Suspect's Loud Fart Helps Police Sniff Out His Hiding Place
[Yahoo] A man trying to elude police in Missouri ended up being betrayed by his own backside.

Liberty Police Department officers over the weekend were searching vainly for a man wanted on a warrant charging possession of a controlled substance, according to the Kansas City Star. The suspect might have gotten away, if he hadn’t been betrayed by his own butt.

It seems the man let out a huge fart right at the wrong time, allowing officers to sniff out where he was hiding, authorities said. Cops didn’t release the man’s identity.

The nearby Clay County Sheriff’s Office got wind of the arrest and decided to turn it into a cautionary tale, presumedly to discourage others from engaging in criminal behavior (or at least avoiding beans before any illegal activity):

If you’ve got a felony warrant for your arrest, the cops are looking for you and you pass gas so loud it gives up your hiding spot, you’re definitely having a ****ty day.

Liberty police apparently appreciated the tweet ― not just for the publicity, but for the opportunity to emit some flatulence wisecracks.

And, yes, they let them rip:

"Thanks to @SheriffClayCo for airing out a wanted person’s dirty laundry and fanning the flames. The Liberty Police Department was surprised to see this incident slip out, which stinks for the arrestee. Fortunately, no one was injured during his arrest"

HuffPost reached out to the police department, but no one immediately responded.

The capture raises at least one stinking question: When the suspect is brought before a judge, will there be odor in the court?

MH370 pilot in control ‘until the end', French investigators suspect
Thank God we have experts or we would never figure this out.
[Yahoo] The pilot of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 was in control of the plane "until the end", French investigators reportedly suspect, after gaining access to "crucial" flight data.

The readouts "lend weight" to suspicions that he crashed into the sea in a murder-suicide, they were cited as saying.

The long knives are now out for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
[AmericanThinker] Following the public catfight between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a can't-stop-mouthing-off Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez team over casually hurled claims of racism, Democrats aren't about to just let the whole thing go and "try to do better" next time.

Apparently, the longtime machine pols of the outer boroughs of New York City are being activated. Jurassic Rep. Gregory Meeks, of Queens, an 11-term congressman, put Ocasio-Cortez on notice that she, too, could be in line to get primaried. She wants to play Robespierre on the Dems, she can wind up like him on the guillotine, too.

Maybe not the way you or I would see it, but by their lights she did it right - whereas Occasional Cortex kind of wandered into the job and started running her mouth like a 20-year veteran. That ain't gonna work no matter which side of the Unified Ruling Party you're on. If she'd have ridden out a term or two, THEN started going after the leadership, it might have been different - but frankly, I think she's toast. She just don't know it yet.

Acosta's Sweetheart Deal Likely to Foreclose Epstein's SDNY Prosecution
[Outline] Double-jeopardy rules almost certainly prohibit settling a federal case and then prosecuting it again in federal court.

Alex Acosta did a bad job on the Jeffrey Epstein case. This column was nearly finished when news broke Friday that he would resign as labor secretary. I was going to argue that his lapses did not justify joining the nakedly political mau-mauing by Democrats who have no interest in exploring the behavior of Democrats who are neck-deep in a monstrous pedophile’s activities. My friend Jennifer Braceras has ably addressed that point in a Washington Examiner column. I was also going to add that I’d shed no tears if President Trump forced Acosta out ‐ easy for me to say, since I think (a) he should never have been nominated in the first place, and (b) his commitment to Trump’s deregulation agenda has never been sufficiently ardent.

Under the circumstances, I’ll spare you a few hundred words of critique on Acosta’s indecorous performance. Instead, to cut to the chase, I do not believe we can yet total up the wages of the sweetheart deal he cut for Epstein while he was U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida (SD-Florida). The commentariat is glibly assuming the courts will give the feds a second bite at the apple by allowing the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) to prosecute the charges that Acosta forfeited. I don’t think so.

Double Jeopardy

On Monday, Geoffrey Berman, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced that his office has now charged Epstein. While the SDNY indictment may be new, Epstein’s crimes are not. They are the same offenses from which Acosta agreed to spare Epstein from federal prosecution if he pled guilty to state prostitution charges ‐ which Epstein proceeded to do, in reliance on Acosta’s commitment. There is thus a very good chance, based on the Constitution’s guarantee against double jeopardy, that the SDNY case against Epstein will be voided by the SD-Florida non-prosecution agreement (non-pros).

To be sure, the SDNY has a counterargument, and it will be vigorously made. It has two components. First, there is language in the non-pros that appears to limit the agreement to SD-Florida, to wit: "prosecution in this District for these offenses shall be deferred in favor of prosecution by the State of Florida" (emphasis added). Here, "deferred" effectively means forfeited ‐ the same effect for double-jeopardy purposes as a conviction or acquittal ‐ because of Epstein’s compliance with the requirement that he plead guilty in the state case. Second, there is jurisprudence in the Second Circuit (which controls in the SDNY) holding that one federal district’s agreement does not bind another.

Therefore, prosecutors will argue that the 2007 SD-Florida non-pros does not bar a 2019 SDNY indictment arising out of the same conduct and charging the same offenses.

I’m skeptical . . . and I think the SDNY is, too, notwithstanding the brave face prosecutors put on this week. They have carefully drafted an indictment far narrower than the SD-Florida’s contemplated case. If prosecutors really believed that there was no double-jeopardy problem, they’d have no such hesitation: They’d throw everything the FBI ever had at this sociopath. They know they are on thin ice.

I suspect it is too thin. There is a great deal in the non-pros that cuts against the suggestion that it was limited to the SD-Florida. Moreover, unlike Professor Jonathan Turley (among others), I believe the Supreme Court’s recent double-jeopardy ruling ‐ in the Gamble case (addressed in this column), which involved the "dual sovereignty" doctrine ‐ hurts, rather than helps, the SDNY’s position.

Andrew C. McCarthy, July 13, 2019, National Review
Lawfare is the using of the legal system to maintain a two-tier system of justice where the person with the most money and the best legal team can make the justice system seem unfair. An example of the use of lawfare is the O.J. Simpson case. Another example is the Epstein plea deal in the Southern District of Florida. The plea deal was designed to prevent another jurisdiction from prosecuting a case under double jeopardy argument. This article presents a pessimistic view for Epstein being prosecuted in New York for the crime of human trafficking of minor girls .

#5  Double-jeopardy rules almost certainly prohibit settling a federal case and then prosecuting it again in federal court.

A recent fiat by SCOTUS says however, you can be prosecuted in a state court for the same act you were prosecuted by the feds. Then again, it seems SCOTUS has no use for the Constitution as written, so why not try.

Different victims, different case? BTW, a pox on Acosta, followed closely by an DoJ/IRS investigation. If he is found guilty of breaking the law, bribery, aiding & abetting human trafficking etc., perhaps his decision on Epstein can be tossed.

#8  How ironic that both sides in America's current cold civil war so frequently demonize Russia as a corrupt, evil, oligarchy with no rule of law.

Rule of law in America today is not so weak as in Russia, but it is weak nonetheless.

