#1 Many have been forced to cut back on purchasing. Reduce inventories and reduce help. The next phase is layoffs. Regan said it best, Your neighbor loses their job is a recession. You lose your job is a depression. So I am telling people to hold onto their job. It's gonna get rough. Why, because this administration has not done anything right.

#3

As people continue to purchase less durable goods, and spend more of basic survival items (food, gas & med's) Sales Tax revenues are sure to drop.

With Mid-Term run offs in GA. now in play. The Gold Dome approved the continued suspension of Gas (road) Taxes.

Next year GA's Hwy's will surely tell.

#6 My daily commute includes about 10 miles of I271. I got nervous when it looked to be going under heavy construction. Instead the crews did about a week of partial repairs to North and South bound lanes and booked it. It wasn’t really what was needed but I wasn’t looking forward to months of slowdowns. I wonder if projects are being scaled back and the bill will yield mediocre benefits at full cost.

#10 Farmer in Kentucky who employs about 1000 asked supplier for year contract diesel price. No way. Too unstable. Supplier said by September diesel will be 10 dollars a gallon. I say again will be 10 dollars a gallon. Mid su7mmer Maryland 10 dollars a gallon for regular. July 1st 18% tax added on.

#11 Had a patchwork assfault 2 lane road leading to my 1.5 lane dirt/gravel road. Somebody decided to resurface it. 2 years ago the surface was stripped down to stones and clay, then the winter rains came. 3 months later after repacking, they began spraying with tar and chipping. Over budget because of the delay they painted a center line on what they had surfaced, and the remaining gravel. 10 miles of that. When it immediately began cracking and settling (and the painted centerline disappeared)another firm got the contract to patch the cracks and load test the rest. A third firm was contracted to tear it all up again, repack, tar and chip it again. Now 3 years later the new surface is holding but getting travel grooves.

#12 So three years and several expensive contractors later you’re not even back to where you started, so the system is working as designed.
