Protesters Clash With Trump Supporters Outside Minneapolis Rally
[TheHill] Clashes between protesters and supporters of President Trump were reported outside the Target Center in Minneapolis where the president gave a rally on Thursday night.

USA Today reported that urine was thrown in the streets and police eventually had to use pepper spray to subdue the crowd.
Aah... good ! I just hope they used it on the protesters.
Protests began hours before Trump took the stage, according to USA Today, as various advocacy groups gathered across the street from the venue.
Apparently, he ripped the Somali tribes living around Minnesota by saying "For many years, leaders in Washington brought large numbers of refugees to your state from Somalia without considering the impact on schools and communities and taxpayers,"
Fox News reporter Matt Finn tweeted that protesters had also burned Trump's signature "MAGA" hats. The video he posted shows a small fire being extinguished by police, though it is not immediately clear whether it contained "MAGA" hats.

Meanwhile, Jenna Johnson, a correspondent with The Washington Post, tweeted a video of a clash outside the center. She wrote in the tweet that it was protesters attacking a man leaving the Trump rally whom somebody had identified as a Nazi.

California Employees, Schools, Neighbours (?) Shall Soon Seek Restraining Orders For Gun Ownership
[SacBee] Californians will soon be able to ask courts to take guns away from co-workers and students they believe to be dangerous, under a new law Gov. Gavin Newsom signed on Friday.

Law enforcement agencies and immediate family members today are the only people who can file a petition to halt another person's access to guns. Assembly Bill 61 will expand the use of gun violence restraining orders.

Starting on Sept. 1, 2020, schools and employers can also initiate requests.

California has seen three dozen mass shootings thus far into 2019, according to data from the Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit organization tracking the issue. More than 12,000 people died in the state from firearms between 2014 and 2017, data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows.
Yeah, they got Syphilis from sharing mags.

Two Years and Multiple Lawsuits Result in Nothing – Deutsche Bank Doesn't Have Trump Tax Returns…
[Conservative Treehouse] Two years of litigation, thousands of resistance hours used, millions spent on lawyers, and they don't even get a T-Shirt. Oh dear... too funny.

(New York Times) If investigators are going to get their hands on President Trump's tax returns, they will have to find them somewhere other than Deutsche Bank.

The German bank has told a federal appeals court that it does not have the president's personal tax returns, the court said on Thursday.

[NY Post] As many as five people were stabbed Friday morning inside a Starbucks in the northern English city of Manchester ‐ and counter-terrorism police launched an investigation after a suspect was caught, according to reports.

Greta Thunberg Does NOT Win The Nobel Peace Prize
Better luck next year, ya hectoring little witch...
[The Sun (UK), where America Gets Its Real News] - GRETA Thunberg has been snubbed for the Nobel Peace Prize which has instead been awarded to Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for ending the 20-year Eritrea conflict.

Bookies had suggested the teen climate campaigner was the front runner for the illustrious honour, after she launched a furious tirade at the United Nations.

But the Nobel Institute gave the award to the Ethiopian leader for ending one of Africa's longest running conflicts.

Within months of coming to office in 2018 ,the 43-year-old signed a "Joint Declaration of Peace and Friendship" with Eritrean Prime Minister Isaias Afwerki.

He was also praised for his domestic reforms, including releasing tens of thousands of political prisoners and allowed previously banned opposition groups.

The prize is £730,000 and will be formally awarded in Oslo in December.

Judicial Watch Files Two New Lawsuits Seeking Records of How CFIUS Investments by Ukraine, China Firms Tied to Hunter Biden
[JudicialWatch] October 10, 2019

Judicial Watch announced today it filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits against the State and Treasury Departments seeking documents related to consideration by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) of investments in the U.S. by two companies tied to Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden ‐ Ukraine’s Burisma Holdings and China’s Bohai Harvest RST (BHR).

The Judicial Watch lawsuits were filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after the State and Treasury Departments failed to respond to June 24, 2019, FOIA requests for CFIUS records related to investments by the Ukrainian company Burisma Holdings LTD or any of its affiliated entities and records related to investments by the Chinese company Bohai Harvest RST or any of its affiliated entities (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:19-cv-02960)), (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of the Treasury (No. 1:19-cv-02961).

CFIUS is commissioned to review "transactions involving foreign investment in the U.S. in order to determine the effect of such transactions on the national security of the United States."

Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden, is reported to be one of nine directors of BHR Partners, which was registered 12 days after the vice president’s son, in December 2013, flew to Beijing aboard Air Force Two, while his father made an official visit as vice president. Hunter Biden, then-chairman of the private equity firm Rosemont Seneca, reportedly signed a deal with the Chinese government-owned Bank of China to set up the BHR $1 billion joint venture investment fund.

In 2015, BHR Partners participated in a $600 million buyout of Michigan automotive-suspension-systems maker Henniges Automotive. Henniges produces anti-vibration technologies which have important military uses, particularly in military aircraft.

In April 2014, Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma Holdings, one of the Ukraine’s largest natural gas companies. Hunter was reportedly paid $50,000 a month to, in the words of a Burmisa news release, "provide support for the Company among international organizations." Biden has denied that was his role.

In 2015, Viktor Shokin, Ukraine’s prosecutor general, launched an investigation into allegedly corrupt practices by Burisma. Shokin was ousted in 2016. And in a widely distributed 2018 video, Joe Biden confirmed that he had successfully pressured the Ukrainian government, under threat of withholding $1 billion in U.S. government aid, to fire Shokin.

The Commerce Department recently barred over two dozen Chinese companies from doing business in the U.S., one of which is reported to be Megvii Technology, an artificial intelligence company focused on developing facial recognition technology. BHR Partners owns a stake in Megvii.

"Judicial Watch will continue to press for information to get to the bottom of this influence-peddling scandal involving Joe Biden and his son," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "As Congress is obsessed with attacking President Trump, it is again up to Judicial Watch to do the basic investigative work on this growing Biden scandal."

In September, Judicial Watch sued the State Department for records about the firing of Ukraine’s top prosecutor after then-Vice President Joe Biden threatened to withhold aid.

Afghanistan
‘Not a Great Way to Start the Day' The courage and humility of a Medal of Honor recipient.
[WSJ] On Thursday morning the White House announced that President Donald Trump will award the Medal of Honor to Army Master Sgt. Matthew O. Williams for conspicuous gallantry in Afghanistan in April of 2008. It’s a good thing the President is celebrating the remarkable service of Sgt. Williams because the courageous Green Beret clearly isn’t prone to celebrating himself.

In an Army video posted today, our hero describes the ordeal he faced that day in the Shok Valley in a tone one might use to describe the challenges of installing drywall in an unfinished basement. He describes jumping out of a helicopter on to the treacherous terrain and credibly reports that it was "not a great way to start the day."

Things went downhill from there. According to the White House:

Will The Clintons Destroy The Democratic Party?
[Zero] Let's start by stipulating my bias: I would cheer the collapse of both self-serving, venal political parties, which have stood by for decades as the rich have become immeasurably richer and the politically powerful few have disempowered the many. The transparent "populist" bleatings of both parties--"we serve the people!"--sound increasingly like stale, pathetically disconnected from reality Soviet-era propaganda.

Let's say I'm a relatively disinterested observer other than my fervent wish that both corrupt, self-serving parties slide into the dustbin of history, the sooner the better.

The Republicans were hijacked by Donald Trump and given a binary choice: accept Trump as their candidate and have a chance of winning, or reject him and guarantee losing. After surveying the wreckage left by the Bush dynasty and Romney's loss, the Repubs swallowed their distrust and distaste for The Donald and chose winning over losing--the easily predictable choice for all politicos.

The Democrats chose to enact a Greek tragedy featuring off-the-charts hubris. Despite Hillary's private email server, the Clinton Foundation's shameless shakedowns for millions of dollars in "contributions" (the polite word for influence peddling), and her delight in mocking those who chose not to vote for her as "deplorables," the Democrats were supremely confident that the Clinton dynasty would sweep them to an easy and overwhelming victory.

As the Greek dramatists understood, hubris doesn't just invite disaster, it welcomes disaster. The Democrats were then handed a binary choice: either cast the Clintons adrift with a few provisions and a hearty cheer and move on, or set the course of the Party for the next four years to the Clintons' Ahab-like obsession: we wuz robbed, and the terrible error of history (Hillary losing the 2016 election) would have to be corrected regardless of the cost.

To aid their mono-maniacal campaign, the Democrats partnered with the most anti-Democratic and corrupting force in America, the alphabet agencies of Imperial Pretensions, the CIA et al., who are institutionally bound to view the citizenry's right to choose its government and its government's policies with utter disdain: we rule the Empire, and democracy is only acceptable as long as it rubber-stamps our rule.

Libs Killed California ‐ And They Blame Trump!
[Rush] Then we go to California, the news out of California. Californians have voted for Democrats for two or three decades now, and these Democrats have passed laws and have ignored basic forest management to appease rabid, insane, lunatic environmentalist wackos, and now they’re facing the prospect of their power being cut off before fires start because it’s almost a sure thing the fires are gonna happen.

And guess who’s responsible for this? Why, none other than Donald J. Trump is to blame for this. Trump is to blame for everything liberals are unhappy about. But there isn’t a Republican fingerprint on any legislation in California in 20 years. You know what the price of gasoline’s creeping up to in Los Angeles now? Try six bucks! An environmentalist wacko paradise.

