Sudan general says army ready to face any enemy threat
[PULSE.NG] A top Sudanese general said Tuesday the armed forces were ready to face any threat to the country in the first such remarks in over five weeks of anti-government protests, state media reported.

"We confirm the readiness of our armed forces to respond to any conspiracies by the enemy," the official news agency SUNA quoted the army's Deputy Chief of Staff, General Essameddine Mubarak as saying.

He was addressing the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in Omdurman, the twin city of the capital Khartoum, both of which have been rocked by protests since December 19.

"The armed forces are committed to protect the country and its residents. The forces are aware of the enemy's threat," Mubarak said, without specifying the nature of the threats or who the enemies were.

Angry crowds have been taking to the streets since December to protest a government decision to triple the price of bread. But the demonstrations have grown into anti-government rallies calling on President Omar al-Bashir
Head of the National Congress Party. He came to power in 1989 when he, as a brigadier in the Sudanese army, led a group of officers in a bloodless military coup that ousted the government of Prime Minister Sadiq al-Mahdi and eventually appointed himself president-for-life. He has fallen out with his Islamic mentor, Hasan al-Turabi, tried to impose shariah on the Christian and animist south, resulting in its secessesion, and attempted to Arabize Darfur by unleashing the barbaric Janjaweed on it. Sudan's potential prosperity has been pissed away in warfare that has left as many as 400,000 people dead and 2.5 million displaced. Omar has been indicted for genocide by the International Criminal Court but nothing is expected to come of it.
to step down.

The veteran leader, who swept to power in an Islamist-backed coup in 1989, has rejected calls to step down, and blamed the violence on "infiltrators" among the demonstrators.

Officials say 30 people have died in protest-related violence since the demonstrations began, while rights groups say more than 40 people have been killed.

meanwhile announced its backing for Khartoum.

"The cabinet emphasised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's solidarity with the Republic of Sudan as it faces economic challenges," read the minutes of a cabinet session published by the state-run SPA news agency.

Alleged children of ISIS fighters to be returned to Tunisia
[ALMASDARNEWS] A delegation from the Tunisian government collected DNA from the alleged children of self-proclaimed Islamic State

(IS, formerly ISIS/ISIS) fighters in a bid to return them to their families in Tunisia, in the Libyan city of Misrata on Sunday.

Six children, who are currently living at a Red Islamic Thingy centre in the city, arrived there from Sirte where ISIS was defeated in 2016.

Since then, according to children’s supervisor Faisal Jalwal, 53 children of nine different nationalities have arrived at the Red Islamic Thingy centre.

"They were suffering psychological and physical diseases. During that period the Red Islamic Thingy performed many medical operations including bone and plastic surgeries," said Jalwal.

The date when the children might be taken to Tunisia is yet to be set as their origin has first to be confirmed.

Germany: 38,000 illegal immigrants caught by Federal Police
[DW] Figures seen by DW show how many people were caught by German Federal Police after they entered the country illegally between January and November 2018. The total number of illegal arrivals is probably higher.

More than 38,000 people were caught entering Germany illegally between January and November 2018, German Federal Police have told DW.

Over 28,000 people entered Germany by land, with most ‐ some 10,300 ‐ entering from Austria.

Most of the migrants were from Afghanistan, Nigeria, Iraq, Syria and Turkey.
By comparison, some 9,270 people arrived illegally at airports and more than 1,120 people at sea ports.

Most of the migrants colonists were from Afghanistan, Nigeria, Iraq, Syria and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund....
The figures were also higher for Austria because temporary border checks were most comprehensive along the German-Austria border, they added.

The next highest number of illegal crossings was registered at Germany's border with the Czech Republic (3,931), followed by Switzerland
...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell...
(3,724) and La Belle France (3,406).

FALL SINCE 2015
Some 14,000 people who entered Germany by land illegally in 2018 traveled on buses or trains, according to figures seen by the Rheinische Post newspaper.

The total number of registered illegal arrivals has been falling since the height of the European migration crisis in 2015, when Federal Police caught more than 217,000 people entering the country illegally.

That figure fell to nearly 112,000 in 2016 and again in 2017 to just over 50,000.

German politicians have squabbled repeatedly over the country's migration policy since German Chancellor Angela Merkel
...chancellor of Germany and the impetus behind Germany's remarkably ill-starred immigration program. Merkel used to be referred to by Germans as Mom. Now they make faces at her for inundating the country with Moslems ..
's decision to allow nearly a million refugees from North Africa and the Middle East enter the country in mid-2015.

Police checks of passengers' identity documents on buses and trains may end soon. The European Court of Justice has ruled that Germany's Schengen membership prohibits such controls.

