#1 ....A surprising number of these survive as war memorials across the US. One sits in front of my son's high school, dedicated to the lost of WWI.

...It's been pointed out that at the beginning of WWII, the 75 was probably the best anti-tank weapon on the planet. The French had thousands of them stored away along with enough ammo to keep them firing for months - had they the imagination to picture the Germans coming through the 'impassable' Ardnennes, deploying them there (Hell, deploying them ANYWHWERE) would have drastically changed the Battle of France.
