Dozens dead after school bus carrying "children" in Yemen hit by airstrike
[CNN via 10 News] Dozens are dead and wounded after an airstrike hit a bus carrying children in northern Yemen Thursday, according to the International Committee for the Red Cross Thingy and eyewitnesses.
"children"
The school bus was hit as it was driving through a market in the rebel-held province of Saada, according to the Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV.

"Scores killed, even more injured, most under the age of ten. @ICRC sending additional supplies to hospitals to cope with the influx," Johannes Bruwer, the head of the ICRC delegation in Yemen wrote on Twitter.

The Saudi-led Coalition, which has been conducting a military campaign to oust the Houthi rebels, didn't immediately respond to CNN questions.

Houthi media broadcast gruesome footage appearing to show the dead bodies of children. Other footage showed a young boy carrying a UNICEF backpacks being escorted to a hospital, his face bloodied as medical staff tried to treat his injuries.

Witnesses that CNN spoke to said the attack could be heard from neighboring districts.
Yahya Shaem, head of the Houthi-held health office in Saada, told CNN that the children in the bus were on their way to their summer camps.
Uh huh. Pull the other one

Europe
Gaza man jailed for assaulting Jew wearing kippah in Switzerland
[IsraelTimes] A Paleostinian man who assaulted a Jewish man wearing a kippah on a train in Switzerland was sentenced to four months in prison for assault, but was not convicted of a hate crime.

The assault occurred in February aboard a train near Lausanne, the German-language 20 Minuten news website reported Monday. It had not been reported in major Swiss media prior to this week.

The perpetrator, a 40-year-old man who was born in Gazoo, identified only as Mohammed, threw a shirt in the face of the victim, identified as Israel. He stole the victim’s water bottle, book and kippah, throwing the latter in a trash bin. Mohammed, who has multiple drug-related convictions, also stole Israel’s watch, broke his glasses and hit the Jewish man all over his body.

Mohammed told Israel he’d like to slit his throat, according to witnesses.

Johanne Gurfinkiel, the secretary-general of the CICAD watchdog group on anti-Semitism in Switzerland
...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell...
, said the details of the case suggest that Mohammed singled out Israel for attack because he was visibly Jewish. Yet Mohammed’s conviction, handed down last month, does not reference a hate crime as an aggravated element in the assault.

The 20 Minuten report did not say whether Mohammed indicated his motivation for assaulting Israel.

"I do not understand how the anti-Semitic character of this affair was not referenced even though it is clearly visible," Gurfinkiel said.

In neighboring La Belle France and elsewhere in Western Europe, Jewish organizations and watchdog groups have criticized their judiciaries and authorities for what those critics considered mislabeling and ignoring of anti-Semitic hate crimes.

Last month, French police sent a man who displayed violent behavior toward Jews while shouting about Allah for psychiatric evaluation for the third time this year, prompting vocal protests by local Jewish community representatives.

Additionally, in July the suspect in the alleged murder of a Jewish physician in Gay Paree was deemed not responsible for his actions in a second psychiatric evaluation ordered by a judge, even though the defense did not request it.

Separately, a Paleostinian man who broke into a kosher restaurant in Amsterdam while waving a Paleostinian flag was sentenced in July to 52 days in jail, which he had already served by the time of his sentencing. He was not convicted of a hate crime.

In May, a man who shouted about Allah outside a Gay Paree-region Jewish school and accused the people inside of killing children was sent for psychiatric observation. In April, a 20-year-old man who brandished a weapon at a Holocaust museum in western La Belle France also was hospitalized at a psychiatric institution.

Germany arrests man accused of spying on mosque for Jordan
[Ynet] German authorities say they have placed in durance vile
Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out!
a German man who is accused of spying on a mosque for Jordan.

Federal prosecutors said the 33-year-old, identified only as Alexander B. because of German privacy rules, was arrested Tuesday. They didn't specify where.

