#26 Russia banks, except for two connected with gas and oil sales, have been removed from SWIFT. That means they can't do international currency transactions, i.e. they can't pay for purchases except in certain exempt categories, like medicine. Try using a Russian bank card outside Russia lately?

So money goes into Russia via Gazprombank but can't be spent on consumer, industrial or technology imports. Dead money, until confiscated.