Germany's Federal Administrative Court still needs to review the decision.

Roseanne Barr: ‘We Have Hamas in Congress'
Given that Hamas is the Gazan branch of the Muslim Brotherhood — though soon to take over the West Bank as well, if current efforts succeed — and CAIR, et al are the various projects of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S., Ms Barr’s mental shorthand is true.
[Breitbart] TEL AVIV ‐ Comedian Roseanne Barr claimed "We have Hamas in Congress" in reference to the congressional freshman class of 2019, which includes anti-Israel congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News in Tel Aviv on Monday evening, Barr said BDS has "infected" the Democratic Party.

Asked what she thought of the newly-installed outspoken BDS proponents Tlaib (D-MI) and Omar (D-MN), Barr said, "We have Hamas in Congress."

Both Tlaib and Omar have come under fire for invoking anti-Semitic tropes in relation to Israel. Tlaib, a Palestinian-American, seemingly deployed a "dual loyalty" canard when she accused proponents of anti-BDS legislation of "forgetting which country they represent," while Somali-American Omar once charged "evil" Israel with "hypnotizing the world."

Barr pooh-poohed recent remarks made by two top Jewish Democrats, Reps. Eliot Engel (D-NY) and Ted Deutch (D-FL), who maintained that the Democratic Party will remain steadfast in its support of Israel and that Omar and Tlaib are the only two people to express such views within the party.

"There's a lot more than that," she said.

"The Democratic Party will eventually move to [being] pro-BDS," Barr told Breitbart News.

According to the funnywoman, "BDS is another incarnation of Jew-hating" that has been going on for centuries.

#6  Ms Barr has supported Mr, Trump for a while. The premise of the reboot of her show was that she had voted for him in 2016, while some of her family had voted for Hillary, which in the past she has said was exactly her family situation going into election day, except the show didn’t mention that she grew up surrounded by the Holocaust survivors her grandparents had sponsored as immigrqnts after the war.

At the moment Ms Barr is on a tour of Israel to campaign against the BDS movement with her dear friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach (she does a weekly podcast with him on the Torah of each week). About Mr. Trump she said:

Jewish actress and comedian Roseanne Barr says she lost her eponymous TV show because people were looking to punish her for supporting US President Donald Trump.

In an interview broadcast Friday with Israel’s Hadashot TV news, Barr insisted she was not a racist and vowed that her detractors would not stop her.

“Absolutely,” she replied when asked if she was punished for supporting Trump. “And by people who hate him and who hated me because I supported him from day one when I went back to work,” she said.

Last year, Barr’s rebooted sitcom “Roseanne” was canceled after she likened former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to a cross between the Muslim Brotherhood and a “Planet of the Apes” actor.

Pakistan’s top court upholds Asia Bibi blasphemy acquittal
[FOXNEWS] Pakistain's Supreme Court upheld the acquittal of a Christian woman who was sentenced to death for blasphemy, ruling that she is now free to leave the country where she’s facing death threats.

Asia Bibi previously spent eight years on death row before being acquitted last October, now may leave Pakistain and join her daughters, who have fled to Canada where they have been given asylum.

The top court’s ruling came after radical Islamic parties filed a last-minute appeal of the acquittal following days of protests, The appeal tried to overturn the ruling and send Bibi back to prison where she would be executed for blasphemy.

Bibi’s lawyer, Saiful Malook, who had to flee the country over death threat, said the decision was a victory for Pakistain’s constitution and rule of law. The Supreme Court panel had "insisted on very strict proofs of blasphemy" and couldn’t find any in the case, he said.

Pakistain’s Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa said Bibi’s accusers were guilty of perjury and if the case hadn’t been so sensitive, they would have been placed in durance vile
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
for life. "The image of Islam we are showing to the world gives me much grief and sorrow," Khosa said.

Bibi, who is currently in hiding, reportedly said that she will be leaving the country for Canada, where her daughters are living.

"I am really gratefully to everybody, now after nine years it is confirmed that I am free and I will be going to hug my daughters," a friend quoted Bibi as saying.

Bibi was initially accused of insulting Islam’s prophet in 2009 after an argument broke out between her and fellow farmworkers who refused to drink from the same container as Bibi because she was a Christian and they were Moslem.

A number of radical holy mans were tossed in the clink
Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages!
following the protests in the aftermath of her acquittal as they were inciting violence against Bibi.

The Tehrik-e-Labbaik Party, led by radical holy man Khadim Hussain Rizvi, said Monday that they won’t accept any decision in favor of Bibi’s release and asked its followers to prepare for more mass protests.

