Bill's Libido Threatens To Derail Hillary -- Again
Just a few weeks ago, reports broke that Bill Clinton had flown at least 11 times on "The Lolita Express" -- a private plane owned by the mysterious financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. According to Virginia Roberts, who claims to have been one of Epstein's many teenage sex slaves, Clinton also visited Epstein's private Caribbean retreat, known as "Orgy Island."

"I remember asking Jeffrey, 'What's Bill Clinton doing here?'" Roberts said in 2011. The former president, she added, was accompanied by four young girls during his stay -- two of whom were among Epstein's regular sex partners. "And [Jeffrey] laughed it off and said, 'Well, he owes me a favor.' He never told me what favors they were."

Clinton also spent years traveling and partying with Ron Burkle, a billionaire bachelor with a penchant for very young girls. Clinton spent so much time on Burkle's private plane that it came to be known in Burkle's circle as "Air F--k One."

Bill never stopped being Bill.
The "War On Women" depends on what the definition of "On" is.

#1  What would really put a stake into Hillary would be if all opponents, at all election levels, kept hammering her incessantly about her role in Operation Zero Footprint in Benghazi, as laid out in delicious detail here.

Michelle Obama urged to run for California seat in Senate
You thought Boxer was bad? You ain't seen nothin'.
"Barack could golf year-round, and Michelle could emerge from his shadow after 20 years and retake control of her own life," a person familiar with their thinking told Orb.
Anyone seen my gazunder? After reading this, I think I'll be needing it shortly.

#4  Isn't this the same Michelle that got a 6 figure job when her husband was elected Senator? And when he went to the White House the job she left behind wasn't filled? Nice career. Like Hil and Bill, on the public dime all her life.

#5  I think it's a brilliant idea. If she's elected, an experienced Democratic politician who knows where the bodies are buried and can actually get things done won't be. The large sums of money they'll need to spend to buy her seat will be taken from other races, and her husband will spend his days golfing with a lovely series of handsome golf pros as his connection to actual power grows ever more tenuous.

On the other hand, as far as I can tell Mrs. Obama loathes the sweaty rough and tumble of politics even more than her husband does, and might well lose despite the best efforts of her handlers.

#6  Maybe she'll follow in Hilary ' s footsteps: a carpet bagging Senate seat, followed by a high level cabinet post, followed by a run for President.

Of course, her only real accomplishment is that she is the only woman Obama has publicly admitted having sex with, just as Hilary is the only woman Bill has admitted having sex with.

Gray Lady to Scott Walker: Never mind

[HOTAIR] There are newspaper corrections that sincerely intend to repair the record … and then there are New York Times "corrections" to columns that should never have run in the first place. On Friday, the Paper of Record published a Gail Collins essay blaming Scott Walker’s cuts to education funding in Wisconsin for teacher layoffs that took place in 2010. There were only two problems with the column: Scott Walker didn’t take office until 2011, and his public-employee union reforms actually prevented cuts that would have resulted in even more K-12 layoffs. Either of those could have been easily checked, but would have been obvious to anyone who paid the least bit of attention to the controversy in Wisconsin over the last four years.

Sometime yesterday, after the Collins essay ‐ ironically titled “Scott Walker Needs an Eraser” ‐ the New York Times appended this correction to the bottom:
Correction: February 15, 2015

An earlier version of this column incorrectly stated that teacher layoffs in Milwaukee in 2010 happened because Gov. Scott Walker “cut state aid to education.” The layoffs were made by the city’s school system because of a budget shortfall, before Mr. Walker took office in 2011.

Boehner Says He'd Allow Homeland Security Shutdown
[NYTIMES] The House speaker, John It is not pronounced 'Boner!' Boehner
... the occasionally weepy leader of House Republicans...
, said Sunday that he was "certainly" prepared to allow funding for the Department of Homeland Security to lapse, raising the possibility that one of the government's largest and most vital agencies could be shut down at the end of the month.
Might we simply revert to the law enforcement agencies on hand prior to the establishment of the so-called Homeland Security ?
Coming just two months after Republicans gained full control of Congress, a shutdown would be a major political problem as the party tries to honor a vow to govern responsibly and cooperatively.

It would contradict a pledge from Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader, who said the day after his party won decisively at the polls in November, "There will be no government shutdowns." And it would exacerbate a rift that has been growing between Republicans in the House and the Senate.

"The House has done its job; we've spoken," Mr. Boehner said on "Fox News Sunday." "If the Senate doesn't like it, they'll have to produce something that fits their institution."

#6  The Pubs could pass legislation but it would probably be vetoed by the ONE. Such as veto could be over-ridden by a 2/3 vote in both Houses. I doubt that would happen as the Pubs don't have the votes. The country needs a new POTUS who is a Pub and both Houses. The Pubs can fight a delaying action or hope the Courts will get involved in their favor but they really need the Presidency in 2016. It's a long, long year and a half.

#7  ...the possibility that one of the government's largest and most vital agencies could be shut down at the end of the month.

Was it so vital that it existed in 1960, 1970? How did the republic exist without such a vital agency for two hundred years?

#11  They don't need 2/3rds majority to shutdown homeland security. If they fail to fund a spending bill it shuts down, at least partially. From the Washington Post:

"Most security workers would be deemed essential in a DHS shutdown and report to the border or to airports, but they would go without pay, while tens of thousands of administrative-level workers would be furloughed."

Posted by: DLR || 02/17/2015 11:43 Comments || Top||

#12  Hate to support Boehner but it's not his job to run the Senate. The House passed the bill, it's now up to the Senate. If you want "movement" talk to Reid and McConnell.

#15  Now the airports can hire private security firms to replace the TSA. State, county/parish Sheriffs and local police will have to police the cities and borders.

The military has been pulled from the battlefield anyway.

We will replace the CIA with people monitoring reports from people on the ground from around the world.

Shut down the TSA.

*If you did not read the Atlantic article, take a minute, especially if someone is trying to understand the why and how of this mindset, it is a good intro in plain language.

I did have a pick with What is Rome? First, Libya especially Tripoli was a major base for the Muslim Slavers and Raiders, Tripoli being the central market for European slaves and loot trade. It was so successful that 300 years later the USA, as one of its first conflicts, engaged in a war against The Barbary Pirates. Islam was the cause and justification then as it was in Suleiman's time, with real torture of prisoners until ransom was made, they converted, or usually died. As consideration, the USA was considered a valid target according to their rules of engagement, so by Rome they mean, the tradition, eastern, western, Russia orthadox, lutheran, protestant, USA, New World as whole.

(sorry, pausing, people talking to me)
