#1 Russia has raked in billions on oil sales. India and China account for most of it. Reduced price will attract countries like Sri Lanka who currently cannot afford oil or importation of food. Oil is a countries greatest need. Take oil away and the nations standard of living will decline dramatically and quickly.

#2 With US approval, Ukraine is giving up sovereignty to Poland in western Ukraine.

First was the revelation that Zelensky is invotibg (with US approval of course) Polish "peacekeepers" into western Ukraine -- even though there are no hostilities in that part of the country.

Then on May 24 Zelensky announced "joint customs control” on Ukraine’s border with Poland... “also the beginning of our integration into the common customs space of the European Union…."

This is an Anschluss of two former rivals. The enemy here is as much the Franco-German EU axis as it is Russua.

#3 The Polish power grab is not unexpected but is astounding nonetheless. It is an extraordinarily reckless and foolish maneuver on the part of the Biden administration. It represents an escalation of the war and a direct attack on western unity.

The Russians will begin to target the Polish "peacekeepers" and the war, rather than coming to a conclusion, will escalate to get another front, this time in the west on NATO's border.

Extremely unwise. Insane.
