Clintons booed at Billy Joel concert in New York City |
2019-07-14 |
[Washington Examiner] Bill and Hillary Clinton got booed at a Billy Joel concert in New York City after the singer gave them a shoutout. "I dedicate this next song to my good friends who are here tonight, Bill and Hillary Clinton," Joel said at the Thursday night concert as the crowd's initial cheers turned into boos as the duo's faces appeared on screen. The political partners have remained controversial in American politics with a Gallup poll from last fall showing Hillary's approval rating at only 36% and Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct from the 1990s being relitigated in light of the "#MeToo" movement. This week, Bill Clinton tried to distance himself from billionaire Jeffrey Epstein after the convicted sex offender was arrested again on charges of conspiracy and child sex trafficking. |

#8 I wonder what song Billy Joel dedicated to the Clintons? "Honesty" or "Why should I worry;" maybe "The longest time?" |
