Really? But why not reduce the amount, since you have a finite number of money trees? Ya wanna show your compassion? Give them 'three hots and a cot' until they pull themselves out of dependency. Or is that not "Progressive"?

Come to think of it - the US encourages the (progressive) culture of dependency, too.
