[Right Scoop] The media may give a pass to every Antifa transgression but there’s a least one judge who did no such thing, because an Antifa thug from Portland is going away for a long time. Halupowski at far right in graphic.
Y’all might remember the 20-something loser caught on camera cracking people over the head with a baton at a so-called "protest" in Portland, America’s combat zone. The story and the dramatic photos and video went everywhere. Well, everywhere on the right, at least. A bit tougher to find in the MSM.
Oregon Live reports that Gage Halupowski, 21, was sentenced to SIX YEARS after he pleaded guilty to second-degree assault in that June attack. The specific victim in the charge is named Adam Kelly, but there were others (see links above) including John Blum, who was identified and interviewed by Michelle Malkin and also cracked on the head.

Not a good week for our Antifa Comrades. In addition to this, the black Antifa activist who was featured in much of the same violence that took place that same day in Portland was recently arrested in Seattle for an antisemitic hate crime - which appears to be a specialty of his. Add to that, the bizarre stalking of Any Ngo where Antifa maroons showed up at his house wearing Andy Ngo masks. If this is the glory they seek, they're bathing in it

Why doesn't the SPLC list antifa as a hate group?
The SPLC condemns violence in all its forms, including the violent acts of far-left street movements like antifa (short for anti-fascist). But the propensity for violence, though present in many hate groups, is not among the criteria for listing. Also, antifa groups do not promote hatred based on race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity (see criteria above).
-------------------
So if you beat people or even murder people based on the fact that they are conservative (or even not leftist), you will never make the SPLC listing as a hate group

[NYPOST] A mother overdosed on heroin while pulled over on a Florida highway with three kids in her minivan ‐ leaving her sobbing 12-year-old daughter to call 911 begging for help, according to authorities.
"My mom won’t wake up and we’re on I-4 in the car!" the pre-teen told a dispatcher amid the sound of screaming as she tried to make sure the vehicle was parked properly on a grass verge.
"I put it in "N" because I don’t know how to put it in ’Park,’ " said the girl, who was with two brothers, aged seven and one, along with two dogs, according to Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Mom Tiffany Smith, 28, of Deltona, came round in an ambulance after getting a shot of Narcan, the force said as it released bodycam footage of last Thursday’s terrifying incident.
"I honestly took heroin because my back was hurting," Smith told an officer while on a stretcher in the back of the ambulance.
"Heroin? Is that something you should be taking for your back?" an incredulous-sounding officer asked.
"It’s not," Smith mumbled, adding, "But I had no painkiller and my back was hurting and I was making a five-hour trip."
Smith was charged with child neglect but was not immediately booked into jail as she was treated at a hospital in Orange City, where she was said to be in a stable condition, according to the statement.
The three children were not injured and were placed in the custody of their grandmother, the sheriff’s office said. Two dogs in the minivan were turned over to Volusia County Animal Control officers.

[IBT] A 59-year-old pilot had died after his plane crashed ahead of the Florida air show on Friday afternoon, officials said. Days later, the scheduled shows were canceled due to bad weather.
The deceased, Dr. Joseph Masessa, was flying the Grumman OV-1 Mohawk at Witham Field when it nosedived and burst into flames at around 1 p.m. EST. Witnesses recalled seeing black smoke at the site and the fire was soon extinguished. Masessa was scheduled to participate in the Stuart Air Show that weekend.
This crash possibly marked the first fatality in the 30-year-history of the show, officials said. All air shows for Friday were canceled after the incident and the scheduled events of Saturday and Sunday were canceled owing to weather concerns.
Masessa was a dermatologist with offices in New Jersey, South Carolina and Florida. He had reportedly bought and restored the Vietnam-era Grumman OV-1 Mohawk many years ago and even participated in several air shows previously, according to The Palm Beach Post.
"On Friday, November 1, 2019, we lost Dr. Joseph Masessa while preparing for this weekend’s event," The Stuart Air Show wrote on Instagram. "Joe was a beloved performer of the air show, a local Floridian, and will forever be family."
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is reportedly investigating the crash.