‘Courtesy phone call’ adds to confusion in Sahiwal killings case
[DAWN] The Counter Terrorism Department has approached the Lahore police for the arrest of its "so-called official" shortly after the lawyer for the family of the Sahiwal firing victims claimed that he had received a threatening call from a senior officer of the CTD.

Lawyer Syed Shahbaz Bukhari, while talking to the media at his office here on Monday, claimed that the "caller" introduced himself as the CTD official and asked him to stand down from the matter. He also played the audio recording of the conversation before the media persons, declaring it a concrete evidence of the CTD’s involvement in hurling serious threats at him.

Mr Bukhari said he had also provided the audio recording of the "CTD officer" to the Joint Investigation Team headed by additional IG Police Ijaz Hussain Shah. He requested the JIT to make it part of the investigation as evidence to proceed against the officers according to the law.

However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
the matter took a surprise turn later in the day when the CTD investigated the issue and got data of the "caller" and traced him as a practicing medic Dr Hamayun Taimoor. The CTD also obtained his Computerised National Identity Card and the record of SIM he had used to make the audio call which was recorded by the lawyer. "Dr Taimoor is resident of Askari Complex of Cantonment Board Lahore and he has nothing to do with the CTD," says a senior CTD official.

Bill being drafted to declare enforced disappearance criminal offence: Mazari
[DAWN] Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari on Monday said her ministry has drafted a bill that amends the Pakistain Penal Code (PPC) to declare ’enforced disappearances’ a criminal offence.
So... there's no law in Pakistain against causing someone to disappear?
The draft has been prepared in consultation with all stakeholders and sent to the law ministry.

"We are committed to ensuring rule of law and protection of fundamental rights of our citizens guaranteed in the Constitution. Moreover, the ministry has constituted a committee, comprising ministers for interior, law and justice and human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
, to look into the procedural delays and flaws in the existing system of pardon and mercy petitions.

"In this regard, we have prepared reforms and the summary has been forwarded to the cabinet for consideration of proposals to shorten the procedure of mercy petition," Dr Mazari said.

Senate panel rejects JIT, demands govt form judicial commission to probe Sahiwal incident
[DAWN] The Senate Standing Committee on Interior on Tuesday 'rejected' a joint investigation team (JIT) formed to probe the Sahiwal incident, in which four people were killed by Counter Terrorism Department officials.

The committee made the decision after recording the testimony of the mother of Zeeshan ‐ one of the four people who were shot in the 'encounter' ‐ who said she had no confidence in the JIT's investigation.

"We are not satisfied with the JIT's investigation," she told the panel. "The police that are investigating [the incident] are the ones who committed the killings," she alleged, calling upon the prime minister to provide justice to the bereaved families.

"All we want is justice," she said.

PML-N Senator Javed Abbasi, who was also part of the panel, criticised the provincial ministers and accused them of lying about the Sahiwal incident. His remarks prompted a sharp reaction from PTI's Azam Swati, who said that it had been agreed that this incident will not be politicised. Abbasi, however, stuck to his statements. He also rejected the JIT and said: "Police are involved in the killings, they will not do justice."

"The committee rejected the JIT, Senate rejected the JIT, then what capacity is this JIT working in?" he asked, demanding that the government form a judicial commission to probe the matter.

He also pointed out that the ministers had changed their statements on the incident more than once.

The committee members collectively demanded that the government form a judicial commission. The panel also directed the interior secretary to investigate the changing statements of provincial ministers.

Zeeshan's mother, while recording her statement, also protested the "terrorist" label that Zeeshan had been slapped with.

"They killed my son and then they labelled him as a terrorist," she lamented.

The Senate panel, chaired by foreign interior minister Rehman Malik
Pak politician, Interior Minister under the Gilani government. Malik is a former Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) intelligence officer who rose to head the FIA during Benazir Bhutto's second tenure. Malik was tossed from his FIA job in 1998 after documenting the breath-taking corruption of the Sharif family. By unhappy coincidence Nawaz Sharif became PM at just that moment and Malik moved to London one step ahead of the button men. He had to give up the interior ministry job because he held dual Brit citizenship.
, assured her that justice will be done and said that they will not allow anyone to pressurise the families of the dear departed.

Malik condemned the incident, terming it a "assassination" and adding: "I will refer to those who were killed as deaders."

Zeeshan's mother said that her family had been living in the same house for the past 25 years. She told the panel that Zeeshan had studied computer sciences and was the "sole breadwinner of the family". He sold computers, taught in a school and gave lectures in a college as well, she said.

The dear departed's mother asked that even if the CTD had termed Zeeshan as a terrorist, why did they not arrest him alive.

