[Chicago Tribune] A 14-year-old boy was shot in the head and a 13-year-old boy was shot in the chest Monday night in separate shootings within two hours of each other, according to reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... police. Both of the boys are in hospitals at death's door, police said. The first shooting occurred at 7:20 p.m. in the 500 block of East 42nd Street in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.
The 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were standing on a sidewalk when a vehicle approached them and someone inside fired shots, police said.
The boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital at death's door, police said. The girl was shot in the leg and foot and taken to Mercy Hospital & Medical Center in good condition.
The shooting took place near Fuller Elementary School and there was a gathering outside when the shooting took place, according to a law enforcement source. There were no eye witnesses. It’s unclear if they were the intended target.
Multiple shell casings were found at the scene. Chicago fire arrived around 9:30 p.m. to hose down blood on 42nd Street.
About 9 p.m., a 13-year-old boy was in a vehicle with two other people in the 1500 block of South Kedvale Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side when they heard gunshots, police said. The boy was shot in the chest, and he was dropped off at a nearby fire station then taken to Stroger Hospital at death's door.

[BREITBART] At least 30 people were shot, seven fatally, over the weekend in Democrat-controlled Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.NBC Philadelphia reports there were 25 shootings that left behind more than 30 victims, fatal and non-fatal combined. Twenty-five people were maimed in the shootings while another seven were killed.
The weekend violence included gunfire at a block party around 11:30 p.m. Saturday. Breitbart News reported five people were maimed in that shooting, and police were already on scene when it occurred, having been tipped off about the block party by social media posts.
6 ABC reported Philadelphia police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw commented on the incident, saying, "There were a lot of people out here. We do believe that someone knows who the shooters were and could possibly help us in identifying and figuring out exactly what happened."
Outlaw did not speculate on the number of button men, but said shell casings from "several weapons were ... found on the scene."
On August 17, 2020, Breitbart News reported gun violence was raging in Democrat-controlled New York City as well.
Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio ...cryptocommie mayor of New York and for some reason a Dem candidate for president in 2020. Corrupt and incompetent, his qualifications for office seem to consist of being married to a black woman, with whom he honeymooned in Cuba. He has a preppy-looking son named Dante, whose Divine Comedy involved getting his back hair up when a police car drove past him slowly. New Yorkers voted for him, so they deserve him... ’s (D) NYC witnessed over 50 shot from Thursday through Sunday, seven fatally. Breitbart News reported there were 12 shootings with 19 injured and one killed on Friday alone.
And at least 50 were shot, five fatally, over the weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot ...the diminutive and vacuous Heronner da Mare of Chicago. When the corpse count rises she blames the guns, which are banned anyway... ’s (D) reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...

Heard of a guy that have a similar find. Mexican guy, who bid on hauling away shipping and storage from Kelly AFB in San Antonio. He'd leave his trailers there, and they'd call when there was a load and the paperwork was ready. Took one load tp Nuevo Leon, and in unloading found two very heavy containers. Turned out he had a couple of AMRAMM's.
So he called the guy at the outlet desk and told him, and he freaked. It was gonna be an intl incident, and yadda.
Manuel said, how 'bout I just bring them back?
So this MSGT met him in Nuevo Laredo with (forged) import paperwork, and they hauled them back to SA.
Manuel did lose his concession to haul off packing stuff, though...
(At least that's what I heard.)

[EN.ALGHADEER.TV] The Belarusian ambassador to Slovakia, who supported protesters rallying against his country’s authoritarian president, said Tuesday he has handed in his resignation, a move indicating growing dissent at a high level of government.
Igor Leshchenya said in an interview that it was "a logical move" after he recorded a video statement supporting unprecedented protests that have roiled Belarus for nine days in a row since the Aug. 9 presidential election that gave a sixth term to longtime leader Alexander Lukashenko.
In the statement released on Saturday, Leshchenya expressed "solidarity with those who came out on the streets of Belarusian cities with peaceful marches so that their voice could be heard," said he was shocked by the reports of mass beatings and torture of protesters and accused Belarusian law enforcement of restoring the traditions of the Soviet secret police.
"As an ambassador, I’m appointed by the president, and it is expected that I follow the policies determined by him. The Foreign Ministry (of Belarus) believes my civic stance has gone beyond that," Leshchenya told independent Belarusian news outlet Tut.by on Tuesday.
The president is yet to sign Leshchenya’s resignation.
Leshchenya, 52, was the first top government official to support the protests against Lukashenko, who won 80% of the votes, according to the official election.
His top challenger, former English teacher Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, got only 10% and denounced the vote as rigged, demanding a recount as hundreds of thousands of people poured into the streets all across Belarus in protest.

