$13b. in hidden foreign funds linked to 300% antisemitism rise in US universities
[JPost] Approximately $13 billion in undisclosed foreign funds, a substantial portion from authoritarian regimes, has been linked to a staggering 300% rise in antisemitism at US universities, according to a new study, "The Corruption of the American Mind," which has brought to light this deeply troubling trend.

The meticulous research, spearheaded by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) and conducted by the National Council of Resistance® of Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
(NCRI), has found that over 100 American colleges and universities failed to report these significant contributions, in direct violation of legal requirements.

"Institutions of higher education...received billions of dollars from foreign donors that were not reported to the US Department of Education as required," the study highlights, shedding light on a severe lack of transparency.

The implications of these undisclosed funds are profound and far-reaching, the study reports. "Institutions receiving such undocumented money, campuses receiving undocumented funds, exhibited approximately twice as many campaigns to silence academics as those that did not...From 2015-2020 institutions that accepted money from Middle Eastern donors had on average 300% more antisemitic incidents than those institutions that did not".

This alarming statistic underlines the corrosive influence of such funding on the academic freedom and social environment of universities.

FREE SPEECH 'UNDER SIEGE'
Delving deeper, the study utilized a wide array of data sources, including the FBI’s crime database and the Anti-Defamation League, to conduct a multifaceted analysis of the situation. The findings paint a picture of an academic landscape where free speech and democratic norms are "under siege," and antisemitic sentiments are alarmingly on the rise.

The influx of undisclosed funds has not only led to a doubling of campaigns against free speech, but also significantly heightened the exposure of students to antisemitic and anti-Zionist rhetoric. The study notes, "Increased campaigns to punish scholars for their speech were associated with increased levels of such campaigns from both the Left and the Right."

Furthermore, a national survey of college students as part of the study revealed that those attending universities with undocumented funding reported experiencing more antisemitism, adding a personal dimension to the statistical findings. This direct impact on the educational environment raises serious concerns about the influence of foreign funds on the values and experiences at the heart of American higher education.

Leading the list of countries providing the highest levels of undocumented funding is Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
, contributing an astonishing $2.7 billion. This is followed by England, China, Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
, Bermuda, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Switzerland
...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell...
, India, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates. These contributions, particularly from countries with differing values and political agendas, have raised significant concerns about the influence of foreign funds on academic freedom and democratic values.

#4  Nov. 24, 2020, Stanford Daily. Concerns regarding Stanford’s funding from Chinese sources were raised in a report by the Department of Education investigating the underreporting of foreign money by U.S. universities. The report, published in October, reviews the compliance among U.S. universities with Section 117 of the Higher Education Act of 1965, which requires academic institutions to report foreign contracts and gifts over $250,000 each calendar year.
Investigations by the ED found that “many large and well-resourced institutions have aggressively pursued and accepted foreign money while failing to comply with Section 117 of the HEA,” according to the report. ... Stanford was among the 12 universities investigated by the ED under Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos since June 2019. The University “has reported over $64 million in unidentified, anonymous Chinese donations since May 2010 (when Stanford ceased reporting foreign donor names),” according to the report.

Sudan grapples with rising Cholera cases
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
’s Ministry of Health has reported a significant surge in cholera cases across the country, with a total of 3,359 cases, including 108 fatalities, recorded to date.

In response to the alarming rise in cholera infections, the Ministry of Health has initiated a large-scale vaccination campaign in two states, al-Gezira and Gedaref. The campaign is scheduled to run until November 25.

A Ministry of Health official informed Sudan Tribune that the Red Sea State has seen a concerning rise in cholera cases, with 145 confirmed infections and 6 deaths.

Concerns are also mounting over the potential spread of cholera in White Nile State, where the number of cases has reached 132, resulting in 8 deaths. Al Gezhira State, on the other hand, has recorded 993 cases, including 20 fatalities.

The Ministry of Health official acknowledged the challenges posed by the escalating cholera outbreak, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict and the lack of aid and medical supplies reaching conflict zones.

In mid-November, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the delivery of 2.2 million doses of cholera vaccines to Sudan through the Global Mechanism for the Elimination of Cholera.

Acting Minister of Health Haitham Mohammed Ibrahim expressed gratitude for the vaccine shipment, stating that it represents a crucial step in strengthening the country’s efforts to combat the disease.