The prosecutors alleged in a statement issued Wednesday that the suspect worked in 2016 for a Jordanian intelligence agency, gathering information on the mosque in the central German city of Hildesheim.
...a charming small city in northern Germany, only fifty kilometers from Hannover, with an Islamofascist problem. The mosque there was led until recently by Iraqi Salafist Ahmad Abdulaziz Abdullah A,, a.k.a. Abu Walaa, "the preacher without a face", who with some friends raised funds and volunteers for ISIS...
He allegedly handed over information on several people he suspected of planning to travel to Syria to join Islamic murderous Moslem groups or who had already traveled there.

German authorities banned the organization that ran the mosque in March 2017. They long had considered the DIK group to be a magnet for radicals.

DEBKA: After 50 Hamas rockets, IDF high command weighs full-scale operation against Hamas
[Debka] The IDF General Command conferred Wednesday night, Aug. 8, on a full-scale military operation against Hamas after it launched a non-stop barrage of 50 rockets against Israel. The town of Sderot took four direct hits and 8 injured casualties. Iron Dome intercepted four. The others landed in the Eshkol, Shear Hanegev and Hof Ashkelon councils, most on open ground. However, a dozen people were taken to hospital with trauma symptoms as the sirens blared hour after hour. Israel’s air strikes targeted a factory for tunnel components, a marine terror tunnel on the shore, various military compounds including a facility for manufacturing rockets and other weapons, as well as a central logistic depot. Residents of the communities within 7km of the Gaza Strip were ordered to stay in fortified quarters. Children’s summer camps on the Thursday will take place only in premises with shelters.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that the IDF General Command meeting urgently Wednesday night has little option but to launch a full-scale military operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. This would necessitate a ground incursion. It was decided to keep the operation as short as possible, the main goal being to push Hamas back from the Israel border and deliver a blow painful enough for the terrorists to beg for a ceasefire. IDF chiefs hope that this will cure Hamas leaders of the belief that they can dictate the rules of the game, as it has done so far. The generals are taking into account that the rocket barrage will spread across other parts of Israel in the course of the operation. The General Command conference continued into Wednesday night.

Massive confrontation taking place between Israeli, Palestinian forces in Gaza
[ALMASDARNEWS] A major confrontation is taking place place between the Israeli and Paleostinian forces in the Gazoo Strip tonight.

According to a report released by the Israeli military, the confrontation began when members of Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, fired several
peaceful resistance
rockets towards the Sderot settlement near the Gazoo Strip.

Local Paleostinian activists reported that the rocket attack was in response to Israel killing a member of Hamas recently.

As a result of this conflict, several Arclight airstrikes have been launched by the Israeli Air Force, along with heavy shelling from their ground forces.

In response to the airstrikes and shelling, the Paleostinian forces have launched several rockets towards the Israeli settlements, prompting the IDF to activate their missile sirens near the Gazoo Strip.

Israel’s Iron Dome system managed to intercept most of the rockets, but some did reach the Israeli settlements, causing material damage to some homes.

Israel strikes Gaza after rockets fired from Palestinian enclave

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Israel launched air strikes on Gazoo late Wednesday after dozens of rockets were fired from the enclave into its territory, with injuries reported on both sides.

Earlier, Al Arabiya news channel correspondent reported that more than 50 rockets and shells were fired towards Israeli settlements in the Gazoo vicinity>

Smoke plumes could be seen rising from Gazoo City following the military’s announcement it was targeting "terror sites in the Gazoo Strip".

At least two Paleostinians were maimed in raids aimed targeting a Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", base in the southern Gazoo Strip, the enclave’s health ministry said.

The strikes came after two rockets that were launched from the coastal enclave hit the town of Sderot, near Gazoo’s northern border, police and the army said.

One person was lightly maimed by shrapnel while several others were treated for shock in Sderot, the United Hatzalah medical service said.

Sirens were sounded in several areas close to the border with Gazoo, warning residents to seek immediate shelter, the Israeli army said.

"As of now, 36 rocket launches were identified from Gazoo towards Israel," the army tweeted.

The majority of the rockets hit open areas while four were intercepted, it said.

Israel says it holds Hamas responsible for the rocket attacks coming from the long-blockaded coastal territory.

Israeli television broadcast images of a house and cars that were reportedly damaged by the rockets in Sderot.

Parts of the town have been closed off and police bomb disposal units were at the scene of the strikes, a front man for the force said.

