Afghanistan
Department of Defense Briefing for Foreign Journalists - November 4, 2015
We continue though in Afghanistan, even though our primary missions is train, advise, and assist, we've actually retained a U.S.-only - this is actually not coalition, but it's a U.S.-only unilateral role of being able to conduct counterterrorism missions in Afghanistan primarily against al-Qaida and its remnants, but ISIS would be fair game as well.

What we're not doing counterterrorism operations against is the Taliban. We don't - we actually view the Taliban as being an important partner in a peaceful Afghan-led reconciliation process. We are not actively targeting the Taliban.
0bama has completely lost contact with reality; those rose colored glasses have become opaque.

Taliban Splinter Group Ready For Peace Talks
[Tolo News] An Afghan Taliban splinter group, which refuses Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor as successor of late Mullah Omar
... a minor Pashtun commander in the war against the Soviets who made good as leader of the Taliban. As ruler of Afghanistan, he took the title Leader of the Faithful. The imposition of Pashtunkhwa on the nation institutionalized ignorance and brutality in a country already notable for its own fair share of ignorance and brutality...
, says they are ready to talk peace with the Afghan government.

The dissident group's deputy chief Mullah Abdul Manan told BBC on Saturday that if the foreign forces completely desert Afghanistan, the group will be ready to talk peace with the Afghan government.

The group, which recently elected Mullah Mohammad Rassoul as their new leader in the western Ghor province, says they have no problem with the Afghan government.

Mansoor -- who some Taliban's Quetta Council members claimed was appointed by Pakistain's ISI -- was elected as the new leader in August after the group confirmed that Mullah Omar had died two years ago.

However many commanders within the movement accused Mansoor of hiding the news since April 2013 -- causing a deep division in the insurgency.

However Mullah Manan claimed that Mullah Mansoor besides killing the group's supreme leader has also imprisoned and tortured several other high-ranking members of the movement.

He accused Mansoor of hijacking the so-called Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

In addition, Manan criticized the movement's political office in Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates...
, which he said, have had several secret deals with America.

However this is believed to be the first public and official division of the group.

The dissident's new leader Mullah Rasool served under Taliban rule as governor for Nimroz and Farah provinces before the regime was ousted in 2001.

Mullah Rasool has appointed four commanders of the group as his deputies.

Abdul Manan Niazi, Mansoor Dadullah and Shir Mohammad Akhundzada appointed as deputies on military affairs and Mullah Baz Mohammad Haris for political affairs.

Frozi Bribed Officials For Housing Project: MP
[Tolo News] Referring to a housing scheme contract with one of the main criminals of Kabul
...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the World and didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either....
Bank which was later cancelled by President Ashraf Ghani
...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money. ..
, a member of Parliament claimed on Sunday that senior government officials were bribed by Khalilullah Frozi in order to get the project.

"Khalilullah Frozi has been involved in frauds and bribery in the past and this time once again he bribed the officials," MP Naqibullah Faiq said.

After mounting criticism of government over a controversial housing scheme project, President Ashraf Ghani on Saturday issued a decree invalidating the contract recently signed with Frozi, a bankrupt debtor of Kabul Bank.

Frozi was freed from prison last week on Wednesday to take part in the inaugural of "Smart City Township" project he signed with the Ministry of Urban Development.

At the inaugural ceremony of the project worth $900 million USD, the government officials said the program was aimed at helping the debtors to become able to repay their obligations.

However after serious pressures on the government, Ghani eventually decreed the cancelation of the contract.

But the legal experts and a number of MPs raised questions on how the government can give a project to a criminal.

The legal experts call the move unlawful and a violation of Criminal Law of Afghanistan.

"It's a distressing issue and the problem is that there is lack of knowledge of law," legal expert Nasrullah Stanekzai. "The article 113 of the Criminal Law doesn't allow such a thing happen."

However after the cancellation of the contract, Ghani ordered a thorough investigation of the contract signed with Frozi -- who was sentenced to 10 years in jail in a court verdict last November. He was found guilty in embezzlement of over $900 million in cash and assets of Kabul Bank -- collapsed in 2010.