According to the United Nations
...where theory meets practice and practice loses...
Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the cholera epidemic poses a significant threat to over 3 million people in Sudan. At least 1,600 suspected cases and 67 deaths have been reported thus far.

A Speech for the Ages: Bari Weiss' Battle Cry to Save the West
[SIGNAL] Bari Weiss, the former New York Times editorial writer, delivered a tour de force speech explaining the West’s current war of ideas and laying out what we must do to save our civilization.

Speaking at The Federalist Society’s annual National Lawyers Convention, Weiss spoke after receiving a prize named after Barbara K. Olsen, a victim of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. She perfectly encapsulated the "civilizational war" the West faces, a war that "too many had foolishly thought was over." She eloquently used the dual catastrophes of 9/11 and the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel to underscore the current war of ideas, conviction, and will.

Throughout her 38-minute speech, Weiss proved eloquent, poignant, and self-deprecating. She used humor to disarm and challenge the primarily conservative audience to look past the reality of her same-sex marriage and support for abortion to the stark truth that she, and millions like her, are allies with them in the more profound and deeper fight to save Western civilization as we know it.

She opened by noting that the attacks of Oct. 7 were not like "previous wars or battles Israel has fought in its 75-year history." It was a "genocidal pogrom," akin to the Nazi Holocaust, the European pogroms, or the Farhud, the 1941 massacre of Jews in Baghdad.

Comparisons between the 9/11 and Oct. 7 attacks are apt because, as she noted, "the spectacle and savagery were the point." Yet while the West responded with due horror to 9/11, Weiss lamented the West’s response to Oct. 7 as a "moral and spiritual catastrophe, revealing the rot permeating our civilization.

At the Sydney Opera House, protesters shouted "Gas the Jews." People celebrated "on the streets of Berlin, London, Toronto and New York." Black Lives Matter of Chicago created an image of the Hamas paragliders as a "symbol of freedom." Posters materialized on college campuses calling for "Israel to burn."

#3  What rings hollow is that she hasn't actually abandoned her own political views and progressive attitudes. She just sees a more immediate and existential enemy to them now emerging from the ranks of her former "allies" as their mask slips away. Now she wants to engage the right as allies, because the sweet ride that has been Western Civilization is teetering after decades of corrosion from people like her, and that suddenly is frightening.

#7  "Yet while the West responded with due horror to 9/11,"

The unduly horrific Western response to 9/11 showed the world that the West had turned into a finlandized, masochistic warped caricature of its former self.

There's no serious political commitment to Western self-defense.

No one, Muslim or not, fears and/or respects the West anymore.

Western deterrence is all but gone.

Israel would be well advised to heed these lessons and not to emulate the US&NATO post 9/11-

Mali: Niger's military leader makes first foreign visit to Bamako
[AFRICANEWS] The head of the military regime in Niger, General Abdourahamane Tiani, met with his counterpart leading the military junta in Mali, Assimi Goïta, in his first international visit since the coup in Niamey.

Mr. Tiani expressed gratitude to Mali for "the support and determination of the authorities and the Malian people to stand alongside the authorities and the people of Niger, regardless of the obstacles," during a press statement before leaving Mali for Burkina Faso
...The country in west Africa that they put where Upper Volta used to be. Its capital is Oogadooga, or something like that. Its president used to be Blaise Compaoré, who took office in 1987 and was chased out in 2014. Now it's the usual army officer type guy, Captain Ibrahim Traore, running things, who's just doing a bang-up job unless he's already been deposed...
.

Mali and Burkina Faso, both led by military leaders who came to power through coups in 2020 and 2022, quickly showed solidarity with the generals in Niamey after their takeover in late July. Together, they established the "Alliance des Etats du Sahel" (AES), which includes mutual assistance in case of threats to the illusory sovereignty and territorial integrity of the three states and strengthened economic ties.

The goal is to transform the Sahel region
... North Africa's answer to the Pak tribal areas...
from a "zone of insecurity" to a "zone of prosperity," stated Mr. Tiani.

Unified against international pressures advocating a return to democratic regimes, the three military regimes also stand united against jihadists whose attacks devastate their countries.

