#1 ...Realistically, there was never any chance that anybody was going to get a religious exemption from DoD. If you have any kind of religious problem at all with vaccines, you would have never gotten in the door in the first place, and I suspect that there will soon be a change to the enlistment paperwork to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen again.

#4 I read somewhere (perhaps here) that the form letters the military is using to deny these exemptions could be used in court to evidence that the exemption requests were never given an individual review of circumstances.