Marines May Consider New Modular Stackable Grenade
[Guns America] Arms manufacturer Nammo is looking to increase the Marines’ flexibility when it comes to next-generation hand grenades. Currently, many branches of the military are open to suggestions on the subject of better hand grenades, and Nammo’s MK21 Mod0 solution is modular.

The Marine Corps largely relies on the M67 Fragmentation Grenade, which is very effective as a "defensive grenade," but it can be too much when working in close quarters. Nammo’s modular grenade is an "offensive grenade" which relies more on concussion rather than fragmentation for effect.

The benefit of a concussion grenade’s limited reach is also its major drawback. To get around this limitation Nammo’s design can be stacked or daisy-chained into much larger, more powerful explosives.

By using one charge the grenade works like a concussion grenade with very light fragmentation. Two charges provide a more standard "defensive" grenade explosive, and three ‐ and even potentially more ‐ grenades can be linked together "to destroy structures," writes the Marine Corps Times.

In 2013 a Syrian Anti-Assad fighter disabled a T-72 when he snuck up and rolled a grenade down the tank barrel. Think of what would happen with a 3 grenade stack on the T-72.

Orange Man confirms bomb maker and terrorist Ibrahim al-Asiri is Tango Uniform
[Statement from POTUS] This will confirm for the first time that Ibrahim al-Asiri, a senior al-Qa’ida bomb maker and terrorist coordinator, was killed two years ago in a United States counterterrorism operation in Yemen. Al-Asiri built explosive devices that were used in the failed Christmas Day 2009 underwear bomb attack and the disrupted printer cartridge bomb plot in 2010. He also built an explosive device intended to be used against a passenger aircraft in 2012, and the device used in the attempted assassination of the former Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Al-Asiri’s death significantly handicapped al-Qa’ida in the Arabian Peninsula. The United States will continue to hunt down terrorists like al-Asiri until they no longer pose a threat to our great Nation.

The Battle of Tours

On this date, in AD732, Charles Martel led the Franks against Muslim invaders near the city of Tours and turned back the tide of Islamic advance at the Battle of Tours (sometimes called the Battle of Poitiers).

In the preceding 110 years, Islam, thanks to the diligent efforts of polite young men in white shirts and neckties on bicycles going out two-by-two, had spread from its origins in the Arabian peninsula through south-central Asia and across the north of Africa, and up into the Iberian peninsula.

#2  Kurds were a means to an end, the sasquatch being the go-to biological weapon of America since the 80s. They misfire sometimes, sometimes they undo their leashes and bite you in the arse.

It's a Democrat conceit to be honest a gift from Prez Carter's time this doctrine of low-intensity proxy conflict and promising 'democracy' to the winner.

If they want their Kurdistan, they should fight for it. Everyone has helped them enough. If the aid and weapons supplied over the years were not pilfered by 'comrades', they could give the Turks quite a little war.

What I still don't get is why didn't those stupid bastards execute the ISIS prisoners ? They could have let the women and children below 15 live, and just ... offed the rest. What kind of faggot communists are they ?

#3  I think the evangelicals need to be informed most about who exactly fights for what over there, since they're rather upset with the whole thing. I had a talk with many of my own friends in congregations in Indiana and Kentucky and explained the whole thing. I hope they'll tell others.

As for the video, it's source is a Syrian fake news vlogger called Mimi Yupp ! whose journalistic coups include proving Epstein as a Mossad agent and carping about the US invading Syria with the daesh as an excuse.

Many Iraqi and Syrian Kurdish groups fighting the daesh banded together with what were then being called 'christian militias', to protect churches and communities in Iraq against the rise of the daesh. Some evangelicals in America, Asia and maybe Europe (?) supported these militias and rallied behind how they were aided by the PKD backed peshmerga.

Gawd only knows if the projected accord was real or another sample of ;

'Send at least $100 to Brother Louie who'll make sure it reaches a battle weary Kurd fighting for our right to preach the majestic truths only we know ! '

Kurdistan Regional Government (Iraqi region) says it is home to over 350,000 christians. Backed by the PKD (kurdistan democratic party), it has had mutually beneficial dealings with Turkey in the recent past, with Turkey invested in the regional infra. Christians in Iraq are slightly better off because of the democratic nature of the set-up.

The Rojava (Syrian) Kurds are backed by the Communist PKK and have no such leanings. They keep stressing that the Kurds of both regions should unite into a composite Kurdistan league under of course the PKK. A libertarian, mobocracy is all that they want. Their moto of 'Azadi' is similar to that of the Kashmiri secessionists.

Since Kurds of any stripe are ultimately muslims, I neither put much faith in their claims nor their alliances or continued favor toward Christians. But they did protect christians from the daesh. So, it's grey, the situation. And going to be soon shot with scarlet and vermilion and brown of varying shades.

#18  Herb, have you ever read the Anabasis? You know, the "March of the 10,000"? The Greeks -- as in ancient days of Socrates Greeks -- made their way through what's now Kurdish territory, running from the Persian army. The locals, despite also being enemies of the Persians, ambushed the freezing, starting Greeks as they made their way through.

The Kurds are the Kurds. They're people, rough and violent in a particularly violent part of the world. They're only preferable to their neighbors because their neighbors are particularly nasty.

We used them as much as they used us. They knew we wouldn't stay there forever -- if they didn't, then the Vietnamese would have told them.

'Potentially historic' October storm to slam north-central U.S. with snow, strong winds
[NBC] Weather forecasters said the storm is expected to linger over the Northern Plains into the weekend, with 6 to 12 inches of snow predicted for the region.

A "potentially historic" storm will batter the north-central United States over the next few days with some parts seeing "moderate to heavy snow" and record low temperatures, according to various weather agencies.

As of Thursday morning, the storm had already dumped some snow on certain parts of Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. Forecasters said there was already a report of 24 inches of snow in Pony, Montana.

The Park County Sheriff's Office in Livingston, Montana, posted photos on its Facebook page of a snow-covered interstate and asked motorists to drive safely. Police in Denver issued the same message to drivers after they received 96 traffic crash reports in the span of three hours.

ICE Chief: Lawmakers Must Stop ‘Ugly Rhetoric' and ‘Vilification' of Immigration Agents
[Daily Signal] The chief of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement called out members of Congress for demonizing federal agents while not addressing relevant laws.

"The safety and security of our personnel‐officers and non-officers alike‐is our primary concern. I think that’s why we’ve been so strident with our concerns about the ugly rhetoric that has been utilized around this issue and the vilification of the men and women of ICE," Matt Albence, acting director of the agency, told The Daily Signal on Thursday during a White House press briefing.

A string of threats against ICE agents and facilities has occurred in recent months, including a shooting at one facility in San Antonio, Texas, and an attempted firebomb attack at another in Tacoma, Washington. Police also arrested protesters in Washington, D.C., for charging an ICE building.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has called ICE detention centers for illegal aliens "concentration camps," invoking Nazi Germany.

Other lawmakers on the state and federal levels also have been highly critical of ICE and say they want to abolish the agency within the Department of Homeland Security.

Mississippi Woman Gets 15 Years After Trying to Win Votes Via Bribes
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Courtney Rainey has been sentenced to 15 years with three years suspended in prison for witness intimidation in the Canton voter fraud case.

She was also given five years of supervised probation upon release. Her attorney plans to appeal.

Judge Arthur says there is a key difference between Rainey and others who have pleaded guilty in the Canton voter fraud case.

"All the other people charged accepted responsibility," said Judge Authur. "None of those people were charged with witness intimidation. Additionally, this court had Andrew Grant stand in front of it and say, ’I acted with Courtney Rainey in a manner to attempt to commit voter fraud.’"

During sentencing, Attorney Carlos Tanner stressed Rainey’s work in the community and no serious crimes with the exception of two shoplifting convictions, one expunged from her record.

A doctor's office that charges $150 a month and doesn't take insurance just raised $26 million to take its model national
[News Of The Day] Parsley Health, a medical practice that charges a monthly fee and doesn’t take insurance, just raised $26 million in a round led by White Star Capital.

At Parsley Health, a $150-a-month membership provides access to doctors and health coaches, with the goal of treating conditions in a more comprehensive way than traditional primary care.

Now, Parsley wants to bring its services to people who can’t get to one of its three locations through a virtual service.

Parsley Health, a new kind of doctor’s office that charges a monthly fee and doesn’t take insurance, is planning to take its business virtual.

The company, which operates three clinics in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, on Thursday said it raised $26 million to help pull off that expansion.

White Star Capital led the Series B round, with FirstMark Capital, Amplo, Alpha Edison Partners, Arkitekt Ventures, and Galaxy Digital joining in alongside One Medical founder Tom Lee and Flatiron Health CEO Nat Turner. In total, the company’s raised $36 million from investors.

Parsley Health’s approach of offering care for a monthly fee is similar to direct primary care, a small but fast-growing movement of pediatricians, family-medicine physicians, and internists. This group doesn’t accept insurance, and instead charges a monthly membership fee that covers most of what the average patient needs, including longer visits and some prescription drugs at lower prices.

It’s concierge medicine, an alternate method of paying for treatment than the usual insurance game. My previous GP moved to it when he found himself uncomfortable with the level of autonomy he would lose to choose treatments when he looked into hooking up with one of the hospital-linked groups that the insurance companies he dealt with wanted him in. Often enough the doctor finds he can deliver medical care at a cheaper cost because he and his staff do not have to spend hours on the phone arguing with insurance companies, nor wait months for the insurers to get around to paying for services rendered. And he doesn’t have to play silly games shoehorning a patient’s symptoms into the permitted diagnoses in order to get the patient necessary treatment or give up prescribing a necessary treatment because it is not on the approved list.