And rule of law is weak and fraying here precisely because our government, like Russia's government, has effectively become an oligarchy.

Epstein is a lowlife parasite who has wormed his way inside of the American oligarchy, and now the oligarchy is protecting this vile specimen. He's one of their own. They enabled him, and they now will ensure that his and their crimes go unpunished.

At least that's what some might say. I think he did exactly as intended.

AFAIAC, if he did it again after the deal, the feds get to go at him again. And I think the case will need to be overseen by a truly impartial independent prosecutor (or ten) while it's happening, if there is such a thing.

Americans Strongly Applaud America and Its Past [Poll]
[Rasmussen] Democrats and many in the media have been highly critical of the July 4 celebration President Trump hosted in Washington, DC, but voters strongly share the rosy view of America and the U.S. military that the president honored that day.

Seventy-three percent (73%) of Likely U.S. Voters agree with Trump’s statement in his July 4 speech that "together we are part of one of the greatest stories ever told ‐ the story of America. It is the epic tale of a great nation whose people have risked everything for what they know is right."

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 12% disagree with the president’s statement, while slightly more (15%) are undecided.

Europe
France trumpets shared European defense on Bastille Day
PARIS (AP) ‐ French President Emmanuel Macron has overseen France’s annual Bastille Day celebration, which this year showcases European defense cooperation.

Flags of the 10 countries of the European Intervention Initiative, a joint military pact created last year, led Sunday’s military parade down the Champs Elysees avenue in Paris.

Although the display included over 4,000 armed forces, 69 planes and 39 helicopters, its biggest crowd-pleaser was a man rocketing through the air on a flyboard device ‐ the invention of French former jet-skiing champion Franky Zapata.

Tensions in the street remain high in Paris following months of demonstrations by the anti-Macron yellow vest protesters who want more help for French workers. On Sunday, television images showed police grabbing one of the movement’s leaders, Eric Drouet, as he stood on the sidelines of the parade and escorting him away.

At France’s 2017 Bastille Day events, U.S. President Donald Trump, as guest of honor, was so impressed he ordered a military parade in Washington for America’s July 4 celebrations.

Macron will later host a lunch at the Elysee Palace with other European leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

AG Barr: Justice Dept. is 'all in' on criminal justice overhaul
[AP via Houston Chronical] EDGEFIELD, S.C. (AP) ‐ Leroy Nolan has spent the last 26 years behind bars at a federal prison for a drug conviction. In the prison factory, he works making T-shirts, backpacks and other products that are later sold to government agencies, nonprofits and others.

But what has become a decades-long routine for Nolan behind the barbed wire, steel gates and concrete walls of FCI Edgefield, a prison in rural South Carolina, will all change on Friday when he walks out the front door. The 67-year-old is among about 2,200 federal inmates who will be released that day by the federal Bureau of Prisons under a criminal justice reform measure signed into law last year by President Donald Trump.

The measure, known as the First Step Act, gives judges more discretion when sentencing some drug offenders, eases mandatory minimum sentences and encourages inmates to participate in programs designed to reduce the risk of recidivism, with credits that can be used to gain an earlier release.

On a visit this past week to Edgefield ‐ a facility with a medium-security prison and minimum-security camp ‐ Attorney General William Barr took a firsthand look at some of the programs in place, from computer skills to cooking, auto mechanic training and factory work. He met with prison staff and a handful of inmates, including some who will be released early under the First Step Act.

Barr's visit signaled a major policy shift since his first stint as attorney general in the early 1990s, when he exuded a tough-on-crime approach, advocating for more severe penalties, building more prisons and using laws to keep some criminals behind bars longer. Barr has said he will fully support and carry out the law.

Trump has touted the overhaul as a rare bipartisan effort to address concerns that too many Americans were imprisoned for nonviolent crimes as a result of the drug war. The president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, helped persuade him to get behind the measure and clashed with former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who did not see criminal justice reform as a top priority.

In the culinary skills class at Edgefield, the aspiring chefs told Barr about how they earn restaurant-level food preparedness and safety certificates so they can immediately try to find work once they are released.

Inmate-chef Eddie Montgomery helped prepare a spread of chicken, blackened fish, green beans and mashed potatoes, which he offered to Barr, while explaining how the program was "top notch."

Fresh from the lab: Startups make meat that avoids slaughter
EMERYVILLE, Calif. (AP) ‐ Uma Valeti slices into a pan-fried chicken cutlet in the kitchen of his startup, Memphis Meats. He sniffs the tender morsel on his fork before taking a bite. He chews slowly, absorbing the taste.

"Our chicken is chicken ... you’ve got to taste it to believe it," Valeti says.

This is no ordinary piece of poultry. No chicken was raised or slaughtered to harvest the meat. It was produced in a laboratory by extracting cells from a chicken and feeding them in a nutrient broth until the cell culture grew into raw meat.

Memphis Meats, based in Emeryville, California, is one of a growing number of startups worldwide that are making cell-based or cultured meat. They want to offer an alternative to traditional meat production that they say is damaging the environment and causing unnecessary harm to animals, but they are far from becoming mainstream and face pushback from livestock producers.

"You are ultimately going to continue the choice of eating meat for many generations to come without putting undue stress on the planet," said Valeti, a former cardiologist who co-founded Memphis Meats in 2015 after seeing the power of stem cells to treat disease.

The company, which also has produced cell-grown beef and duck, has attracted investments from food giants Cargill and Tyson Foods as well as billionaires Richard Branson and Bill Gates.

Appeals court turns down requests to halt Trump rule cutting Planned Parenthood funding
[Washington Examiner] A federal appeals court allowed a Trump administration rule that would cut Planned Parenthood funding to go forward while it considers the rule at greater length.

A panel of judges on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday denied a motion to restore a lower court injunction of the administration's Title X rule, allowing it to take effect until the full panel of judges decides whether to stop or allow the full implementation of the rule.

"We are greatly encouraged to see the Ninth Circuit rule in favor of allowing President Trump’s Protect Life Rule to take effect while it continues to be litigated," said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the anti-abortion group the Susan B. Anthony List.

Trump's rule, which would prevent Title X family planning funding from going to abortion providers or to clinics that refer patients to abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood facilities, has been in litigation since its March introduction.

Thursday's decision comes after abortion rights groups won a temporary halt to the rule on July 3 after a panel of three Republican judges in late June allowed the rule to go into effect, overruling a federal judge in Washington who, in April, blocked the Title X rule.

NYC residents left in the dark now blamed on power outage
NEW YORK (AP) ‐ On the anniversary of a 1977 blackout that left most of New York City without power, a massive power outage on a hot Saturday night in Manhattan preemptively brought the curtain down on Broadway shows and packed streets with people wielding cellphones as flashlights amid a cacophony of sirens and horns from stalled traffic.

Underground, the scene was similarly in disarray as the blackout affecting 73,000 customers for more than three hours hit the subway system. Con Edison CEO John McAvoy said a problem at a substation caused the 6:47 p.m. power failure, which stretched 30 blocks from Times Square to 72nd Street and Broadway and spread to Rockefeller Center. Electricity was restored to customers and businesses in midtown Manhattan and the Upper West Side by around midnight, according to a statement from the utility.