Awesome guy - great loss. I spoke with him a few years ago about performing at a Vietnam era air show. Couldn't afford him but wish I'd booked him. I think that was the only privately owned fly able Mowhawk in the US
[SPUTNIKNEWS] Steve Easterbrook is no longer CEO of McDonald's Corporation and his post has officially been taken by Chris Kempczinski, who earlier served as president of McDonald's USA, the company announced on Sunday, following the decision of the Board of Directors.
"Kempczinski succeeds Steve Easterbrook, who has separated from the Company following the Board's determination that he violated company policy and demonstrated poor judgment involving a recent consensual relationship with an employee", McDonald's said in an official statement.

They should have replaced him when he said he wanted to turn McDonald's into a modern, progressive burger company. Right then, I knew they were doomed.

:Heh: Typical corporate action when they want to fire someone -- look for an excuse, like this, rather than scaring the shareholders by being truthful and saying the dumbass was ruining the company.

Just ran a name link check on Mr. Easterbrook, with the results added to the article. Only one article in the Rantburg archives, but he had been an Obama advisor when McDonald’s hired him in 2015. At that time everyone assumed Hillary Clinton would inherit the mantle, so investing in connected Democrats was a good bet. Now it's not, and given that a lot of people believe President Trump will be reelected, it is looking considerably worse for years to come. And he has done nothing to improve sales.
Mr. Wife observed that Mr. Easterbrook was probably helping himself to the help his whole career, but probably this time the woman — or another female unhappy about preferential treatment — complained where someone with the power to act heard about it.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Firefighters in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, made progress Saturday containing a sizable new blaze in the southern part of the state as they continued to battle a much larger fire in the north.
The so-called Maria Fire broke out Thursday in bone-dry conditions in Ventura County, 65 miles (105 kilometers) northwest of Los Angeles, sending thousands of people fleeing and endangering more than 2,500 structures.
It had spread to 9,412 acres (3,808 hectares) by Saturday evening, California fire officials said, but was 30 percent contained.
The progress came despite the forced grounding overnight of firefighting helicopters after at least two hobby drones were seen operating in the area, posing a risk of collision, officials said.
The Ventura County Fire Department warned on Twitter that "even a tiny drone can cause a serious or fatal accident if it collides with firefighting aircraft."
In Sonoma County north of the Socialist paradise of San Francisco ...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964... , the Kincade Fire -- the largest in the state this season -- was continuing to burn over 77,758 acres on Saturday evening and was 74 percent contained, state officials said.
The fires prompted Governor Gavin Newsom to declare an emergency across the state, parts of which have not had rainfall for months.
An extreme red-flag warning issued for the Los Angeles area this week was lifted Thursday but the National Weather Service warned that so-called Santa Ana winds could still wreak havoc through Saturday evening.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The corpse count in two powerful quakes that struck the southern Philippines in the past week has risen to 21, authorities said Sunday, as survivors struggled to access food and water.
The 6.6-magnitude and 6.5-magnitude quakes hit the island of Mindanao two days apart, destroying buildings and displacing tens of thousands of residents.
Some villagers staying under tents near a highway were begging for help from passing motorists, carrying placards asking for food and water, TV footage showed.
Rescuers had found more bodies, many crushed by falling debris and landslides caused by the violent shaking, the national disaster council said.
The quakes also left 432 residents injured with two people still missing, it added.
Thursday’s big quake was the third since mid-October in the Mindanao region, which makes up a third of the Philippines.
Temporary shelters have been set up to house more than 20,000 displaced individuals ‐ many already there since the first quake struck on October 16, leaving seven people dead.