Israeli Scientists: Cure for Insulin-Dependent Diabtics within 5 years
[Jerusalem Post HEALTH & SCIENCE] A team of Jerusalem-based researchers and entrepreneurs claim they have a cure for diabetes that could hit the market as early as within the next few years.

Betalin Therapeutics has developed the first bio-artificial pancreas, composed of pig’s lung tissue and insulin secreting cells. The artificial pancreas would be implanted into the patient and connect with his or her blood vessels, and then be able to measure the body’s sugar level and secrete an optimal amount of insulin needed to balance blood sugar.

"This is a new way to treat diabetes," said CEO Dr. Nikolai Kunicher. "Today, you only have ways to manage the disease. This is a cure. The diabetic pancreas has lost the function of secreting insulin and we give it back. The patient should never have to inject insulin into his body again."

Iranian oil tanker 'is hit by two MISSILES' in 'terrorist' attack off of Saudi Arabia that caused explosion and heavy damage
[MAIL] An Iranian oil tanker has been hit by two explosions off the coast of Saudi Arabia.

The National Iran Oil Company said a supertanker called Sabiti was struck by two missiles around 60 miles from the port of Jeddah on Friday morning.

The explosions badly damaged two tanks on board the vessel, causing it to leak into the Red Sea.

'Experts believe it was a terrorist attack,' a source told Iranian news agency ISNA.

The Nour news agency, which is close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, said the crew was safe and had stopped the leak.

The state-owned National Iranian Tanker Company said that contrary to reports, 'there is no fire aboard the ship and the ship is completely stable'.

Tensions have been high between regional foes Iran and Saudi Arabia since an attack on the Kingdom's two oil facilities on September 14 that caused fires and damage and shutting down 5.7 million barrels per day (bpd) of production - more than 5 per cent of global oil supply.

The ministry’s SHANA news agency said no ship nor any authority in the area responded to its distress messages.

Mass inspections find 36 cracked wing supports on Boeing planes
[The Hill] An inspection of nearly 700 older Boeing 737 NGs found cracks in the wing supports of 36 planes, according to USA Today.

The figure represents about 5 percent of 686 planes checked for cracks in following an order by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Southwest Airlines will have to take two planes out of service for repairs following the inspection, while Brazil’s Gol Linhas Aereas was far harder hit and forced to ground 11 planes, according to Reuters.

The cracks, if not addressed, could "adversely affect the structural integrity of the airplane and result in loss of control of the airplane," the FAA said in the inspection order, which applied to only some of the most heavily flown planes.

"Boeing regrets the impact this issue is having on GOL, as well as our 737 NG customers worldwide," the company said in a statement, according to USA Today.

"We are actively working with our customers with inspection findings to procure parts, develop repair and replace plans, and provide all the technical support needed to safely return every impacted airplane to service as soon as possible," Boeing added.

The NG, or Next Generation, was an earlier version of the more commonly used 737. Southwest has a fleet of about 700 NGs, while American Airlines has 304 and Delta Air Lines has 200, according to USA Today.

The discovery is another setback for Boeing amid efforts to get its 737 MAX model back in the air after it was grounded following two recent crashes that collectively killed 350 people. A union representing Southwest pilots sued the company earlier in October, seeking to hold the company responsible for lost wages due to the grounded MAX.

VDH - Is America Entering a Dark Age?
[PJ] Many of the stories about the gods and heroes of Greek mythology were compiled during Greek Dark Ages. Impoverished tribes passed down oral traditions that originated after the fall of the lost palatial civilizations of the Mycenaean Greeks.

Dark Age Greeks tried to make sense of the massive ruins of their forgotten forbearers' monumental palaces that were still standing around. As illiterates, they were curious about occasional clay tablets they plowed up in their fields with incomprehensible ancient Linear B inscriptions.

We of the 21st century are beginning to look back at our own lost epic times and wonder about these now-nameless giants who left behind monuments that we cannot replicate, but instead merely use or even mock.

Does anyone believe that contemporary Americans could build another transcontinental railroad in six years?

Californians tried to build a high-speed rail line. But after more than a decade of government incompetence, lawsuits, cost overruns and constant bureaucratic squabbling, they have all but given up. The result is a half-built overpass over the skyline of Fresno -- and not yet a foot of track laid.

Who were those giants of the 1960s responsible for building our interstate highway system?

California's roads now are mostly the same as we inherited them, although the state population has tripled. We have added little to our freeway network, either because we forgot how to build good roads or would prefer to spend the money on redistributive entitlements.

When California had to replace a quarter section of the earthquake-damaged San Francisco Bay Bridge, it turned into a near-disaster, with 11 years of acrimony, fighting, cost overruns -- and a commentary on our decline into Dark Ages primitivism. Yet 82 years ago, our ancestors built four times the length of our singe replacement span in less than four years. It took them just two years to design the entire Bay Bridge and award the contracts.

Our generation required five years just to plan to replace a single section. In inflation-adjusted dollars, we spent six times the money on one quarter of the length of the bridge and required 13 agencies to grant approval. In 1936, just one agency oversaw the entire bridge project.

#3  Does anyone believe that contemporary Americans could build another transcontinental railroad in six years?

It took 410 days, which is one year and 45 days to build the Empire State Building. That was over 200,000 hours of labor, during the course of roughly 14 months, to build what was the tallest building at that time.

How long did it take to build the Interstate highway system? (One answer is that it is still being built.) The initial construction of the Interstate, as proposed in 1956, was completed in September of 1991 and at the time had a total length of approximately 40,000 miles. Actual Cost to build the Interstate Highway System was $114 Billion over 35 years ago, and $500 billion in 2008 dollars.

Too many regulations, too much internecine fighting in Congress, too much Banana Republic stuff going on and too many lawyers and lawsuits.

That aside, 500 miles of border wall is scheduled to be complete by 2020.

#6  OK. I have a confession to make. I voted for the California bullet train. I like trains, I don't like traffic jams and I don't like spending money on cars. Civilized countries have functional rail systems. I've been to Japan and seen theirs and it is wonderful. So I voted for the train. But here's the thing: In another era, we would have been able to build it just like we built the dams and canals and bridges and it would have been successful. These days all we can do is build carpool lanes and bike lanes while people trying to get to and from work sit in traffic jams. We have a few regional commuter trains but now some of the stations have become homeless encampments. We can't even figure out what to do with the homeless freaks who pee and poop on our sidewalks. The pathetic little trolley trains in San Diego run late more often than not and they stink like pee because homeless people ride for free. Nice people don't even consider commuting to work on it. I used to think this state was going down the tubes but now it's too late. We've already gone. We can't do squat anymore.

#7  It took 16 months to build The Pentagon for 1B$ in 2018 funds. Prior to construction start on 11Sep1941 (60 years to the day before 9/11), planning was completed and contracted out in six weeks following Congressional approval.

Gen Groves supervised the project. His next command was the Manhattan project. In the course of three years, he supervised the construction of the towns of Hanford, WA; Oak Ridge, TN; and Los Alamos, NM, along with numerous scientific laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and power stations and other infrastructure.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Sen. Tom Cotton Unloads On Intel Community Inspector General: ‘Evasive,' ‘Insolent,' And ‘Obstructive'
[The Federalist] Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., unloaded on the inspector general at the center of the anti-Trump whistleblower kerfuffle, calling him "insolent" and "obstructive" in a scathing letter released on Wednesday afternoon.

Michael Atkinson, the Intelligence Community Inspector General, or ICIG, is under fire for secretly eliminating a requirement that whistleblowers provide first-hand information to support allegations of wrongdoing. The ICIG admitted that it secretly changed its rules and forms in response to an error-ridden complaint filed against President Donald Trump that consisted entirely of gossip, rumor, and second-hand information.

"Your disappointing testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee on September 26 was evasive to the point of being insolent and obstructive," Cotton, a Republican member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), wrote on Wednesday.

Cotton said Atkinson refused to disclose to SSCI members why Atkinson initially determined the anti-Trump complainant had a partisan political bias against Trump.

"Despite repeated questions, you refused to explain what you meant in your written report by ’indicia of an arguable political bias on the part of a rival political candidate,'" Cotton wrote. "This information is, of course, unclassified and we were meeting in a closed setting. Yet you moralized about how you were duty bound not to share even a hint of this political bias with us."

"But now I see media reports that you revealed to the House Intelligence Committee not only that the complainant is a registered Democrat, but also that he has a professional relationship with a Democratic presidential campaign," Cotton continued. "I’m dissatisfied, to put it mildly, with your refusal to answer my questions, while more fully briefing the three-ring circus that the House Intelligence Committee has become."

Cotton demanded that Atkinson disclose the exact nature and examples of the anti-Trump complainant’s partisan political bias against the president, and to disclose whether Atkinson or his staff communicated to anyone at CNN that the sole basis for the political bias finding against the complainant was a Democratic voter registration. Ahead of Atkinson’s testimony in the House, CNN’s Jake Tapper falsely asserted, citing a "source familiar with the investigation prompted by the whistleblower," that the complainant’s voter registration was the sole evidence of the complainant’s political bias.

"Did you or anyone subject to your control or influence share with CNN that the ’arguable political bias’ was merely that the complainant is a registered Democrat?" Cotton asked. He also directed Atkinson to disclose the anti-Trump Democratic presidential candidate with whom the complainant had a professional relationship.

"This information is also simple, unclassified, and personally known to you," Cotton wrote. "Therefore please reply in writing no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11."

"I look forward to your answers, even two weeks late," Cotton concluded.

