JI Central Information Secretary Qaisar Sharif said that over 45,000 members of the party cast their votes to elect the new emir during the recent intra-party elections.
"Naeem received over 80% of the votes and become the sixth emir of the party," he added.
He would remain the party's chief till 2029, the party’s information secretary added.
As per the party’s constitution, elections are held regularly at all levels in the JI, Sharif said, adding, "JI does not belong to any individual or a [certain] family but to every member and worker".
Over 45,000 members of the JI countrywide elected the new emir via secret balloting, he added.
The JI information secretary said that the JI Majlis-e-Shura, however, had proposed three names for the post of the party chief to the party members.
JI incumbent Emir Sirajul Haq ...current head of the Pak Jamaat-e-Islami. Siraj was born in 1962 and entered politics shortly after that... is completing his second term as the party’s head on April 8 (Monday), he added.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, former president Arif Alvi and other politicians of the country congratulated Naeem on his election as the JI chief.

A sicko was busted this week for trying to rape a 21-year-old woman inside a Queens subway station in February, according to police.
Donovan Simmon, 19, was nabbed Tuesday afternoon and charged with attempted rape, unlawful imprisonment, assault and lewdness in connection to the terrifying Feb. 24 attack inside the 169th Street station in Jamaica, cops said.
The victim, who identified herself as Jamileth, told ABC 7 Eyewitness News that she was taking an F train home at around midnight after finishing her night shift cleaning offices when she rested her eyes while sitting in the subway car.
When she opened them, she saw a man staring at her, she told the news station.
Then when she tried to get off at 169th Street, the creep blocked the doors while performing a lewd act, the station reported.
But when Jamileth headed up the stairs to the mezzanine level, the creep was waiting for her there, she told the network in Spanish.
He followed her down a long passageway until they reached an area of the station blocked from public view and then launched at her, Jamileth said.
He knocked her down, dragged her behind a wall, punched her in the face multiple times and tried to remove her clothes, the terrified victim told the station.
Jamileth struggled to fend off her attacker and screamed for help.
Despite the assailant’s attempts to muffle her cries, a security guard inside the station heard Jamileth and raced over.
The guard came to the rescue and scared the would-be rapist away.
"Now, I’m always looking behind me," the 21-year-old victim named Jamileth said in the aftermath of the attack. "I can’t walk calmly. I always think that someone is following. I don’t know what to do. I feel terrible."
Jamileth, who migrated to the US from Ecuador just three months ago, was treated at the hospital for her injuries and has since switched to working a day shift.
Simmon has previous arrests for robbery, public lewdness and fare evasion, cops said.

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Six of the undocumented Democrat squatters who were arrested last week in the Bronx have been released without bail, sparking outrage and raising concerns about public safety in the neighborhood.
The eight squatters were apprehended on charges of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and acting in a manner injurious to a child. On the property, located next to a school, authorities found a seven-year-old child in the basement.
Hector Desousa-Villalta, who allegedly brandished a gun on the property, was released on supervised release by a Bronx Criminal Court judge, despite the district attorney's request for bail set at $150,000 cash or $450,000 bond. Subsequently, five more squatters were released after their arraignments, according to the New York Post.
Despite the severity of the charges, the six individuals were granted release without bail, with law enforcement failing to clarify why some men were being held and others were let go.
The lack of clarity surrounding the rationale behind some individuals' release while others remain in jug, despite facing identical charges, has added to the frustration. Neighbors, who had witnessed the troubling events unfold, expressed their frustration with the entire situation.
"The landlord wanted to evict them, but the NYPD told him no," one neighbor explained to the Post.
"Deport them!" a Spanish-speaking immigrant neighbor said about the illegal immigrants colonists squatting.
The controversy in New York comes as concerns regarding squatting have prompted legislative action elsewhere, notably in Florida, where Governor Ron DeSantis ...Republican governor of Florida, stone in the shoe of the Dems and their ilk, maybe one-day president... recently signed a law restricting so-called "Squatter's Rights."

