[KhaamaPress] Maulvi Munir, a key member of the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... ’s political office in Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... , had been killed by Afghan cops during a battle in Kandahar province.
He got busted bigly — in fact the biggest bust of all.
Interior Ministry front man Tariq Arian said in a presser on Sunday, that Maulvi Munir, a key member of the Taliban’s Qatar office, had been killed in a clash with Afghan cops in Kandahar.
According to Tariq Areen, Maulvi Munir was in charge of the Yaqub network, the commander of the Mullah Baradar and Mullah Shirin fronts, the former Taliban governor for Kandahar and a member of the Taliban’s political office in Qatar.
He added that more than 200 Paks had been killed and many more maimed during the skirmish in Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... and Kandahar provinces, who are currently receiving medical treatments in Pakistain.
[KhaamaPress] Afghan Air Force (AAF) foiled an attempted attack against the security post in Shamalzoi district of Zabul province in south Afghanistan, said the Ministry of Defense in a statement Sunday morning.
Officials did not provide further details on the status of the operation carried by AAF but said at least 10 Talibs have been killed and further eight have been maimed during festivities.
"10 Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... were killed and 8 others were maimed in Shamalzoi district of Zabul province, last night," said the MoD in a tweet.
According to the statement, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) had been the main target, but forces were able to foil the Taliban’s ominous plot.
"They were planning to attack #ANDSF positions when targeted by #AAF," the tweet added.
[KhaamaPress] The Talibs are oppressing civilians in areas under their control for days now, according to local authorities, plundering cash and available foods from the residents in Khadira village of Shaki district.
While security in Northern provinces of Afghanistan remains critical, local authorities — including residents — fear losing main cities to the krazed killers’ hand.
"The group has been collecting cash and food from the general public for several days in the village of Khadira in the Shaki district of Badakhshan," said local authorities in a Facebook post Saturday evening.
According to the statement, about 100 families are living in the village who are mostly farmers and retailers.
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The head of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Thursday pardoned the former rebel leaders, two days before their announced return to Khartoum.
On October 3, the transitional government, the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) and Sudan Liberation Movement of Minni Minnawi (SLM-MM) signed a peace agreement, mediated by the South Sudan government.
The amnesty is part of the peace agreement.
"The pardon is granted to everyone who carried weapons or participated in any of the military or war operations or contributed to any act or statement related to combat operations," read the decree seen by the Sudan Tribune.
The general amnesty included judgments issued and legal cases opened against politicians and members of armed movements because of their membership in these groups.
Also, the pardon covers the judgments issued and the cases opened by the regular forces due to the actions that occurred or were issued in the context of military confrontations or war between the government and armed movements.
During the former regime of Omer al-Bashir, Sudanese courts issued death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... s and imprisonment against many leaders and members of the armed movements.
The SRF and SLM-MM leaders will arrive in Khartoum on 15 November. Also, Presidents Salva Kiir and Idriss Deby are expected to take part in the peace celebrations that will take place on the same day.
The amnesty decision does not include persons against whom arrest warrants have been issued by the International Criminal Court. Also, it does include those facing criminal charges for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.
Excluded from the pardon, also, those who committed serious violations of international human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... and humanitarian law since 2003, in addition to the charges that fall within the jurisdiction of the Special Court for Darfur Crimes.
The peace agreement provides for the formation of a special court for the widespread violations that took place during the 17-year conflict in the Darfur region.