You can read the entirety of Cotton’s letter here.

I wrote to my CongressCritters for many years to express my views as a citizen. At some point I began to think that a frustrating experience and time waster. The conclusion was that there was a whole lot of criminality going on in D.C. that couldn't be impacted by letter writing.

#5  No one likes the honest man
Because he's a good man, He wants to do it honestly and win by the book, what Trump didn't have when he arrived, was an Aggrandizement Management Plan. Every successful dictator and even some democratic regimes that wish to stay in power have one these days. Of course, theirs is the sole reason they are in politics, but a 'Philosopher King' could use such a plan to make a deepState dig its own grave.

Divide and Conquer
It involves clear division and delegation of promised proceeds from coming gravy trains and tax-payer funded snafus. The highest echelons are directly appointed and play on for pure power and legacy but the mid-level administratives will not be denied their corruption. It's best to create a working relationship with them, demarcate what they can do and and what they will absolutely not touch. If a reasonable deal was made with the deepState loyalists promising them continued tinkling coffers with protection, albeit not at the previous averages - I'm sure they would have rallied around this President too.

Further they are all in it for individual gains alone. I'm sure every one of them loathes the crazies, those in it not for just money but true ideologues and insurgents. The deepState flunkies could be effectively bribed into switching loyalties, turning on the ideologues.

Purge and reset
Once the law and intelligence apparatus was consolidated under the executive by deal and directive, the purging and silencing of ill-chosen representatives and their delinquent electorates could begin. After that it wouldn't matter if the intelligence, security and law apparatus was indulgent. They could be purged too. I'm talking visits in the night and phone and internet outages in blue states, mayors congressmen and senators jailed for corruption, perp-walked on TV.

Egypt security forces foil suicide bombing in North Sinai
[AlAhram] Egypt's security forces foiled on Thursday a suicide kaboom in North Sinai's El-Arish, the Egyptian interior ministry said in a statement.

Security forces managed to shoot down a jacket wallah at one of the security check points in El-Arish city before he could detonate an explosive vest.

Egypt has been battling Islamist bully boyz in North Sinai for several years. Terrorist attacks have mostly targeted security forces, particularly at military and police checkpoints.

Over 60,000 displaced in Turkish assault on Syria — monitor
[IsraelTimes] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
’s Erdogan claims 109 Syrian Kurdish fighters killed in offensive, though reports don’t indicate anything close to that number of casualties.

Turkey’s military offensive on northeastern Syria has displaced more than 60,000 people in less than a day, a war monitor said Thursday.

"Since Wednesday, more than 60,000 people fled border areas," the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, adding that most of the displaced traveled east toward the city of Hasakeh.

Rami Abdel Rahman, the head of the Britannia-based monitor, said the biggest displacement was from the border areas of Ras al-Ain, Tal Abyad and Derbasiyeh.

The Ottoman Turkish military, supported by Syrian proxies, launched an offensive against Kurdish-controlled areas in northeastern Syria on Wednesday, despite widespread international warnings.

After an initial phase of air strikes and artillery fire, troops moved across the border and attacked some of the key towns in the area.

A Kurdish-led group and Syrian activists said that despite the bombardment, Ottoman Turkish troops had not made much progress on several fronts they had opened. But their claims could not be independently verified, and the situation was difficult to assess.

Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
said that so far, 109 "terrorists" were killed in the offensive, a reference to the Syrian Kurdish fighters. He did not elaborate, and reports from the area did not indicate anything remotely close to such a large number of casualties.

Ankara aims to create a buffer about 30 kilometers deep in Syria territory in which to send back some of the 3.6 million Syrians who found refuge on Ottoman Turkish soil since the start of the war in Syria in 2011.

Humanitarian organizations warned that this latest episode in the deadly eight-year-old conflict could once again have disastrous consequences on civilian populations.

"An estimated 450,000 people live within five kilometers of the Syria-Turkey border and are at risk if all sides do not exercise maximum restraint and prioritize the protection of civilians," a joint statement said.

The text signed by 14 humanitarian organizations warned thon the lam numbers of civilians could soon be cut off from the vital aid they had been receiving.

"The life-saving humanitarian response will be threatened if instability forces aid agencies to suspend or relocate their programming and staff, as is already happening," said the statement.

Among the organizations that signed the appeal were several of the largest aid providers in the area, including the Norwegian Refugee Council and Mercy Corps.

In a separate statement, the Save The Children charity warned of "an impending humanitarian disaster."

It emphasized the risks facing the children among the latest wave of displacement, which includes thousands of people who had already been uprooted multiple times since the start of the war.

"With winter around the corner, they will face additional challenges as they search for shelter," Save The Children said.

Europe
Halle synagogue shooter brought to federal court, faces murder charges
Day 3. Yesterday’s report can be seen here.
[IsraelTimes] Security official says Stephan Balliet was caught 90 minutes after assault started, having maimed two others in another town.

The suspect in an attack on a German synagogue was brought before a judge at the Federal Supreme Court in the city of Karlsruhe on Thursday, ahead of expected murder charges against him.

Suspect Stephan Balliet was seen being taken from a helicopter to a vehicle under heavy guard on Thursday afternoon. He had a bandage on his neck, apparently covering a gunshot wound after he was shot by police during his arrest, and appeared to be restrained at the waist and feet.

The alleged shooter faces two counts of murder and nine counts of attempted murder for what prosecutors have described as a far-right "terror attack."

A judge placed him under arrest in pre-trial custody.

"What we experienced yesterday was terror," said Peter Frank, the chief federal prosecutor. "The suspect, Stephan B., aimed to carry out a massacre in the synagogue in Halle."

The assailant on Wednesday tried but failed to force his way into the synagogue on Yom Kippur as around 80 people were inside.

He then shot and killed a woman in the street outside and a man at a nearby kebab shop.

A German security official said the suspect was caught about 90 minutes after his assault started as he abandoned a stolen taxi following an accident involving a truck.

Holger Stahlknecht, the interior minister of Saxony-Anhalt state, said the suspect managed to drive out of Halle after killing two people and following an exchange of shots with police that left him with a neck wound.

He abandoned his car in a small nearby town, where he shot and maimed two other people. He continued southward in a stolen taxi, and was arrested as he left that vehicle following the accident. Police also seized a webcam in the car that he had used to film his attack.

Stahlknecht said the suspect wasn’t on authorities’ radar before Wednesday.

He said police arrived at the synagogue seven minutes after they were alerted to the shooting, but acknowledged that in such a situation "seven minutes feel like seven weeks."

Frank said that the suspect had around four kilograms (nearly nine pounds) of explosives in his car.

He said his weapons were "apparently homemade" and the explosives in the car were built into "numerous devices."

Frank said Sherlocks "face a lot of questions," among them how the suspect became radicalized, how he acquired weapons and explosives or obtained materials to build them, and whether anyone else encouraged him or knew about his plan.

The suspect, who livestreamed the attack on a popular gaming site while ranting in English about Jews and posted a "manifesto" online before embarking on it, "wanted to create a worldwide effect" and encourage others to imitate him, the prosecutor added.

Investigators have yet to determine how the suspect was radicalized, how he decided to carry out the attack, how he got hold of the material to build weapons and explosives, whether he had supporters or whether anyone else encouraged him or knew about his plan, he said. Prosecutors will have to sift through his communications and his activities on the darknet, a part of the internet hidden from public view.

Officials didn’t give details of the victims, who were killed outside the synagogue and in a nearby kebab shop.

Synagogues are often protected by police in Germany and have been for many years amid concerns over far-right and Islamic extremism. There has been rising concern lately about both anti-Semitism and right-wing extremism in the country.

Germany’s domestic intelligence agency says the number of anti-Semitic acts of violence rose to 48 last year from 21 the previous year. It also said the number of far-right Death Eaters rose by 100 to 24,100 people last year, with more than half of them considered potentially violent.

#1  First time in how long a non Islamic terror attack? My guess, we are going to hear about it endlessly. And all the anti-immigration people in Europe will be compared to Stephan Balliet. Except by neo-Nazis (who are, actually, allied to Muzzies - birds of the feather) who will point out that he didn't actually kill any Jews. And therefore, this must be a Zionist plot.

#2  I ask only for my personal illumination. Are there really ... Zionists ?

Not the sweet old, Temple Mount fuddy duddies and their video blogs. Actual conniving, murdering, plotters trying to bring about the razing of the 'abomination that maketh desolate' and trying to set up a stronger, unified Israeli state, without arabs or legalistic westerners mucking about. One nation.

We've seen the Javotinsky brand of military centrism which diluted into liberal ideologies and then the Likud. Then there are the several crazies like me in christianity with our own maniacal eschatological vision for Israel. I think we can safely assume that sensible nation states realize the value of powerless arabs and a stronger Israel, or the symbolic worth of islamist indigent masses barely surviving beside a flourishing non-islamic ally.

But are there actually people investing and plotting to bring that about ? I don't need info, just a yes or no shall suffice.

Well are there ?

Australian Jewish boy forced to kiss Muslim classmate’s shoes gets threats
[IsraelTimes] Reports say 12-year-old boy warned he’ll be slaughtered and asked if he wants to ’talk about suicide.

A Jewish boy who was forced to kneel and kiss the shoes of a Moslem classmate has been sent threatening text messages.

The messages were sent Friday after a photo of the incident were splashed across the front pages of newspapers in Australia and around the world, the Daily Mail reported. The photo was first published by the Australian Jewish News.

The messages told the 12-year-old boy that he would be slaughtered and asked if he wanted to "talk about suicide," according to the report.