McAvoy said the exact cause of the blackout would not be known until an investigation is completed.

The outage affected the entire subway system, closing four Manhattan stations to the public ‐ Columbus Circle, Rockefeller Center, Hudson Yards and Fifth Avenue at 53rd Street. But Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesman Maxwell Young said train operators were able to manually change the signals and bring at least one car into stations so passengers could disembark.

US Army Wants to Make Russian Weapons and Ammo for Its Allies
[The National Interest] The announcement by Army Contracting Command merely says that the Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition System, is conducting a market survey to determine which manufacturers can produce ammunition for a shopping list of Russian weapons. But what a shopping list! The Army seems to want to recreate half the Soviet Cold War arsenal.

Why does the U.S. Army want American companies to make ammunition for Russian-designed weapons?
Foto depicts Albanian SF 12.7x108mm DShK machine gun mounted on a US MRAP in Afghanistan
For the same reason that U.S. Special Operations Command wants U.S. companies to manufacture Russian-designed rifles and machine guns. Many groups that the U.S. supports, such as in the Middle East, have been accustomed to using Soviet and Russian weapons for years. The theory is that rather than force them to switch to Western arms, it’s easier for the U.S. to send them Russian weapons and ammunition made in America.

The announcement by Army Contracting Command merely says that the Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition System, is conducting a market survey to determine which manufacturers can produce ammunition for a shopping list of Russian weapons. But what a shopping list! The Army seems to want to recreate half the Soviet Cold War arsenal. The spreadsheet posted by the Army includes up to ten million AK-47 rifle and PKM and DShK machine gun rounds, 250,000 RPG-7 rockets, and bullets for Russian pistols.

#6  We really need a new political class that has the skill and foresight to turn around our relationship with Russia.

True, they have a $hitty government, but there are so many areas where our interests align that we should be able to find a way to make them into a useful partner, if not an ally.

Russia can help keep China in check. Russia has given us great help against militant Islam. Russia works closely with Israel. If we can peel them off of Iran, Russia can help us in the Middle East and preserve their cooperation in the fight against the Taliban (and maybe the ISI, too).

Nobody talks about the Arctic, but that is another area of enormous mutual opportunity. We can both extract oil and gas and create new shipping lanes that will benefit us and them.

Finally, NATO needs to die. We need to reach an understanding with Russia that allows us both to stop wasting so much time and resource and materiel threatening each other, and turn our hubs and energies outward, at the mutual threats to the South and East.

How it's Done - Indian Cops Launch 'Operation Clean', To Deport 60 Africans
[IndiaToday] Sixty foreign nationals - mostly Africans
they're simply called 'Negr○es' here
, were detained in UP's Greater Noida on Wednesday, mostly for allegedly staying in the country on invalid or forged documents, police said.
See? The Lestrades here don't even bother with databases. They don't like your kind, you're gone.
Those held included people of nine nationalities, including Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Ivory Coast and Angola, the police said.

Earlier on May 12 this year, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had made the country's biggest seizure of over 1,800 kg pseudoephedrine and 24 kg of cocaine from a house in Greater Noida. It was run by three Nigerians who were arrested.
"Sixty foreigners staying in Greater Noida on invalid or forged documents and those suspected to have links with drug trafficking were detained today," Gautam Buddh Nagar Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna told PTI.

He said the searches began at 5 am under the 10th edition of 'Operation Clean', a special initiative of the district police, and continued till 8 am.

"One of those detained is from the Philippines, while others are from countries in Africa. One of the detainees was found staying on a fake passport," Krishna said.

Three teams comprising personnel of the police and the Local Investigation Unit (LIU) carried out inspections at four housing societies in Greater Noida's Pi 1, Beta 2 and Dadri areas.

"Visa and passport of around 320 foreign nationals were checked. Documents of 60 foreigners appeared invalid or suspicious and some of them declined to show the documents. These 60 have been detained for questioning," a police spokesperson said, adding that 28 of them are women.
The respective embassies of the detainees were informed about the action and further proceedings to deport them are underway.
"During inspection 222 bottles of beer marked for sale in Delhi, 3.5 kg cannabis, six laptops and 114 sim cards
With that, investigation is moot anyway, 'They're dirty!' Declares the inspector.
were also seized," he said.

UPDATE (not in the news, yet): Some of them managed to fake illness and escaped from a hospital near the holding center, on Friday. Four of the escapees were injured
Shot in the legs and arse.
and re-arrested. Around 20 of the detainees, especially the women began to chimp outagitate, destroying the holding shelter facilities, spitting on guards and pushing about officials. They were put in real jail for "disturbing the peace". 12 of the original detainees were judiciously released later because they had simply overstayed their visas and had wives and kids here
Yupp, we're sentimental that way
and employers or university deans to vouch for their good conduct. Those jailed for making trouble are to be deported on completion of their remand.
Remand in India, especially UP means joyous nights of excess for bad cops. They'll probably get even for all the spitting and pushing, while the africans will learn why they mustn't come to India again.

"Dis country no good. No good."

Nineteen Eighty-Four at 70: What Orwell Got Right
[American Thinker] This summer, George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four turns 70 years old, and that anniversary has prompted a surfeit of articles analyzing the book and its continuing relevance to our age.

There is no doubt that the book is one of the most consequential political novels ever written and ought to be on the reading list of every conservative -- not because Orwell was himself a conservative (he remained a man of the Left until his death), nor because the dystopian world that Orwell described turned out to be prophetic.

"The image of a boot stamping across the human face," in Orwell's memorable phrase, is an accurate depiction of present-day North Korea or China, but is not really an apt description of the U.S. or Western Europe, societies that have fallen into the kind of soft despotism described by Alexis de Tocqueville, but well short of the dystopian nightmare foreseen in Nineteen Eighty-Four.

However, the novel remains prescient in its depiction of two key elements of modern-day political correctness conceived of and promoted by the Progressive Left: the war on language and the war on memory.

In Nineteen Eighty-Four, Orwell focuses on an individual living in "Oceania," a socialist society comprising the present-day nations of England and the Americas. In the novel, Oceania is abandoning standard English, which is referred to as "Oldspeak," and is adopting "Newspeak," a limited vocabulary designed to restrict thought.

Orwell understood that words enable thought and thought enables action. If there is no word for something, it makes it hard to think about it. This is an ancient insight -- the Bible speaks reverently of "The Word."

#3  Aesop, Orwell, once you get a drift of human behavior, it really doesn't change. Orwell figured out rather early what power and the concentration of power leads to in the modern world. BTW, the founders thought the same thing which is the reason for the separation of powers among the branches of the national government and between the states and national government. That's an arrangement that the Judiciary has been attacking in its assumption of authority and power that was never intended.

#5  Of course Orwell was liberal. Many think of him as an atheist and rebel, like Hitchens, seeking to find common ground with his genius. I believe he was more christian than christians try to be, and never knew it. He did hate the roman catholic creeds anyway, and saw the same bureaucratic bullshit in organized religion as in any other political committee.