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] The Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against the Utah Department of Corrections after a biological male inmate who identifies as a woman performed a self-castration in protest over the delay in "gender-affirming" care.
The unidentified prisoner was allegedly found to be suffering from gender dysphoria by prison doctors, though a formal diagnosis was not given until nine months later. Six months later, cross-sex hormones were prescribed. The complaint also alleges that the prison failed to accommodate the inmate's requests for "reasonable modifications" to some of its sex-based policies.
These "reasonable modifications" included: transfer to the women's cell block, requests to purchase female undergarments, clothes, and makeup, and requests to be pat searched by only female officers. These were all denied.
According to the DOJ, "because UDOC failed to provide her equal access to health care services and reasonable modifications for her gender dysphoria to enable her to live consistently with her gender identity (female), Complainant's distress over the incongruence between her gender identity and assigned sex worsened, leading her to perform self-surgery to remove her own testicles in May 2023."
The DOJ argued that UDOC "discriminated against" the inmate "on the basis of her disability," referring to the gender dysphoria.
"By not allowing me this opportunity to live my life as a woman, who I believe I am and have lived life for many years," the inmate wrote in an Americans with Disabilities Act request, "the prison is causing me such mental stress in the form of anxiety, depression..."
The DOJ argued that UDOC violated Title II of the ADA, and called on the prison system to provide individuals suffering from gender dysphoria with the appropriate services, including the ability to present as they wish. The agency also requested "compensatory damages" be paid to the now testicle-less prisoner.

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] A quarter of copper wire thefts in North America occur in Washington and Oregon, two states with massive homeless populations. The thefts take down telecommunication networks and put lives at risk.
According to KIRO 7, thieves are cutting cables from phone, cable, and internet providers to sell to local scrap yards for pennies on the dollar.
The outlet also reported that rural areas of Pierce and South King Counties have been suffering from vandals stealing copper from telephone wires.
Copper is at the highest price it has been in a year. Scrap yards will buy copper for approximately $1 to $1.50 a pound and drug addicts will steal and sell the material to fuel their habits.
Dan Chason, who runs vandalism and anti-theft efforts for Lumen, CenturyLink's parent company, told KIRO 7 that the thefts are putting hospitals and 911 systems at risk. He said, "We had a cut in Bremerton last week that took down the airport," adding that it also disrupted services "at the Mission Creek Correctional. It’s a prison. It took down their services. I mean, it doesn’t get more serious in that."
Since January 1, Lumen has had 69 cases of line cutting in Washington state, 36 percent of the cases in North America.
Chason told the outlet that brazen thieves "put a magnetic sign on their vehicle that says, you know, Joe’s cable service. They put on a hard hat, they put on a vest, and they put a cone in the road, and they go climb the pole and start cutting cable."

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] San Bernardino cops shot and killed a 17-year-old boy with mental health issues after he armed himself with a knife and locked himself inside a bathroom at a home his sisters were being fostered in.
Armed cops from San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department were seen rushing into the bathroom at a home in Victorville, southern California, where the teenager's sisters live in foster care, after he escaped from a mental health facility on Tuesday.
Video footage shared by the department showed cops shoved the teen, who has not been named, into the bathtub, screaming at him to get down and put his hands behind his back.
The video then abruptly cuts off, and police said he was shot and later pronounced dead in hospital.
Police said he had locked himself in a bathroom, and deputies tried to get him to come out for about a half hour, according to the sheriff.
But when the boy threatened to harm himself, deputies kicked down the door and tried to apprehend him.
Deputies pepper-sprayed him, and one deputy's hand was sliced by the knife.
The death came less than a month after San Bernardino deputies shot and killed 15-year-old Ryan Gainer.
The autistic boy had threatened family members at a home in Victorville and then chased a responding deputy with a garden hoe, the sheriff's department said.
San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus said Wednesday that in both cases, deputies were met with violence. He said parents need more access to mental health services for their troubled children, so that law enforcement isn't the only option in times of crisis.
'My record as sheriff for the last several years is I have championed having a better mental health system,' Dicus said.
'The corrections environment and our public environment have been challenged a number of times where the only mental health resource we have in our community is law enforcement, and that´s the only 24/7 resource that we have.'

