliament.

"If the world came together to impose on us a government we would not accept it, we accept the will of the Libyans, and we decide the fate of Libya."

He believes that "the Brotherhood has no place in Libya, and that their number does not exceed 650 individuals," pointing out that "groups of mercenaries who were in Afghanistan did not reach a thousand or two thousand, and a maximum of 5,000 forces of Evil of Libyan origin to the maximum extent."

He stated that, "It is the duty of Saif al-Islam Qadaffy, like any Libyan citizen, not to remain ashamed of the current situation, pointing out that "no one can deny that Saif has a floor in Libya and a legacy, especially among the youth."

On the authority of the Libyan Parliament Speaker, Aqeela Saleh, Qaddaf al-Dam clarified that "he remains only legitimate in Libya now and the straw that we all adhere to."

He added, "I do not disagree with Saleh, but the matter is in the hands of the Libyans and not in the hands of the outside, and we do not accept that Libya is managed from abroad under any circumbstances, after the bitter experience of our country and they are able to form a Libyan government to be approved by Parliament."

#1  Seif was being groomed to be the replacement for his father Muamar al-Qadafi. Prior to the revolution he had been in contact with the Islamist and anti-Qadafi forces in exile in an effort to end the internal struggle that had grown stronger in the period 2000-2010. To use him to unify Libya may not be as ridiculous as it seems.

Pelosi: Confederate symbols ‘have to go’ from Capitol, bases
[APNEWS] House Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi
Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments...
said Thursday that it’s time to remove symbols honoring Confederate figures from the U.S. Capitol building and military bases as the pandemic and racial unrest force a national reckoning with racial discrimination.
They keep complaining that Washington and Jefferson were slave holders. Next step will be for their monuments to go. The capital will be renamed too. I suggest "Marcus Garvey, D.C.," but they probably hold out for Obama.
"These names have to go from these bases and these statues have to go from the Capitol," Pelosi said at her weekly news conference. "The American people know these names have to go."

Confederate monuments have reemerged as a national flashpoint since the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after a white Minneapolis officer pressed his knee into his neck for several minutes. Protesters decrying racism have targeted Confederate monuments in multiple cities, and some state officials are considering taking them down.

President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
doubled down Thursday on his vow to not rename military bases honoring Confederate generals, even as NASCAR announced it would ban displays of the Confederate flag at its races.

"Seriously failed presidential candidate, Senator Elizabeth ’Pocahontas’ Warren, just introduced an Amendment on the renaming of many of our legendary Military Bases from which we trained to WIN two World Wars. Hopefully our great Republican Senators won’t fall for this!" Trump said in a Twitter blast.

If they have to do it, rename Fort Bragg, named for a mediocre Confed general, to Fort Lee - the Father of the Airborne. Fort Rucker to Fort Billy Mitchell, Army Aviation's father. And Fort Hood, Home of America's Hammer? Fort George S Patton of course. And we have to have a Fort Schwarzkopf someplace. And a Fort von Steuben.

And who could say no to Fort Lewis "Chesty" Puller?

Iran says will now send Ukraine airliner black boxes to Paris
Golly. What brought that on just now?
[THEBAGHDADPOST] Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
told the U.N.’s aviation agency on Wednesday that it would send black boxes from a downed Ukrainian jetliner to Gay Paree for analysis, once countries involved in the investigation agree, two sources familiar with the matter said.

The other countries involved are Ukraine, Canada and the United States.

Canada previously pressed Iran to send the black boxes to La Belle France for analysis.

Iran has refused to hand over the flight recorders from the Ukraine International Airlines flight, which was shot down on Jan. 8 near Tehran by an Iranian surface-to-air missile, killing 176 people including 55 Canadian citizens and 30 permanent residents.

In March, Iran told the U.N.’s aviation agency that it would send the black boxes to Ukraine.

But on Wednesday, a representative from Iran told a virtual meeting of the agency’s governing council that Tehran would now send the heavily damaged recorders to La Belle France’s BEA air accident investigation agency.