Any liberal of Orwell's kind would probably see the 'liberals' of today as bloody fools, anarchy cultists with zero understanding, free time and money on their hands. If Marx met AOC for example, he'd rip his manifesto to shreds and stomp on it. Liberal thinkers have appropriated his legacy to spell out 'Big Brother' and its connotations with national security agencies Poor, desperate bastards and surveillance. But that's the problem with so many supposed 'thinkers', lauded by committees and rulers as visionaries because their enterprise borrows from unreal doctrine to gain acceptance. These thinkers can opine on utopias and possible outcomes of theoretical prescriptions to be inserted in legislation, because it's easy to think in terms of 'the written word.' Scholars and academics, have so very little connect with real life and almost always die adamant, narcissistic old farts.

What the Bible teaches is that it's the spirit behind every word that is more important. Because word is thought expressed and thoughts originate in spirit(or mind, if you're so inclined). An evil spirit expressing seemingly kind, generous words and humanist theories still aims to wreak havoc by supplanting mankind. And you know the spirit by it's fruits. So if it has once produced mayhem and destruction, the result the second time round, with revised theories and new words won't be any different. For example, the first evil spirit that controlled mankind and taught us about 'Big Government' and globalism was in Babylon.

It was Nimrod who united every known tribe into constructing the first self licking ice-cream cone. His administration taught them government - the so called social compact, and the enslavement of man by other men. And every organization, bureaucracy and committee today swears by its efficacy.

America is not yet a dystopia, only because there still have to be people there who believe in the first word, from God. The Bible.

#8  This article is exactly right.

Newspeak is everywhere, and the goal is exactly as Orwell predicted: to restrict thought by declaring certain ways of thinking to be culturally and even legally unacceptable.

We see this in Ontario's ridiculous tranny legislation that compels the use of Newspeak.

We see it in the ubiquitous use of the bullshit, nonsense-on-stilts neologism undocumented that has displaced the clear and universally-understood, standard legal term used in the statutes, illegal alien.

We see it in the complete degradation of the word diversity, to the point where it denotes the absence of diversity.

"Tolerance" means intolerance.

"Progressive" denotes reactionary politics.

"Conservative" describes radicalism and extreme market mania.

"Shareholder value" describes the practice of corporate insiders lining their own pockets.

Etc etc

Clintons booed at Billy Joel concert in New York City
[Washington Examiner] Bill and Hillary Clinton got booed at a Billy Joel concert in New York City after the singer gave them a shoutout.

"I dedicate this next song to my good friends who are here tonight, Bill and Hillary Clinton," Joel said at the Thursday night concert as the crowd's initial cheers turned into boos as the duo's faces appeared on screen.

The political partners have remained controversial in American politics with a Gallup poll from last fall showing Hillary's approval rating at only 36% and Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct from the 1990s being relitigated in light of the "#MeToo" movement.

This week, Bill Clinton tried to distance himself from billionaire Jeffrey Epstein after the convicted sex offender was arrested again on charges of conspiracy and child sex trafficking.

Bethlehem Summer Camp Teaches Children To Idolize Terrorists - Report
A brief video of the children doing their camp chant can be seen at the link.
[Jpost] A group of young campers sit outside wearing matching camp T-shirts and clapping their hands rhythmically, while cheering in time.

It's not an unfamiliar scene to those who have attended summer camps. However,
today is that tomorrow you were thinking about yesterday...
they are not chanting about spirit or lemonade or even sports ‐ they are yelling, "Saddam Hussein, O God, have mercy on Saddam Hussein!"

The Paleostinian Media Watch has reported on this phenomenon and has publicized this video of Paleostinian youth being taught to venerate a number of different historical figures. "This is how Fatah teaches its children loyalty to the Martyrs' blood," reads an introduction to the video

The campers in question are marked with the logo of the PLO Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, and are members of the Bethlehem Branch of the Fatah Shabiba [Youth Movement] Committee. In addition to chanting about Hussein, they laud former PLO chairman Yasser Arafat who, according to PMW, was behind attacks during the Second Intifada.

They also praised Abu Jihad, who was one of Fatah's founders and was behind terror attacks against civilians during the Leb War. Abu Iyad also came up in the chant ‐ he was Arafat's deputy and the organizer of the 1972 Munich Olympics attack that killed 11 Israeli athletes.

Nan Jacques Zilberdik, a senior PMW analyst, said that the video displays indoctrination and incitement of children by the Paleostinian Authority. "The blatant misuse by Fatah and the PLO of its summer camps is yet another example of the extent that the Paleostinian Authority goes to, to indoctrinate and abuse their own children," she said. "Instead of teaching Paleostinian children the building blocks for life, these programs are preaching that violence and terror are legitimate ‐ and that arch-terrorists, who are responsible for the murder of hundreds of Israeli civilians, are their ultimate role models."

According to PMW, a number of summer camps have been named after terrorists, such as Abu Jihad and Dalal Mughrabi, a Fatah terrorist who hijacked a bus in 1978, killing dozens and wounding 70.

Hezbollah linked to 30 mosques/centers in Germany
[Jpost] The intelligence agency for the city of Hamburg has reported that 30 mosques and cultural centers in Germany have ties to the US-classified terrorist organization Hezbollah.

"In Germany there are currently about 30 known cultural and mosque associations in which a clientele regularly meets that is close to Hezbollah or its ideology," the agency wrote this past week.

According to the 282-page document reviewed by The Jerusalem Post, "The collection of donations is one of the most important tasks of the associations" where Hezbollah operatives meet.

"The associations are characterized by the effort to strengthen the bonds of the Lebanese living here [in Hamburg] with their homeland and to the organization."

The intelligence document raises the question of how much money German Hezbollah members are sending to Leb to aid in advancing terrorism and to wage war against Syrian civilians.

The Post has previously reported on Hezbollah-controlled centers in the cities of Bremen and Munster along with other Hezbollah meeting places in the state of Lower Saxony. The Hamburg report shows a larger presence of Hezbollah locations than previously documented by German authorities.

The report says there are 30 Hezbollah supporters in Hamburg and a total of 1,050 Hezbollah supporters across Germany, the latter figure confirmed by additional German intelligence data.

Maduro came out Friday in defense of his minister Tareck el-Aissami, targeted by Washington and "traitors" of his government, who link him to Hizbullah, reports said.

In a reported public address attended by el-Aissami, Maduro assured that the US government "spent its time attacking" his Minister of Industry "because he is the son of an Arab couple ( ...), (and that he is) from a family partly from Syria and partly from Leb."

"They want to bind him to Hizbullah, I know Tareck very well, I know him very well, never in his life has he had contact with anyone in Hizbullah," said the head of the socialist state.

Washington considers Hizbullah a "terrorist organization" and on Tuesday has announced fresh sanctions against elected Hizbullah officials for the first time.

Drugs 'planted' in Rana’s car, opposition senators claim
[DAWN] Members of a parliamentary body on Friday doubted the government’s version that MNA Rana Sanaullah had 15 kilograms of drugs worth Rs220 million in his car.