[ZERO] It is likely that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will be throwing an elderly survivor of a communist concentration camp in federal prison for sitting in a wheelchair in the hallway of an abortion business and singing church hymns.
A bench trial at the Fred Thompson Federal Courthouse in Nashville this past week lasted just one day.
By the end of it on April 2, four Christians were convicted of a misdemeanor FACE Law violation. The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) law prohibits anyone from obstructing, intimidating, or interfering with a woman seeking an abortion.
They had been charged after singing hymns, praying, and persuading women not to abort their babies on March 5, 2021, at the now-defunct Carafem Health Center in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. The DOJ characterized the action as an illegal "blockade."
The abortion business closed after a change in Tennessee law, prohibiting abortion in most cases. It means the defendants are guilty of trying to stop what is now effectively outlawed in that state.
The four found guilty are Eva Zastrow, 25, of Michigan; James Zastrow, 27, of Missouri; Paul Place, 26, of Tennessee, and Eva Edl, 89, of South Carolina, who was in a wheelchair on the day of the incident.

Disproportionate drug use by certain protected classes of the demokrat political base cannot be reported negatively, so either it is somehow excused as systemic racism, or, in this case, simply ignored. Protecting innocent newborns is less important than avoiding criticism of pregnant black women using recreational drugs in total disregard for the lives of the children they carry.
[Mil.com] Air Force officials have submitted a legislative proposal to Congress that would sidestep governors in seven states and move Air National Guard units with space missions into the Space Force, angering National Guard supporters.
The National Guard Association of the United States, a Washington, D.C.-based lobbying organization that goes by NGAUS, said in a statement to Military.com that draft legislation approved March 15 by Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall seeks to "bypass the long-standing requirement in federal law for the Pentagon to obtain a governor's consent before transferring a National Guard unit to another branch of the military."
Any proposed legislation would ultimately need to be approved by Congress. The Air Force did not directly comment on the proposal prior to publication. Currently, there are approximately 1,000 Air National Guardsmen across 14 units operating space-related missions in Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, New York and Ohio, according to the association.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Brazen thieves stole $30 million in an audacious Easter Sunday burglary at a Los Angeles money storage facility in one of the largest cash heists in city history.
The raid on Sunday night was carried out under the cover of darkness at the cash vaults held at the GardaWorld facility in the Sylmar area of the San Fernando Valley, on the northeastern edge of LA, where cash from businesses across the region is handled and stored, cops said.
It is thought the gang broke in through a hatch on the roof and some how circumnavigated the security systems to access the vaults and escape without raising the alarm.

[NYPOST] Federal agents arrested three people during a Wednesday raid at the Bronx home of a group of gun-toting, drug-dealing migrant squatters — as immigration authorities moved to deport one of the crew previously busted at the troublesome house.
The Homeland Security raid came a day after The Post reported on the chaos the squatters brought with them when they took over the multifamily dwelling, ending with eight migrants colonists busted on gun and drug charges last week.
One of the men arrested Wednesday — Hector Desousa-Villalta, 24 — was featured on The Post’s front page after he allegedly flashed a pistol at someone on the property March 27, leading to a 911 call and the discovery of the squatter gang.
Two other people — Yoessy Pino Castillo, 20, and Yojairo Martinez, 42 — were also arrested by about a dozen federal agents Wednesday afternoon, law enforcement sources told The Post.
A spokesperson for the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency confirmed the raids, but wouldn’t give specific information.