[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Council (SLM-TC) condemned an attack by the supporters of the SLM-Abdel Wahid al-Nur (SLM-AW) on a public meeting held in an eastern Khartoum suburb on Friday.Hadi Idris,SLM-TC leader and SRF ChairmanThe SLM-TC which is one of the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) held meeting in al-Haj Yusef to brief the residents of the area many of whom are from Darfur about the peace agreement they signed on 3 October in Juba.
The supporters SLM-AW that rejects to negotiate with the government raided the meeting using bladed weapons and guns, eyewitnesses told the Sudan Tribune
The assailants maimed the SLA-TC military spokesperson Ahmed Jedo, and the SLM-TC Secretary of Organization and Administration Sadiq Barango who was injured in the head as well as 30 other people, some of whom were taken to the hospital.
Sudan Tribune in vain sought to reach the SLM-AW front man Mohammed al-Nayer.
In a statement extended to the Sudan Tribune on Saturday, SLM-TC Spokesman Mohammedain Ishaq condemned the "treacherous attack" carried out by SLM-AW elements on the public meeting in al-Haj Youssef on Friday.
"This is the third attack of its kind from the same group on public meetings of the Sudan Liberation Movement - the Transitional Council," Ishaq said.
He added they carried out the attack under the pretext of the intellectual property right for the slogans and flag of the Movement.
"We affirm that these arguments are flimsy and do not give anyone the right to physically assault anyone," he asserted.
The SLM-TC splinted from the SLM-AW established in 2014. They carried out a joint attack with the SLM Minni Minnawi on the Sudanese army in May 2017.
Ishaq said that the police forces tasked with the protection of the meeting withdrew during the attack before to add that their behaviour appeared as they were "colluding with the aggressors."
He further asked the transitional government to investigate the withdrawing force stressing that their peace partners were responsible for protecting the SLM-TC leaders and cadres.
"The movement stresses that it has the ability to do this role in the event that government security agencies fail to ensure their safety and protect them," he concluded.
The SLM-AW rejected the Juba grinding of the peace processor.
The group leader vowed to launch a grinding of the peace processor inside Sudan to discuss the whole Sudanese crisis after the end of the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. [AlAhram] An opposition leader in Armenia has been arrested and accused of preparing to kill the prime minister, his lawyer said, adding to the political turmoil created by a controversial peace deal with neighbouring Azerbaijan.
Artur Vanetsyan, head of the centre-right Homeland party, was arrested on Saturday after being summoned to the headquarters of the Armenian security forces, his lawyers Lusine Sahakyan and Ervand Varosyan said.
They called the detention a "persecution" and denied the allegations. No, no! Certainly not! against their client -- that he was preparing to seize power after the murder of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Pashinyan has faced violent mostly peaceful street protests and fierce criticism from Armenia's political opposition since he signed a peace deal with Azerbaijan to end fighting over the disputed region of Nagorny Karabakh which erupted in September.
Armenia faced heavy losses by technologically superior Azeri troops and Pashinyan agreed to cede large parts of the mostly Christian and ethnically Armenian region to Moslem-majority Azerbaijan in order to bring an end to the hostilities.
Vanetsyan, a former boss of Armenia's security services known for his links to Russia, was also briefly detained last week along with other senior opposition figures during anti-government protests which saw the prime minister called a "traitor".
Armenian security services announced the arrest late on Saturday of another unnamed man "with anti-government views" who was allegedly found in possession of a "large number of weapons."
He was preparing "an liquidation attempt against a public figure and the seizure of power" in step with "politicians with anti-government views and their supporters."
Armenia is due to hand over disputed territory to Azerbaijan in line with a peace accord that was signed between both countries after six weeks of intense fighting over the Nagorno-Karabakh territory.https://t.co/HYldQh47Yw

[Breitbart] A group of leftist protesters attacked numerous Trump supporters who had finished taking part in a rally on the streets of Washington, DC, on Saturday. In one of the most graphic attacks, a man who tried to fight off an attack is hit from behind while at least two women kick and stomp his head.
Several videos captured numerous attacks by protesters that were chasing Trump supporters out of the rally area as the group made their way to their vehicles. Earlier in the day, thousands of Trump supporters had gathered in D.C. for a rally supporting U.S. President Donald J. Trump. Violence broke out as the rally ended and people attempted to leave.
A video shared by Jorge Ventura from @Venturareports captured several incidents where leftists protesters attacked Trump supporters and in some cases, they tried to fight back as they walked away.
The most dramatic moment takes place in the 1:25 second marker when a man holding a “Trump-Pence Out“ sneaks up from behind and sucker punches a Trump supporter knocking him out. Almost instantly two females kick and stomp on the man’s head before others rushed to his aid. Other videos also captured the intense harassment and threats that other Trump supporters even those with children, endured despite police presence in the area.
39-year-old Kenneth Wayne DeBerry, of Washington, DC, was charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct through inciting violence, and being a felon in possession of a gun. When the Metropolitan Police Department took DeBerry into custody, officers found a handgun on him.

The wanton violence in the nation’s capital today demonstrates that BLM-antifa is not going away. They’re emboldened. They are an existential threat to the Constitution & liberal democracy. My upcoming book explains how we got here & how we can stop them: https://t.co/LJ1Wt8XIvB
[THEFEDERALIST] Shutdown DC, the same group that organized protests to "make sure Trump leaves the White House" by any means necessary after the Nov. 3 election and teaches people how to "punch a Nazi," is assigning people on its email list to harass lawyers from one of the firms representing the Trump Campaign in election lawsuits.
King & Spalding is a Georgia-based firm that the Trump Campaign has used in lawsuits before.
"Here’s what you do: Call and email the King & Spalding lawyer below and tell them how you feel about what their firm is doing," the email reads, providing scripts for phone calls and templates for emails. "We have divided up the list of lawyers who work at the firm so that together we can contact a huge number of people — and this is your assigned person."
The scripts allege that the lawsuits highlighted by the campaign are "meritless," "outrageous," and a "disgrace." It also claims that any attorney involved in the lawsuits "is pursuing frivolous lawsuits for the Trump campaign that are undermining our democracy and attempting to silence the voices of Black and brown voters."
"Your firm is undermining our already fragile democracy, and I’m asking you to stop working for Trump," the phone script reads.
"You are complicit in Trump’s effort to bully and cheat his way through this election and impede a stable and safe transfer of presidential power," the email template adds.
The email also brags that "public pressure works" after claiming that another law firm associated with the legal fights in key states, Porter Wright, "announced that they were dropping out of the post-election lawsuit they had filed for Trump in Pennsylvania."