"There is a general scare that anyone can plant drugs in anyone’s car. The matter has been hushed up. We want to know exact details of the case of Rana Sanaullah’s arrest," said Senator Saleem Zia of the Pakistain Moslem League-Nawaz, who raised the issue during a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Narcotics Control.

"Why would a politician and a former law minister be carrying drugs with him and that too in such huge quantities?" Pakistain Peoples Party Senator Anwar Lal Dean asked a bigwig from the narcotics ministry and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

The committee members implied that the drugs were planted in the car of Mr Sanaullah, who was arrested on the Faisalabad

African Migrants Turned Church Into Base to Deal Heroin
[BREITBART] Five African migrants colonists have been arrested in Rome this week after turning a local church into a headquarters for trafficking and stockpiling large amounts of heroin.

The five young migrant men, four of whom were from Gambia
... The Gambia is actually surrounded by Senegal on all sides but its west coast. It has a population of about 1.7 million. The difference between the two is that in colonial days Senegal was ruled by La Belle France and The Gambia (so-called because there's only one of it, unlike Guinea, of which there are the Republic of Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, New Guinea, the English coin in circulation between 1663 and 1813, and Guyana, which sounds like it should be another one) was ruled by Britain...
and the other from Mali, used the church in Rome’s Torre Angela area on the Via delle Amazzoni as a place to store and sell drugs after seeing a large number of mostly Nigerian worshippers visited the church on weekends, Il Giornale reports.

Italian coppers raided the church this week and as they did so, the members of the narco gang attempted to hide around two pounds of heroin while other members kicked and punched the officers trying to get into the building.

Brittany Zamora sentenced to 20 years in prison for sex with teen student
[NYPOST] A former Arizona teacher was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison for having sex multiple times with one of her students, a 13-year-old boy.

The sentence, the minimum that 28-year-old Brittany Zamora faced, was the culmination of a sensational case that drew international attention, The Arizona Republic reported.

"I am a good and genuine person who made a mistake and regret it deeply," Zamora told the court in Maricopa County before sentencing, according to the paper. "I lived my life respecting and trying to obey every law. I’m not a threat to society by any means."

She apologized to the victims of her actions, their kin and her own relatives, the paper reported. She told the judge that her actions were out of character and said she’d like to attend counseling. She said she wants to earn a new degree in prison so she can start another career when she is free once more.

The parents of the boy found out the married Zamora was having sex with their son after they began monitoring his phone with an app.

Zamora taught sixth-grade students at Las Brisas Academy in Goodyear. She was arrested in March 2018 and pleaded guilty last month to charges of sexual conduct with a minor, attempted molestation of a child and public sexual indecency.

On one occasion, Zamora asked an 11-year-old boy who was a friend of the 13-year-old to stand watch during an encounter in her classroom, the paper reported.

China-Japan-Koreas
Xi Jinping In Translation: China's Guiding Ideology
Click through to read this for an in-depth look at what Xi really believes and what he wants. It's dry.
[PalladiumMag] One of the most striking aspects of this speech is the language Xi Jinping invokes: party members must have "faith" (xìnyǎng) in the eventual victory of socialism; proper communists must be "devout" (qiánchéng) in their work; and Party members must be prepared to "sacrifice" (xīshēng) everything, up to their own blood, for revolutionary "ideals that reach higher than heaven" (gémìng lǐxiǎng gāo yú tiān).

Behind this religiously charged language is a man deeply worried that the cadres of his generation are not prepared to make the sort of sacrifices their parents and grandparents did for China’s revolutionary cause. Xi’s verdict is that such people do not have enough faith in the "eventual demise of capitalism and the ultimate victory of socialism." Their "views lack a firm grounding in historical materialism," leading them to doubt that "socialism is bound to win." This has practical consequences. The cadre without communist convictions will act "hedonistically" and "self-interestedly." Worst of all, he might begin to believe "false arguments that we should abandon socialism" altogether.

For Xi, this would be a grave betrayal of the Party’s heritage. The Communist Party of China is tasked with "building a socialism that is superior to capitalism" whose economic and technological prowess will give it "the dominant position" in world affairs. And though Xi asserts that this is inevitable, "the road will be tortuous." Party members must fiercely fend off ideological attacks on socialism with Chinese characteristics. The most pressing ideological problems identified in this speech are two ’false arguments:’ First, that the mass death, cruelty, and poverty of Maoist China undermines the credibility of the Party leadership today, and second, that socialism with Chinese characteristics is not really socialism at all.

#2  Interesting. I always saw Xi's State-Corporate machine as a kind of Taoist fascism. A come-what-may, pig-headed policy of expansion of capital and resources to the ends of the earth, in search of some abstruse idea of perfection.

What does Marx have to do with Zhongnanhai?

Very little. One must understand that all 'isms' are ultimately semantic excuses. Justifications and banners to unite the gullible masses behind some historic ideal or icon. What worked for a sick and beaten down China after Britain and Japan were through with her, was the 'revolutionary' theme.

Today, there's no revolution. It's a police state, like most other large states. They, like China claim to be based on true liberal socialist ideals, but are they ? In fact, there can be no such thing as a liberal state without the idea of 'res publica' as the substratum of Government.

Anything like China leads to heavy handedness and near fascist coercion. Ping's calls for faith and sacrifice are more attempts to reinforce the resolves of both the 'in-on-it' oligarchs and the loyal fascist gendarmerie towards a bitter time that has come their way. The circumlocution around marxist themes and merging Chinese ethos with communist ideal is just filibuster. It doesn't mean anything anymore, except a public relations exercise. I doubt Xinping ponders the specifics of the communist ideal himself, he seems to only care about "One nation under heaven". Now that's a typical, crude Chinese ideal.

All the domestic and external policies of China so far have been extremely materialist, with no care for the environment or even their own future generations, which the party sees as more fodder for the machine. It has spread and prospered unchecked, only thanks to the self obsessed, navel gazing democracies of the post-war world. It went on in its path to greatness because it said "Fuck Democracy" and thundered ahead at the cost of it's people, who by now must be quite expectant of the returns in their investment.

But thanks to a disruptive force growing called majoritarian government (that seeks to reverse pacifist, pansy policies of earlier regimes) in the world And it's everywhere, from the US to Italy and India , leaders are making changes to secure the continuity of resources and capital for their own people, and China sees it's momentum built on imaginary achievements and bullying others challenged.

In short, time has come for China to put their money where their bullshit spewing mouth is.

...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
, Jawzjan, Paktia and Maidan Wardak provinces," the Kandahar governor Hayatullah Hayat said.

"We arrested some individual who had no links with festivities in Kandahar. For instance, one of the suspects says that he was [the Taliban’s designated] deputy chief of intelligence," said Gen. Barakatullah Samkanai, head of the NDS office in Kandahar.

Kandahar residents said such operations are needed to improve the security of the southern provinces.

"We call on judicial organizations to persuade their duties with honesty and implement the law on terrorists," said Ghulam Reza, a Kandahar resident.

