#1 Police and union officials demanded an investigation after the judge had a court officer escort a robbery suspect out a rear door and to an elevator normally reserved for judges while a detective was waiting for him on June 10.

This little nugget was omitted from the original article I posted back in June. Thank you for the update, SuperHose.

#2 Zen, anything less then removing her from the bench seems like it would be a travesty. She has taken the idea of "activist judge" to a new and stupid extreme.
