#1 Article 47 of the 1949 Geneva Convention addresses unlawful combatants (and defines them). The state holding them has the option to prosecute them civilly (as was done in the Sandrock/UK and Dostler/US cases)

#7 I've been reading reports in Russian press about American and western European mercenaries helping Kiev dating back to 2014.

Since the Ukrainians have been firing on civilian areas all during that time, anyone associated with Kiev during that time is in legal jeopardy for all that destruction and deaths.

If Russian intelligence has those names, if they are caught, uniformed in the present day or not, they are hosed.

#11 I thought the Ukes shot down that Malaysian Airlines plane. (But, OH NO, not another KLM 007 "spy plane".)

And isn't there a report that an UKR air traffic controller told the pilot to reduce altitude -- coincidentally to be in range of the missile?

My recollection is it was the "ethnic Russian separatists" who shot down the Malaysian jetliner. I'll consider non-Russian sources that dispute that.

(Because the Russians were supplying the "separatists" with weapons and manpower.)

Mail them your name. During the terms of your enlistment a US-aligned entity bombed civilian areas in Gaza.

I know this because it happens every damn year.

OOh, guess what other countries let its citizens have military grade weapons. One's the US, and the other's the aforementioned US-allied entity.