"Security is not good after the death of [former Kandahar police chief Gen. Abdul] Raziq, because we see many illegal button men in the city [of Kandahar]. It is wrong that they are released after they are arrested [by security forces]," said Eid Mohammad, a Kandahar resident.

Trump issues Jeffrey Epstein challenge to press: 'Find out the people that went to the island'
[WASHINGTONTIMES] President Trump has a challenge for investigative journalists everywhere: Find out who visited convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein
...A high class pimp financier who was alleged to maintain a stable of underage whores sex slaves who were paid big bucks to entertain the rich and/or famous. He is a registered sex offender and has so far made 17 out-of-court settlements with former members of his stable, and some cases are ongoing. 2011 court docs reveal that 21 email addresses and phone numbers for Bill Clinton and an aide were found in Epstein's electronic black book, and that Clinton frequently flew with Epstein on his private plane between 2002 to 2005. But But really, they were probably just discussing finance or politix or something. While getting massaged.....
’s island.

The billionaire whose plane was called "Lolita Express" by pundits often brought the rich and powerful to his private island. The president on Friday noted that news hounds now focused on outgoing Labor Secretary Alex Acosta’s prosecution of Mr. Epstein should dig into who visited what became known among locals as "Orgy Island."

"Other people, they went all over with him," Mr. Trump said from the White House lawn. "They went to his island and all over the place. He was very well known in palm his island ‐ whatever his island was, wherever it is, I was never there. Find out the people that went to the island."

The president also noted that Mr. Epstein was booted from his private Palm Beach, Florida, club Mar-a-Lago, Mediaite reported.

"I didn’t want anything to do with him," Mr. Trump said. "That was many, many years ago. ... I threw him out."

US Service Member Killed In Afghanistan: RS
[ToloNews] A US service member was killed Saturday, July 13, in Afghanistan, NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Originally it was a mutual defense pact directed against an expansionist Soviet Union. In later years it evolved into a mechanism for picking the American pocket while criticizing the cut of the American pants...
’s Resolute Support (RS) mission said without giving further details.

According to the US Department of Defense policy, the name of the service member killed in action is being withheld until 24 hours after notification of next of kin is complete.

The service members death brings to 10 the number of US troops killed in Afghanistan so far this year, compared to 12 in 2018.

On June 25, Army Master Sergeant Micheal B. Riley and Sgt. James G. Johnston were killed in Uruzgan Province by small arms fire while engaged in combat operations, the Pentagon said. That incident is under investigation.

At least 2,300 American soldiers have died and more than 20,400 have been maimed in the country since a US-led coalition ousted the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
in 2001.
An Nahar add:
The US now has some 14,000 troops in Afghanistan -- down from a peak of around 100,000 -- most of them deployed to train and advise Afghan counterparts.

President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
has said he wants America out of Afghanistan as soon as possible and his special envoy, Zalmay Khalilzad, is pushing for a peace deal that would see international forces pull out in return for various guarantees.

Armed Man Attacks ICE Detention Center
[FoxNews] Police in Washington state say an armed man was shot and killed early Saturday after trying to attack a local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center.

The Seattle Times reported that the unidentified man appeared outside of the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma with a rifle and threw incendiary devices at both the facility and nearby propane tanks, at one point setting a vehicle on fire.

Officers responded to the incident around 4 a.m. and called out to the man before shots were fired. It was not clear how many shots were fired or whether the man fired at police.

Police spokesman Loretta Cool said the officers weren't wearing body cameras, but the area is covered by surveillance cameras from the detention center. The four officers involved were placed on administrative leave in accordance with the department's policy. None of them were injured.

ICE said in a statement that no employees "were harmed nor involved in this tragic incident."

The shooting took place hours after a rally in front of the detention center to protest planned mass deportation raids around the country. The Tacoma facility, which is run by the Department of Homeland Security, holds migrants pending deportation proceedings. The detention center has also held immigration-seeking parents separated from their children under President Donald Trump's "zero tolerance" policy, an effort meant to deter illegal immigration.

GEO Group, which runs the 1,575-bed Northwest Detention Center, in an email to The Associated Press said baseless accusations about how detainees are treated at its facilities "have led to misplaced aggression and a dangerous environment for our employees, whose safety is our top priority. Violence of any kind against our employees and property will not be tolerated. We are thankful for the quick and brave action by the Tacoma Police Department, which prevented innocent lives from being endangered."

GEO Group said the detention center in Tacoma has modern amenities with air conditioning, recreational activities, a bed for every individual and medical care available at all hours.

Last year, a federal judge ruled that Washington state could pursue its lawsuit seeking to force GEO Group to pay minimum wage for work done by detainees at the detention center.

The planned raids come me at a time of intense scrutiny surrounding ICE and the treatment of migrants at detention centers. The administration's child separation policy was the subject of a contentious Congressional hearing Friday, during which former ICE director Tom Homan vehemently defended law enforcement amid criticism from Democratic politicians.

"As a 34-year veteran of law enforcement, it is shocking, shocking to see constant attacks against those that leave the safety and security of their homes every day, put on a Kevlar vest and put a gun on their hip and risk their own safety to defend this nation," he said, at times appearing to get choked up as he defended his former colleagues.

While President Trump and others have defended immigration authorities, some Democrats have called to either restrict federal funding for ICE or abolish the agency outright.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., for example, said on Thursday that she and her colleagues still supported defunding ICE. She and other freshmen, like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., tried blocking funding for ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in June, accusing authorities of "killing innocent children."

Police deployed for security of 4-year-old sexual assault victim at Pims
[DAWN] Security measures have been put in place at the Pakistain Institute of Medial Sciences (Pims) to protect the four-year-old girl who faced an attempt on her life after being sexually assaulted in Bhara Kahu a few days ago.
The Lil Vixen was asking for it...uncovered cat meat and all
The girl has been kept at the Children Hospital under observation since Tuesday.

Pims front man Dr Wasim Khawaja said on the request of the Pims administration, police teams had been deployed outside the room at the hospital to protect the victim and her family.

Besides, security staff members of the hospital are also assisting the police, he added.

About the reasons behind the security measures, Dr Khawaja said some people had been spotted acting suspiciously around the Children Hospital which raised an alarm regarding the security of the girl.

A senior police officer told Dawn that officials of Bhara Kahu police and Counter-Terrorism Force were deployed at the hospital for the security of the victim. Besides, the area police have been alerted to remain in touch with the police team at the hospital.

"As she can identify the culprit, chances of another attempt on her life cannot be ruled out," the officer added. Dr Khawaja said the victim had undergone CT scan besides being examined by a neurologist on Friday. The scanning of the body, including head and brain, and the neurologist examination suggested that she was recovering and her organs are working properly.

She is administered with oxygen on and off, he said, adding sometimes she was breathing normally and sometimes she needed oxygen.

Most of the water seen in her lungs has been retrieved and she is also recovering from pneumonia. The front man said the victim was taken out of a ventilator a day ago.

However,
a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package...
different medical tests are being conducted to closely monitor her health, he said, adding she was still unconscious.

She is recovering gradually but there is no encouraging movement in her body. She opens her eyes and moves hands rarely.

