Oh, why did it hate us, the velvet?
A riddle of old; dare we delve it?
Where nekkid eggs hatched,
There was always a catch...
Doh! Hated it back. Couldn't help it.

Yes. They want anarchy! Except when they want a marxist totalitarian state! Except when they want local control! Except when they want "states' rights!"

Michelle Malkin was attacked at this rally and the police did nothing.
When pro-police are attacked and left to their own devices by the cops they're backing, you're going to see an interesting evolution on the Right about these things.
If/when a critical mass of people on the non-left realize that the institutions they support are ranged against them, then you really will have a revolutionary situation.
Not a #FakeRevolution like what the elites are trying to feed us now.

It's bad enough realizing you are on your own. Realizing that standing up for yourself may get you arrested by the police is too much to just roll over and accept quietly.

Sudanese forces arrested around 160 people on the border with Libya who were en-route to the war-torn neighbouring country to work as "mercenaries", a state-linked paramilitary group said Sundayhttps://t.co/OIBAtL0L7q
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... mobilized a large number of mercenaries in Libya’s port city of Misrata, Libyan National Army (LNA) front man Khaled al-Mahjoub told Al Arabiya on Sunday.
The LNA detected that Turkey sent approximately 19,000 mercenaries to fight alongside the GNA, al-Mahjoub added.
For all the latest headlines follow our Google News channel online or via the app.
Al-Mahjoub also stressed the LNA’s readiness for all possibilities in Sirte, after the Ottoman Turkish-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) moved fighters and military vehicles closer to Sirte on Saturday.
Sirte is a key coastal city in Libya, close to major energy export terminals on the Mediterranean seaboard.
The LNA, commanded by Khalifa Haftar ...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all. Actually, he is, but slowly... , and the GNA have been fighting for control of Libya, including Sirte. Clashes between both sides over Sirte have intensified since early June.
Al-Mahjoub had said previously that the possibility of an armed clash was unlikely despite the GNA’s movements.
He added in a statement to Al Arabiya that Turkey wouldn’t risk attacking and marching towards Sirte and Jufra after Egypt entered the equation.
Egypt, which backs the LNA, has threatened in June to intervene militarily in Libya if the GNA and Ottoman Turkish forces tried to seize Sirte.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi had said on June 20 that his country has a legitimate right to intervene in Libya and ordered the army to be prepared to carry out missions if necessary.
"If some people think that they can cross the Sirte-Jufra frontline, this is a red line for us," he said.

[EN.ALGHADEER.TV] The Libyan army dispatched several military vehicles Saturday to the west of Sirte province, while the Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) said festivities took place at the facilities over the weekend.
A large number of military vehicles reached Abugrein as part of Operation Paths to Victory, which was launched to liberate the central city of Sirte and Jufra from putschist General Khalifa Haftar ...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. Guess you can't win them all. Actually, he is, but slowly... ’s militias, according to army sources.
Meanwhile, ...back at the mall, Clarissa suddenly spied Mr. Bartlett at the checkout counter. He was buying Grecian Formula!... the NOC said Saturday there were festivities between an gang loyal to warlord Khalifa Haftar and guards near oil facilities in the Gulf of Sirte.
The NOC said festivities occurred between a pro-Haftar gang called As-Saiqa and facility guards in the eastern Brega region.
Fighting took place a few hundred meters from oil tankers and gang members ignored the safety of the oil facilities and employees.
The agency highlighted the importance of removing Syrian mercenaries, Sudanese Janjaweed militias and Russia’s paramilitary faction Wagner Group from oil facilities and urged a restructuring of the safety of oil fields under the umbrella of a professional, independent and disciplined security force.
In a written statement on July 17, the NOC also expressed deep concerns about "reports of the increasing likelihood of intensified military conflict, potentially extending to oil and gas facilities."
Libya, with the largest oil reserves in Africa, can produce 1.2 million barrels of crude oil per day. However, a hangover is the wrath of grapes... production has fallen below 100,000 barrels due to interruptions by pro-Haftar militias in the past six months.
Since April 2019, Haftar’s illegitimate forces have launched attacks on Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... and other parts of northwestern Libya, resulting in thousands of deaths, including women and kiddies.
The government, recognized by the U.N. as the country’s legitimate authority, recently achieved significant victories, pushing Haftar’s forces out of Tripoli and the strategic city of Tarhuna.
The new government was founded in 2015 under a U.N.-led agreement, but efforts for a long-term political settlement failed because of a military offensive by Haftar, who has been backed by La Belle France, Wagner, the UAE and Egypt.

The riot cops should bring smoke canisters to these things. Fling away at 'em with telescoping truncheons under cover of smoke. Collect the canisters later. Add rubber bullets to taste.
Oh. And a few marksmen on rooftops, with 37mm 45-55 gr baton slugs.

Yes, and we will see the hypocrisy of the antifa / blm / marxist "tear it all down" complex when they stand down on election day to see if they can get the dems over the top. If they really, really wanted the current system toppled, closing down polls would be a prime objective. What they actually want is the current system with their people running it.

