I thought the point of a dash cam was to capture events on the road ahead in the event of an accident. They are required for that purpose to get car insurance in Russia, I have heard, and YouTube is loaded with videos taken by dashcams facing thru the windshield out over the hood of the car. What's the point of the guy dash camming himself while driving? Narcissist much? Wasn't particularly helpful for him in this instance.

The cattle could easily go lame from hoof problems, and possibly just lay down, before the farmer/rancher is suspicious of any problem (especially in larger herds where the cattle aren't physically reviewed every day).
Once a sick/injured cow is down, they many times just don't get back up.
