BLUF:
[FOX] Tara Lee Rodas, a HHS whistleblower formerly with an inspector general's office, will talk about her volunteering at an emergency intake site in California to help the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) identify sponsors for minors who have come across the border.
"I thought I was going to help place children in loving homes. Instead, I discovered that children are being trafficked through a sophisticated network that begins with being recruited in their home country, smuggled to the U.S. border, and ends when ORR delivers a child to a sponsor – some sponsors are criminals and traffickers and members of Transnational Criminal Organizations. Some sponsors view children as commodities and assets to be used for earning income – this is why we are witnessing an explosion of labor trafficking," Rodas' written remarks show.

The humanitarian and moral consequences of combining a wealthy country, collapsed rule of law, no border, and children (and young women) are sickening.
The imbecilic moral narcissism of the churches and suburbs and the collapse of institutions produce outcomes that would horrify these small delicate minds, if they knew of them.

/\ Why can't we just be upfront about it and replace the outdated pyramid on the dollar bill with the Epstein mosque - “Novus ordo seclorum” (A New Order of the Ages).
MTG is exactly correct. They're all (in one way or another) a village of predators.

Think about it: Why would the government allow human trafficking, meth smuggling and fentanyl smuggling unless the Big Guy was getting his ten percent?

A middleman is kind of a flunky or bit participant. I think our government is more than a middleman. They are formulating and executing the crime. Cartel personnel are the flunkies.

We have progressed from judges legislating from the bench to prosecutors legislating from wherever they sit when they aren’t doing what the taxpayers pay them to do. They are paid more by Soros just like the Capone days. Progressive progress always looks like the fall of Rome.

In the last years of the Republic just before Caesar's assassination, Rome's political factions used huge street gangs to intimidate and control public policy and orations by opposing political voices. Since the Roman citizens were prohibited by law (Lex Julia) from carrying arms, the gangs increasingly suppressed opposition voices and had strong influence on how the common citizens voted.

[FoxNews] Climate warriors are waging war on the modern American diet with crackdowns on beef and dairy products, author Marc Morano said Monday, firing back at Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams after he announced an effort to push plant-based meals citywide.
"First, they came for your energy. Then they came for your gas-powered cars, your freedom of movement, your cheap flights. Now they're coming for your food," Morano, author of "The Great Reset: Global Elites and the Permanent Lockdown," said on "Fox News Tonight."
Last week, Adams and other city officials announced that they would begin cracking down on food production and consumption in an effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions and boost their climate agenda. The New York City Department of Environmental Protection released a so-called greenhouse gas inventory as part of the announcement, highlighting the carbon footprint of the city's main sectors including the food industry.
"We already know that a plant-powered diet is better for your physical and mental health,
...unless you are prone to anxiety and depression, in which case a diet rich in beef and fatty fish like salmon is recommended...
and I am living proof of that. But the reality is that thanks to this new inventory, we're finding out it is better for the planet," Adams said.
Adam's push is likely the first step in a more aggressive campaign to target beef products in New York, Morano warned, adding that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates' reported status as the largest individual farmland owner in the United States could help spread the initiative nationwide.
"They will be monitoring what you eat. What’s coming next are the restrictions," Morano said. "We are already seeing it globally with a net-zero commitment. They’re going after high-yield agriculture trying to collapse them. We saw the disaster in Sri Lanka. You also have Bill Gates… America's number one single farmland owner and his goal is to get us to eat his billions of dollars invested in lab-grown synthetic beef made from the stem cells of animals and literally put it in a steel vat and printed on a 3D printer. Not making that up. The fix is in."
[NATIONALREVIEW] Washington governor Jay Inslee signed three gun control bills on Tuesday, including a ban on AR-15s and dozens of other semiautomatic rifles, which goes into effect immediately.
In addition to the assault-weapons ban, a ten-day waiting period for all gun purchases will be instituted. There is also a measure to enable the state attorney general or private citizens to sue gun manufacturers and dealers under public-nuisance laws if they negligently allow their guns to be sold to minors or straw purchasers, the Seattle Times reported.
"These weapons of war, assault weapons, have no reason other than mass murder," Inslee said at the signing ceremony. "Their only purpose is to kill humans as rapidly as possible in large numbers."
House Bill 1240 bans the sale, transfer, distribution, manufacture, and importation of 62 gun models it defines as "assault weapons." The ban applies only to gun sales, not to guns people already own.
"The legislature finds and declares that gun violence is a threat to the public health and safety of Washingtonians. Assault weapons are civilian versions of weapons created for the military and are designed to kill humans quickly and efficiently," read the bill.
Washington is the 10th state to institute such a ban. New York, New Jersey, California, and Illinois have similar laws on the books.
Opponents of the gun-control package immediately reacted by filing a legal challenge against the assault-weapons ban. Plaintiffs include the Second Amendment Foundation, based in Bellevue, Washington.
"The State of Washington has criminalized one of the most common and important means by which its citizens can exercise their fundamental right to self-defense. By banning manufacturing, importation, distribution, and sale of common semiautomatic rifles, the State has barred law-abiding residents from legally acquiring common rifles and has deprived them of an effective means of self-defense and their fundamental individual right to keep and bear arms," read the legal filing.
House Bill 1143, which institutes a waiting period, also requires a permit to purchase firearms, prohibits firearm transfers prior to the completion of a background check, and requires proof that purchasers of guns have completed gun-safety training.
Senate Bill 5078, the third measure, is aimed at establishing rules for firearm industry members to prevent sales to minors or those who buy a gun for someone else who might not be allowed to — that is, straw purchasers. The bill enables public-nuisance suits, which some groups focused on protecting consumers say are being weaponized to accomplish liberal policy goals.
All three of the bills passed the Washington legislature on largely party line votes.

