#1 Has to do with the type of single quotes you use on your machine. I'll change them to double quotes tomorrow and see if the problem clears up.

#2 Seems OK now.
So use double quotes in the article post for embedded URL's?
Same for URL's in Comments, just to be consistent?

#3 Yeah. I think your machine uses an ANSI characterset. When I looked, the quotes were "primes", rather than apostrophes.

#4 I always have this link trouble when embedding links here, but only using Netscape. When I really need to embed a link I switch to Konqueror, but that's kind of a pain. I always use double quotes for links; I didn't know single quotes would work.