Pentagon spokesman misspoke to refer to Taliban as 'partner'
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The United States embassy in Kabul
...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the World and didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either....
says that the Department of Defense official misspoke in referring to the Taliban as a "partner" in a Wednesday evening news briefing.
Five of our recently released GITMO 'partners' pictured here.
"They most certainly are not. Our position has not changed. The United States continues to support an Afghan-led political process by which all Afghan opposition groups, including the Taliban, enter a political dialogue so that Afghans can talk to other Afghans about the future of their country and to eventually resolve the conflict in Afghanistan," states a statement released by the embassy on Sunday.

"The Taliban have a choice. They can accept the Government of Afghanistan's invitation to engage in a grinding of the peace processor and ultimately become part of the legitimate political system of a sovereign, united Afghanistan, supported by the international community. Or, they can choose to continue fighting fellow Afghans and destabilizing their own country. "

The statement further states that the United States and the international community support any outcome of this political process in which the Taliban and other armed Afghan opposition groups pledge to end violence, break associations with international terrorism, and accept the Afghanistan constitution and its protections for women and minorities.

British jihadis may have been part of Sinai plane bombing
[IsraelTimes] UK intelligence overhears London, Birmingham accents among Islamic State fighters celebrating Metrojet crash

British intelligence agency overheard UK accents among Sinai Peninsula jihadists who were celebrating the downing of a Russian airliner that killed all 224 passengers and crew aboard.

The overheard accents imply "a definite and strong link" between British jihadis and the crash of the A321 airliner belonging to the Metrojet airline shortly after it took off from Sharm el-Sheikh airport on October 31, the British newspaper Sunday Express reported Sunday.

GCHQ, the British secret service comparable to America's NSA and responsible for signals intelligence, picked up "chatter" by Sinai- and Egypt-based fighters with the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
affiliate in the country that included English-speakers with accents hailing from UK cities London and Birmingham.

UK intelligence believes the British-born Islamists may have been a key part in planning what they describe as a sophisticated operation to plant a bomb on the plane, which carried mostly Russian tourists.

The very fact that the British-born fighters were present in the ranks of Sinai's IS affiliate, which before swearing allegiance to the Iraq- and Syria-based group was known as Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis
...Supporters of Jerusalem, the current pen name of al-Qaeda in the Sinai Peninsula...
, suggests there is more to its declared allegiance than mere rhetoric. The jihadists were said to have been trained in bomb-making in Syria, and British intelligence services fear their next target may be British airliners.

"Jihadis in the Sinai area of Egypt could be heard celebrating," a source told Sunday Express on Saturday.

"A closer analysis of that material has identified London and Birmingham accents among those numerous voices. There has also been some internet traffic suggesting that there was British involvement in the attack. This was a very sophisticated, carefully planned operation involving many moving parts," the source said.

ccording to sources cited by the paper, "We know there are British jihadis in Egypt fighting with members of Islamic State. They were trained in Syria and are now hardened terrorists. Some of the Britons have an electronics background and have been developing some very sophisticated bombs. They have been experimenting with different-sized charges and different types of explosives but there was nothing prior to this attack to suggest that they were going after airlines."

The attack on a Russian airliner may have been linked to Russia's launch last month of an aerial bombardment campaign in Syria in defense of embattled strongman Bashir al-Assad, attacks that have targeted positions of the Islamic State group, among other rebels.

Nearly 2,000 British vacationers who were stranded in the Sharm el-Sheikh resort after the attack boarded planes home Saturday.

Britannia also suspended flights to the Red Sea resort on Wednesday, saying it feared a bomb like the one that likely brought down the Russian jet, and due to concerns about security at the airport.

Nine flights carrying 1,945 people were coming back to Britannia on Saturday, according to transport officials -- two easyJet, two Monarch, two Thomson, two Thomas Cook and one British Airways.

But the British government warned that some tourists may have to stay on longer in the resort before they can be flown home.

"With a limited number of flights able to leave Sharm el-Sheikh each day for the UK, it is likely that tour operators or airlines will advise some people to extend their stay at their resort," a government front man said.

"We understand that tour operators and airlines are working to ensure that, where people need to extend their stay at their resort, necessary costs will be covered."

