[DW] The German government says some people it wanted to evacuate after the Taliban ...Arabic for students... took power in Afghanistan have since died. Some deaths were violent mostly peaceful, but none seemed linked to any cooperation with Germany, it said.
Thirty-two people who helped German armed forces during their mission in Afghanistan or were otherwise endangered have died while waiting to be taken to Germany following the Islamist Taliban's takeover in August 2021, according to German media.
The information was given in response to a question by Left Party parliamentarian Clara Bunger, with German news magazine Der Spiegel reporting first on the matter.
HOW DID THE DEATHS OCCUR?
According to the list provided in response to the question, 15 of the Afghans concerned died a natural death or in an accident.
However, by candlelight every wench is handsome... nine died in violent mostly peaceful incidents, including one local helper killed during an attack on a mosque by the terrorist group "Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. The cause of seven of the deaths remained unclear, the information provided by the government said.
However, by candlelight every wench is handsome... according to the government, none of the deaths was visibly connected to anyone's activities in helping German forces.
The German Bundeswehr formed part of a 20-year US-led military mission in Afghanistan that came to a disorderly conclusion in July 2021.
The government says it has arranged to take in more than 36,000 former local support staff and other endangered Afghans, including journalists and human rights ...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you... activist muppets, together with their approved family members over the past 15 months. More than two-thirds who have received such approval have been able to come to Germany, it says.
A 'DISASTER' However, by candlelight every wench is handsome... Bunger called the situation a "disaster," telling Spiegel that the government had criminally failed to fetch endangered people from Afghanistan in time.
She also reproached the new government for not bringing at least those people to safety who had been told they could come to Germany.

Many in Germany and elsewhere have since been concerned about the fates of those people who had aided foreign forces, whom the Taliban likely view as traitors to the country.

The CIA and State Department did not officially comment on the meeting.
The US broke off direct talks with Afghanistan’s ruling faction after learning that they had been harboring al-Zawahiri, the architect of the September 11 attacks, in the Afghan capital for months — a clear violation of the Doha Agreement, in which the Taliban promised that Afghanistan would not shelter al Qaeda members.
The terror leader was killed in his luxe Kabul apartment by a US dronezap July 31 — but his presence in Afghanistan drew sharp criticism from Republicans.
"The American people were lied to by President Biden," charged Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), the top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

[NYPOST] The controversial Marxist co-founder of Black Lives Matter recently completed tens of thousands of dollars in renovations at her posh Los Angeles home, including building a new plunge pool and backyard sauna, according to a new report.
Patrisse Cullors, 39, the former leader of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, also added a children’s play area for her young son outside her 2,580-square foot three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Los Angeles’ Topanga Canyon neighborhood, photos show.
The images reveal a deep plunge pool that has yet to have water added, as well as a small shed that houses the sauna. A child’s swing set and covered slide is also visible in the photograph.
Cullors, who resigned from the national group a month after The Post revealed that she had gone on a real estate buying spree last year, paid $1.4 million for the Topanga Canyon home in March 2021, according to public records.
At the time of her May 2021 resignation, Cullors insisted her "retirement" from the group that she had led for six years had been in the works, and was not tied to the controversy surrounding the shopping spree in which she amassed four properties for more than $3.2 million amid the group’s troubled finances.