The strikes came after two fighters from the military wing of Hamas, which rules Gazoo, were killed by Israeli fire on Tuesday.

Hamas warned Israel -- with which it has fought three wars since 2008 -- that it would pay for the attack.

The escalation comes after the Hamas leadership convened for a rare meeting in Gazoo on Friday. The gathering had raised hopes a deal for a lasting truce with Israel, with the backing of Egypt and the United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
Clashes along the Gazoo border since the end of March have seen at least 160 Paleostinians killed in Israeli firing.

One Israeli soldier had also been rubbed out by a Paleostinian sniper.

#2  Iran want's to start a war.
Hamas are their agents.
All Border areas will be evacuated
A ground incursion will occur
We have enough evidence to do this.

Israel has full permission over the Gaza rocket launching company - up to and including a full invasion. (If they want).

There is a green light.

Fasten seat-belts.

‘Mutiny’ at UNRWA in Gaza after job cuts
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Workers have seized partial control of the headquarters of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees in Hamas-run Gaza, its head said Wednesday, accusing their union of “mutiny” over job cuts.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) announced last month more than 250 staff in Gaza and the occupied West Bank would lose their jobs, after a $300 million cut in annual funding from the US.

The redundancies have prompted daily protests by the agency’s labour union in the enclave, which UNRWA’s Gaza head said have led to security concerns.

“They have taken over the compound where my office and other offices are,” said Matthias Schmale.
So the rif-raf have taken over the company and you haven't frozen its funds and assets? Do the words Due Diligence mean anything to you?
The agency’s Gaza chief admitted UNRWA does not have full control over the site, in Gaza City, explaining he has not been able to access his own office for more than two weeks.

“I am the captain of the ship which has 13,000 sailors on it and they have basically thrown me off the bridge and consigned me to my captain’s quarters,” he told AFP, referring to the number of employees in Gaza.

#2  Should have happened a long, long time ago.

I'm shocked that the Europeans haven't stepped in. Usually they're all over this sort of thing. They can easily afford it, what with the highly profitable trade they run with America, so what gives?

At least 182 rebels killed by assassinations in northern Syria since April
[ALMASDARNEWS] At least 182 Syrian rebels have been killed in northern Syria as a result of targeted liquidations, the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR) reported today.

According to the SOHR report, since April 26th of this year, 182 rebels of Syrian nationality have been assassinated, with the majority killed coming from Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham
, Faylaq al-Sham, Ahrar al-Sham
...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014...
, and Jaish al-Izza.

In addition to the 182 Syrian nationals, at least 29 imported muscle have been assassinated during this time frame.

The 29 imported muscle were reportedly from several nations around the world, including Somalia, Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
, Uzbekistan, Jordan, and Chechnya.

The SOHR report added that at least 54 non-combatants were killed by these targeted liquidations of rebels, including eight children and six women.

The rebels have accused the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG), Syrian government, and Islamic State

Syrian Air Force eliminates large convoy of ISIS terrorists in southern Syria
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Air Force attacked on Tuesday a convoy of holy warriors of the Islamic State

group (outlawed in Russia) in the southern al-Suwayda governorate killing more than 70 krazed killers, the SANA news agency said.

The pilots destroyed military equipment and vehicles and several trucks with weapons and ammunition. The strikes were carried out against the terrorists’ targets in Qabr al-Sheikh in the Syrian Desert from where they attack civilians’ settlements.

On July 25, the Islamic State group took more than 40 people hostage in the village of al-Shabki, including 14 women and 16 children from the Druze community. The holy warriors threaten to kill them and executed one of the hostages last week.

During the large-scale operation against the IS strongholds, which was launched on August 6, the Syrian forces regained control over seven areas in the north, east and south of the al-Suwayda governorate. They repelled fierce counterattacks of holy warriors in al-Hosn and Ard al Qara.

The Syrian government forces along with several units of the armed opposition and militias are fighting for an important stronghold in Shannan al-Asfar. According to SANA, the military operation switched to a decisive phase after elite units had been deployed from Damascus. Its goal is to eliminate holy warriors in the al-Suwayda governorate and the Syrian Desert.