"An Indian spy was also caught alive, why wasn't Zeeshan enjugged
Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw!
alive?" she demanded. She criticised the ministers for "calling Zeeshan a terrorist on television".

Abbas accepts Hamdallah’s resignation, asks government to stay on for transition
[IsraelTimes] PA president reportedly set to begin consultations to name new ministers from PLO, ending unity bid with Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,.

Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial...
accepted the resignation of his prime minister Tuesday, but asked the government to stay on until a new one is formed.

PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and his government tendered their resignations earlier Tuesday, marking the end of a failed unity bid with rival Hamas.

Abbas accepted the resignations but assigned Hamdallah and his fellow ministers the task of maintaining the PA government’s operations until the formation of a new one, the official PA news site Wafa reported.

The government’s decision to resign came two days after the Fatah Central Committee recommended the formation of a government made up of representatives of factions in the Paleostine Liberation Organization and independent personalities, leaving out Hamas, a terror group that is the de facto ruler of the Gazoo Strip.

Hamas front man Fawzi Barhoum condemned the government’s resignation on Tuesday, saying it was aimed at paving the way for the establishment of "a new separatist government" that serves Abbas and his Fatah party’s interests.

Abbas was set to begin consultations to form a government made up of PLO factions, with the goal of preparing for new legislative elections, Wafa reported. It is not clear who will be tapped as the next prime minister.

Abbas and other PA officials have recently pledged to hold new parliamentary elections in the coming six months, but how that would be possible in the Gazoo Strip is unclear. Hamas has controlled the coastal enclave since ousting the Fatah-dominated PA in 2007 from the territory.

Fatah Central Committee Member Azzam al-Ahmad said on Sunday that the Paleostinians planned to form a new government in response to Hamas not handing over the Gazoo Strip to the PA.

The Paleostinians formed the current PA government in 2014 with the support of Fatah and Hamas. Since its establishment, however, Abbas has carried out at least two cabinet reshuffles without Hamas’s consent.

Fatah and Hamas have been in disputes since 2007, when the terror group forcibly ousted the Fatah-dominated PA from Gazoo.

While the two rival parties have signed multiple agreements to advance reconciliation and bring Gazoo and the West Bank under one government, they have not implemented them.

Hamdallah, a former president of An-Najah University, where he was once an English professor, was expected to return to academic work, according to a Paleostinian official who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Iran attacks Israel in cybersphere ‘daily,’ Netanyahu charges
[Israel.times] PM hails Jewish state’s prowess, says it monitors and foils all of the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s attempts to penetrate its defenses.

Iranian hackers target Israel every day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu charged at a cybersecurity conference in Tel Aviv on Tuesday.

In his Tuesday speech, Netanyahu also hailed Israel’s cybersecurity experience and general technology prowess, saying they created diplomatic inroads for the nation.

"Every single county is talking to us about cyber," Netanyahu said.

"That does not mean we share with everyone," he added, but Israel has a policy to cooperate with governments and other organizations. "It is important to continue cooperation for defense."

Israel’s cyber industry is second only to that of the US, taking 20 percent of the overall venture-backed cyber investments worldwide, according to an analysis by PitchBook and the Start-Up Nation Central database.

Netanyahu singled out airlines as the most vulnerable, via ground control hacking or interference with systems in planes.

"Civil aviation requires the most immediate treatment for cyber defense," he said. "But it is one of hundreds."

Send us Bitcoin, cash-strapped Hamas pleads
[IsraelTimes] Amid financial isolation, terror group’s military wing says donations of digital currency will help ’support the resistance financially’.

Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",, which has fought three wars with Israel and faces financial isolation, called on supporters Tuesday to send funds via Bitcoin.

A front man for the Paleostinian terror group’s military wing sent out a message calling for support to be sent in the virtual currency.

"Support the resistance financially through the Bitcoin currency," it said, adding the exact mechanism would be announced later.

Hamas, which runs the Gazoo Strip and seeks to destroy Israel, is considered a terrorist organization by Israel, the United States, the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
and others.

It has faced financial woes in recent years as banks have sought to ensure they have no dealings with the organization.

The statement accused Israel of seeking to cut Hamas’s access to finance.

Hamas has also faced increasing financial pressure as the West Bank-based Paleostinian Authority has also cut off much of its funding to the Strip.

Hamas officials say its military wing receives significant support from Iran, although the routes through which these funds are transferred are opaque.

Bitcoin has faced criticism in the past over underground websites where people have used the currency to buy drugs and guns.

There was no immediate reply from Bitcoin.