The real damage is not the clowns in liberal arts. The real damage is STEM faculty who got their positions due to Affirmative Action/Ideological Purity.

[Free Beacon] Chinese manufacturers produced more than three in five drones used by local and state law enforcement, potentially exposing sensitive geographic and personal data to the Chinese government.
Chinese tech companies have sold or gifted drones to more than 970 law enforcement and first responder agencies across the country, presenting a massive national security risk, according to a new report by John Venable and Lora Ries, senior research fellows at the conservative Heritage Foundation. The authors of the report warn that the Chinese government can compel these companies to cough up sensitive data collected in the United States. The technology could help Beijing identify vulnerabilities in U.S. critical infrastructure and track down the location of American civic leaders.
"There is no separation between Chinese firms and the government," Venable told the Washington Free Beacon. "When any one of these Chinese drone manufacturers take data back into their system ... once it's back there, the government has direct access to it and they can get anything they want from the company."
The report comes amid heightened scrutiny of Chinese tech companies operating in the United States. On Monday, the Trump administration imposed additional restrictions on Huawei, a telecommunications giant accused of spying on behalf of Beijing—and banned suppliers from providing U.S.-made chips to the company. The White House also required Chinese company ByteDance to sell TikTok, a popular social media platform, to a U.S. company to prevent the Chinese government from accessing user data.
Drone use in the United States has increased exponentially in the last five years. This is especially the case for law enforcement officials and first responders who use drones' bird's-eye view to track down criminals or scout out forest fires. DJI, a Chinese company founded in 2006, has reaped the greatest benefit from this increase in demand, cornering 77 percent of the U.S. drone market. That success was fueled by regime subsidies that allowed DJI to undersell competitors, according to the report's authors.
The company continues to aggressively expand its market share, gifting 100 drones to nearly 50 agencies across the country in April, ostensibly to help local governments deal with the pandemic. DJI has also cooperated with the Chinese police state, however, providing drones to a Xinjiang government agency to monitor prisoners in a concentration camp for Muslim Uighurs.
The report found that DJI's phone applications present a national security risk for government users. According to two separate analyses cited by the report, the apps can access drone footage and images as well as data pertaining to the user's political and religious affiliation. Furthermore, the apps' terms of conditions allow the developers to share the information with the Chinese government, granting access to hundreds of hours of video footage from the United States to Beijing.

DJI has features that other manufacturers don't, which has more to do with their success than underselling.
Now, they're also accused of violating patents, but...
The whining that the app -- which is how you pilot their drones! -- can access the drone camera makes as much sense as whining that your phone's camera app can access the phone's cameras.

Police Glocks are made in the USA in Georgia except for some of the furniture on them (important stuff like barrel, slide and frame are made in the USA), are reliable as hell, and cost effective. I don't know what your problem is with them, but they are durable and effective.