There were estimated to be as many as 20,000 Britons in Sharm el-Sheikh when the jet crashed on October 31, and the repatriation process could take days.

Russia to Send 44 Planes to Egypt to Repatriate Tourists
[Tolo News] Russia will on Saturday send 44 planes to repatriate its nationals from two Egyptian Red Sea resorts, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency said as suspicions grow that a bomb caused last weekend's plane crash.

Moscow has said a total of 78,000 of its nationals are currently on holiday in Egypt.

"For security reasons, only hand baggage will be allowed on board," while cabin baggage will be transported by the Russian emergency situations ministry, it said.

"Two Ilyushin-76 planes should take off today for Egypt to transport the Russian tourists' bags," the ministry said Saturday.

"The return of the tourists will be carried out in accordance with their planned stay in Egypt and the dates on their (homeward bound) plane tickets," it said.

Irina Tyurina, a spokeswoman for the Russian Union of the Tourism Industry, had earlier told AFP earlier that Russian holidaymakers would not be required to return home if they did not want to.

The air transport agency said nine planes left Hurghada and four left Sharm el-Sheikh for Russia earlier on Saturday, adding that all were regular commercial or charter flights.

The number of Russian tourists travelling abroad has gone down significantly because of a plunge in the value of the ruble on the back of falling oil prices and Western sanctions over the Ukraine crisis.

But affordable destinations such as Egypt are still popular with Russian holidaymakers, especially during school holidays.

Russia halted flights to Egypt after dismissing growing evidence that the plane might have been bombed by jihadists in an apparent act of Dire Revenge for Moscow's bombing campaign in Syria.

President Vladimir Putin
...Second and fourth President and sixth of the Russian Federation and the first to remain sober. Putin is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from polonium poisoning. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to Putin. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead...
's front man insisted the decision to suspend flights did not mean that Moscow believed the crash was caused by a deliberate attack.

Political analyst Stanislav Belkovsky said on Russian radio: "Putin understands that this is a terror attack, an attack which is a direct consequence of the military adventure in Syria which could not and cannot be justified from the point of view of Russia's national interests."

Summing up what the Kremlin was likely thinking, he added: "But on the other hand, let's pretend that this is not true."

Consequences: Nordic Welcome Chillier for Migrants as Numbers Snowball
[AnNahar] Asylum seekers flowing to Scandinavia are finding chillier welcomes as their numbers surge and far-right parties increasingly assert their influence on immigration policy, analysts say.

Denmark, Norway and Finland -- but also Sweden, heretofore especially welcoming to migrants -- have begun cutting back the benefits they offer to newcomers while also hardening their asylum policies.

"It seems there's a certain amount of competition aimed at not offering the most generous social benefits to asylum seekers," said Asle Toje, a Norwegian international relations expert.

Denmark's immigration policy has grown tighter since 2001, when the far-right Danish People's Party began influencing policy-making.

In July, soon after elections made the DPP the country's second-largest party, Denmark moved to slash benefits to asylum seekers in a bid to reduce the influx.

Under the new rules, which came into effect in September, a recently arrived immigrant without children now receives 5,945 kroner (797 euros/$897) per month, compared with the 10,849 kroner they got previously.

The move seems to have had the desired effect, since the number of asylum seekers declined in September from a year earlier while setting records elsewhere in Europe.

Syrians, Afghans and Eritrea
...is run by the People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), with about the amounts of democracy and justice you'd expect from a party with that name. National elections have been periodically scheduled and cancelled; none have ever been held in the country. The president, Isaias Afewerki, has been in office since independence in 1993 and will probably die there of old age...
ns are still arriving en masse in Denmark, but they generally move on to destinations considered more hospitable.

"Many of them say that the conditions are better for them in other countries, perhaps Sweden, and so they go there," said DPP leader Kristian Thulesen Dahl.

The DPP, an indispensable ally of Denmark's minority liberal government, is doing all it can to make the country less attractive to refugees.

Norway and Finland, both led by governments with anti-immigration elements, are similarly moving to cut back social services and toughen conditions for uniting families and granting citizenship or permanent residency.