[New York Post] A pregnant woman is credited with saving the lives of her husband and daughter after she used an AR-15 to fatally gun down a home intruder, a report said.
The hero mom sprung into action when two intruders entered the family’s Lithia, Fla. home last week and pistol whipped her husband while violently grabbing their daughter, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
"They came in heavily hooded and masked," the husband, Jeremy King, told Bay News 9. "Military Assault-Style Hoods™. Semi-Automatic Masks, we verified"
"As soon as they had got the back door opened, they had a pistol on me and was grabbing my 11-year-old daughter."
The robbers then pistol-whipped King and kicked him while the man’s wife, who is eight months pregnant, retreated into the bedroom.
"When he came toward the back door in her line of sight, she clipped him," King told the outlet. "He made it from my back door to roughly 200 feet out in the front ditch before the AR did its thing."
Police said in a press conference that they found the man’s dead body lying in the ditch nearby. The second suspect was on the loose. "Feet, don't fail me now!"
The homeowner said he took a "severe beating," but credited his wife for saving him.
"I’ve got a fractured eye socket, a fractured sinus cavity, a concussion, 20 stitches and three staples in my head," said King.

The AR did it's thing. Please. It's no different from a broom. It does nothing until a person picks it up. The guy talks like a gangsta. I imagine someone came looking for drugs or drug money.

...alleged?? Since when do RAB junior officers tasked with writing up the reports use weaselly pseudo-legal vocabulary like alleged?
robbers were killed in a reported gunfight with members of Rapid Action Batalion (RAB) in Sitakunda upazila
...it’s somewhere on the 10:1 map folded up in the file in the last file cabinet in the back of the third sub-basement. Get it out to the airport on a sunny, windless day to unfold, and you’ll be able to find it if you bring a strong magnifying glass....
early on Tuesday (Oct 29).
It was zero dark thirty, when all the good citizens were snuggly asleep in their beds, snoring disharmoniously. Suddenly, in the silence, the sound of a single shot rang out...
Through Rab claimed that three deceased were inter-district robbers but could not identify them.
Wanted in nine systems, they wuz — and in the end not even their mothers wanted them.
Squadron Leader Shafayat Jamil Fahim, the deputy commander of RAB-7, confirmed that three people were killed in the 'gun battle' with the elite force.
*Bang bang bangetty-bang* And when the bodies were found afterward, they had each been randomly shot behind the right ear.
RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media)
...good lord — how many assistant directors do RABs have nowadays?
said in a SMS that the gunfight occurred between inter-district robbers and the patrol team of RAB in the Chhota Kumira area of the upazila early in the morning.
It was zero dark forty-five when the silence returned, but the good citizens were carefully deaf to all but their own snores when the RAB men observed the bodies on the X-marked spot where all the gunfights have been occurring recently...
Later, three bullet-riddled bodies, two firearms with a foreign pistol, 12 rounds bullets and two sharp weapons were recovered from the scene. Apparently, some firearms come equipped with a foreign pistol for backup.
Interesting things can be found between encounters in the velvet-lined cases in Sergeant Rafiq’s evidence room.

Awesome. Love the map riff, but, yesterday being the one day of the year I can't resist a challenge, I looked up "Ilish Ferry Ghat," which turned out to be surprisingly findable. Practically a tourist destination. Gateway to Bohunk Island or somesuch... a little piece of Bangladesh fell from the sky one day, and it looked so flat and muddy there, the angels let it stay. Pleasantly tropical interior, though. And who knew "launch spotting" was a thing? Smitten I am. So thanks!
[SPUTNIKNEWS] UK MP Daniel Kawczynskis has hit out at financier George Soros ...either Ernst Stavro Blofeld or Auric Goldfinger come true... after he announced that his financial contributions to a pro-Remain group called "Better for Britannia" were merely meant to "educate" the British public about the pitfalls of Brexit.
Commenting on Soros’ remarks, Kawczynski accused the famous investor of harbouring disdain for the decision the UK citizens made during the Brexit referendum.
"He is obviously part of a Herculean effort to try to instigate propaganda in the UK. He says we don’t know what we are doing. He says we are making a mistake and he wants to change our minds," he said as quoted by the Sunday Express. "He is typical of some of the patronising, privileged people you have in Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... . He has an enormous amount of disdain for the decision we have made."
Kawczynski also remarked that Soros "has a track record of interfering," noting that the financier should probably focus on his wealth and "leave other countries to manage their own affairs."
"In this country we rightly call out allegations of interference against for example Russia. But it seems like if you are an individual with huge resources you can do that," the politician noted.
Earlier, George Soros told The Guardian that he considers his funding of the anti-Brexit group "political philanthropy," as Britannia seceding from the EU is allegedly "a process of disintegration that hurts both sides."

