The Russians would be making more than twice as much if they could sell on the global market. And they can't spend it due to sanctions. It's dead money. It not even worth the paper it is printed on because there is no paper, only bits in a computer in New York where it will be confiscated when the time comes.

Russia banks, except for two connected with gas and oil sales, have been removed from SWIFT. That means they can't do international currency transactions, i.e. they can't pay for purchases except in certain exempt categories, like medicine. Try using a Russian bank card outside Russia lately?
So money goes into Russia via Gazprombank but can't be spent on consumer, industrial or technology imports. Dead money, until confiscated.

You dope, there are plenty of alternatives to SWIFT. To take the most obvious one, nations can use the messaging system set up and used by China and Russia.
These retarded sanctions are simply pushing China and Russia and India closer together, at the same time that the Biden administration is literally destroying Germany’s industrial base and much of Europe’s along with it. Trade between Russia and China & India is skyrocketing.
China, India and Russia are benefiting from Biden’s stupidity. Europe and the US are suffering from it.

Facts still remain, dollar purchases of oil and gas can't be spent. That's by far the majority of Russian revenue, but decreasing steadily.
Russia can become subservient to China as much as they please. A Yuan dominated Russia pleases, well, China. Serves them right to become a Chinese vassal after this the shit they pulled.