Acknowledging the Niger embargo situation, subject to political and economic sanctions from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), similar to Mali at one point, General Tiani thanked his Malian and Burkinabe neighbours who continue to trade with his country.

"It would appear that the objective of the embargo was to exert pressure on the authorities, but this does not take into account the fact that it is the people who suffer, and we are aware of that. That's why we are willing to exchange, to negotiate, but with people who are motivated by good intentions, with sincere people, with people who care about the African people," said Mr. Tiani.

The duration of the transition in Niger is yet to be determined, but General Tiani had announced shortly after taking power that it would not exceed three years. In Mali, the presidential election scheduled for early 2024 has been postponed to an indefinite date.

Fifth Column
Dark money fund poured millions of dollars into eco activist groups blocking highways, destroying famous art
[FoxNews] A fledgling dark money climate group poured millions of dollars last year into disruptive activist protests that blocked busy highways and destroyed famous artwork in cities across the world, according to tax filings obtained by Fox News Digital.

The Beverly Hills, California-based, Climate Emergency Fund (CEF) — which has been funded in large part by Hollywood actors and producers since it was founded in 2019 — raised $6.1 million in 2022, a 165% increase from the $2.3 million it raised in 2021, the tax filings showed. The sharp increase in funding led to CEF sending $5 million to left-wing protest groups, a 274% year-over-year increase.

"Climate Emergency Fund is proud to support some of the boldest, bravest climate activists in the world who are not just fighting but are winning," Margaret Klein Salamon, CEF's executive director, told Fox News Digital in a statement. "Throughout history, organized, passionate, and dedicated people have awakened the public's conscience to injustice and achieved change that was once considered impossible."

"That’s why the Climate Emergency Fund supports activist organizations that engage in non-violent protest and civil disobedience worldwide," she said. "We are experiencing global catastrophic climate events, and they are accelerating – from the months-long summer heat waves in Europe to record-low levels of Antarctic sea ice to ocean temperatures that topped 100 degrees off the coast of Florida."

In CEF's tax filings, the group stated that the activist organizations it supported last year "brought new life and vigor" to the climate movement. It further reported that its grantees trained more than 15,000 people, their protests included 47,000 people and their actions were covered by global media outlets 25,000 times.

The majority of CEF's 2022 grants, approximately $4 million, were sent overseas, with the most sizable slice being wired to U.K. climate activists. The largest beneficiary of CEF's funds appeared to be Just Stop Oil, a British activist group that has repeatedly made headlines for stopping traffic and disrupting public places across the U.K.

For example, members of Just Stop Oil made headlines late last year when they hurled tomato soup on a famous Vincent van Gogh painting at London's National Gallery. Days earlier, dozens of its members blocked emergency service vehicles, including an ambulance, from driving to their destination during a separate protest.

CEF sent an additional $800,000 to other global groups like the France-based Dernière Rénovation, the Canada-based Save Old Growth and the Italy-based Ultima Generazione, all of which staged disruptive protests in 2022.

In the U.S., CEF signed grants worth $1 million to domestic groups that have used similar tactics as Just Stop Oil and called for President Biden to declare a "climate emergency." The largest domestic grant appeared to be a $206,000 wire to the National Institute for Peer Support, which was earmarked for the group Extinction Rebellion.

While Biden has focused much of his presidency on combating climate change, he has yet to formally declare it a national emergency. A climate emergency declaration would enable Biden to bypass Congress and take a number of regulatory steps not normally authorized to the White House.

"The environmental activist left is not an organic movement," Daniel Turner, the founder and executive director of Power The Future, told Fox News Digital in an interview. "Their activism is well-thought-out and centrally planned, they have signs and T-shirts — someone is paying for all of that, it is orchestrated."

"You may find some young people who are enthusiastic about the cause, but a lot of their authenticity comes into question when you realize it's being paid for by people who don't want their fingerprints on the project themselves," Turner said. "Once you realize that it's not organic, that it is paid activism and paid indignation and paid anger, well, then you realize the whole thing is just an enormous farce."

According to the tax filing, CEF received more than 50 individual anonymous contributions worth thousands of dollars each. More than 10 were worth more than $100,000, with the largest contribution exceeding $1.2 million and two more exceeding $500,000 each.

