#1 The OIG found that, despite the extraordinarily serious nature of the allegations and the possibility that Nassar's conduct could be continuing, senior officials in the FBI Indianapolis Field Office failed to respond to the Nassar allegations with the utmost seriousness and urgency that they deserved and required, made numerous and fundamental errors when they did respond to them, and violated multiple FBI policies.

...So sue the bastards. Somebody losing a fair chunk of their pay and pension will put the fear of God into a lot of people.

#2 End the Civil Service Act. The intent was government service would be non-partisan, that employees would be paid modest salaries and pension in return for secure employment. Now 'civil servants' are partisan, have an pay and pension compensation better than the average taxpayer, and are all but immune from firing for egregious behavior and job performance.