Certain agencies (including yours) have built detailed dossiers on the conniving bastard for years now. While I can't go into detail, I say what I've learnt.
The Quantum Group and it's auxiliaries function like a Consolidated Fund for an ideological nation of lobbyists and some quite autonomous and opposed organizations, each seeking an outcome that Soros believes will hasten the endgame. The undermining of sovereignties, the dissolution of borders and the negation of the individual State altogether.
While many believe the various trusts and funds that power the 'Open X Initiatives' are separate, this increasingly seems to be not so. The requisite foundation (or Initiative) only signs the cheques, but the strategists paid by Quantum still decide who gets what funding, they engineer the circuses and crowds through on-ground contractual roustabouts. Like Luisa Neubauer who manages the Thunburg family for instance.
The recent scandal targeting NSO through Whatsapp, challenging sovereign states for their judgement call to keep tabs on known offenders ? Perpetrated by a Soros backed Ronald Deibert who runs the CitizenLab in Canada as part of the OpenNet Initiative, an aggregation of professionals who investigate overreach by censorship, gagging or surveillance. All funded by Soros.
Their attempt to fuck with the Israeli firm and assist growing commie extremism in Southeast Asia has now opened up the Soros funded organizations to... unforeseeable action, for sure. At least the ground level workers. But the demise of the old geyser will not have much effect on the autonomous groups which have their own interests and have been raised by his largesse over the years. They have accumulated enough participants and financiers by now.
One way to destroy their attempts would be for sovereign states to outlaw political philanthropy and lobbying altogether. Whoever wants to support legislation may fund a party through bonds or dedicated securities. No cash or kind donations, etc ? And to clamp down hard upon paid functionaries posing as rights groups and Non-profits carrying out agenda in opposition to State policies. I mean Sedition and Treason laws.

To be replaced with what
Incorporated agencies of control, with PMs, Houses, Presidents, Chancellors as mere conduits of policy ? The policy dictated by seemingly altruistic cosmopolites with delusions of being world saviors.
I don't even credit people like Soros with having a plan, maybe they just haphazardly support every pitch that appeals to them. To his way of thinking, he made his money despite States, not because of stable economies provided by States.

In a statement, the government said President Nayib Bukele recognized opposition leader Juan Guaidó ...Venezuelan politician, a member of the social-democratic Popular Will party, and serves as a federal deputy to the National Assembly representing the state of Vargas. In 2019 he was appointed by the Popular Will party to become the president of the National Assembly, after which he declared he was acting president of the country, challenging Nicolás Maduro's presidency and starting the 2019 Venezuelan presidential crisis.... as Venezuela’s interim president until free elections were held in the South American country. El Salvador will receive a new Venezuela diplomatic corps, named by Guaido, the government added.
"In the near future, El Salvador awaits the receipt of credentials for Venezuela’s new diplomatic representation," the statement said.
Multiple countries have recognized Guaido, citing irregularities in Maduro’s re-election process. The opposition leader controls several Venezuelan embassies, including in the United States and Costa Rica, but has not been able to dislodge Maduro from the presidency.
The US ambassador to El Salvador, Ronald Johnson, wasted little time in praising the decision.
"We applaud the government of Nayib Bukele for ensuring that El Salvador is on the right side of history by recognizing Guaido as the interim president of Venezuela," he tweeted in Spanish shortly after El Salvador made its announcement.
The Salvadoran move came less than a week after the US government extended temporary protections for Salvadorans living in the United States by an extra year. Sounds like it mighta been a quid pro quo. Probably another impeachable offense.
[AlAhram] Venezuela's foreign ministry said on Sunday it was expelling El Salvador's diplomats from the country, in response to the Central American country's decision to expel diplomats representing Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
In a statement, the ministry said it would give the diplomats 48 hours to leave. El Salvador President Nayib Bukele's government does not recognize Maduro as legitimate and said on Saturday it would receive a new diplomatic corps representing opposition leader Juan Guaidó.