Since it was created, the group has garnered contributions from high-profile Hollywood figures such as actors Jeremy Strong, Chelsea Handler and Thomas Middleditch, Walt Disney heir and filmmaker Abigail Disney, and director Adam McKay, who serves on the group's board. Democrat New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's political action committee, Courage to Change, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's nonprofit, Onward Together, have also donated tens of thousands of dollars to CEF.

Nonprofits aren't legally required to report the identities of their donors, allowing CEF's contributors to remain anonymous. However, in its annual report, CEF lists numerous donors, including Strong, Handler, Middleditch, Disney and McKay.

And, in addition to McKay, CEF's board of directors includes Aileen Getty, the granddaughter of the Getty Oil founder, and Rory Kennedy, the daughter of former U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.

Turkey plans evacuation of some wounded, sick Gazan children tomorrow
[GEO.TV] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
plans to evacuate some maimed or sick Gazook children and young people on Friday as part of its third round of evacuation, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Thursday.Speaking at Ankara's Esenboga airport, Koca said three sick Gazook children had been brought to Turkey on Thursday. He added that the children — a 2-year-old boy, as well as two girls aged 9 and 10 — would receive treatment in Turkey.

The third round of evacuations, consisting of a group of 50 people, has been delayed due to issues regarding permissions for their releases, the minister said, but added that those problems were now largely resolved and officials were working to complete the preparations.

"We expect the third evacuation to be tomorrow (Friday) and it will be an evacuation that will largely consist of children and young people," Koca told news hounds.

"There are less cancer patients (in the group), but it will be an evacuation that mostly consists of maimed children and young people," he said, adding that none of the people in the list of 50 were at death's door.

Christmas elf Calls to ‘Annihilate' Zionist ‘Dogs,' Accuses Israel of Fabricating Videos Like a ‘Hollywood Studio'
Isn't that kinda like the hot dog vendor "hate speech"?
Where's the arrest?

[Breitbart] Zionist “dogs” should be “annihilated,” according to an Islamic cleric in California who accused Israel of evildoing and fabricating videos “like a Hollywood studio,” as he expressed his longing for “the day that I get to listen to the last gasping breath of them hanging from the rope that Allah gave them to hang themselves.”

In a sermon delivered Friday at the Middle Ground Muslim Center in Upland, California, Imam Marc Manley lashed out at the “Zionists,” whom he accused of knowingly perpetrating “evil.”

“Do you think for one minute that these Zionists don’t know that what they are doing is evil? Of course they do,” he said. “It’s part of their whole national anthem to remind everybody on the face of the earth of how their parents and grandparents were slaughtered in death camps in Poland and in Germany.”

“Of course, they know it’s evil,” he added.

Noting the recent trend of young Americans exploring Islam, Manley stated that “every day people are taking their Shahada [profession of faith] because of the evil that the Zionists are doing to our brothers and sisters in Palestine and Gaza.”

“People are becoming Muslim because of it. Even the people who aren’t becoming Muslim are seeing the light,” he added.

Calling Israel “desperate” as a result, he accused the Jewish state of “literally” fabricating videos “like a Hollywood studio.”

“They are constantly fabricating videos and getting caught, fabricating and getting caught,” he stated.

The matter comes as more and more sermons and lectures containing radical rhetoric from Islamic leaders in America and the West come to light.

In October, a Colorado imam live-streamed a lecture for children that included a Quranic tale of Allah turning Jews into monkeys, as well as claims that Jews are predominantly deceptive and persistently “tricking us to trust them,” and it is ill-advised to “trust” or “do business” with them.

It also comes as more and more Western youth are reportedly turning to the Quran, often adopting radicalized views in the process.

Earlier in November, young TikTokers began promoting al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and his propaganda, as his “Letter to America” justifying the September 11 attacks went viral on the Chinese-owned social platform, with videos on the topic garnering millions of views.

During the public debate on the Israel-Hamas war, a new generation of those mostly born after September 11, 2001, or too young to recall the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil in U.S. history, were seen defending bin Laden for his opposition to America and its support for Israel.

