#1 I had just learned the Pacific was having historically lows. Satellite sensors had recorded these lows for which they could not understand.

#5 BTW: Given the SCIENCE agrees that Volcanos cause disruptions in the Earth Climate patterns.

How many major Volcano eruptions did the Earth have in just 2022 that were in areas that would have effected the Ocean Temps?

PLUS, How many 2023 & Ocean Floor events also?

#6 cooler phase called La Niña, and has helped keep global temperatures in check.

So the naturally occurring cycle has helped keep climate change 'in check', except when the cycle went the other way.

I think I got it now.

#9 #6 cooler phase called La Niña, and has helped keep global temperatures in check...
It was some decades ago, but as I recall the change from Nino to Nina led to the demise of the extensive anchovy fishery along the Peruvian coast. Historicslly, the fluctuations seem episodic and unpredictable.

#10 Consider this Semi-Joking fact.

The Human Population Growth may be the problem.

The average human body typically radiates around 100W to 110W of heat. With Females radiating more heat at certain stages of life (☺) .

With a 8.029, Billion human population estimated as of 4-26-2023 @ 9:34 EST. That works out to about 802.9 Billion watts of heat emitted every living second.

In 1953 the population was about 2.677 Billion. Since 1953 (70 years ago) humans population alone is emitting 199.88% MORE heat. Could the human population, itself, be a major part of the issue?

Since LSD's seem to be the most heated on so many issues.
Should the LSD population be trimmed to protect the environment? ☺ Maybe setting Street Suicide Booths in SF, LA, NYC, Chicago, Portland and Seattle may be the solution.☺

#13 Considering we just came out of a longer and colder than usual La Nina, this isn't very surprising.

#14 Well San Diego was the "coolest" and wettest I've ever seen. Which, if I had lived for 450M years so far, *might* be statistically significant - but probably not.

But anyway it was more than double the annual rainfall average (which has been tracked since waaaay back in ..... early 20th century?

This entire climate thing is the, or among, top actual threat to freedom and prosperity. It already exacts a tremendous tax on societies indulging the lysenkoism. It's sort of amazing, and terrifying: this is 1,000 times more important than even the "big" issues discussed by political figures, and yet there is basically silence, on the adult/rational/scientific side (in the political sphere).

Abu - March was "coldest in 90 years" per the UT. My daily experience in a Kubota construction 4x without windows/doors seemed to confirm that