[IsraelTimes] Ottoman Turkish police have detained 27 people in Istanbul over suspected links to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group Sunday, state-run media says.
The Anadolu news agency reports that the suspects were held in simultaneous early morning raids by anti-terrorist police in 15 districts across Istanbul as they allegedly prepared to carry out attacks.
The agency says the alleged attacks were in response to recent social media posts that insulted the Prophet Muhammad and that a "large number" of documents and digital material was recovered during the searches.
The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... has suffered a number of attacks by Islamic State gunnies over the last five years, including the bombing of a peace rally in the capital Ankara in October 2015 that killed 102 people.
[EN.ALGHADEER.TV] Iraqi sources reported a rocket attack around the US embassy in Baghdad on Sunday, media reported.
According to the report, three rockets were fired around the US embassy in Baghdad’s Green Zone.
The US embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, was targeted by three Katyusha rockets. Two rockets were fired around the US embassy and a third one landed inside Baghdad’s Green Zone, the source added.
Armed Iraqi Shiite faction Usbat al-Thaereen has claimed responsibility for firing 3 107mm Katyusha rockets at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad--and sources close to the group are claiming the embassy's C-RAM air defense system "failed to thwart any of the rockets fired at [it]."
A rare daytime rocket attack hit Baghdad’s Green Zone on Sunday, security sources said, as Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif ...Persian foreign minister, Mouthpiece of Mullahs, good friend of John Kerry and similar exemplars of Merkin values... met top Iraqi officials.
At least two rockets hit outside the US embassy in the high-security zone, they told AFP.
Diplomats based in the neighborhood said they could hear sirens blaring for around an hour after the attack.
The embassy’s C-RAM rocket defense system was not triggered, possibly because the missiles’ trajectory meant they would not strike within the compound.
Three dozen rocket attacks have targeted US military and diplomatic installations since October, but usually under cover of darkness.
This time, the attack took place in the searing afternoon heat as Iran’s top diplomat held back-to-back meetings with senior Iraqi officials nearby.

[israelTimes] Hezbollah-affiliated journalist says Israeli military ’hijacked’ the device, forced it to ground; army remains mum on details.
A Lebanese drone apparently crossed the border and entered Israeli airspace on Sunday evening, the Israel Defense Forces said.
A Lebanese journalist affiliated with the Hezbollah terror group reported that the device was "hijacked" by the Israeli military and forced to land.
The IDF did not confirm the report, but said that troops "took action against [the drone] with a variety of tools."
According to the Lebanese news hound, Ali Shoeib, the drone was being used to film a music video for a Hezbollah orchestra along the border when the IDF "took control of it electronically" and flew it some three kilometers (1.86 miles) into Israel.
Oh, those clever Israelis!
In a tweet, Shoeib claimed the device sent back photos from above Israeli territory before it was brought down, sharing one of the images.
The IDF refused to comment on what happened to the drone, if it indeed landed inside Israel or if flew back to Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... Israeli defense officials have accused Hezbollah of using ostensibly civilian tools, including drones, to conduct reconnaissance along the border.
"The IDF will continue to act to prevent violations of Israeli illusory sovereignty," the military said.
Though relatively calm in terms of exchanges of fire, Israel’s border with Lebanon has been increasingly active in recent months, with drug and gun smuggling, as well as regular attempts by African migrants colonists to cross the border from the economically devastated Lebanon into Israel.

[IsraelTimes] Witness says blaze takes place near or at Tabriz thermal power plant, but local media says site is cellophane factory; incident comes after morning blast at another power station.
Footage of a large factory fire in northwest Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... was being widely shared on social media Sunday afternoon, just hours after a kaboom was reported at a power station in the central province of Isfahan.
The fire just outside Tabriz appeared to be the latest in a series of unexplained industrial incidents that have been closely watched by Western observers, some of which have been attributed to covert action by Israel or other Western actors.
In the footage of the fire disseminated by a Twitter user, the photographer can be heard saying the incident took place near or in the Tabriz’s Shams Thermal Power Station.
Official state media was not immediately commenting on the fire, but the Iranian Student News Agency reporting on the incident cited a local fire service front man who said flammable liquids had spilled inside the cellophane factory, causing the blaze. The front man said several squads were working to extinguish the fire and that they had gained control of it.
Earlier Sunday, a kaboom was reported at a power station in Isfahan, in what the state news agency IRNA said was the result of faulty equipment and caused no casualties.
A "worn out transformer... at Isfahan’s Islamabad thermal power plant went kaboom! at around 5:00 am today," the managing director of Isfahan’s electricity company Said Mohseni told the agency.
The facility returned to normal working conditions after about two hours and Isfahan’s power supply was uninterrupted, he added.
"The damaged equipment is also being repaired and replaced," he said, adding that the facility supplied electricity to the city of Isfahan.
Isfahan is the region in which the Natanz nuclear facility, which was damaged in a July 2 explosion, is located. Israel’s Channel 12 said the affected power station supplies the Natanz facility.
A Middle Eastern intelligence official was quoted earlier this month by The New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... as saying the fire that badly damaged a building used for producing centrifuges at Natanz was sparked by Israel and was caused by a powerful bomb.
Israeli TV reports, without naming sources, have said the blast destroyed the laboratory in which Iran developed faster centrifuges and set back the Iranian nuclear program by one or two years.
The explosion and fire, however, did not strike Natanz’s underground centrifuge halls where thousands of first-generation gas centrifuges still spin, enriching uranium up to 4.5% purity.
Iran called for action against Israel following the damage to the Natanz facility, and appeared to acknowledge the fire there was not an accident.
The unidentified official who spoke to the New York Times said Israel was not linked to several other recent mysterious fires in Iran over past weeks.