[Rudaw] Eight Iraqis were among 13 people arrested by Ottoman Turkish police in coordinated raids against suspected members of the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) on Friday, Ottoman Turkish state media has reported.
All arrests of Iraqis were made in raids conducted in the Black Sea province of Samsun, according to Anadolu Agency (AA). Police in the province were reportedly after 11 Iraqi suspects, but three remain on the lam.
Meanwhile, ...back at the dirigible, Cynthia backed into the galley, the barbecue fork held in front of her. Jack! she called. Where the hell are you?... police in the western province of Izmir arrested five people with alleged links to Mahmut Ozden — a suspected senior member of ISIS who was previously arrested by security forces in Adana province, state-owned AA reported. Police also seized digital material at the houses of the suspects.
The ethnicity of the Iraqi arrestees is unknown, and the Iraqi government has yet to comment on the arrests.
The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... is a member of the multinational Global Coalition Against ISIS (ISIS), formed when ISIS took control of swathes of Syrian and Iraqi territory in 2014.
Though Turkey has undertaken domestic operations against the bad boy group, its efforts beyond its borders have been limited. Instead, it has conducted major cross-border offensives against the Kurdish-led forces that fought ISIS on the ground.
According to data by AA, ISIS has carried out at least 10 suicide kabooms, seven kabooms and four armed attacks in the last six years, killing some 315 people and injuring hundreds others.
A new report by Ottoman Turkish security forces said that they arrested 204 ISIS suspects in raids in the month of October.
Turkey has been accused of financial and military support of ISIS, conduct Ankara has denied.
[Rudaw] Ten Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. (ISIS) group snuffies were killed in anti-terrorism raids on Qarachogh mountain, a top Peshmerga official told Rudaw English.
Joint operations were conducted between Kurdish Peshmerga forces and the US-led Coalition to defeat ISIS over the past couple of days near the town of Makhmour, a territory disputed by Erbil and Baghdad, Sirwan Barzani, commander of the Peshmerga on the Gwer-Makhmour front, told Rudaw English on Wednesday.
"They were killed by the Coalition’s air forces in two separate days. In the south of Qarachogh six snuffies were killed, and in the north of Qarachogh four snuffies were killed," said the commander. "The searching and inspection operations are ongoing."
Operations continued on Wednesday, with forces surveying tunnels and caves in the area, but no snuffies were located.
Barzani noted that anti-ISIS raids have intensified over the past four months.
"We had halted these activities due to coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... , but we have resumed intensive search and inspection since July, because according to our intel and intel from the coalition the movement of ISIS has increased," he said.
Located just 60 kilometers southwest of Erbil, Qarachogh mountain has become a safe haven for Islamic State fighters since the group’s territorial control of the Nineveh Plains came to an end in mid-2017.
Kurdish officials have repeatedly warned about the resurgence of ISIS in Makhmour, part of a swathe of northern Iraqi territory whose control is disputed by the Kurdistan Regional Government in Erbil and the federal government in Baghdad.
"The dispute has created a vacuum in which neither government wants to conduct operations against ISIS in areas of the seam, either due to a lack of political will or due to a fear that doing so could instigate conflict between the two governments," the Pentagon Inspector General reported in a report released in February.
Kurdish and Iraqi security forces backed by the US-led Coalition have separately carried out several operations in the area, but have failed to root out the snuffies from the arid mountains.

They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) prisoners are held in Kurdistan Region prisons, according to a Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) official.
"398 of the detainees have been tried and sentenced, 29 are teens and 23 are women," Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) International Advocacy Coordinator, Dindar Zebari told news hounds in a Tuesday presser.
He added that 48 suspects were released "owing to a lack of evidence."
Iraq’s Yezidi minority was particularly targeted by ISIS, which invaded the Yezidi heartland of Shingal in Nineveh province in August 2014, launching a genocide against the community. Thousands were killed and taken into captivity.
The KRG has helped rescue 2,877 Yezidi abductees, including 1,203 women, 339 men, 1,043 girls and 995 boys, Zebari said on Tuesday.
"The KRG gave official permission to an NGO to operate the first trafficking shelter in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region (IKR), and it continued to facilitate the release of several hundred Yezidis from ISIS," Zebari said in a statement.
The KRG will coordinate with the United Nations ...where theory meets practice and practice loses... Investigative Team to Promote Accountability for Crimes Committed by ISIS (UNITAD) to try ISIS suspects in mid-2021.
"The KRG has handed over a bulk of requested information directed from UNITAD to the KRG regarding ISIS Crimes and ISIS’ network," said Zebari.
In Shingal, 72 mass graves have been found, 16 of which lie in and around Kocho village. Some of these human remains have been sent to Baghdad for identification.
Exhumation of mass graves by the Iraqi government recently resumed in Shingal with the help of the KRG and international organizations.