"Iran said they will send them to Gay Paree soon subject to agreement of the states involved in the investigation," said one of the sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Iranian officials were not immediately available for comment. A spokeswoman for Canadian Transport Minister Marc Garneau declined to comment on discussion of the boxes being sent to Gay Paree.

Trump to Inslee Amid Seattle Antifa Revolt: 'Take Back Your City NOW. If You Don't, I Will.'

He complained, complained, complained that the Trump administration wasn't doing enough to help the state, then returned an Army field hospital and 400 ventilators that didn't get used...

Welcome to the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, where Seattle protesters gather without police
[SEATTLETIMES] Welcome to the CHAZ, the newly named Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, where most everything was free Tuesday.Free snacks at the No-Cop Co-op. Free gas masks from some guy’s sedan. Free speech at the speaker’s circle, where anyone could say their piece. A free documentary movie — Ava DuVernay’s "13th" — showing after dark.

A Free Capitol Hill, according to no shortage of spray paint on building facades. And perhaps most important to demonstrators, the neighborhood core was free of uniformed police.

A new protest society — centered on a handful of blocks in Seattle’s quirky, lefty Capitol Hill — has been born from the demonstrations that pushed the Seattle Police Department out of its East Precinct building.

On Tuesday, demonstrators hung a banner on the cop shoppe: "THIS SPACE IS NOW PROPERTY OF THE SEATTLE PEOPLE." Teenagers passed a bottle on the exit ramp for police vehicles. A young man carried a long rifle down the sidewalk, despite the mayor’s ban on weapons in Capitol Hill, which has not been clearly enforced.

A man passed out flyers calling for a Thursday meeting to help answer the question now lingering for demonstrators.
Continues in the same slobbering manner for paragraph after paragraph, including the obligatory...
Unconfirmed rumors circulated among demonstrators that white supremacists intend to target protesters now that police are gone, Lee said, which was concerning.

Lee supports redirecting funding toward social services and re-envisioning the role of police, which she said wasn’t working for the community or the police.

“I do wonder if that’s going to work long term or not,” Lee said of the autonomous zone. “But, I’m willing to see and find out.”
Ever so scary! And the drooly...
“We’re not real easy with the autonomous zone. My understanding is they’re patrolling and protecting, but they’re just random guys and they have a gun,” Hendrickson said, referring to reports of armed people on the Hill. “The street’s barricaded so emergency vehicles can’t get through.” (Demonstrators during a Wednesday live stream said they were responding to community concerns over egress.)

Seattle police Wednesday said they wanted to identify and talk with protest leaders about reopening the precinct.

'Post' inquiry leads to closure of French BDS terrorism group's PayPal
[Jpost] French organization lists Paleostinian terrorist entity as partner, glorifies Leila Khaled.

The giant American online payment service PayPal closed the account of the pro-BDS French organization Collectif Paleostine Vaincra because of its ties to the US and EU sanctioned terrorist organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine (PFLP), The Jerusalem Post learned on Wednesday.

The PayPal notice on the website of Collectif Paleostine Vaincra reads: "This recipient cannot receive money at this time." After a notice that funds can no longer be transferred, the account is typically shut down.

On Tuesday, the Post verified that donors could still continue to donate money via PayPal to Collectif Paleostine Vaincra. When asked about the account, a PayPal spokesperson told the Post that "We’re unfortunately unable to comment on any specific accounts, but our team will review and take appropriate action as needed."

PayPal has a robust enforcement policy of cracking down on organizations that raise funds for terrorism or the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) campaign targeting the Jewish state. Under La Belle France’s anti-discrimination law, the advocacy of BDS against Israel or Israelis is defined as bias based on national origin.

Collectif Paleostine Vaincra lists the PFLP as one of its partners on its website and declared the convicted PFLP terrorist Leila Khaled a "Member of Honor." Khaled lives in Jordan.

Khaled was a key member of the terrorist cell that hijacked TWA Flight 840 in 1969. A year later, she participated in the attempted hijacking of EL AL Flight 219.

The PFLP has recently developed a stronger alliance with the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran. The US classifies Iran’s regime as the worst state-sponsor of international terrorism.