^Amen. They aren't pretty, but they're functional and reliable.^
[FoxNews] U.S. Army and Texas A&M researchers have developed a material that they say can "heal autonomously."
The 3-D printable and stimuli-responsive polymeric materials have fueled comparisons with the shapeshifting T-1000 Terminator character in the movie "Terminator 2: Judgement Day."
The materials could be used for morphing drones and robotic platforms, according to aerospace engineer Dr. Frank Gardea, who is the principal investigator of the project for the Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command’s Army Research laboratory.
"As the research matures, the epoxy material is expected to have the ability for massive reconfigurability and have embedded intelligence allowing it to autonomously adapt to its environment without any external control," the Army explains on its website. "Currently, the stimulus this material responds to is temperature, which researchers first selected because of its ease of use during laboratory testing."
Researchers have introduced light-responsiveness to the material, because it is easier to control and apply, according to Gardea.
The research, which is still in the discovery phase, is published in the peer-reviewed journal Advanced Functional Materials.
The Army is targeting this type of research as part of its Future Vertical Lift initiative, which aims to improve knowledge of material behaviors for "far-future" military technologies.
Army researchers, for example, are eyeing drones that can change shape in midflight. Experts from the Army’s Research Laboratory presented their work on a new tool to develop the small shape-shifting drones at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Aviation Forum and Exposition virtual event on June 16.
Army researchers and Texas A&M University published the findings of a two-year study in fluid-structure interaction. "Their research led to a tool, which will be able to rapidly optimize the structural configuration for Future Vertical Lift vehicles while properly accounting for the interaction between air and the structure," explains the Army Research Laboratory, in a statement released earlier this year.
The U.S. military is heavily focused on the development of innovative materials. Researchers at the University of Buffalo and Army scientists, for example, have simulated mother of pearl, or the outer coating of pearls, to create a lightweight plastic described as 14 times stronger and eight times lighter than steel. In a statement released last year, the Army said that the material is "ideal for absorbing the impact of bullets and other projectiles."
[ZeroHedge] As we detailed earlier, a slide that purports to be from Goodyear's diversity training has leaked and appears to show that the company considers "Blue Lives Matter," "All Lives Matter" and "MAGA" attire "unacceptable," while at the same time encouraging "Black Lives Matter" and "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride (LGBT)" attire.
The differences are shown under a slide that appears to be outlining a zero tolerance policy. Aptly named, if we say so ourselves.
As The Gateway Pundit put it, the slide appears to be "zero tolerance" against support for police or conservative values. Which, of course, flies in the face of actually engaging in the values of tolerance and equality.
The employee who took the photo of the slide claimed that it was "presented at a Topeka plant by an area manager and says it came from their corporate office out of Akron, Ohio," according to a report from WIBW. Just out before lunchtime (and a ton of negative feedback):
Update (1150ET): Well, that didn't take long. Goodyear has quickly issued a press release backing away from the 'diversity' training's liberal bias. Get woke, go broke, motherfuckers. What's my next tire - Firestone or Michelin?
Gary is responsible for fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring all associates are inspired to realize their full potential and contribute to the long-term growth and success of the company.

The worst possible reaction, they annoy traditional American customers with their woke BS and then turn tail and show they are not really woke when it blows up on them, so the racial extortionists aren't fooled either. Double stupid reaction and proof of crappy corporate leadership.

WTF do all these corporate clowns think they're gaining by getting woke?
They are gaining each other’s approval by reflecting common views within the group. It’s a class reinforcement thing, having nothing to do with the world outside the executive floor of the home office. The junior executives and middle managers absorb it through their skin... or keep quiet.

Just got back from Depot. They've gone 100% full Covid19-WOKE mask now. Tried to buy a .59 cent, plastic switch plate. Couldn't process my $1.00 bill into the no clerk, 'pay it yourself' machine. Ah ha, pay it yourself machine was only FOR PLASTIC. Clerk tried to usher me over to a cash pay line with 9 people standing in it. Nope, sorry I don't need it that bad. Left their free, cheesy Covid mask lying in the parking lot.
[MIRROR.CO.UK] Marks & Spencer has apologised after it was accused of "covert racism" over its bra colours.Kusi Kimani, 29, from East Sussex, was shocked when she discovered a brown bra on the retailer's website was called "tobacco".
The lighter colours of the £12 Marks & Spencer Collection padded bras are described as "cinnamon" and "fudge".
Ms Kimani complained about the bra for her skin tone carrying negative connotations, while more positive words were used for lighter colours.
Yet two months on from her initial complaint, the bra is still being sold in a "tobacco" colour on the Marks & Spencer website.
However, alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk... the retailer pledged to drop the name when approached by the Mirror and apologised for not acting sooner.
Ms Kimani told Mirror Online: "I saw it about two weeks after George Floyd's death and it was particularly raw to see at that time.
"Why not call it cocoa, caramel or chocolate - sweet dessert items? But they used tobacco. I was shocked when I saw it.