[Townhall] In August, there was a serious Florida man story. No, sadly, it had nothing to do with insane drunken escapades of the residents of the Sunshine State. It had to do with a high school principal actually giving a platform to Holocaust denial. No nutty speakers of this sort were invited but he did take the approach of saying that he couldn’t declare that the Holocaust was a factual event. Well, it wasn't a real Holocaust - not compared to the Black Holocaust in USA.
With no discussion, the school board for the School District of Palm Beach County voted 5-2 to end William Latson’s more than 20-year-employment with the district.
Latson, who was the principal of Spanish River Community High School in Boca Raton for 11 years, was reassigned in July after emails he wrote to a mother’s inquiry in April 2018 surfaced. A day after his reassignment, Superintendent Donald Fennoy asked the School Board not to renew Latson’s contract. Allison Castellano, a Spanish River alumna and parent, was later appointed as the school’s new principal.

[WashingtonExaminer] A mother in Texas was found dead alongside her three children on Friday in an apparent triple murder-suicide.
Ashley Auzenne, 39, was known to have been battling depression and anxiety in addition to physical ailments such as arthritis and lupus at the time of her death, which was ruled as a suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Her three children, Parrish, 11, Eleanor, 9, and Lincoln, 7, were also killed by gunshots and their mother is the only suspect. She had just finalized a contentious divorce from their father, Murvin Auzenne Jr.
Auzenne was a vocal advocate for stricter gun control in the United States with multiple social media postings calling for an end to gun violence and Facebook profile pictures that bore the hashtags #Enough and #EndGunViolence. She knew for a fact that some people can't be trusted with guns.

[WHDH] An outraged man traveling on the Mass. Pike stopped his car Friday morning to rip down a sign hanging from a highway overpass in Newton that read "It’s OK to be white."
Thousands of commuters on the busy highway got a glimpse of the large white banner that featured bold black lettering, prompting a response from the Anti-Defamation League of New England.
"It’s pretty disappointing to see people in Massachusetts using a platform like that to disseminate a message that excludes people and targets people," said Robert Trestan, Executive Director of the ADL’s Boston office.
Sean Roche, who was driving with his daughter, got out of his car and tore the sign down before police arrived at the scene.
"It’s a statement that being white is under attack right now and it’s just not true," Roche told 7NEWS. "Being white is such an advantage in this society. To suggest otherwise is just straight-up racism." Betcha the guy is white
It's not about this or that race. It's a foolish doctrine that refutes everything that the civil rights movement achieved. It turns MLK's great formulation inside out, putting color of skin above the content of our character.

I was in Texas headed to Robinson, and my rented car got stolen by two black guys from outside a diner. We all saw them take it. The diner called the cops and everyone sympathized, they said this almost never happened there.
When the cops asked me for a description I unabashedly said 'It was two black males - one 5'4 and the other 5'8. The taller one was lanky...'
They were looking at me agape, those white waco cops. One of them suggested 'So two African Americans..'
Thoroughly enjoying myself now, I said 'Nope ! Two black guys. Not necessarily Americans. They could've been from Djibouti for all I know !'
One actual African-American guy was actually laughing into his meal and later gave me a ride. He was a cool fellow, christian and very sporting. he dropped me to another rent-a-car near University in Waco well out of his way.