The Collectif Paleostine Vaincra appears to be in violation of both La Belle France’s anti-terrorism and anti-discrimination laws. The Post sent numerous press queries to Collectif Paleostine Vaincra. The organization’s twitter account states it is based in Toulouse
...lies on the banks of the River Garonne, half-way between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The Toulouse metropolitan area is the fourth-largest in La Belle France...
. 1,235 people follow the BDS entity on twitter as of Wednesday.

The Post investigative series into BDS organizations and their funding streams has led to the closure of over 20 bank and online payment accounts since 2016.

The account closures of the BDS entities have spanned Ireland, Germany, Austria, the US and La Belle France.

Armed People at Seattle Autonomous Zone Checking IDs, Extorting Businesses: Police
[Epoch Times] People with guns are checking the identification of individuals trying to enter an area in Seattle run by far-left activists and groups like Antifa, the Seattle Police Department said.

"We have been hearing from community members that they have been subjected to barricades set up by the protesters, with some armed individuals running them as checkpoints into the neighborhood," Assistant Chief Deanna Nollette told reporters on Wednesday.

"While they have a constitutionally protected right to bear arms, and while Washington is an open carry state, there is no legal right for those arms to be used to intimidate community members," she added.

Police officials have also heard of businesses and citizens being asked to pay a fee to operate in the area, which is known as the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone and includes about 500 houses. That would be the crime of extortion, Nollette said.

Anyone feeling threatened, intimidated, or extorted should call 911, she added.

The takeover of the area was completed after police officers abandoned the Seattle Police Department’s East Precinct after threats that it would be burned down.

Because the building is connected to apartment buildings and businesses, officials made the choice to board it up and secure it before relocating officers.

Nollette said police want to return to normal operations at the precinct, which would improve response times and capabilities within the neighborhood. But there is no set plan for how to return yet, she said.

Putting up barricades and blocking some people from entering isn’t legal, the police official continued. "However, in an effort to try to cooperate and collaborate, and move forward peacefully, we’re trying to get a dialogue going so that we can figure out the way to resolve this without unduly impacting the citizens and businesses that are operating in that area," she said.

Video footage shows assaults and other crimes taking place within the autonomous zone, including footage filmed by Raz Simone, a local rapper, showing a man being assaulted for putting graffiti on an outdoor wall.

Groups who have self-identified as being part of the takeover include the Seattle Democratic Socialists of America and Antifa, a far-left group that
espouses violence.

The group has a lengthy list of demands, including abolishing the Seattle police Department, reparations for "victims of policy brutality," and a retrial of all minorities currently in prison for violent crimes.

Barricades viewed by a reporter with NTD Television, The Epoch Times’s sister media, included the phrase, "Public safety means no cops on our streets." Another slogan called for defunding the police.

The East Precinct building entrance sign was painted over to say "Seattle People Department."

Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best met with some of the occupiers on Tuesday morning, including Simone.

"I heard some people say they were in support of SPD, but after this week they lost hope and they were angry," Simone told Best, according to a local outlet. "I think a lot of the conversations you guys might want to have will be with the residents."

"I think you are right. I am actually going to go around and talk to the residents about what they are feeling and what they saw. I agree that people felt traumatized in many ways," Best said.

Asked about the zone during a separate press conference on Wednesday, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, a Democrat, told reporters, "That’s news to me, so I’ll have to reserve any comment about it."

What’s happening, though, has drawn nationwide attention.

President Donald Trump, a Republican, said Inslee and Seattle Mayor Jenny
Durkan "are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before."

"Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped [sic] IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!" he added in a missive on social media.

Inslee told Trump in response that "a man who is totally incapable of governing should stay out of Washington state’s business."

So the Upper cruss leftoids have to keep feeding the Orcs to keep them pacified.

Turkish Court Sentences US Consulate Employee to Prison Term Over Spying, Ties to Gulen
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]
The case was one of the key issues souring the already deteriorating relations between The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
and the US, along with Washington's reluctance to extradite Fethullah Gülen
... a Turkish preacher living in Pennsylvania whom the current govt of Turkey considers responsible for all the ills afflicting Turkey and possibly the entire world. Gülen and Erdogan used to be really good friends, but only one of them could be sultan, and Gülen lost...
, a major Ottoman Turkish opposition figure, which Ankara accuses of staging a military coup attempt.

