Oregon has had over 5000 fatalities with most coming since Sept 1, 2021. Oregon population 63% currently fully vaxxed, about 70% have had at least one shot.
It should be obvious that being vaxxed reduces your risk of death from covid even though covid vax is not as effective as, say, the mumps vax.

But along the same lines, it should be mentioned that not long ago, the USAF leadership up there in AK complained that the intercept rate was too high, and they couldn't sustain it. When I was at Langley AFB 85-89, I watched the 48th Fighter Interceptor Squadron there launch on a regular basis, especially when the Havana Express was running. The idea of USAF officers complaining that the bad guys are pushing us on an unsustainable schedule is infuriating.

[AmericanThinker] Hate crimes against Christianity and its followers in Europe — formerly and for centuries the guardian and disseminator of Christ's teachings — are at an all-time high. According to a recent report, at least a quarter of all hate crimes registered in Europe in 2020 were anti-Christian in nature — representing a 70-percent increase in comparison to 2019. Christianity is, furthermore, the religion most targeted in hate crimes, with Judaism at a close second.
Worse, the true number of hate crimes against Christians is likely even higher. As the Nov. 16, 2021 report by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) explains (boldface in original):
24 states report data on hate crimes committed due to racism or xenophobia, 20 on LGBT groups, 16 states on anti-Semitism, and 14 on incidents against Muslims, but only 11 countries report data on hate crimes against Christians, and this obviously distorts the statistics significantly. Furthermore, of the 136 civil society organisations that provided descriptive data, only 8 organisations (!) consistently reported incidents against Christians. Both of these findings put the reality of the situation into a different perspective, which indicates that the actual number of hate crimes against Christians is probably way higher. When comparing the numbers of incidents from last year to the number of this year, we can see an increase of almost 70%. What is also striking, is the fact that of the 4,008 descriptive cases [of 2020], 980 are hate crimes against Christians, almost 25%, more than against any other religious group.

After all, the "news" is all about maintaining the narrative, one that paints Christians as aggressors and anyone and everyone else as victims — Muslims chief among them.

Contrary to what legal analysts on MSNBC might suggest, Clark is the victim of a particularly pernicious legal witch hunt. The January 6th Committee should drop its contempt recommendation and cease its lawless harassment of Clark. If it will not, the members of that committee must face consequences if and when Republicans take back the House in 2022.

Moreover, the Dems are threatening to issue criminal contempt charges for not testifying before this sham committee before the Executive Privilege issue has been decided in the courts. The Dems surely must(?) realize they are going to have a rough time in the 2022 Congressional elections and this B.S. committee is not a winning strategy.

I saw something about how the Clinton Foundation is down around 75% on donations received. Presumably ditto for Bill and Hillary contracts to make speeches, and worse to come. At the rate they’re going, they won’t be able to afford keeping Chelsea on the payroll. [Republic Brief] From the very beginning it’s been clear to us that the January 6th Committee started off by subpoenaing Steve Bannon, knowing he wouldn’t cooperate because he has too many other legal problems going on, so it could make an example out of him by having him indicted and arrested for contempt. The point was to scare other, more skittish witnesses into cooperating, for fear of also ending up indicted.
We’re not surprised that Mark Meadows has been flip flopping back and forth between cooperating and not cooperating, both because he’s a Trump loyalist and because he’s under criminal investigation for election tampering in Georgia. But what about key witnesses who have no such loyalty to Trump, and who have no existing criminal liability? We predicted from the start that it would be these types who would end up cooperating with the committee.
Sure enough, CNN is now reporting that Mike Pence’s former Chief of Staff Marc Short has been secretly cooperating with the January 6th Committee for a few weeks. It’s the length of time that matters here, because if Short’s cooperation were insufficient or incomplete, the committee would have begun contempt proceedings against him by now. The fact that Short’s cooperation has lasted for weeks means that it must be the real deal. Moreover,

Now the same RNC chairwoman welcomes those same people with "disqualifying psychological and physical" conditions to join the Republican party. In November, the organization announced it was starting a Pride Coalition in partnership with the Log Cabin Republicans.
How about the RNC putting the same effort into investigating and litigating the 2020 presidential election fraud or the dangerous January 6 witch hunt? MAGAs demand answers before the next election! Nah, the RNC is too busy building its Pride Coalition.