"It's clear that the Nordic countries have generous welfare states, but we must ask ourselves if we should share them with those who come in," said Sweden's justice secretary of state, Joran Kallmyr, of the right-wing populist Progress Party.

Norway, an island of prosperity thanks to its hydrocarbons, is becoming unsure of preserving its comfortable lifestyle as oil prices decrease.

Even ultra-liberal Sweden, despite taking in more asylum seekers per capita than any other EU state -- expecting around 190,000 this year for a population of under 10 million -- has decided to tone down its image of generosity.

In line with the rise of the far-right Sweden Democrats party, the kingdom is now demanding that its European partners share more of the burden, and it plans to harden conditions for reuniting families.

Sweden's "Social Democrats are worried about losing voters to the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats, who were capitalizing on people's fears over mass migration to Sweden," said Magnus Hagevi, political scientist at Linnea University.

"Already we've witnessed a rash of arson attacks on migrant facilities across Sweden -- people are also worried about the price of immigration. Many people are worried about what the future will bring and how that will affect the welfare state," he said.

Again on Saturday, a planned refugee shelter was burned down in Sweden, the latest in a string of suspected arson cases targeting a huge influx of migrants.

The Nordic countries are also trying to use the media to help them stop the flow at its source.

In September, Denmark took out advertisements in the Lebanese press warning about new asylum regulations in the hope of discouraging Syrian refugees.

Norway and Finland have tried to get the message across on Facebook, where the bulk of migrants turn to compare possible destinations.

"Human traffickers spread rumors on social networks to sell trips by making people believe they should leave for Europe now because the borders are open," Kallmyr said. "We should correct these rumors... and spell out what awaits them -- less aid, difficulty reuniting families and lots of rejected requests."

Toje had a more nuanced view.

"Refugees are not coming here mainly to take advantage of the welfare state," he said. "They are fleeing countries where there is war, conflict and hardship. So even if we reduce services, I don't think that will necessarily lessen the number of asylum seekers."

Really? But why not reduce the amount, since you have a finite number of money trees? Ya wanna show your compassion? Give them 'three hots and a cot' until they pull themselves out of dependency. Or is that not "Progressive"?

Come to think of it - the US encourages the (progressive) culture of dependency, too.

Tunisian Terrorist 'Returns To Europe Posing As Asylum-Seeker'
Unexpectedly.
A convicted terrorist released from prison last year travelled to Europe on a migrant boat posing as an asylum seeker, reports have claimed.

Mehdi Ben Nasr, 38, was incarcerated
Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages!
in 2008 in Novellara, northern Italia, and sentenced to seven years in prison after he was found to be the head of a terrorist cell with links to al-Qaeda. He was then extradited to his native Tunisia.

But last month Ben Nasr returned to Europe on a boat that set sail from Libya and arrived in Lampedusa, a tiny Italian island in the Mediterranean, according to La Repubblica.

Calling himself Mohammed Ben Sar, he claimed to be an asylum-seeker and said he wanted to travel to northern Europe, where he had relatives.

However,
you can observe a lot just by watching...
after police became suspicious about his identity, a squad of officers from Agrigento, Sicily detained Ben Nasr and three others, believed to be traffickers who organised the journey from Libya.

Ben Nasr insisted for three days that he was seeking asylum from his country for political reasons, before his real identity was exposed using fingerprint records.

The Tunisian, who has since been sent back to his country, is considered one of the most dangerous turbans known to the Italian security services due to his role in the recruitment of would-be jihadists and sending them to Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sindh govt to send eight cases to military courts
[DAWN] The authorities in Sindh have decided to send to military courts eight cases against nine suspected gunnies who are awaiting trial in various courts. Among the cases is one pertaining to a kaboom in June 2013 on the convoy of Justice Maqbool Baqar, who was then a judge of the Sindh High Court and currently is a judge of the Supreme Court.

The Sindh High Court (SHC) through a letter of Nov 6 informed the additional chief secretary of the home department that a list of the cases was placed before the acting chief justice and he accepted the request to transfer the cases and custody of the accused to military courts.

Five of the eight cases are pending in anti-terrorism courts in Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...
and Sukkur and three in sessions courts of south and west districts of Karachi.

