#1 Can't get in. A friend of mine had an Egyptian-born Copt lawyer working for him. A liberal, he was ecstatic about the Arab spring.
The lawyer told him that without Mubarak, the Copts will die. He thought she was exaggerating, and had an axe to grind. She was right on point. Very sad.

Here's the Google search, I'm not seeing anything. It would be nice for the submitter, whoever he is, to do the legwork and find an article that everyone can read.

#5 Syria would be wise to start importing Copt refugees. And if Assad is smart, start returning the favor by persuading Sunnis to move to Sunni-run countries like Egypt, where they'll presumably be more comfortable.

#7 my first response is ofcourse! I then think about these people who had never planned nor intended to move here and adopt our language/nationality/history/ and most importantly, our social custom/compact. It needs to be made clear that THAT is the deal, take it or leave it. You don't like it? Stay there.