Victoria Police confirmed to the Daily Mail Australia that they were investigating a report of such text messages but would not comment further.

Dvir Abramovich, chairman of B’nai B’rith’s Anti-Defamation Commission, called the threats "vile and deplorable." He said the boy’s parents now want a broader inquiry into anti-Semitism in schools.

Abramovich has helped the family to relocate the boy from Cheltenham Secondary College in suburban Melbourne to a Jewish school.

The incident did not take place on the school’s campus. Reports said a group of older students threatened the boy with violence if he did not comply.

#2  This is why I advocate the disempowerment and active oppression of muslims. They don't deserve rights. While a person of any religion or persuasion can live peaceably with others, a muslim cannot. You show kindness to a few of them, another few shall come and defraud/harass/stab you. They teach their sons that it's good to bully others and works for the good of their entire society.

Bear with a measly number of them for a decade or two and your own citizens are fucked. Fucked. States that allow muslims equal rights are fools.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Not just in Amerika
[Jerusalem Post] Sources in the conference room in which the prime minister's hearing was held told Maariv, the sister publication of The Jerusalem Post, that it seems as though the American lawyers succeeded in making an impression as an auxiliary force to deny the connection in Case 4000 between the positive coverage of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family and bribery.
Bibi was accused of receiving positive coverage in the press as a bribe - think on it.
The sources also noted that the intensity of the focus on Case 2000, referring to talks between Netanyahu and Yedioth Aharonot publisher Arnon Moses, was weakened to the point in which the case may be cut off entirely with no indictment filed against him.
Obviously it is a crime when a member of the criminal class - right wing PM, talks to a newspaper publisher.
Attorney Liat Ben Ari and Attorney-General Shai Nitzan insist on the bribery clause in Case 4000, while Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit believes a lighter clause, such as a breach of trust, may be satisfactory.
As long as we bring him down
The sources additionally claim that in Case 1000, Netanyahu's attorneys seemed to have succeeded in minimizing his part in the case and to show that some of the gifts referred to in the case were not given to him knowingly, but rather were received by others surrounding him, including his wife Sara and son Yair. It therein seems as though Netanyahu's attorneys may reduce the cumulative gift value attributed to Netanyahu.
Unlike Obama he won't be buying a 15 million beach property - not even 15 million NIS property.
Mandelblit was absent during the third day of the hearing, which discussed Case 2000 and completed some parts of Case 4000, because he had to attend a national security cabinet meeting on the Iranian threat.

The attorney-general is a regular invitee to cabinet meetings.

One of the questions that came up was whether the date set for the cabinet meeting, a five-hour meeting, which was summoned at short notice and coincided with the hearing, was completely coincidental.
Now Bibi conspires with Iranians
The person noticeably missing from the hearings in Cases 1000 and 2000 was the attorney accompanying the cases, Deputy State Attorney Liat Ben Ari, because of a family vacation that was scheduled well in advance.
Of course she's dedicated to bringing the deplorables choice down - but not at the expense of her family's quality time.

Soldier martyred in Indian ceasefire violation: ISPR
[DAWN] A Pakistain Army soldier was martyred as the Indian army resorted to ceasefire violations from across the restive Line of Control (LoC), the military's media wing said on Thursday.

The firing also left one civilian dead and 14 others injured, officials said.

"Indian Army troops resorted to ceasefires violation in Baroh and Chirikot sector along [the] LoC. [As a result] Sepoy Naimat Wali embraced martyrdom," the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
"Well, not exactly 'embraced'. He kinda grimaced and said 'oh shit!'. But martyrdom embraced him"
Chirikot sector is located in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
’s (AJK) Haveli district.

In response, the ISPR said, Pakistain Army troops targeted Indian posts, damaging them "substantially". There were reports of casualties of Indian troops, the statement added.

It was believed that the soldier was martyred on Wednesday evening, when two civilians ‐ 50-year-old Perveen Akhtar and her 15-year-old daughter Saba Tariq ‐ were also injured in Seerhiyan village of Chirikot sector.

On Thursday, Neza Pir sector of Haveli district came under heavy Indian shelling from 3pm to 6pm, and resultantly two women ‐ Naseeb Jan, 40, and Robina Bibi, 16 ‐ were maimed in Chahjal Bala and Kairni villages, respectively, police official Khalid Mahmood told Dawn from the area.

Also on Thursday, the Indian army resorted to "unprovoked" shelling in Neelum district after sunset, which left an 8-year-old boy, Faizan Mir, dead and his parents, Fayaz Mir and Zahida Bibi, injured in Changan Seri village, said Akhtar Ayub, a disaster management officer based in district headquarters Athmuqam. He added that the family's house was burnt to ashes.

Another six people were maimed in main Changan village along Neelum valley road.

Russian women inmates ‘confess’ to lady warden’s killing
[DAWN] Three Russian women inmates of the Central Jail Gadani have confessed to their involvement in Tuesday’s killing of a young lady warden, according to police Sherlocks.

However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
they said, during the initial investigation the prisoners had not divulged the motive behind the killing.

Twenty-three-year-old Zoya Yahya was strangled to death in the women’s cell of Central Jail Gadani where she was posted on Tuesday night.

The role of the Russian trio in the shocking incident, the Sherlocks say, was revealed by two other women prisoners.

About the conduct of the Russian inmates in the prison, Gadani Jail Superintendent Shakeel Baloch told Dawn that they had never demonstrated any violent behaviour before this incident. "Their attitude with other prisoners and jail staff was quite normal."

"The reason which made them furious prompting them to kill our lady warden has not been ascertained yet," he said. "Police have registered an FIR and are interrogating the three suspects."

According to the hospital where Zoya Yahya’s body was examined, she was hit in the head and later strangled.

The superintendent said the suspects, alongwith other Russian female prisoners, were shifted from Quetta District Jail to Gadani a few months ago.

Presently, he said, 13 Russian inmates ‐ 11 women and two men ‐ have been lodged in the Gadani prison. "They include four youngsters between the age of 10 and 16 and two children," Mr Shakeel said.

According to him, the Russians had been arrested by the FIA from the Chagai area earlier this year under the Foreign Act. They have completed their jail term and are waiting for completion of formalities for their deportation.

"They have been granted consular access and Russian diplomats from the Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...
consulate have met them. Now they are waiting for completion of formalities by their consulate," the superintendant said. "On our part, we [the local jail authorities] have already completed formalities for their deportation," he added.

"However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
now they can’t be deported as they are facing a murder trial," the prison head said, adding that the Russian consulate in Karachi had been informed about the incident and involvement of the three suspects from their country in it.

[THEBAGHDADPOST] Five people were killed and seven maimed on Thursday in a gunfire and kaboom by the ISIS

hard boyz in the eastern Iraqi province of Diyala, a security source said.

The attack was carried out by the bully boy ISIS hard boyz in the early hours of the day when an IS sniper rubbed out two brothers and their cousin and maimed four of their relatives in a village in the town of Khanaqin, some 165 km northeast of Iraq's capital Baghdad, Alaa al-Saadi from Diyala's police command told The Baghdad Post.

After Iraqi security forces rushed to the scene, a roadside kaboom went kaboom! near one of their vehicles, destroying the vehicle while killing two coppers and wounding three others, al-Saadi said.

Despite repeated military operations in Diyala, IS remnants are still hiding in rugged areas near the border with Iran

Suspected IS radical stabs Indonesian security minister
[DAWN] A suspected IS radical stabbed Indonesia's chief security minister Wiranto as he was stepping out of a vehicle on Thursday, leaving two deep wounds in his stomach and injuring three others in the attack, officials said.

Television images showed security officers wrestling a man and a woman to the ground outside a university in Pandeglang on Java island after the attack on the 72-year-old, who like many Indonesians goes by one name.

"Someone approached and attacked him," National Police front man Dedi Prasetyo, adding that the couple had been arrested.

Berkah Hospital front man Firmansyah said the former military general suffered "two deep wounds" in his stomach and may need surgery, but was conscious and in stable, pH balanced condition.

Wiranto was later rushed by helicopter to the capital Jakarta.

The other three victims ‐ a local police chief and two aides ‐ had non-life threatening injuries, the hospital said.

The suspects were identified as 31-year-old Syahril Alamsyah and Fitri Andriana, 21. Police said Alamsyah had been "exposed to ISIS
...embracing their inner Islamic Brute...
radicalism", without elaborating.

It was not immediately clear if either were members of one of the dozens of radical groups that have pledged loyalty to the Death Eater Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. (IS) group in Indonesia, the world's biggest Moslem majority nation.

The attack comes just over a week before President Joko Widodo kicks off a second term after his April re-election.

In May, police said Wiranto and three other brass hats were targeted in a failed liquidation plot linked to deadly riots in Jakarta after Widodo's victory.

A group of six people ‐ arrested before they could carry out the killings ‐ planned to murder the officials and an election pollster in a bid to plunge the country into chaos, police said at the time.

Wiranto, the former chief of the armed forces and a failed presidential candidate, is a major figure in Indonesian politics. He has long been accused of human-rights violations and for crimes against humanity linked to violence following East Timor's 1999 independence referendum.

unleashed a verbal attack against the Saudi and Egyptian governments on Thursday after the latter two states criticized Ankara’s new military incursion in Syria.

"Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
has to look in the mirror before it criticizes the grinding of the peace processor," Erdogan said in a speech during an expanded meeting of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), as quoted by the Anatolia news agency .

"Who brought Yemen

to this situation, except Saudi Arabia, and the Egyptian president in particular, has no right to speak at all, he is a killer of democracy in his country," Erdogan continued.