Syrian Kurds reluctantly choose Assad over Erdogan: report
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Kurds, led by the Syrian Democratic Council, are currently in talks with Damascus to reach a political settlement and defend the country from a Ottoman Turkish invasion.

In a new interview with Bloomberg News, a bigwig from the Syrian Democratic Council said that they choose Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Before going into the family business Pencilneck was an eye doctor. If he'd stuck with it he'd have had a good practice by now...
over The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
’s Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey...
"It isn’t comfortable for us but what is the other option?" Ilham Ahmed of the Syrian Democratic Council told Bloomberg.

"If we were cornered into choosing between a Ottoman Turkish militia attacking our areas," and reaching an accord with President Bashir al-Assad, she said in an interview in Washington, "we would go with the regime."

Ahmed’s comments come at a time in which Turkey is threatening to invade the areas governed by the Syrian Democratic Council in northern and eastern Syria.

Furthermore, the Syrian Democratic Council recently presented an 11-point plan to Damascus in order to reach a political settlement.

A government source told al-Masdar News shortly after a meeting with the Syrian Democratic Council that there were still some issues with the 11-point plan, but that they were working on a solution.

Turkish-backed rebels prepare to fight one another in Afrin
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Ottoman Turkish-backed rebels are preparing to fight one another inside the Afrin region of Aleppo after tensions recently increased between the Jaish al-Islam
...Liwa al-Islam (Brigade of Islam) was established by Zahran Alloush, the son of Saudi-based religious scholar Abdullah Mohammed Alloush, after Syrian authorities released him from prison in mid-2011 where he had been serving time for his Salafist activism. The group claimed responsibility for carrying out the July 2012 Damascus bombing that killed Defense Minister Dawoud Rajiha, Deputy Defense Minister Asef Shawkat, and Assistant Vice President Hassan Turkmani. It was a driving force behind actions in the Damascus region. It cooperated and conducted joint operations with al-Nusra. In Sptember 2013 Saudi Arabia engineered Liwa al-Islam's merger with fifty other more or less Salafist groups as a counterweight to al-Nusra, which the Learned Elders of Islam considered was growing too powereful...
and Ahrar Sharqiyah factions.

According to local reports, both Ottoman Turkish-backed rebel groups have closed off the roads leading to Afrin’s city-center as all parties expect a fierce battle to breakout soon.

Ahrar Sharqiyah has caused a lot of problems inside Afrin over the last few months, prompting several groups to intervene in an effort to put an end to the corruption.

The Ottoman Turkish-backed rebels that make-up the Euphrates Shield forces captured the Afrin region in March 2018 after a nearly two-month-long operation.

Iran denies any intention of boosting range of missiles
[DAWN] Iran has "no intention of increasing the range" of its missiles, a senior defence official said on Tuesday, amid threats of European as well as United States sanctions over its ballistic programme.
And if you can't trust the government of Iran, who can you trust?
Iran has voluntarily limited the range of its missiles to 2,000 kilometres (1,250 miles), sufficient to reach Israel and Western bases in the Middle East.

But Washington and its allies have accused Tehran of pursuing enhanced missile capabilities that also threaten Europe.

"Iran has no technological or operational constraints to increasing the range of its military missiles," the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Admiral Ali Shamkhani said.

U.S. Says IS Still Has 'Thousands' of Fighters, Seeking Comeback
[AnNahar] The Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group maintains a force of thousands of fighters who pose a potent threat in the Middle East as its leaders continue to encourage attacks on the West, a top U.S. intelligence official said Tuesday.

The stark warning by Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats came even as acting Pentagon chief Patrick Shanahan announced that IS was poised to lose all its remaining holdout areas in Syria "within a couple of weeks" and the risk of terrorism had been "significantly mitigated."

Fresh anti-Israel protest roils LGBTQ conference
[IsraelTimes] Holding Paleostinian flags, activists spend 13 uninterrupted minutes on stage denouncing Zionism

Anti-Israel protesters took the stage unannounced at Creating Change, an LGBTQ conference that was the site of a raucous anti-Israel protest in 2016.

At the opening of this year’s conference, organized by the National LGBTQ Task Force, a group of activists holding Paleostinian flags took the stage and led a 13-minute protest for Paleostinian liberation and against Zionism. The speakers were not interrupted or asked to leave by the event organizers.

#4  The alphabet soup 'community' is a stern example to the normals out there, if only we would observe. Anybody remember the 70's and 80's? All that 'We need to be nice to them because ALL they want is to be left alone and play with their little friends'. Not entirely how it's turned out, now is it? It's not enough, yea NEVER enough to tolerate, you must celebrate and now even promote.

At some point there will be a reckoning, God pray it doesn't over step as grotesquely as the degenerate excess we have now.