A Ottoman Turkish court has sentenced US Consulate employee Metin Topuz to 8 years and 9 months in prison on charges of espionage and aiding a terrorist group. The US reacted to the news calling the court's decision disappointing.

Topuz, who was working as a liaison officer for the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), is accused of contacting law enforcement officials linked to Fethullah Gulen, an Islamic scholar, major opposition figure, and a founder of the FETO movement. The Ottoman Turkish government believes Gulen and FETO were the criminal masterminds behind the botched 2016 military coup that sought to overthrow President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
The US Consulate staffer denies all the charges levelled against him. Topuz insists that all of his contacts with Ottoman Turkish law enforcement officers were part of his job as the DEA liaison officer.

The arrest of the American Consulate employee in 2017 sparked a diplomatic crisis between Turkey and the US, who called the accusations against Topuz unsubstantiated. His arrest became one of the key issues spoiling the two states' bilateral relations along with Washington's refusal to hand over Gulen to the Ottoman Turkish judiciary system.

Trayvon Martin’s mother running for public office in Florida
[NYPOST] Trayvon Martin’s mother says she’s ready to run for public office in Florida, eight years after her unarmed 17-year-old son’s shooting death sparked a national outcry.

Sybrina Fulton announced this week that she will run for the Miami-Dade Commission District 1 seat currently held by outgoing Commissioner Barbara Jordan, she announced on Twitter.

“At first, I didn’t want to be the voice for Trayvon after he died,” Fulton said on her campaign website. “But I decided I have no choice. Now I’m called to act and called to serve.”

“It became clear to me there’s an opportunity to turn our family’s tragedy into something lucrative positive for many other families,” she said. “It took my son being shot down in order for me to stand up. But I’m standing now.”

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iran's debt-ridden international broadcasters face closure
[al-Monitor] Accumulated debt in foreign currency is heralding a grim fate upon a large network of state-funded TV channels Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
has been building over decades to wage what it calls the "soft war" against its western enemies. Among those hardest-hit and facing imminent closure are the international 24-hour English news channel Press TV and its Arabic sister al-Alam owned by a larger organization known as the Islamic Theocratic Republic Public of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
Oh NOES! Where will we get our Farsi agitprop and Anti-American loony lefties?
The IRIB World Service director Peyman Jebelli told Iranian media outlets that he expects both television stations, which target foreign audiences, "to be taken off the air in the days or weeks to come." He accused the government of President Hassan Rouhani
...Iran's moderate president, which he is, relative to his predecessor, which doesn't mean he's anything but a puppet of the nearest holy man...
of failing to grasp the looming "disaster" facing the IRIB’s overseas branch. According to Jebelli, Rouhani’s Planning and Budget Organization has denied the IRIB World Service its share in the state-allocated foreign currency for five months in a row. "Not even a single dollar or euro," he said, has been provided to help those channels pay their outstanding debts to satellite operators.

The Rouhani government has been grappling with a worsening financial crisis triggered by the US "maximum pressure" policy, which the administration of President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
has been relentlessly pursuing since May 2018, after withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal. The campaign has severely restricted the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s access to international banking systems and has scared away customers of Iran’s crude oil, the main supply line for its much-needed hard foreign currency.

The IRIB is affiliated to and directly supervised by the office of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
. However,
women are made to be loved, not understood...
for much of its spending, the broadcaster relies on the elected government, with a specified share in the annual state budget. Political differences between the moderate Rouhani administration and the ultraconservative decision-makers leading the IRIB have turned more bitter than ever in recent years, with the broadcaster facing accusations of biased coverage against Rouhani and his policies. The state TV particularly infuriated the Rouhani camp after airing a controversial series that harshly attacked the team of negotiators who engaged in marathon talks with Western powers that culminated in the 2015 nuclear deal.