"I will remind them of the names, and invite them to be honest. I will start from Saudi Arabia, and say you have to look in the mirror, who brought Yemen to this situation? How is the situation in Yemen now? Did thousands of people not die in Yemen? You have to first calculate that," he said to the audience.

"Yemen is currently suffering from extreme poverty. You have destroyed every place. You have to calculate that first. You cannot interfere with us about the operation we launched in Syria to fight terrorism and preserve the territorial integrity of Syria," he concluded about Saudi Arabia.

"As for the president of the Egyptian regime. Don’t ever speak about us! You are a murderer of democracy in your country. You are a murderer!"

"It was said that Sisi met with one of them and denounced the process of the spring of peace. Our love for the Syrian people is not debatable," he continued.

US senators move to punish Turkey with 'sanctions from hell' over Syria offensive
[PRESSTV] American senators are preparing a bill that would punish The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
with "sanctions from hell" over its decision to mount an invasion against America’s Kurdish allies in northern Syria.

Turkey on Wednesday began pounding positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) with jets and artillery and sent in troops to purge them from the area east of Eauphrates.

The offensive came three days after US President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
in a sudden change of policy told his counterpart His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. that he would pull US troops from the region, effectively exposing the Kurdish snuffies to their archenemy, Turkey.

Shortly after the attack began, a bipartisan group of senators brought legislation that would freeze all assets Erdogan and other Ottoman Turkish leaders have in the US and impose visa restrictions until Ankara withdraws from Syria.

It would also slap sanctions on entities that do business with Turkey's military or support its domestic energy industry for use by its armed forces.

Rana Sana’s counsel says video record belies prosecution claims
[DAWN] The counsel for former law minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Wednesday claimed before a Special Court for Control of Narcotics Substance (CNS) that the video record retrieved from the Punjab
1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard
2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots....

Safe City Authority (PSCA) destroyed the whole story of prosecution narrated in the FIR.

Rana Sana was present in court when an official of the authority submitted a compact disc containing the video record of his vehicle.

Senior defence counsel Azam Nazir Tarar told the court that their anxiety stood vanished as the video record was now preserved with the PSCA.

Referring to the facts of the record, he said the video rejected the claim of the prosecution about alleged recovery of heroin from the suspect and weighing it on the spot and scuffle between the private guards of the suspect and the ANF personnel before the arrest.

He said as per the FIR, the vehicle of Rana Sana was stopped by the personnel at Ravi Toll Plaza at 3:25pm. Whereas, he said, the record extracted from the cameras of the PSCA showed the vehicle passing through Doctor’s Hospital on Canal Road, over 14.5km away from the place of arrest, at 3:35pm.

Advocate Tarar claimed that the whole episode narrated by the prosecution in the FIR was not humanly possible to be happened within 10 minutes only. He said it was no more a case of indictment but acquittal. Even otherwise, he said, a duty judge could not frame charges in a case.

However,
there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened...
ANF prosecutor Kashif Javed said if a duty judge could hold trial proceedings, there was no bar to framing charges on suspects. He said the proceedings were being hijacked by the defence and the prosecution was being declared false on the basis of two or three minute’s distance.

The defence counsel quickly responded and said the case was not of a trivial nature but involved an elected representative of the people.

The prosecutor also questioned the PSCA’s policy to keep the video record relating to the suspect protected beyond its conventional limit of 30 days. He asked the court to summon the official concerned of the authority for the testimony.

O’Rourke Failing to Meet Polling Threshold for November Debate
[BREITBART] Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke;
...Kennedyeque businessman, musician, skateboard artiste, and politician who represented Texas' 16th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019. Beto is a Latino nickname for people whose names end in "erto," like "Roberto" or "Alberto." He is seeking the Dem nomination for President in 2020 because he has nice hair and lots of teeth. He was born into a local political family in El Paso, Texas and is a graduate of a prep school and Columbia University, which is not in Texas. In 2005, he was elected to the El Paso City Council. He was elected to Congress in 2012 after defeating eight-term incumbent Silvestre Reyes in the Democratic primary. He declined to seek re-election in 2018, instead running for the Senate against Republican Ted Cruz, running a campaign that drew national attention because of his skateboarding skills. A few months after he lost, he announced his campaign for President...
has not met the polling threshold for the MSNBC/Washington Post debate in November.

The Democrat National Committee has required that candidates hit at least three percent support on four qualifying state or national polls, or five percent in two qualifying state polls.

NBC News revealed that O’Rourke had not yet reached the polling requirement to participate in the MSNBC debate, as well as former Housing Secretary Julián Castro, and Sen. Amy Klobuchar
Senatrix from Minnesota, candidate for the Dem presidential 2020 nomination. You can tell the kind of husband a boy will make by the way he treats his mother. You can tell the kind of leader a politician will make by the way he treats his staff. Klobuchar is reportedly overbearing, snide, and dictatorial with her people. She see this as merely getting the best from them. Her name spelled backward in the Russian alphabet would be "Rachubolk," which sounds pretty daggone suspicious...
of Minnesota.

Recent polls show O’Rourke still struggling.

A Quinnipiac poll released Tuesday showed that he was at one percent nationally with a Real Clear Politics average of two percent. Other national polls, such as the Politico/Morning Consult poll and the Economist/YouGov poll show him clearing three percent.

O’Rourke still has time to make a splash in next week’s Democrat debate hosted by CNN in Las Vegas.

In September, O’Rourke earned headlines and attention for promising to take away gun owner’s AR-15s and AK-47s, but it failed to move him to the top tier of the Democrat field.

O’Rourke also faces questions about his fundraising. While his fellow candidates have boasted big fundraising numbers for the third quarter, O’Rourke has not.

"I just don’t want to," he said on Saturday:

Turkish troops and Syrian rebels encircle two SDF-held towns
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Ottoman Turkish troops and allied Syrian rebels have now encircled two border towns in northeast Syria held by Kurdish forces after a ground offensive that seized several villages around them, a front man for the rebels said on Thursday.

Major Youssef Hamoud said the two towns of Ras al-Ain and Tel Abyad were now encircled after the Ottoman Turkish army aided by fighters of the Syrian opposition group known as the National Army seized several villages around them.

The two towns where Arab tribes are the majority of its inhabitants are a main goal of the Ottoman Turkish military campaign to oust Kurdish-led fighters who control its area and where Ankara says it wants to set up a so-called safe zone.

Turkish strikes reportedly hit civilian convoy in Syria

[IsraelTimes] A Kurdish news agency and a war monitor say Turkish troops have bombarded a convoy of vehicles taking residents of the northern city of Raqqa to a border town, inflicting casualties among them.

The Kurdish Hawar news agency says the attack on the road leading to the border town of Tal Abyad killed three people and wounded several others.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the Turkish airstrike occurred when a convoy carrying a tribal leader reached the entrance of Tal Abyad. It says several people were wounded but that no one was killed.

Turkey says 174 ‘terrorists’ killed in Syria offensive

Turkey’s Defense Ministry says 174 “terrorists” have been “neutralized” in its cross-border military offensive, referring to Syrian Kurdish fighters.

The ministry tweets that the number includes 19 alleged fighters killed in an airstrike on a shelter used by the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units, or YPG, in Ras al-Ayn.

The numbers could not be independently verified

Two Giuliani Associates Who Helped Him on Ukraine Charged With Campaign-Finance Violations
[WSJ] Two Soviet-born donors to a pro- Trump fundraising committee who helped Rudy Giuliani’s efforts to investigate Democrat Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant...
were arrested late Wednesday on criminal charges stemming from their alleged efforts to funnel foreign money into U.S. elections and influence U.S. politics on behalf of at least one Ukrainian politician.

Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, two Florida businessmen, made a brief appearance in federal court in Virginia Thursday, dressed in T-shirts. Both men are U.S. citizens born in former Soviet republics. They were arrested at Dulles Airport on Wednesday while awaiting an international flight with one-way tickets, according to people familiar with the matter, a day before one of them was scheduled to testify before House committees.

Mr. Giuliani said Thursday that Messrs. Parnas and Fruman were headed to Vienna, Austria, on Wednesday evening for reasons related to their business. He declined to elaborate on those reasons. He said the two men had also left the country about two weeks ago and had traveled to Vienna between three and six times in the last two months. He said he had been scheduled to meet with the two when they returned to Washington within days.

A federal prosecutor told a judge the government remains concerned that the men will flee. Attorneys on both sides said they would reach an agreement about the conditions of their bail and would return to the judge later Thursday or Friday.

In a 21-page indictment unsealed Thursday, federal prosecutors in Manhattan alleged Messrs. Parnas and Fruman were engaged in political activities in the U.S. on behalf of one or more Ukrainian government officials‐including a lobbying campaign, targeted at a Republican congressman, to remove the U.S. ambassador in Kyiv. President Trump ordered the ambassador, Marie Yovanovitch, removed from her post in May, the Journal has reported.

Their political giving‐aimed at Republicans‐was funded in part by an unnamed Russian donor, the indictment alleges. Federal law bans foreigners from contributing to U.S. elections. A limited liability company created by the men was used to disguise the source of some of the money, the indictment says.

Condemnations pour in as Turkey continues Syria military operation, but not UNSC
[PRESSTV] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

's military operation against Kurdish forces of Evil in northeast Syria has sparked a wave of condemnations from across the world, with the UN Security Council and Arab League
...an organization of Arabic-speaking states with 22 member countries and four observers. The League tries to achieve Arab consensus on issues, which usually leaves them doing nothing but a bit of grimacing and mustache cursing...
set to hold emergency meetings.