Ocasio-Cortez horrified by new detention facilities popping up everywhere
[Genesius Times] After being horrified by the ICE detention facility parking lot last year, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been stricken with PTSD as ICE facilities have popped up everywhere across the country.

"At the grocery store; at the hardware store. Trump is putting these ICE detention centers everywhere and it’s horrifying!" Ocasio-Cortez said in an interview.

Genesius Times investigators have found that the living conditions of these new ICE detention centers are atrocious with freezing temperatures and very little room.

"It’s inhumane. We need to release these immigrants into the general population!" Ocasio-Cortez added.

It is estimated that there are 1 million of these new ICE detention centers across the country.

"What kind of world do we live in that allows this type of thing?" Ocasio-Cortez added. "It’s like a big national concentration camp!"’

One immigrant was asked how he felt of the detention facility. He answered, "It’s a little run down, but it’s nice to be able to get ice on a hot day like today."

Europe
French 'Yellow Vests' Movement Dwindling but Not Dead, Analysts
[AnNahar] As protests dwindle -- just a few hundred demonstrators turned up in Gay Paree, Toulouse
...lies on the banks of the River Garonne, half-way between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The Toulouse metropolitan area is the fourth-largest in La Belle France...
and Bordeaux last Saturday -- the yellow vests are looking for new ways to voice their discontent with President Emmanuel Macron's government.

"The protest has lost its protesters," said Luc Rouban, research director at La Belle France's National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).

"It started as a movement which everyone could identify with, but from January, February, we started seeing professional protesters and murderous Moslems who were organised and violent," he said.

La Belle France's Interior Minister Christophe Castaner last month launched a review of police tactics after hordes of protesters were seriously injured in charges and by devices such as sting-ball grenades.

And insurance companies have dished out millions of euros in compensation to business owners whose stores were robbed or damaged during marches.

But public support for the yellow vests remains strong, said Bruno Jeanbart, deputy chief at the polling firm OpinionWay. In its latest survey in early July, 44 percent of French people said they supported the yellow vests.

"It's an incredibly high figure for a movement which has practically disappeared," he told AFP.

"When there are violent festivities in protests, public opinion generally turns against them. The yellow vests have largely managed to avoid that."

- 'FRUSTRATION HASN'T DISAPPEARED' -
The protesters' calls for reforms such as a hike in the minimum wage and more direct democracy resonate with many who see Macron -- an ex-banker -- as elitist and out-of-touch.

Particularly explosive could be a pension reform which would see "incentives" to work beyond the retirement age of 62.

And while Macron navigated the EU parliament elections earlier this year -- with his ruling party just about saving face in second place behind the far right National Rally -- he faces a long road to the 2022 presidential polls.

"Just because the protests have lost momentum, that doesn't mean the frustration has disappeared. The volcano is no longer erupting, but the magma is still there," Luc Rouban told AFP.

The remaining protesters are now working to tackle the lack of organization and leadership which has hampered the grassroots movement.

Around 600 activists from around the country gathered in the eastern town of Montceau-les-Mines last month to discuss the way forward -- their third such meeting. They are pushing for referendums and backing non-politician candidates to run in local elections.

"The government managed to cope with the protests because they turned violent, but if they think it's all over, they're wrong," said OpinionWay's Jeanbart.

"With the yellow vests, we knew something was going to happen but we didn't know what," he said.

"I think it will probably come back in a form we could never have imagined today."

#1  Well they're clueless idiots is what they are.

Any successful protest must have a clear cut, narrow goal, not a long list of lamentations against all agencies of govt, industry, education, everything ! Support from all quarters is one thing, but you clearly delineate your goals to everyone protesting with you, with no room for other interests. You fight for small victories (resignations, repeals, legislation, etc), learning your oppressor's weaknesses, creating new ones as you go, lobbying through those with means in your group and the small changes then aggregate into momentum for a bigger one.

Just charge outside yelling "Vive la révolution!" and all you get is a face full of baton.

#2  Amateurs don’t think of all that, generally speaking. Only recall the Tea Party effort here in the States in the early days, when they were protesting, some in costume, instead of finding sympathetic politicians to support.

Iraq
Turkey reinvigorates Operation Claw in Kurdistan Region against PKK
A cute little map of the region in question can be seen at the link.
[Rudaw] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...Qatar's colony in Asia Minor...
has begun its second wave of Operation Claw against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) guerillas in the Khakurk area south of Turkey’s border with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The first phase commenced in late-May.

"On the evening of July 12, a new operation named Claw 2 was launched with our Commando Brigades in the north of Iraq to destroy caves and shelters used by a terror organization. This is a follow-up on the successfully ongoing Claw 1 operation in the Hakurk [Khakurk] area which revealed new information on terrorist activity," read a statement from the Ottoman Turkish Ministry of Defense that was released on Saturday.

Ankara is branding the new offensive ’Operation Claw 2.’ Hakurk is in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, close to the borders with Turkey and Iran. It is located just north of Qandil, where the PKK is headquartered about 52 kilometers northeast of the regional capital city of Erbil.

"The operation continues as planned," it added, detailing Turkey is supporting it with Air Force planes, ground fire support vehicles, TAI/AgustaWestland (ATAK) attack helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The ministry has claimed it "neutralized" dozens of PKK fighters in the framework of Operation Claw, but the Kurdish group has refuted the figure.

Ankara uses the word neutralized to refer to those killed, maimed, or otherwise removed from the battlefield. The PKK has also claimed the lives of a number of Ottoman Turkish soldiers. The two figures rarely match.

On the 38th anniversary of the July 14 event in a Diyarbakir prison, the PKK announced "Halat Retaliation Year" on Saturday. It is a reference to the killing of senior PKK leader Diyar Ghareen, known as Halmat by his comrades, during Ottoman Turkish operations on July 5.

A group of Kurds were held in Diyarbakir prison after a 1980 military coup in Turkey. Abused in the jail, a group of the prisoners went on a hunger strike. The incident is commemorated by sympathizers remembered every year. A film about it called ’14 Temmuz’ (July 14) has sometimes been banned by the Ottoman Turkish state.

Firat News Agency (ANF), media affiliated with the PKK, published footage on Friday, purportedly showing Ottoman Turkish military bases and convoys being attacked by guerillas in different areas on the Ottoman Turkish side of the border with the Kurdistan Region.

The attacks took place on June 21 in Hakkari, on June 29 in Avasin, and on July 5 in Uludere, killing six soldiers, according to ANF.

The People's Defence Forces (HPG), the armed wing of the PKK, released photographs of two of its fighters who it claimed were killed in festivities with the Ottoman Turkish Army inside Turkey in mid-May. The HPG typically announces their deaths weeks or months later.

The Kurdistan Regional Government and Iraqi federal government repeatedly have called on gangs not to launch attacks against neighboring countries from within the country.

Kurdish groups opposed to the Iranian regime have also come under retaliatory attacks in recent days by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in areas just south of Hakurk and Qandil in recent days.