The entire West Coast isn't a steaming pile of escrement - just around major cities like LA, SF, Portland, Seattle - unfortunately they tend to dominate their respective states. Hence the movement for many Oregon counties to join Idaho...
Plus - I don't think Washington State has had a real election since they implemented mandatory mail-in balloting. Ever since then all major issues have gone left. Every. Single. One.

My AR isn't an assault weapon. It's great for coyote control. There was a mountain lion/cougar in my pasture last Friday. I won't kill it unless I absolutely have too. AR would do the job there, too. My .45 should be sufficient for a bear. The was a bear attack not too far from me. Inslee is a bugwit.

Yeah - that arrest of Tarrio just days before a 2018 confrontation in Portland by US Marshalls pretty much looks like a planned op in which Tarrio participated. We should not forget, destroying the Proud Boys was an early campaing promise made by Biden during the debates. This "verdict" will conclude that destruction.

As a long-time observer/consumer of the old Soviet media, it's stunning to see how western media has collapsed into the ridiculous propaganda cartoon it has become. And catastrophic for the real world, of course.

I guess this really backs Trump into a corner. I can’t see how, but the scary music in the soundtrack of this narrative is increasing in intensity so my nerves are now on edge. I guess I should nap in my cubicle during lunch.

#4 Just because the PB have been neutralized doesn't mean there isn't a groundswell of dissatisfaction amongst the public. People know the government lies a lot. Trust in science, medicine, and even local officials is at an all time low. More protests will occur. Hopefully the peaceful protests by the right are well attended.

That's's the thing, most were careful. Tarrio didn't start out as an informant to the best of my knowledge, but the rumblings did seem to start in around 2017-2018.

Tarrio didn't start out as an informant
For Rex Mundi from the Rantburg archives:
2021-01-28 -Short Attention Span Theater- Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio reportedly worked as an undercover informant
Admit it. You were as surprised as I was...
[NYPost] Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio previously worked as a “prolific” undercover informant for local and federal law enforcement — leading to the prosecution of more than a dozen people, according to a new report.
Tarrio, 36, began cooperating with authorities following his 2012 arrest on fraud charges in cases involving drugs, gambling and human smuggling, Reuters reported Wednesday.
Details of Tarrio’s secret work were lodged in a transcript from a 2014 court proceeding in Miami and obtained by the outlet.