The SHC has directed the judges of the trial courts to transfer original files of the cases to military courts after retaining their attested copies.

The provincial authorities had sent dozens of cases to the federal government for approval for trial in military courts and the latter sanctioned eight cases.

The military courts were established after parliament passed in January the 21st Amendment and amendments to the Pakistain Army Act, 1952, following the massacre in the Army Public School in Beautiful Downtown Peshawar
...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province), administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar has evolved into one of Pakistan's most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities, which means lots of gunfire.
in December last year. Later, the Supreme Court endorsed the establishment of military courts.

Accused nominated in the cases are: Masoom Bila, Mohammad Muavia, Yasir Irfat, Mohammad Qasim Toori, Danish alias Talha, Abid Ali, Mohammad Asif alias Abdullah alias Hanzullah and Saadat Hussain and Yaseen alias Hakeem, all said to be belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi

They are currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of al-Qaeda ...
Masoom, Muavia and Yasir with their absconding accomplices have been booked for their alleged involvement in a kaboom on the motorcade of Justice Baqar, the then senior puisne judge of the SHC and now a judge of the Supreme Court, near Burns Road in Karachi in June 2013.

Nine people -- six coppers, two Rangers personnel and the driver of the judge -- were killed and 12 others, including Justice Baqar, suffered injuries in the attack.

Rizwan alias Asif Chotu, Atta-ur-Rehman alias Naeem Bukhari, Sajid and Qari Khalil are absconding accused in the case.

Qasim Toori, Danish and Abid have been charged with allegedly killing two coppers and injuring as many in a shootout with police and other law enforcing agencies in Shah Latif Town, Karachi, in Jan 2008. Four gunnies were also killed in the encounter.

Asif, Saadat and Yaseen have been booked on the charge of killing Munir Hussain and his wife Razia Hussain on sectarian grounds in a New Karachi locality in Nov 2013.

Moreover, Asif and Saadat have also been nominated in a murder attempt and police encounter case. Asif has been booked in one and Saadat in three illicit weapons cases after the Crime Investigation Department of police claimed to have incarcerated

them and found unlicensed weapons in their custody following a shootout on Dec 20, 2013.

Besides the main case, the four connected cases against Asif and Saadat are also being sent to military courts.

Iraq
Anbar governor: US will not fight, only advise
[Rudaw] The governor of Iraq's Anbar province confirmed that United States combat forces would not take active role in liberating the province from the so-called Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
"The US forces will only play advising roles to Iraqi forces," said Suhaib Alrawi, Anbar's governor, dismissing claims that the US would consider sending combat forces to fight alongside Iraqi forces in Anbar military campaigns.

US forces recently trained Iraqi security forces and tribal hard boyz for the battles in Anbar, Alrawi added.

"The US fight against ISIS in the international coalition framework plays a decisive role in bombing ISIS positions and helping advance Iraqi forces."

Alrawi added, "The question of the participation of any party in the battle for Anbar is under the authority of the central government."

ISIS seized control of Ramadi on May 17, driving Iraqi forces out of the city in a major loss despite the support of US-led Arclight airstrikes targeting the bad boys.

The retreat recalled the collapse of Iraqi police and military forces last summer, when the initial blitz by ISIS into Iraq resulted in capture of one-third of the country. It has also called into question US officials' hopes of relying solely on Arclight airstrikes to support the Iraqi forces in expelling the bad boys.

Iraq: 5,000 soldiers trained by US and ready for battle with ISIS
[Rudaw] Iraq said Sunday that several thousand soldiers had completed training under American instructors, as Baghdad builds up the US-trained army that collapsed without a fight in an ISIS onslaught more than a year ago.

"They (US forces) have been monitoring and training 4,800 Iraqi soldiers," a statement by Iraq's defense ministry said, adding that that the recruits were ready for battle against the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group, known as Daesh [Islamic State] in Arabic.

"About 3,000 forces attended the last course three weeks ago, which trained Iraqi soldiers in the latest tactics and strategies, preparing them for modern war as well as the strategies and tactics that are used by Deash," the ministry said.