The population is half Pashtun, the remainder Tadjik and Pashai. It had a repution for great wealth until it was conquered in the tenth century by Abu Mansur Sabuktigin.
He conquered it and set fire to the places in its vicinity which were inhabited by infidels, and demolishing the idol-temples, he established Islam in them, He marched and captured other cities and killed the polluted wretches, destroying the idolatrous and gratifying the Musulmans. The Grand Turk
Russia delivers more air defense equipment to Turkey
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Russia flew a fresh shipment of advanced air defense equipment to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
on Saturday, the Ottoman Turkish Defense Ministry said, continuing to implement a deal that is likely to trigger US sanctions against a NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis....
ally.

The ministry said a fourth Russian cargo plane landed at the Murted air base near the Ottoman Turkish capital Ankara, a day after three huge Russian air force AN-124 planes offloaded equipment at the base.

Washington has tried for months to prevent the deal, arguing that the Russian S-400 air defense system is incompatible with NATO systems. It also says that if the S-400s are deployed near US F-35 jets, which Turkey is buying and helping to produce, they would undermine the stealth fighter planes’ defenses.

US officials had warned that Turkey would be thrown off the F-35 program if it took delivery of the S-400s, and would also face sanctions under US legislation seeking to prevent countries from buying military equipment from Russia.

Turkey says S-400 is a strategic defense requirement, above all to secure its southern borders with Syria and Iraq. It says that when it made the deal with Russia for the S-400s, the United States and Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
had not presented a viable alternative.

The dispute between the countries with the two largest armies in NATO marks a deep division in the Western military alliance, which was forged after World War Two to counter Moscow’s military power.

Reaction from Washington was limited on Friday, with acting Defense Secretary Mark Esper saying the US stance had not changed. Esper later spoke with Ottoman Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar.

"Minister Akar told his US counterpart that Turkey remains under a serious air and missile threat and that purchase of S-400 defense systems was not an option but rather a necessity," a Ottoman Turkish Defense Ministry statement said.

Investors in Turkey have been unsettled by the deal and the prospect of sanctions, a year after a dispute with Washington over the trial of a US pastor in Turkey contributed to a financial crisis which drove Turkey’s economy into recession.

He said the removal of accountability judge Arshad Malik was an admission of the judge’s weakness on part of the judiciary.

He said those detained by the NAB were political prisoners.

Regarding the opposition’s bid to remove the Senate chairman, the JUI-F chief said the opposition had majority in the Upper House of Parliament, so it had the right to move a no- confidence motion against the chairman.

Hafiz Saeed, aides move court against terror financing charges
[DAWN] Jamatud Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and his seven aides have approached the Lahore High Court challenging a case carrying charge of terror financing lodged by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) by ’wrongly’ showing them as members of the proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba
...the Army of the Pure, an Ahl-e-Hadith terror organization founded by Hafiz Saeed. Despite the fact that it is banned, always an interesting concept in Pakistain, the organization remains an blatant tool and perhaps an arm of the ISI...
(LeT).

In a joint petition filed through senior lawyer A.K Dogar, the JuD leaders submitted that the facts narrated in the impugned FIR lodged on July 1, 2019 illegally described them as members of the LeT and levelled unlawful allegation of terror financing.

The counsel referred to a 2009 judgment by a full bench of the LHC against the detention of Hafiz Saeed...founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba and its false-mustache offshoot Jamaat-ud-Dawa. The United Nations declared the JuD a terrorist organization in 2008 and Hafiz Saeed a terrorist as its leader. Hafiz, JuD and LeT are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Pak intel apparatus, so that amounted to squat...
at that time and stated that the petitioners were not members of the LeT.

He stated that the LHC through another judgment issued in 2003 had held that Saeed had left the leadership of LeT on Dec 24, 2001 while the organization was banned on Jan 14, 2002.

The lawyer pleaded that the claim of the government that the petitioners were the members of the LeT stood disapproved in the light of the two judgments. Therefore, he asked the court to quash the impugned FIR lodged by the CTD for being unlawful and of no legal effect.

The other petitioners include Muhammad Ayub Sheikh, Zafar Iqbal, Syed Luqman Ali Shah, Hafiz Abdul Rehman Makki, Abdul Salam, Abdul Ghaffar and Abdul Qudoos Shahid.

Chicago Mosque Holds Memorial Service for Morsi, Calls Israel ‘Head of the Snake’
So many connected known wolves!
[Spectator] Speakers at a recent memorial service held in a southern suburb of reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,...
for the late deposed president of Egypt, Mohammed Morsi, called his removal from power in 2013 a Western and Arab conspiracy to throttle democracy and oppose the establishment of Islamism in the Islamic world.

In a video that the mosque published on its official Facebook page, Paleostinian activists used the occasion to call for Israel’s destruction, saying that repressive Arab regimes could only fall by destroying Israel first and calling Israel "the head of the snake."

#3  United Muslim American Association formed by Rafiq Jabar in Illinois. Formed around the legalism exploiting tenets of the Shiite Hizb ut-Tahrir, the UMAA very original seeks to unite the islamists of the world in a unified cause to establish questions of shariat and recognize a Caliphate. Tahrir doctrine implies that the world's portions not recognizing sharia are living in jahilya(ignorance) and to spread its authority the muslims (both shia and sunni) would have to unitedly resist western and other forms of thinking. Jabar's UMAA was established by muslims and nominalchristians to further understanding between muslims and nominalchristians in the South West Suburbs of Chicago we all know who lives here.

His link with the Palestinian terror base, HAMAS was earlier exposed by the Jerusalem center for Public Affairs.

Islamic Association for Palestine was an organization that provided financial and
material support for Hamas in the United States.
One of the major interlocking and financial
connections between the Islamic Association
for Palestine and AMP is found in AMP’s
2013-2015 990 tax forms. Rafeeq Jaber, the
former president of the Islamic Association
for Palestine, prepared the taxes for AMP
via his organization Jaber Financial Services
from 2010-2015. Jaber’s official role with
AMP is unclear, as are the current activities of
Jaber Financial Services, which has little web
presence, but operates out of the same building
where the Islamic Association of Palestine was
located in Palos Hills, IL, before it was shut
down in 2004 by the State Department for
funding Hamas.
The exact funding sources for AMP have yet to be determined. However, it is
notable that Rafeeq Jaber, who headed the Islamic Association for Palestine, a nonprofit organization responsible for funding Hamas in the United States, has also been AMP’s tax preparer since 2010.

Thank the Israelis for this info.

#4  the first Ikhwan front was established in 1973 with the creation of the Islamic Association, later called IAP (Islamic Association for Palestine) the American wing of Hamas. Other sources have it that the IAP was founded by Musa Muhammad Abu Marzook in Dallas, Texas in 1981. With the creation of Hamas in 1988 it began the distribution of that organization's many publications. Marzook would later found the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, which served as a Hamas front. For years the IAP was administered by Rafiq Jaber a Ramallah Palestinian who immigrated to the United States in 1974. Jabar would later help found CAIR, the Saudi funded pro-Hamas organization. He also had a strong relationship with the Bridgeview Mosque of Bridgeview, Illinois, a notorious Ikhwan stronghold.