Why subpoena the obvious? That’s like subpoenaing Vin Diesel to discover what role he is playing. They play the same role every time. Kerry is playing a preschool commie punk engaged in treason. He always does. He is as predictable as Banamsrama singing at a throwback festival.

[FoxNews] President Biden announced that he and Vice President Harris will seek re-election in a video released early Tuesday morning.
In the video titled "Freedom," President Biden echoed his 2020 campaign message of battling for the "soul of our nation," uniting the country, and supporting the middle class, his campaign said. The video opens with footage of the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol protest. "Fweedom"
"Freedom. Personal freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans. There’s nothing more important. Nothing more sacred," Biden, 80, said in the video. "That’s been the work of my first term: To fight for our Democracy. This shouldn’t be a red or blue issue."
He added: "This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for re-election. Because I know America. I know we are good and decent people. And I know we are still a country that believes in honesty and respect, and treating each other with dignity. That we’re a nation where we give hate no safe harbor. And we believe that everyone is equal, and that everyone should be given a fair shot to succeed in this country."
Today’s announcement includes details about his initial campaign leadership team, which includes Sens. Tammy Duckworth, Chris Coons, Reps. Lisa Blunt-Rochester, Jim Clyburn, Veronica Escobar, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg. They will all serve as national co-chairs for the campaign. The campaign also announced Campaign Manager Julie Chávez Rodríguez and Principal Deputy Campaign Manager Quentin Fulks in their respective roles.
Biden and Harris remain immensely unpopular, with Biden's approval ratings in the low 40s in most polls. His job performance rating currently stands at 44% approve vs. 56% disapprove, according to the latest Fox News national survey.
Fox News polls show the president’s approval rating hovers at a low point among several key voting groups, including women (43% now vs. 42% low), voters ages 45+ (41% vs. 39% low), suburban voters (41% vs. 39% low), rural voters (31% vs. 30% low) and Democrats (81% vs. 78% low) – Democratic men in particular (79% vs. 78% low).
He also scores lowly among suburban women with 41% approval.
"Biden’s numbers cratered in the Fall of 2021 after the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle and the onset of hyperinflation," said Republican pollster Daron Shaw, who conducts the Fox News poll with Democrat Chris Anderson, referencing the death of 13 Americans when Biden withdrew forces from Afghanistan. "Since then, his approval has barely moved, despite a midterm election, economic ups and downs, and several legislative policy rollouts."
[GEO.TV] White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has corrected her initial statement on whether President Biden plans to serve all eight years of his two terms if he is re-elected in 2024. Initially, Jean-Pierre evaded the question, saying that it was up to the President to decide. However, the man who has no enemies isn't anybody and has never done anything... Jean-Pierre later corrected her statement on Twitter, confirming that if re-elected, Biden would indeed serve both terms.
"Does the president plan to serve all eight years?" a news hound questioned.
"I'm just not going to get ahead of the president. That's something for him to decide. I'm just not going to get ahead of it, and there's a 2024 campaign and anything related to that, I would refer you to [the campaign]," Jean-Pierre replied.
Jean-Pierre's initial response came in the wake of Biden and Vice President Kámala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, now a senatrix from California former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful, and Joe Biden's wing nut... 's announcement that they would run for re-election. Speculation had mounted about Biden's age and whether he would step down after serving a single term.
Jean-Pierre later clarified her statement on Twitter in less than an hour later, saying, "As you know, we take following the law serious. So I wanted to be sure that I didn't go into 2023 more than is appropriate under the law. But I can confirm that if re-elected, [Biden] would serve all 8 years."