It added that the courses are especially useful for urban warfare and had boosted the army's ability to defeat ISIS. The soldiers also underwent weapons training by US instructors.

Since invading Iraq in 2003, the United States has been heavily involved in building and equipping an Iraqi military, including its air force.

But US-trained Iraqi forces that took over security after the United States ended its occupation in 2011 were hardly able to stand up against ISIS when it launched a lightning offensive in June last year and took over a third of Iraq.

Iraqi troops were widely condemned -- including by US officials -- for fleeing before the June 2014 onslaught and leaving huge caches of light and heavy weapons that had been sold to Iraq by the United States.

The US recognizes that the Peshmerga forces of Iraq's northern Kurdistan Region have been the most effective bulwark on the ground against ISIS.

However,
the way to a man's heart remains through his stomach...
US officials refuse to arm the autonomous Kurdistan Region -- which has its own forces -- directly. Washington insists on supplying the Kurds through an inefficient and graft-ridden Iraqi administration that is locked in rows with Erbil.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iran warns US defense chief to watch his words
Feeling their oats, now that everyone is eagerly gearing up to end sanctions ...
[Rudaw] Iran's defense minister and his armed forces chief blasted US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter on Sunday, one warning him to watch his words and the other accusing him of talking through his hat.
"Brave talk for a one eyed fat man."
In an interview published Friday, Carter accused Iran of having a military hand in a number of countries around the Middle East.

"The US secretary of defense had better go over his past record in this position of authority and reconsider his bully-like and aggressive stances and talk more sensibly and circumspectly henceforth," Iranian Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehqan said.

He said US intelligence agencies "mislead their authorities," goading them into taking "unreal, irrational, and aggressive positions," Iran's official Press TV reported.

The Islamic Theocratic Republic "is after stability and security in the region," it quoted him as saying.

In an interview published Friday in The Atlantic magazine, Carter said, "If you look at where the Iranians are able to wield influence, they are in the game, on the ground" in a number of countries.

Meanwhile,
...back at the palazzo, Count Guido stepped from behind the suit of armor, rapier in hand. Ciccolini snarled and reached for his own weapon...
Iran's armed forces chief of staff, Maj. Gen. Hassan Firouzabadi, accused Carter of being "misinformed about regional affairs."

He said the US defense chief had "talked more than he knows."
"We are certain that the US secretary of defense's remarks are based on wrong information," Firouzabadi said.

A group of five nations led by the US signed a nuclear agreement with Iran in July that was meant to lift decades of American sanctions and ease relations. Instead, hard-liners on both sides have tried to snarl the deal with a war of words.

At last check, the US desires to send at least TWO USN SHIP PATROLS per Quarter [circa 12X per year] into the SCS which President Xi has reiterated is [de facto?] Chinese territory.

China is highly unlikely to cease its various relalamtion projects as long as the USN stays just outsdie of China's proclaimed 12-NM limit - ONCE CONPLETED, HOVEVER, IT IS MORE LIKELY THAN NOT THAT CHINA WILL SET UP BOTH LARGER ADIZ(S) AND RUSSIA-STYLE "STRATEGIC ZONES" AND DEMAND THAT THE US STAY COMPLETELY OUT OF CHINA'S AREAS IN THE SCS.

In order to avoid major NucWar in East Asia-Pacific between 2 already ICBM-capable "Co-Superpowers", + WIDOUT ENDANGERING OWG-NWO, the Strait of Malaccas trade routes may have to be internationally amended, + OTHER CONCESSIONS MADE???

Again, China's actions in the SCS marks only the beginning of its effort to recover Taiwan + acquire strategic access for the PLA via both the SCS + ECS into the far Pacific. I'm a'guessin Carson + other 2016 Candidates are coming out in favor of PR Statehood because, in part, the PR changed its political status to that of Congress-voting US Commonwealth, whereas China-desired Guam is still an Unincorporated Territory of the US.

Iff the Bammer or any Anti-US US OWG Globalist POTUS Successor(s)want to hand Guam + Other over to China to avoid MAD Nucwar over Asia/East Asia-Pacific Reorg = 1/2-vs-1/2 "Sharing", the Bammer = USA can due to our unchanged political status.