The NYPD collared the group of squatters — who set up shop across the street from PS 56 on Hull Avenue in the borough’s Norwood section — after Desousa-Villalta pulled a 9 mm CZ pistol and pointed it at someone in an alley near the house, police said.
But a Bronx Criminal Court judge cut him loose alongside five others taken from the same house.
Only two — Javier Alborno and Miguel Vaamondes-Barrios — were held on bail after their hearings.
It remained unclear Wednesday why some were remanded and some were cut loose — even though they all were hit with the same charges.
Alborno was ordered held on $100,000 bail or $300,000 bond after police found him cradling a 9mm pistol under his arm and with several other firearms in an orange backpack in his possession, court papers said.
But Desousa-Villalta, who cops said also had a gun on him, was was cut loose on supervised release despite the district attorney’s request that Bowen set bail at $150,000 cash or $450,000 bond.
The evidence tying some of the other men arrested directly to the guns and drugs is stronger in some cases than others, according to a source familiar with the case.
For example, a Bronx prosecutor admitted in court that the DA’s office had no information linking Johan Cardenas Silva directly to the guns or cocaine found in the apartment, the source said. Silva was released.
A lawyer for Martinez said his client was sleeping inside a separate room in the three-bedroom apartment when the cops stormed in, the source said. Prosecutors admitted that they didn’t have evidence directly tying him to the drugs or guns either. Martinez was released as well.

The WCK stressed that its staff had come under attack "despite coordinating movements" with the IDF and traveling in a de-conflicted zone in two armored cars branded with the WCK logo and another vehicle.
Israel described the deadly strike as unintentional and apologized for the deadly strike, while vowing to probe the incident, at a time of an outpouring of anger from governments around the world.
But the UN and others say the way Israel has conducted the war puts relief providers and other civilians at grave risk.

"There’s been a deliberate and systematic assault on humanitarian aid efforts, including humanitarian aid workers," she said. "We’ve seen a systematic disregard for the de-confliction system."
’DEEP CRISIS’
Benjamin Gaudin, who leads the Middle East operations of Premiere Urgence Internationale, a La Belle France-based NGO, said his organization had no immediate plans to pull out, even though it was "very difficult" to continue to work in Gaza.
"This attack is catastrophic, not only for the World Central Kitchen, but also for the entire humanitarian community," said Gaudin.
Like other relief groups, Gaudin’s NGO has been seeking to closely coordinate their movements with Israel through a special "platform," but pointed to communications problems.
"So far it hasn’t guaranteed the safety of the organizations, because many incidents have occurred, despite this system being put in place," he said.
Egeland said the notification and coordination system with the IDF was "in deep crisis" and had to be rebooted.
The deadly attack "either shows that Israel has no control over its forces — that indiscriminately attack in Gaza — or that it has never communicated with its armed operations the notifications that it had promised to communicate," he said. "Both would be unforgivable."

After striking the group of four officers near Kochav Yair Junction, the suspect drove to the nearby Eliyahu Crossing — a West Bank checkpoint — where he attempted to stab the security forces on site, who shot up him, police said.
In addition to a 23-year-old seriously maimed officer who was taken to a nearby hospital, another cop, 46, was moderately injured and two were lightly maimed, medical authorities said.
The suspected terrorist was pronounced dead at the scene, police said, adding that they had determined that the attacker had acted alone. He was named as Waheb Sabita, a 26-year-old resident of the neighboring Arab Israeli town of Tira.

While such attacks are more common in the West Bank, the overnight incident joins several that have taken place within Israel proper in recent weeks.

The PLO, which has had observer status at the world body since 2012, has lobbied for years to gain full membership, which would amount to recognition of Paleostinian statehood.

A council committee of 15 members first assesses an application to see if it satisfies the requirements for UN membership. The application can then either be shelved or put forward for a formal vote in the Security Council. [Armed Forces Press] When LTG Steve Gilland took the reigns reins of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, since he is a former special operator, many grads were somewhat relieved, as they surmised he would be more true to West Point's history and legacy than LTG Williams, who infested the academy with Marxist ideology.
Now, many grads see in Gilland another senior officer betraying his oath and attempting to change West Point in keeping with the Biden agenda.
Recent minutes of the Board of Visitors of West Point's spring meeting show Gilland is moving to change the venerable 'honor code' to be 'aspirational' instead of sacrosanct.
How does this build character one might ask?