It was not immediately clear if the IRIB’s shrinking foreign currency was rooted in the older feuds with the government. But Jebelli has time and again pointed out negative intentions behind the decision, suggesting that the broadcaster’s mission was falling victim to partisan brinkmanship and a "stubborn" tug of war.

Seattle Protesters Abolish Police, Replace With Squads Of Armed Individuals Tasked With Enforcing Set Of Agreed-Upon Rules
Pay your $1
[Babylon Bee] Seattle protesters have successfully abolished the police in their "autonomous zone." In their place, the leaders of the group have installed squads of armed officers who are tasked with enforcing a set of agreed-upon rules.

"We have achieved a police-free utopia," said one of the group's leaders, Taz "No Rulez" McGuffin. "Now, we are going to need someone to do the job of enforcing the rules we all decide upon and making sure everybody's safe. Instead of oppressive police, let's select a few individuals -- we'll call them 'officers' maybe -- and give them guns. They can patrol the area and stop anyone who goes against our set of laws -- err, guidelines."

"Having thrown off the shackles of the oppressive police, we now welcome these new guideline enforcement officers."

Everyone was treated the same in the utopia of equality, at least for a few hours. The leaders decided that they should have some special protections under the new guidelines and perhaps some way to collect mandatory voluntary donations from everybody to fund their efforts. Eventually, the leaders of the autonomous zone went and met with the mayor, who agreed to accept them back into Seattle proper and give the leaders cushy consulting jobs in the government.

"It was weird," said one Antifa member. "We looked from our Antifa leaders to the government officials, and from the government officials back to the Antifa leaders, and already it was impossible to say which was which."

Illinois teacher says term ‘white privilege’ is as offensive as N-word
[NYPOST] An Illinois school has launched an investigation after a teacher claimed "white privilege" was as offensive as the N-word, according to reports.

The Palatine High School teacher, who was not identified, prompted backlash when she said in since-deleted Facebook posts that calling out white privilege was racist, news station WGNTV reported.

"I find the term ’white privilege’ as racist as the N-word. You have not walked in my shoes either so do not make assumptions about me and my so-called privilege," she reportedly wrote.

The educator, who teaches social studies, apparently then went on to call Jesse Jackson and civil rights hustler Al Sharpton
...Tawana Brawley's spiritual advisor...
"race-baiters," the outlet said.

"You think America is racist? Then you have been hoodwinked by the white liberal establishment and race-baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton," she wrote.

Cracker Barrel under attack because it ‘feels’ like a racist place, with a racist name
[BIZPACREVIEW] First they came for "Cops" and "Gone With The Wind," and now they appear to be gunning for Cracker Barrel. Sort of.

Amid the Maoist-like cultural revolution currently happening across the states, there seems to be an emerging movement to smear (and eventually possibly cancel) the iconic Southern restaurant chain Cracker Barrel.

It reportedly began with April Reign, the far-left activist reportedly responsible for launching the stunningly racist #OscarsSoWhite hashtag.

Responding to a Twitter user who’d asked if people have "ever walk[ed] into a place that just FEELS racist," Reign responded by citing Cracker Barrel.

Palestinian with knife arrested outside West Bank settlement
[IsraelTimes] IDF says it is investigating suspect’s motive; Samaria Regional Council claims detainee was planning on carrying out terror attack in Itamar.

The IDF arrested a Paleostinian carrying a knife just outside a settlement in the northern West Bank on Tuesday, foiling what a settler leader said could have been a terror attack.

Israeli troops were dispatched to the area after the suspect was identified outside Itamar, the army said, adding that soldiers had gun sex in order to carry out the arrest.

The suspect, who was found to be carrying a knife, was transferred for interrogation, the army said, adding that it was still probing the circumstances and motive of the incident.

However,
a clean conscience makes a soft pillow...
according to a statement from the Samaria Regional Council, Itamar’s civilian security squad had already detained the man by the time the IDF arrived.

The security team been carrying out a routine drill when they spotted the suspect trying to cut the fence.

"The members of the civilian security squad ran after him, and the terrorist tried to attack them after being threatened. Upon realizing that he had been caught, the suspect threw his knife on the ground," the statement said, adding that the settlers apprehended the suspect until the army arrived.