Pakistan Army's top brass reaffirms unequivocal diplomatic, political support to Palestinians
[GEO.TV] The Pakistain Army's top brass has expressed unequivocal diplomatic, moral and political support to the people of Paleostine and reiterated the country's principled stance supporting the two-state solution, based on pre-1967 borders with Al Quds Al Sharif as the capital of Paleostine, the military's media affairs wing said in a statement.

Since the launch of Hamas
...always the voice of sweet reason...
-Israel war on October 7, nearly 15,000 Paleostinians — including 6,000 children — have bit the dust in Israeli forces’ barbaric attacks. Moreover, authorities in Tel Aviv claimed that 1,200 Israeli people, mainly civilians, have been killed and 240 others became hostages.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations statement (ISPR), the resolve was expressed at the 82nd Formation Commanders Conference held with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir in the chair at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Thursday. Corps commanders, principal staff officers and all formation commanders of the Pakistain Army were among the attendees of the meeting.

Addressing the huddle, the army chief expressed satisfaction over operational preparedness and high standards of training and morale maintained by formations to deal with the emerging threat paradigm.

The forum paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifices of deaders including officers and men of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies and Pak citizens, read the statement.

The participants were briefed on professional matters, national security challenges and measures being undertaken to counter traditional and non-traditional security threats.

The forum also took a holistic view of the ongoing counter-terrorism operations and resolved that all terrorists, their controllers and abettors, working on the behest of hostile forces to destabilise Pakistain will be dealt with the full might of the state.

IDF elite intel officer warned about Hamas attacks, ignored - report
[Jpost] A junior Israeli officer in the elite 8200 intelligence unit warned over Hamas's plan of a mass infiltration event and was ignored by her commanders, N12 reported on Thursday evening.

The officer claims to have warned for the past 12 months about a scenario that involves a mass intrusion event by Hamas, foreshadowing what occurred on October 7.

She turned to her commanders, but they did nothing. "You are imagining it," her commanders were quoted by N12 as telling her.

Last week, Channel 12's Weekend News program published new testimonies of female observers who served near the Gaza border.

In the testimonies of the observers, they tell how for months they warned repeatedly about changes they see in the field, which require special attention and raising red flags.

IDF OFFICER ON WARNINGS: I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THIS NONSENSE AGAIN
According to them, they told their commanders that there were training sessions, anomalies, and preparations near the border.

Among other things, they described how more and more people who had never visited this area suddenly come to it, how farmers who used to come day after day to work the fields suddenly don't come to the place and are replaced by others, and above all they recognize another feature, one that rang all the bells.

Those female observers felt that they were not being listened to and that what they were seeing was not being counted.

There were those who decided to alert one of the senior commanders in the sector, and this is the response they received from him: "I don't want to hear about this nonsense again. If you bother me with these things again, you will stand trial."

The IDF spokesman's response to the case: "These days, the IDF is working and fighting the murderous terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip. All commanders and soldiers are focused on this mission only, to complete the goals of the war. After the end of the war, a detailed and in-depth investigation will be conducted on the matter to clarify the details to the end."

#8  They'd better be REALLY nice 'glamping' tents for what Chicago is paying for them.

They've spent roughly $150 Million in just over a year, with more than 1/3rd of that as 'staffing costs' (of course), for Chicago's new residents within JUST the city itself. That for a total of 15,000 new colonists during that period, of which ChiTown is housing and caring for only about 8,300.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Sayyed Nasrallah Mulls with Iran's Amir Abdollahian Possible War Scenarios
[ENGLISH.ALMANAR.LB] Hezbollah Secretary General received Iranian Foreign Minister Houssein Amir Abdollahian, the Lebanese resistance movement announced on Thursday.

Sayyed Nasrallah discussed with the top Iranian diplomat latest developments in Paleostine, Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
and the region, Hezbollah’s Media Relations said in a statement.

The two men also tackled the "possible scenarios and the efforts exerted in a bid to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip," read the statement, carried by al-Manar.

The meeting touched upon the responsibilities shouldered by all sides in this historic and decisive stage for Paleostine, its sacred cause and the entire region," the statement added.

Amir Abdollahian was accompanied by his assistant Medhi Shoushtari and Deputy Iranian Ambassador Sayyed Samadi.

The top Iranian diplomat arrived in Lebanon earlier on Wednesday, in an official visit aimed at holding meeting with Lebanese and Paleostinian officials.