In a post on its Twitter account early Thursday, the Ottoman Turkish Defense Ministry said the troops participating in Operation Peace Spring were advancing east of the Euphrates River following a ground offensive.

Turkey's Vice President, Fuat Oktay, also took to Twitter to stress the army's resolve to keep fighting the Kurdish forces of Evil in Syria, which Ankara views as gunnies linked to local autonomy-seeking forces of Evil of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

"Turkey, acting within the framework of its rights arising from international law and the ’right of self-defense’ set out in the UN Charter, is determined to drain the swamp of terror that threatens our borders and poses a threat to the whole world," he said.

"It is our greatest expectation that the world public opinion will have the same determination in the fight against terrorist organizations," he added.

Security Council fails to pass resolution condemning Turkish invasion of Syria

[IsraelTimes] A divided UN Security Council fails to agree on a statement following a closed meeting on Turkey’s incursion into northeast Syria.

The five European council members who called today’s meeting — there are 15 member countries — urged Turkey in a joint statement afterward “to cease the unilateral military action.” They say it threatens progress against the extremist Islamic State group by a global coalition.

The Europeans warn that “renewed armed hostilities in the northeast will further undermine the stability of the whole region, exacerbate civilian suffering and provoke further displacements.”

Russia’s UN Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia, whose country is a key Syrian ally, told reporters that any council statement on Syria must address broader issues, including the presence of foreign forces in the country.

US Ambassador Kelly Craft tells reporters that US President Donald Trump “has made abundantly clear” that the United States “has not in any way” endorsed Turkey’s decision to mount a military incursion in northeast Syria.

was on Thursday charged with a terrorism offence in a case related to his incendiary speech relayed from the United Kingdom to his followers in Pakistain on August 22, 2016.

The MQM founder, 66, was taken into police custody and later produced before the Westminster Magistrates' Court, where he was granted conditional bail.

The conditions of his bail include a bar on him to broadcast any speeches and remaining at his residence for a restricted amount of time each night. He also cannot apply for a travel document and his passport will remain in police custody.

After Hussain appeared before judge Emma Arbuthnot, the charge against him was read out. He pleaded not guilty
"Wudn't me."
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) asked for Hussain to be granted conditional bail. The conditions sought included a restriction on Hussain not to broadcast any message, either video or audio, via social media, radio, TV, or internet to people in the UK or overseas concerning this case or comment on the political situation in Pakistain.

The court then entered into a recess as the lawyers for the prosecution and Hussain discussed the bail conditions further. He was subsequently granted bail.

Turkish police investigate Kurdish leaders, fire water cannon at protesters
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Ottoman Turkish police have launched criminal investigations into Kurdish politicians and detained scores of people, accusing them of criticizing the military’s incursion into Syria on social media, state media reported.Police also fired water cannon and detained dozens of activists in the mainly Kurdish southeastern city of Diyarbakir on Thursday at a protest against the cross-border assault.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
pounded the Kurdish YPG militia in northeast Syria for a second day on Thursday, forcing tens of thousands of people to flee and killing dozens. Ankara deems the YPG a terrorist group over its links to Lions of Islam who have waged an insurgency in Turkey.

Police in riot gear fired water cannon and then detained protesters at a rally in front of the pro-Kurdish People’s Democratic Party (HDP) headquarters in Diyarbakir, the biggest city in the southeast. A HDP party official said police detained 25 members there, including its Diyarbakir provincial leader.

Earlier on Thursday, authorities began investigating HDP leaders and detained 21 people for criticising the military offensive online, state-owned Anadolu news agency said.

While most of Turkey’s opposition parties have backed the operation, the HDP has called for the offensive to stop, describing it as an "invasion attempt".

HDP co-leader Sezai Temelli said on Wednesday the operation was an attempt by the government to drum up support amid declining public backing. Prosecutors launched an investigation against him and HDP’s other co-leader, Pervin Buldan, over their remarks about the offensive, Anadolu said.

It said Temelli and Buldan were accused of "carrying out propaganda for a terrorist organization" and "openly insulting Turkey’s government". Three other HDP politicians were being investigated over similar charges, the news agency said.

The government accuses the HDP of ties to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) Death Eater group and thousands of its members have been prosecuted for the same reason, including its leaders. The HDP denies such links.

Hours after the operation started on Wednesday, authorities also launched investigations against 78 individuals who criticized the offensive on social media, Anadolu said.

Liberia shuts radio station critical of president
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Liberian police on Thursday closed a radio station critical of President George Weah, accusing it of inciting violence, and used tear gas to disperse people protesting against the move.

Roots FM, owned by Henry Costa, is one of the leaders of a group that organized a large anti-government street protest on June 17, paralyzing several areas of the seaside capital Monrovia.

Costa is a fierce critic of Weah, a former international football star who became president of the country in January last year.

Heavily armed police riot units ringed the radio station building on Thursday morning, making it impossible for workers to move in and out.

They also fired tear gas on the station’s supporters gathered outside.

Costa, who is in the United States from where he usually produces a show for his radio station in Liberia, was defiant.

"It is indeed a very sad day, but I can assure you that we will never be silenced," Costa told AFP in a telephone interview.

Liberia’s solicitor general said the station was blackmailing people and instigating violence.

"They have begun criminal acts of extortion and blackmail. They use their media to spread inflammatory messages against Liberian citizens, and engage in incitement.

"Beginning today there will be no public demonstration that is not ... sanctioned by the government of Liberia," Cyrinus Cephus told a presser.

The Press Union of Liberia last week denounced Roots FM and Freedom FM, another radio that is owned by a government official, for "always insulting people on radio.
"Roots FM Morning Zoo, live from Monrovia. Good Morning everybody!"
"That is not journalism. You cannot ask people to give you money or you talk bad about them. That is destroying the image of good journalism in Liberia. I call on the government to take action against Roots FM and Freedom FM," its president Charles Coffey said.

#1  To my knowledge NO one in Iraq is a friend of the US. Why should we CARE about what happens to the well-being of any Iraqis? Is anyone in Iran our friend? Likewise. Do they all live on the far side of boogaloo ? is the Iranian Real worth about 57,500 to a single American dollar? Are there 16m Iranians doing drugs in a population of 70m? Are the Prostitutes of 35m Iraqi women getting sore backs on the tombstones of Iraqi graveyards ? Do you like FAT girls? Does anyone want to take a Vacation in Iraq ? What does an Iraqi ( or and Iranian for that matter ) smell like? Are their noses of a spectacular size? Would you like to retire in either country? which has the greater amount of Oil, the Iraqi and Iranian countryside or the average Iraqi or Iranian when bending over? What is your favorite food in Iraq or Iran?

Do they actually hate each other ? and sincerely wish each other were dead in true Moslem fashion. What happened to Ali when he took an arrow in the eye? Is that why the shia whip themselves with a flogging of knives ? How far do you fall if you walk out on the end of an Iraqis nose and jump off?

Let Moslem love solve all their problems.

Either all countries in Persian Gulf will benefit from security or suffer its absence: Zarif
[PRESSTV] Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mohamad Javad Zarif, has highlighted the significance of maintaining security in the Persian Gulf, saying that either all countries in the region will benefit from security or all will be deprived of it.

In an article in the Kuwaiti al-Rai newspaper on Thursday, Zarif said that the security and stability of the Persian Gulf is an indispensable necessity in ensuring access to international markets. He added that regional security and stability has been maintained by the regional countries themselves for centuries.

Provision of security to the region is the prime responsibility of all regional countries and should be maintained without foreign interference, said Zarif.

He underlined the need for a "new discourse" now that the region is facing increasing threats and challenges, calling on regional countries to shoulder their responsibility to save the region which he said is "on the brink of destruction".

Ecuador’s protesters march; clashes break out in Quito
[APNEWS] Thousands of protesters staged anti-government rallies Wednesday, seeking to intensify pressure on Ecuador’s president after a week of unrest sparked by fuel price hikes.Stone-throwing demonstrators clashed with police using tear gas to fend off crowds, including around the empty government headquarters in the capital of Quito.

Demonstrators struggled to get close to the headquarters in the colonial-era Carondelet palace, sealed off by police barricades in the narrow surrounding streets.

In one chaotic scene, protesters swarmed onto the top of a riot control vehicle that stopped in an alley. They pounded on its armored plating and reinforced windows with clubs and stones until the occupants accelerated away through clouds of smoke and tear gas.

Protesters included youths who burned tires and confronted security forces, labor union members and indigenous people who mobilized and marched, for the most part peacefully.

In a separate demonstration, thousands gathered in the port city of Guayaquil to condemn days of street violence that have shocked many Ecuadorians. Some wore white clothing and carried white flags.

Ecuador’s Red Thingy said it was suspending paramedic and ambulance services because of security concerns. Red Thingy volunteers had been attacked in several locations in recent days and people threw stones at an ambulance in Quito on Monday, the aid group said.

The military earlier warned people against violence during Wednesday’s protests, following unrest that led President Lenín Moreno to move government operations from Quito to Guayaquil.

Vatican Synod on Amazon Proposes Recognition of ‘Ecological Sins’
[BREITBART] Participants in the Vatican synod on the Amazon region proposed adding "sins against the environment" to lists of traditionally recognized sins in their second day of discussions and deliberations.

Synod fathers called for an "ecological conversion" that would allow people to see "the gravity of sins against the environment as sins against God, against our neighbour, and against future generations," Vatican News reported Wednesday.