It is highly unusual for pirates or hijackers to do this off the coast of the UAE, one of the most heavily trafficked waterways for oil tankers.
The crew of the Gulf Sky is mostly safe today. Twenty-six of them arrived back in India on July 14. Two are now in Iran, having been stuck on board the oil tanker for more than six months, much of it spent at anchor off the United Arab Emirates. With the tanker at the center of a court case in the US against the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the ownership of the Dominica-flagged vessel disputed, the tanker was not supposed to go anywhere.
However, there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened... the crew members say they were hijacked and taken to Iran.
How did it happen? This is the third, the crew said they were held at gunpoint and taken from their UAE anchorage on July 6. We previously documented that a UAE-flagged supply ship met the Gulf Sky for 58 minutes on July 5. The crew members have spoken anonymously to Safety at Sea.
This account provides new details. The Commonwealth of Dominica Maritime Administration only told the US that the tanker was missing on July 13, a week after it had disappeared. Now the crew say "heavily armed" men boarded the ship and took them away from UAE waters.
It is highly unusual for pirates or hijackers to do this off the coast of the Emirates, one of the world’s most heavily trafficked waterways for oil tankers. There are a plethora of security assets from US, French, UK and other navies in this area, including major naval ships, as well as drones that monitor the area for Iranian weapons trafficking to Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... In short, that gunnies supposedly boarded a large Suezmax-size million-barrel tanker and took it away has major ramifications for maritime security. But if the story is exaggerated, then it leads to questions about who piloted the ship to Iran.
The gunnies came aboard the ship disguised as "surveyors." The crew members say they were made aware of a coming inspection on July 2. They were told to prepare the engines, which raised suspicion.
They were gathered in a room usually used for meals and kept there. Some were tied up, and they claimed they were shouted at and even tortured. The ship left its anchorage just after midnight on July 6 and arrived in Iranian waters by July 7.
The crew members were kept hostage on the vessel until July 14, when the hijackers surprisingly disembarked them after a new sailing trip of 14 hours. From there, the men took a bus to an airport and found 26 tickets to India waiting for them. Someone had used their passports to secure them tickets. The two crew members who were left behind had expired documents.
The incident is supposedly still under investigation. It lacks clarity because there do not seem to be major concerns in the UAE about how the ship went missing. It took many days for family members of the crew to contact UAE port authorities in Khor Fakkan and have the local authorities agree to go see if they could find the ship.
It is also unclear if the crew will ever be paid. The article said their "discharge certificates" were still in Khor Fakkan in the UAE because the vessel was supposed to be under "arrest" by the Coast Guard.
It is not clear if the vessel will now remain in Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... or who actually owns the ship. A front company for the IRGC apparently had tried to buy it last year, triggering the American case, but the $12 million in payment was seized by the US.
The plight of the crew is now being raised by human-rights groups. Countries involved, including Iran, where the crew seemingly transited with no problems, have not explained how a hijacked ship with "pirates" suddenly ended up in Iranian waters. Basic details, such as where the men flew from to get home to India and where the two remaining crew members are, remain unclear.
What is clear is that a large tanker disappeared for 10 days and showed up in Iran — and it is a tanker at the heart of a US case relating to the IRGC.
The Gulf of Oman has seen other controversies over the last year. In May and June 2019, six ships were mined in the Gulf, and a US drone was shot down. The US has also interdicted three shipments of weapons to Yemen traveling from Iran.

[ARABNEWS] An explosion rocked a rebel-held area in northern Syria across the border from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... late Sunday, killing at least five people and wounding dozens, opposition activists and Ottoman Turkish state media reported.
The boom-mobile went off near the Bab al-Salameh border crossing with Turkey, the reports said. The area is controlled by Turkey-backed opposition fighters.
The blast killed seven and maimed more than 60, including women and kiddies, according to the Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human Right. The opposition war monitor said the blast was most likely carried out by sleeper cells of the ISIS group.
Other opposition activists said the blast killed five and maimed dozens.
Turkey’s state-run Anadolu news agency reported that at least five non-combatants were killed and 85 maimed in the blast. The agency said that some of the maimed who were at death's door were taken for treatment in Turkey.
It said no one grabbed credit for the attack, adding that Kurdish fighters have carried out such attacks in the past.
Anadolu reported another blast earlier Sunday maimed 13 people, including children, in the Syrian town of Afrin, which is controlled by Turkey-backed opposition fighters.
Sunday’s attacks came as parliamentary elections took place in government-held parts of the war-torn country. As in previous elections in Syria, the vote will produce a rubber-stamp body loyal to Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Leveler of Latakia...