"This would imply a need to produce and spread more widely a theological literature that would include ’ecological sins’ alongside traditional sins," the report stated.

The working document of the Amazon Synod frames the entire question of the Church’s renewal in the region in terms of the environment, proposing "New Paths for the Church and for an Integral Ecology."

In order to be "ever more synodal," the Church must listen "to the peoples and to the earth by coming into contact with the abundant reality of an Amazon full of life and wisdom but also of contrasts," the text states.

"It continues with the cry that is provoked by destructive deforestation and extractivist activities and that demands an integral ecological conversion," it says.

Again and again the document directs synod members to turn their attention to the cries of the earth and to "convert."

New reports of unidentified warplanes bombing Iranian forces near Syrian-Iraqi border
[ALMASDARNEWS] Some new reports have surfaced this evening that claim unidentified warplanes targeted the Iranian forces and their allies near the Iraqi border.

According to the reports, most notably from the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the unidentified warplanes targeted the positions of the Iranian Armed Forces and their allies near an undisclosed location along the Syrian-Iraqi border.

Neither the Iranian nor the Syrian ministries of defense have confirmed these claims.

Last month, unidentified warplanes, which were believed to be Israeli drones, bombed the border city of Albukamal on two occasions.

The attacks were carried out at night and reportedly killed dozens of Iranian and Iraqi troops in and around Albukamal.

Israel has not formally declared that it was their warplanes that carried out these attacks; however, Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles had carried out similar attacks in Beirut’s southern suburbs around the same time as these strikes.

Egypt sentenced 42 people to death in September
[PRESSTV] Egypt’s government sentenced 42 people to death in September amid calls for an end to executions ordered after "unfair" trials, a report says.

The London-based al-Araby al-Jadeed newspaper reported on Wednesday that the figure was according to data provided by the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, an independent human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
organization.

The death sentence
...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead...
s were related to 13 different cases.

The sentencing papers of 21 other defendants in five cases were referred to the grand mufti, Egypt’s top Moslem religious authority, who reviews all death sentences.

The daily noted that Egyptian rights groups, including El Shehab for Human Rights, have launched a campaign, dubbed "Stop Executions in Egypt," on the occasion of the World Day Against the Death Penalty, which is observed every year on October 10.

The campaigners say their movement is against "unfair, political rulings against dissidents" as well as trials that are "based on fake evidence, enforced disappearance and torture the defendants said they were subjected to in order to extract confessions from them in crimes they did not commit."

"These death sentences were issued by illegal departments within the so-called terrorism departments and military courts that lack the minimum standards for fair trials as documented by the Egyptian Coordination for Rights and Freedoms, the international organizations and other rights groups."

The daily said Egyptian rights groups have reported a large-scale expansion in the use of death penalty
in Egypt as the frequency of death sentences issued in political and criminal cases increased in 2018.

Iraq
Iraqi PM vows to reshuffle cabinet, probe into killings
[PRESSTV] Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi has promised to reshuffle his cabinet, launch a probe into the killing of protesters, and punish those who shot the demonstrators.

"We will ask the parliament to vote tomorrow on changes to ministries," the Iraqi prime minister said in a televised speech on Wednesday.

He vowed that his government will refer the names of hundreds of corrupt officials to the judiciary for investigation.

Abdul-Mahdi also declared three days of national mourning over the deaths of at least 110 people and injuries of more than 6,000 others during the recent violent festivities between security forces and demonstrators in Baghdad and the country's south.

"We gave clear orders not to use live fire but there were still victims of shooting," he said.

Protests erupted in the Iraqi capital Baghdad last week and soon spread to southern cities. Abdul-Mahdi's government has sought to address demonstrators' grievances.

On Tuesday, the government submitted a new series of reforms in an effort to respond to protests against corruption, staggering youth unemployment and poor public services.

Abdul-Mahdi’s cabinet approved the second package of reforms, including distribution of residential plots of land to citizens, expansion of municipal borders of cities, and changing agricultural land into residential.

FIA arrests suspect for harassing, torturing woman in Karachi
[DAWN] [DAWN] The Federal Investigation Agency's (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle on Thursday arrested a man suspected of abusing, torturing and blackmailing a woman in Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...
FIA Cyber Crime Circle Additional Director Faizullah Korejo said that the suspect impersonated himself as a person associated with an intelligence agency.

The suspect belongs to an influential family, he said, adding that FIA personnel recovered from his possession two mobile phones and a memory card containing obscene videos of several women.

A case has already been lodged against the suspect on the victim's complaint.

According to the first information report (FIR), the suspect lured the woman to a farmhouse where he captured objectionable pictures of her. Later, the suspect used these photos to blackmail the woman and subjected her to "physical intimidation".

The suspect, according to the FIR, created two fake Facebook profiles of the complainant and uploaded her photos on the social networking site when she resisted the suspect. He also allegedly sent objectionable pictures of the woman to her relatives.

Meanwhile,
...back at the buffalo wallow, Standing Buffalo drew a bead on his old enemy and squeezed the trigger...
he continued to force the woman to have a relationship with him and on at least one occasion, he tortured the woman, shaved her hair and eyebrows, and subjected her to electrocution.

On Thursday, the FIA on the victim's complaint conducted a raid at the suspect's office located on Tariq Road and arrested him. The FIA officials also recovered the phones used in the alleged offence.

According to the FIR, the suspect surrendered the passwords of the fake IDs and confessed to his crime.

Florida man disguised as woman robs bank, steals patrol car, police allege
[FOXNEWS] A man in Florida accused of robbing a bank while disguised as a woman has been arrested after he allegedly stole a police cruiser and led deputies on a two-county chase, Sherlocks said.

Gumersindo Reyes Jr., 51, was wearing a gold dress and a red wig when he entered a Chase Bank in Casselberry, northeast of Orlando, and passed a note to the teller demanding money, Police Chief Larry Krantz told news hounds. He allegedly left carrying an undisclosed amount of cash in his backpack.

Reyes drew the attention of a passing Seminole County deputy who saw the suspect ditch his disguise behind a bush, Fox 35 Orlando reported.

The deputy got out of his patrol car and confronted Reyes, who police said was displaying "bizarre" behavior.

After failing to subdue Reyes with a stun gun, the deputy chased him into an apartment complex across the street from the bank, WFTV reported. The deputy reached for his firearm to order Reyes to the ground but Reyes also tried to grab the weapon, setting off a struggle.

Reyes then dashed out of the complex and stole the deputy’s patrol vehicle, police said.

"There's nothing that drives me crazier than to see a 'bad guy,' or know that a 'bad guy' got behind the wheel of one of our patrol vehicles, even for just one moment," Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma said. "I'm OK that he was in the car, but he was sitting in the wrong seat."

Reyes led deputies on a wild chase through Seminole and Orange counties before crashing the vehicle into another car in Maitland where they finally arrested him, police said.

He faced numerous charges including battery on an officer, resisting an officer with violence and robbery with a firearm, according to police records.

Reyes had a criminal history of attempted murder and robbery in Puerto Rico, officials told WFTV.

US talking with Saudi Arabia regarding Turkish offensive against Kurdish forces
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The United States is talking with its allies in Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...

’s military offensive against Kurdish forces in northern Syria, a senior US State Department official said.

Turkey’s assault on Syrian Kurdish forces has not breached a red line declared by President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
who demanded a "humane" offensive, the US official added on Thursday.

Asked to define what action would go beyond Trump’s vague warning, the US official said it would include "ethnic cleansing... indiscriminate artillery, air and other fires directed at civilian populations."

"That is what we’re looking at right now. We have not seen significant examples of that so far, but we’re very early," the official told news hounds on condition of anonymity.

Turkish op to avoid a terror state in Syria: Erdogan
[Hurriyet Daily News] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
’s Operation Peace Spring will prevent the YPG from forming a terrorist state within Syrian territory, President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
has said, assuring the world on the continued fight against ISIS
...embracing their inner Islamic Brute...
"The objective of our operation is to avoid the establishment of a terror state in the south. That’s what we are working for," Erdogan told at a meeting of his Justice and Development Party (AKP) on Oct. 10, a day after the start of the cross-border operation.

Erdogan sought to respond to criticism and strong statements against the Ottoman Turkish move by prominent Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an and NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A single organization with differing goals, equipment, language, doctrine, and structure....
countries as well as some leading Arab nations.

"Just like other operations conducted by Turkey, the objective of the Peace Spring is to contribute to the territorial integrity and political unity of Syria. It’s quite obvious that one can talk about the territorial integrity and political unity of this country while one-fourth of its territories are under the occupation of the PKK/YPG," Erdogan said.

Turkey recognizes the YPG as the Syrian offshoot of the PKK, and therefore as terrorists.

Turkey has no problem with the Kurds in Syria but with the terror organizations like the PKK, YPG and ISIS, Erdogan said, underlining that Turkey still hosts around 300,000 Syrian Kurds who have fled the violence of the YPG and the Syrian regime.

"Let’s first see this. They are still in our country. Why don’t we talk about it? America does not see this, nor does the EU. To whom will we explain all these? Then we should tell this to our own people. There is a political party at the parliament which takes support from a terror organization. They will never see but we will let them see one way or another," Erdogan said, referring to the People’s Democratic Party (HDP).

In reference to the HDP, Erdogan said: "You cannot describe our operation as an invasion. You cannot depict our army as an invading force."

The operation aims at restoring order and stability along the Ottoman Turkish-Syrian border from the Manbij area to the Iraqi border as a safe zone where Syrians will be able to be resettled, Erdogan said, repeating his calls on EU countries to support the plan.
